What are your thoughts on some of the more popular ships? Fanon and canon. For example superbat, bruce x harvey dent, tim x kon, dick x babs, dick x kory, jay x roy, steph x cass, damian x jon, pennywaynes,...

I’ll list them out

Superbat (Clark/Bruce): I find this ok, but personally, I like it when the trinity acts more like siblings, so it’s not my favorite. 5/10

BruHarvey: lovers to enemies? The angst? Amazing. 8/10

Dickbabs: idk. It feels kinda boring to me. Mainly because DC ruined both of their characters in order for them to be together. 4/10

DicKori: they’re soulmates. Idk what to tell you. And maybe you can tell how biased I am. Right now, they are the opitome of right person wrong time. 10/10

Jayroy: I don’t like this ship. It reduces Roy’s character down to a prop, the age gap feels kinda icky and I personally believe in Aro/Ace Jason Todd. 1/10

Superbat (Kon/Tim): the only version of superbat I truly ship. Reluctant friends, to besties, to flirty friendship, to a game of cat and mouse on if that taunt was real or if they were just fooling around? 10/10

DamiJon: I think their age gap never works in their favor. Either Damian’s too old or Jon’s too old, and it makes me feel wrong. And in more recent comics, they’ve been acting much more like siblings than friends who maybe possibly have chemistry with each other. But I do think if you wanted to go the romance route, it could be double unrequited love that was never expressed. Like a 10yr old Jon had a crush on a 13 yr old Damian. Jon left for almost a decade and comes back, looses feelings for Damian, but a 14yr old Damian has feelings for an 18 yr old Jon, but it never works out. 5/10. Just like their Dads

PENNYWAYNESSSS: 100000000/10. Like are you kidding me, this is the best ship ever and I love it so much.

Honorable mentions:

BruTalia: 10/10. My favorite Bruce ship.

Brulina: 8/10. I like it… but I feel like it wouldn’t work out because Selina would get overwhelmed by the amount of wealth Bruce has. Like she thinks it’s what she wants, but it’s too much for her

Birdflash (Dick/Wally): 8/10. I see the appeal, they’re best friends with so much chemistry, but I feel like they would never date bc they value their friendship more and they’re both super busy

JayKyle: it’s the only Jason ship I like, but only because I want it to be one sided, with Kyle failing to flirt with Jason and Jason is completely oblivious and actually just hates Kyle but Kyle thinks Jason’s playing hard to get. (Kyles flirting is just arguing with Jason, so that’s why Jason never gets the hint) 7/10 +300 bc of hillarity

StephTim: I don’t like this ship because Stephanie deserves so much better, and Tim seems like the type to mansplain every little thing, and it would drive Steph up a wall. I also don’t like the notion that they would be friends after they break up. 3/10 bc they had that piano scene

DamiRae: 2/10. Garchel is a better ship, and I feel like their personalities are too similar.

Flatline/Damian: I love them. I think they’re cute, but I don’t see it lasting long. 4/10

StephCass: 9/10. No more needs to be said. But I won’t ever officially write them as being together within a fic bc Steph’s character deserves to be her own, rather than a lover of a Batfam member, and Cass has her own things to deal with

Jason Todd headcanons

back again with my own jason headcanons. I'll get round to posting for others. Also requests are always open, so don't be shy.

• Jay takes in strays, especially if they're babies. He doesn't mind taking in babies, he's got really good fatherly instincts

• Everyone always makes up an excuse to come over to his place, because they don't wanna admit that they love his cooking

• Has a protective mother hen vibe. He's the mother of every friend group, especially towards Roy and Kyle

• Will always text good morning and good night, doesn't matter where he is. His day isn't complete if he doesn't send a text

• In his free time he likes to game, believe it or not he's got over 100 hours on animal crossing

• Although he's got amazing detective skills, he sucks at murder mystery games and movies

• His fave movie genre are rom coms, he even has a top 10 list with his fave movies. His all time fave is 10 things I hate about you and Romeo + Juliet

• Family game night? He's super competitive. There is no such thing as friendship and family during those nights

• He likes feeling wanted within his family, so if Cass asks him if he can accompany her to ballet lessons, or with her and Steph during shopping trips? He's dropping everything to be there

• Will never admit it, but he does love when Dick calls him little wing and he secretly loves his hugs

• Even though he constantly bullies Tim, he will always come by and give him a new cup of coffee and a snack

• If he comes across a stray puppy in the alley? Best believe he's taking the puppy home, and asking Damian to come over to help out

• Every Saturday, he likes to come over and him and Alfred will spend the day cooking new recipes, and then serving it for dinner

• Will act smug and say "yep, Alfred and I cooked this"

• He loves loves compliments. Go on inflate his ego, he deserves all the compliments

• As soon as he comes home from a mission, don't expect to leave the apartment, he's gonna show you how much he missed you

• If he's had a hard day, always make sure you have his fave food ready, and hold him close to you

• Jason's love language is touch and words of affirmation. Sometimes he gets in his head and overthinks. Be there to remind him how important he is to you, and why he deserves to be loved

• His fave way to spend weekends is by sleeping in, or waking you up with his head between your thighs, or leaving kisses down your neck asking if you wanted a little morning workout

Bats

In the Batfam, like most all of them are at the bare minimum queer. Yes even Bruce, on this page we support queer Bruce and his clear enjoyment of femdoms. (Look at the mothers of his children—Talia and Selina—and tell me I’m wrong.)

Dick is the most chaotic bisexual, Jason’s most definitely queer, Tim is CANNONICALLY BISEXUAL and married Kon in my cannon, Cass leans more lesbians in my mind (yes she dated Kon but a fair amount of lesbians have dated men), Steph married the first girl she slept with and had two sons, Duke just wants peace 😂

Mar’i is Demisexual and Damian finds out Sapiosexual is a thing and is just…..yeah he has no comment 😂😂✨

Listen. There’s two straight girls on that team, Tiffany and Jenn. All the rest of them like girls to some degree (or no one in Sin’s case)

They read one too many articles calling them “Gal Pals” that had a clear pic of Maya checking out Kathy’s ass. One joke too many and Sin brought in a dildo with the word “Friendship” printed on it.

There’s definitely a joke that to be on Omega you have to be Bisexual (Jon, Milagro, Colin, and Lian), a total simp for your partner (Jai, Damian, Mar’i, Irey), or have some unexpected kinks (pick any character 😂)

Stephanie

Her dream job growing up was to be a lawyer.

She grew up in the foster care system, and she never knew her parents.

She has a scar on her left forearm from a childhood accident involving a broken glass.

Bret

Despite his rebellious nature, Bret used to be much more put together and responsible before moving in with his aunt.

He is highly creative and artistic - one time, he got arrested for spray-painting graffiti on school property.

His parents went missing on a trip, which is why he lives with his aunt currently.

Elise

Elise is very into extracurriculars, including debate. She's the lead speaker in the school's debate team and they won a regional debate competition.

Elise's friendship with Stephanie began when she was chosen to show her around when Steph was the new girl in school.

She loves collecting things, especially books and old vinyl records. For example, she has a collection of rare first editions of classic novels.

Dylan

He used to skate growing up. He once broke his arm while attempting a risky skateboarding trick.

He occasionally gets into physical altercations with other students in school when they bully/harass one of his friends.

His parents are divorced.

Alice

She develops a romantic relationship with Dylan over the course of the story.

She has a twin sister named Mary, who is highly gifted and attends a different school.

She's the youngest person in her friend group.

Ben

He backpacked through Europe during his gap year, visiting multiple countries.

He's a talented chef, and he often cooks great dishes for Stephanie.

He and Steph are the same age.

I'm curious to see some of your answers! Some of these are easy (if you've been following the story from the beginning lol), but I purposely tried to make some of these harder to answer... we'll see how you do.

And I’m gonna rant about each ship here because I’m feeling like it so just scroll past if you don’t want to read ramblings and rants

I want to preface first by saying that Jason is considered an untrustworthy criminal/ex-criminal by many heroes. They can allow team ups for the sake of the mission, but faith isn’t there. He isn’t safe from a hero lying about Jason breaking rules and turning the rest of the community against him.

Jason and Dick: It’s incest and Dick knew Jason when he was a minor + there’s a 5 years age gap between them, on top of Dick having more power and status within the super hero community (longest associate of Batman, Titan Leader, JLA affiliated etc.)

Jason and Tim: Also incest and similar to Dick, has more power and status (Young Justice leader and Titan affiliated)

Jason and Roy: I’ll admit I initially shipped them. But the more I learn about the Arrows and the less it was comfortable: Roy knew Jason as a minor and has a bigger age gape than Dick’s because Roy is supposed to be older than Dick. Also, I heard RH and the Outlaws really butchered Roy’s character (as well as Jason’s).

Jason and Slade: Slade probably met Jason as a minor, is DECADES OLDER, and (I need confirmation on this but) Slade wasn’t originally supposed to be a pedophile ? It’s weird writers ruining a character like they did for Talia. Speaking of whom, WHY TF WOULD SOMEONE WRITE AND THEN SOMEONE ELSE WOULD DRAW TALIA KISSING JASON!???!

Jason and Damian: Do I need to explain myself? DAMIAN HASN’T EVEN REACH 15!!!!!

Jason and Marinette : I never watched Miraculous Ladybug but if I’m correct, she’s 14-15? Which is basically the same situation as Damian.

Jason and Stephanie: it is a less problematic ship since they’re around the same age, met when they were older and although she is a Bat, Steph isn’t a Wayne. (Or else TimSteph would be problematic too). But… She already dated Tim and StephCass is a popular ship. Steph’s character has already been trashed so much and reduced to her love stories with the Bats. It’s not fair to her to be “passed” around.

Edit now that I think about it:

Jason and Steph are not a good ship especially for Steph’s character. From her point of view, before she gets to know him and establish friendship/sibling link, Jason is a criminal. He is violent, angry, stubborn and hard to reason with… all traits her father has. Shipping her with Jason would be a disservice to her character and everything she fought against. If she dates him with the goal to make him better, then it’s falling back on the “I can fix him” girl trope. It isn’t her job to make Jason better. It isn’t healthy for her to put her mental health in peril for someone else. Steph and Jason can’t be a good ship because they fundamentally different world views. Their relationship is interesting to explore, given their background as poorer kid than the rest of the fam, but just not in a romantic way.

Jason and Kyle:

I don’t know much either but I suppose they’re the same age and met when they were older. But I heard their team up were toxic ? I haven’t read the story arc where it happened (and there’s still the power imbalance).

Thinking about it but… very little ship with Jason are unproblematic. I can think of JayRose and Jay/Artemis but I don’t enough about both women to make an opinion.

I swear this chart has been in my nightmares before. It’s the fact that all of these (minus JayKyle) is a Proship in one way or another and NONEE of his canon ships are on this chart.

The Normalization of INCEST and Sexualization (ESP Dick and Jason) of the Batfam needs to be studied

Summary: Jason panicked and told Dick he was dating someone. Now he’s being forced to bring them to family dinner so he turns to his best friend, you, for help.

“You want me to…what?”

The couch dipped beside you and a heavy arm draped across the back. You nudged Jason with your elbow as he crowded up against you and he retaliated by swiping your book out of your hand. Since he didn’t particularly feel like dying again that day, he made sure to slide a bookmark between the pages before he shut it and tossed it onto his coffee table.

“I need you to be my date. To Sunday night dinner.” He said it so simply that you had half the mind to start concussion protocol in case he had landed helmet-first sometime during last night’s patrol. You raised an inquisitive eyebrow and he grinned.

“And this is in relation to…?”

“Dick was trying to set me up with this guy he met at a coffee shop and knowing Dick’s taste in people, I panicked and said I was already dating someone and he insisted that I bring them to meet the family. Because anyone who would date me, and I quote, is a godsend and/or in need of some serious help.”

You hummed and poked his cheek. “What if I’m both?”

“See? You’re perfect.”

You adjusted your seating on the couch so you could face him, one leg tucked under you and the other hanging off the edge of his worn couch. His large hand came down to rest on your thigh and he drew circles against your skin before squeezing gently. You slid one hand to the nape of his neck and played with his hair.

“How on earth are we going to convince your family, the greatest detectives in the world, that we’re a couple?”

You found yourself at Wayne Manor on Sunday with one very antsy vigilante. He kept asking if you remembered the story the two of you had generated and you were very close to throttling him. Two years of friendship and he still didn’t trust your ability to make shit up on the fly.

The heavy oak door swung open, revealing a short kid. He appraised you with a disinterested expression and then delicately sniffed.

“Todd, I see you have brought your lady friend for once.”

“Nice to see you too, Demon Spawn.” Jason ruffled his hair as he passed and the kid swatted his hand, a murderous glare flitting across his face.

“You must be Damian.” You held out your hand and he regarded it coolly before shaking it. “Jay told me you like animals. Remind me later and I’ll show you pictures of my cats.”

Damian’s eyes narrowed for a moment before he nodded and stepped aside. “That is agreeable. Perhaps I can introduce you to Alfred as well.”

You mouthed something akin to isn’t that the butler? to Jason and he snickered as he sidled up to you and slid his hand along your waist. “Butler AND cat. Damian was inspired when he named him.”

“Hmmm, that’s cute. So, one sibling down. How many more to go?”

“Too many.” He leaned down to brush a kiss across your brow. “Thank you.”

“Anytime, bird boy.”

Dinner went off without a hitch. Dick declared his love for you the second he met you, Tim was hesitant at first and fully assumed you were actually a mercenary hired by Jason to try and kill him again, Steph gleefully regaled you with stories of Jason slipping and falling off of roofs during patrol, and Cass had laughed when Jason had tried to steal some of Alfred’s famous mashed potatoes off of your plate and you proceeded to launch a fork at him.

Bruce, as expected, just sat quietly.

“Oh, miss, don’t worry about the plates,” Alfred exclaimed when you started stacking up Jason’s dirty dishes onto yours. “I have it handled.”

“Are you sure? It’s really no big deal.”

“Quite alright, miss. It is my job after all.”

You smiled at the kindly butler. “Jason speaks very highly of you. Thank you for always being there for him.”

“Of course, miss. Master Todd has always been a great joy in my life.” You could see the unspoken sorrow that lingered there too and you briefly thought of the jagged, y-shaped scar that spanned the length of his torso. Jason slid his hand in yours and tugged you into another room.

“Movie night,” he explained. “National Treasure, of course.”

“A classic.” He maneuvered you to fall back onto the couch, leaving a space for him between you and Dick. “Ah, shit, let me go get you a blanket.”

“So, how long have you two been dating?” Dick asked when Jason disappeared.

“I’ve known him for two years but we’ve been dating for three months.” It was the agreed upon date you two had come up with last night when you laid on the couch together, a mess of tangled limbs. “He’s my best friend.”

“He better not be trying to replace me.” Dick pouted but Damian tossed a pillow at his head and let out another scoff. The youngest Robin had Alfred the cat in his lap and stroked the cat’s fur like some kind of evil villain in his lair.

“Don’t worry, Dickiebird. No one can replace you,” Jason drawled as he returned with a blanket. He draped it over your lap and then took a seat next to you. “Good?”

“Yeah, thanks Jase.” You knew you wouldn’t last through the movie. In fact, you probably fell asleep twenty minutes in. Your head fell against Jason’s shoulder and he carefully adjusted the blanket to cover your shoulders before running a hand over your hair.

“If you haven’t already,” Bruce said from behind him. “You should tell her you love her.”

Of course, Jason groused. Nothing got past Batman.

You know what? Here is what I hope for the future of Batfam relationships

For Bruce, he is both Forever Alone and in multiple relationships.

He and Selina don't get married because she's a free spirit but they act like they're married whenever she stops by and she is essentially the Robin/Batgirl stepmother. And then they have Helena! She is such a good mom and Bruce is utterly smitten. She will also kick his ass when he's being dumb or emotionally constipated. Bonus.

He and Talia are amicable exes; they will always love each other but their lives are incompatible. Talia is very protective of Bruce's kids and she and Selina get on surprisingly well. Do not threaten Jason, Tim, or Damian if you want to live. Bruce cannot stop her and Selina will not.

(Bruce may or may not also have a vacillating relationship with both Lois and Clark. Lois is fucking awesome and Clark is his best friend like beyond measure)

Dick is with Babs, Kory, and Wally. Linda is nervous at first but she also loves Dick and they are besties and Jai and Irey adore him. Babs and Kory are jealous of each other at first, but they become friends through mocking the everloving shit out of Dick's dumbassery. Wally does nothing more than pat Dick's shoulder in sympathy because he's not arguing with the girls when they're right and it's fucking funny.

Jason and Roy may as well be married. Lian loves Jason, especially since he helped her as an amnesiac teen (I just love the idea, the Strays are in Alleytown which is in/by Park Row it's in "his territory" and Jason gets the while street orphan thing so yes). Jason and Jade hate each other but are willing to tolerate each other for Lian because Lian is Lian and deserves anything she fucking wants and she wants to know her mom. Lian also loves having badass adoptive grandmas. Selina is her favorite because she took her in, but she adores Dinah and Talia is so cool. And she gets to see Uncle Dick all the time and Jason pretends he isn't happy to see him but he is (after he works past insecurity about Dick's collection of redheads because can I just keep this one Dick holy shit Roy's mine now fuck off). Bruce and Ollie fight over who is best grandpa. Lian's family is the best. Jason and Roy date nights consist of blowing shit up, makeouts, and then going home to snuggle with their daughter.

Tim and Kon are together FINALLY and lowkey co-parenting Bart. They made joke adoption papers and hang it up on the wall. Cassie claims the title of wine aunt. Everyone else thinks they're ridiculous but They Are Family. Everyone mocks them for not realizing they were in love sooner. Like, Kon's existence pre-New 52 screamed "gay crisis shouting "no homo"" and Tim's sanity is directly tied to his relationship with Conner, like??? Tim how did you just realize you were bi you absolute dorkweed. They also both had bicon girlfriends, like??? Morons. Adorable.

Tim and Steph will always love each other, but they didn't really work as they were and are happier with other people. They have a sort of romantic friendship. Steph actually conspired with Cass to get Tim to confess to Kon because boi both of you are idiots.

Stephanie and Cass (Cain) are happily dating and the most functional relationship in the Batfam. They don't need to talk to communicate. Cass has her abilities, but Steph can read Cass specifically almost as well. Not that they don't talk; Cass is comfy enough with Steph that sometimes she will just talk for hours. So in love and so comfy together.

Damian is either dating or in a queerplatonic relationship with Jon Kent. They are best friends and always have each other's backs and love each other so fucking much. They live together on the farm and Damian has a whole ass animal sanctuary and Jon helps him care for the animals and it's beautiful and nothing hurts.

What meta abilities would you give to each of the batfam?

Alfred- Immortal, Alfie is definitely immortal and has been around for ages just doing his thing. Working for Thomas and Martha was a temporary thing to humble himself after centuries of being an arrogant warrior but now finds he likes serving his Master/son and their crazy brigade. Also taught B like so much stuff and is a great resource on history and battles. One reason B is so chill with metas and eventually adopts a bunch.

Dick- Telekinesis, he's always this in my mind. I think I read a fic of it and it just stuck in my head. I especially like the idea that his folks weren't metas and he just kind of appeared with this ability by chance. He'd have this whole arc of disliking his powers on and off maybe because he DID fall with his parents but instinctively caught himself midair on part of the broken trapeze. The survivors guilt and not feeling like a "true" Flying Grayson (like he's cheating) haunts him. This was one reason B trained him in human martial arts to kind of ground him.

Babs- Enhanced reflexes/strength, not something to do with technology you ask? NO! Barbs journey is about finding herself and where she fits in. She was a natural athlete d/t enhanced strength and reflexes, not crazy superhuman but enough to give her an edge over normal people when she became Batgirl. Losing the use of her legs devastated her but she moved past that to become the all seeing Oracle. She still can kick your ass from her chair even as she frames you for tax fraud.

Jason- Pyrokinesis, I also usually stick with this for Jay, probably leftover from the ATLA Au me and a friend kicked around for a while but it just fits. Young Jay was so gentle with his fires, lighting candles, warming Alfred's lukewarm tea that when he becomes Hood he just lets loose with these infernos to try and burn away his whole life. The first Bat who is outed as a meta and the rest of the Gotham community is watching Hood commit mass arson like "Bats how did you keep a lid on this kid" not knowing how Robin Jay used to be. Jay lords using his powers in public in his siblings' faces.

Tim- Death Communication, able to speak to the dead for certain periods (how long a person stays after death always depends). Got involved with B bc Jason's ghost came to him begging him to help his father. Tim got scared when Jason suddenly moved on midway through Robin training not realizing he'd been resurrected. Hood hates Tim for knowing what Jay used to be like. Whispers to murder victims and helps solve their cases. Thinks he can handle death fine but is both relieved and devastated when his dead loved ones move on quicker than he's ready.

Cass- Empath and low level psych, Cass's ability to read people comes not just from body language but also picking up on their emotions and some surface level thoughts if she works at it. Also able to project emotions or her thoughts into others minds. Its why she never learned to speak normally, she just communicated with her mind. Always attuned to her families emotional needs, she likes to go around projecting love and safety onto them. Its nice but sometimes Cass forgets things like Boundaries.

Steph- Precognitive Abilities, Steph gets flashes of the future at random, sometimes barely understandable snippets, sometimes long drawn out episode that last minutes and look (from the outside) like a seizure. Its how she got in the vigilante game, foreseeing not only her father's crimes but also her friendship with the fam. She drives B crazy by knowing some future events but not with any accuracy and just kind of making stuff up as she goes.

Damian- Invulnerable, well not quite but Damian is very, very hard to kill and ages slower than most humans as a result of growing up around the Pits. He's not quite invulnerable but it is harder to break skin and he heals much faster than a human. Was at first dismissive of his human father but now sees the value of his mortality. Is probably gonna be '10' for a while and the thought scares him. B is throwing crazy amounts of money to try and let Damian age as normal, even if it means cancelling out his abilities.

This one is the follow up to my Titans (2018) fix-it!

Titans!Jason is fascinating to me because his comic counterparts issues with the Batfam are null and void (Bruce does kill the Joker for him, and tells him so to his face, and Tim isn't Robin until well after Jason is already Red Hood so he doesn't feel replaced.) In theory, this should be an ideal situation for him, but the show just... keeps leaving him all alone with zero support. And I can't have that!

It's mostly just a lot of incoherent brainstorming atm, particularly how many friends I can force on him in the context of Titans!verse lmao.

As well as Jason's burgeoning friendship with Tim from the first one and his established relationship with Gar in th series, so far I have;

Fix things with Dick (a bit, maybe, please guys work with me here)

Molly (from the show itself. She canonically wanted to help him already, and all good stories need 50% more lesbians)

Steph (meet in a library and are both ADHD disasters, but Steph slightly less so)

Duke (his mum is a social worker, and the Joker is dead in this verse so they're safe!!)

Max Dawkins (from the Truth and Justice #10-12. He's literally introduced after he's already dead and that made me sad so I've decided he's not dead in Titans!verse.)

Roy (They've name-dropped him a couple times but with little to no context, and I need some fuck-up2fuck-up solidarity)

What are your thoughts on the whole Tim Drake story so far?

I'm mixed honestly.

On the one hand, I'm fine with Tim being bi, nothing wrong with that and it can cover a lot of ground if you have the right writer to work with it. However, I feel like, on the other hand, the choice of writer right now for him in regard to YJ and for his Solo series might not be the best.

My issue mostly stems from the same problem I have with the break up of Peter and MJ. Steph and Tim have been connected so long that it's very hard to see him dating others. This holds true for when the two of them broke up before and he ended up engaged to another woman. While I'm okay with them splitting, same with Dick and Babs, I personally am not liking the way it's being handled due to how OOC Steph is. She's kind of jealous, and has shown that in the past with the situation where Tim was with another girl. So why she's excited and shit is beyond me.

I need to see more of what she's going to do to figure out where this is going. Tim has such a long history and connection to so many characters that it feels like DC made a huge goof when they didn't transition the YJ gen into more solid roles before bringing in Damian and co. Don't get me wrong I love my young teams, it's just that it feels like a lot of the issue with Tim's story needs to be expanded.

I'm happy so far with him in Batman and Detective, and the focus there on building back his past to define him more against Jason and Dick. Looks like they're giving Damian Magic to make him different as well, so I'm all for that. I just want Tim to be treated as fairly as Dick is and how Jason is being given a fair shake now.

Part of the issue too is that there were also WAY better male characters to hook Tim up with, and ones that made WAY more sense.

Danny Temple, for example, aka Kid Kobra, was his room mate and Tim went to hell and back to rescue him. There was more chemistry between them than him and Bernard, and Danny had a way more interesting back story that could have played more into Tim learning about himself.

There was also Harper's younger brother, who said he had a crush on Tim. I mean, right there. You can bring in Blue Jay more and Cullen could play a larger role than he is right now. Which is just dating a member of the Royal Flush Gang apparently? Maybe? I'm not sure what they're doing with him.

I would say even Duke, but I don't know if DC would let that happen. So then you look outside of the Batfamily and you have one hell of a list if the Editors will allow the use of them.

Airwave -Aka Hal Jordan Jr. Hal 'Green Lantern' Jordan's nephew who basically admitted to liking guys to his uncle. And Hal told him to go get help learning to be a hero from, of all people, Batman.

Hartley Rathway -Aka the Pied Piper. I'm not sure how old he is in earth Prime, but assuming early 20s, it could be a fun look at how Tim could deal with someone like that, if they let the cross over happen.

Francisco Gracia -Son of Stefano Gracia. He's a classmate of Steph and has ties to Roulette.

Hero Cruz -one of the Dial H for hero characters. He knows Conner and the titans.

Joel Weinberg -aka Huston, a young hero who was trying to keep his family together after his parents died.

Kid Apollo -Hey look it's from Gen 13 and could be a fun ride if someone wanted to take it.

Miguel Montez -current owner of the dial H for Hero device. Also friends with the Titans.

Miguel Barragan -aka Bunker. Of all the characters to not use for this, why not use Bunker! He and Tim already have a friendship, he's not doing anything recently outside of the Teen Titans thing, and if anyone can help Tim navigate all of this it would be Miguel because he's been through a lot.

Raymond Terrill  -aka The Ray. Ray worked with Tim when he was in YJ so I would say old friends could rekindle something.

Rich Foley -You want to bring the Dakotaverse more into DC, you have Tim date Virgil's best friend.

Terrence Berg -Bring back Terry from Green Lantern. He's the same age as Tim, and is blonde too. He's already an established character and again would connect the bats and the Lanterns.

There are so many characters out there. I mean, you really want to throw people for a loop, have him date Jon.

Like I said I feel mixed. I'm happy that Tim's moving forward with stories and that his character is being explored more. But I just wish that some of it would be with a writer that I feel more confident about, and with a partner that was more in line with what we know about Tim as a character.

Again no hate for Bernard, I just don't find him interesting.
