Sanzu sighs a lot when you decide something was wrong when he, in fact, didn't care. Yet his heart always skips a beat when he hears you speaking louder than you usually do, mad at people treating him poorly. He listens to you for a while before he finally steps in and holds your hands when he's feeling cheesy, or your elbows when he's a bit tired or high.

"Babe, it's really nothing. Don't worry yourself like that, you'll get wrinkles." He honestly makes you laugh every time, or at least confort you that he doesn't care about anyone's opinion besides yours. And oh how much you love and care for him everyday, he can't even doubt it. He wished you'd stop hurting yourself over things like this, but recognize that your sweet nature is definitely what he loves the most about you.

Ran laughs at you when you get offended for nothing. It can be about something going your way to work to you spiking your coffee on the counter. It's his own comic relief of the day when you're stroming around, a deep frown on your face making you look like a small, angry animal but still defenseless. His laughter always makes it worse, without mentioning his venom filled remarques, to make fun of your overreacting nature. To the point you can cry and not speak to him for hours – but for sure mentioning it all to Rindou.

Ran hates it when you team up with him, because you wouldn't talk to him but Rindou would, on the other hand, mention you and everything you told him to Ran. He's always making the first step to you and apologizing with probably a hundred wroth bouquet and your favorite snacks – promising you he'll never do it again, when he will most certainly do it again.

Seeing you enjoying small things about life is the reason why Mikey kept you around at first, you reminded him of his younger self and his friends at that time. Every time you stop to pet a stranger's dog, a small smile shows on his lips, one you rarely get to see even if you're always the reason for it.

You listen to him so carefully the few times he does talk to you, it makes him feel alive again. You're doing most of the talking and you're always so sorry to take this kich when that's what he loves about you. He makes sure to tell you that he likes it from time to time, just to be sure you won't stop. Your heart is so soft and warm, welcoming him every time you see him again with new facts you learn and an unconditional love that overflows everywhere, and he gets the chance to be showered with it every time.

Kokonoi gets used to you stopping all the time the second you catch the glimpse of a stay animal. So he instinctively adds ten minutes to every trip you two have to do, even if it's only to walk to his car because there's a few stray cats in the parking lot and he's sure you're gonna stop or even wait for them to walk out from their hide spot.

But he just can't bring himself to get impatient when your eyes light up at the sight of the small cats. The way you jolt in joy when their cold nose finally touches your hand, and you look up to him with the softest smile he ever had the chance to witness. Yes, you're usually late, but he just had to snap a picture of you with the white kitten and everyone is accepting the fact that those ten minutes of your happiness are worth the delayed meetings.

Kakucho's always there to rub your back when you cry in front of a movie. He never sees why you cry particularly, but always listen thoughtfully to what you have to say about it. He brings you tissues, sometimes even wipes your nose for you and lets you dive into his arms when a character you like dies. He can't help but tell himself how sensible you are every time, but also how he loves that. You bring him back to his human nature and what it is to be emphatic about normal things, far from his rough life where his life is at risk every time he steps outside the door.

Kaku was a workaholic. He enjoyed what he did, so it wasn't often that he took off work for a day. But today was different, because for him today was special.

It was your birthday.

You woke up to a smell that was heaven on earth, and immediately your stomach grumbled. You blushed in embarrassment, even though there was no one in the room to be embarrassed in front of, and quickly got out of bed because you knew that smell could only mean one thing.

Kaku was home.

"Hi, handsome," you greeted with a warm smile as you wrapped your arms around his bare torso. "I see you dressed to impress."

He laughed, clad in only a pair of sweatpants, no shirt, "I know how much you love it when I cook like this, my love. Besides, this was the first surprise of the day for my sweet birthday girl."

"You took off work to stay home with me?" You smiled even more. Kaku was incredibly sweet. You kissed his cheek as he hummed.

Kaku had to peel him off you, and you laughed as you said Khalifa's signature phrase, "Sexual harassment," and watched the colour drain from his face.

Then Kaku took you somewhere nice to eat, and the whole time just gazed at you lovingly as you thanked him for such a great day and described how much you love him.

"You're so beautiful," Kaku interrupted your little speech, his eyes twinkling with admiration, awe and love. "You're so beautiful."

It was such a thoughtful thing to give and his words were even sweeter, making your heartbeat speed up. You were at a loss for words, this was the most amazing gift you had ever gotten, and him saying he planned to marry you when you were ready made you fall in love with him all over again.

"Then you're perfectly matched," he slid the promise ring onto your finger, then brought your hand up to his mouth so he could kiss it.

That evening as you lay in bed, you couldn't help but wonder how you'd gotten so lucky. Then Kaku walked in to join you, but he was holding a small cake with a single candle on it, and you laughed.

"Well, isn't that cute?"

He smirked, "Can't have a birthday without cake."

He settled on the bed next to you, smiling gently as you sat up to face him. He held the cake up gingerly between you two, so he could sing to you softly and you could blow them out afterwards, after making a wish. It was the most intimate, romantic moment of your birthday so far, and you smiled at him lovingly.

"Thank you so much for today, love," you spoke between eating the cut cake. "It meant so much to me, you have no idea."

He just smiled and looked up at you with an icing-covered nose, and you giggled as you wiped it off and watched him eat messily, adoring your goofball boyfriend. He was the cutest when he ate, and in that moment you silently thanked God for giving you such a treasure.

LOOK people I know everyone is all over Dofuwani and it's great, everyone wants the other brother with crocodile one of the most shipped men I've witnessed in some time but I just think that Corazon and Crocodile is simply one with potential to be ICONIC. Crocodile & Corazon while being opposites in the Sense of what they do (Pirate & Marine respectively) would possibly work together due to Crocodile being a Warlord. I'd imagine the bickering would be quite funny but one of them would need a light for a cigar/cigarette and then they'd just sit there in silence smoking until Corazon eventually lights himself on fire. everyone has heard of dofuwani or dofladile. the classic villain pairing. but hear me out. crocodile and the OTHER DQ bro. stay with me folks personality-wise, think about the amount of sanity crocodile would retain. rosinante is far quieter, much more pleasant for an introvert to put up with. sure, he can goof off at times, but he can read the room. he can be serious. crocodile can be a little violent and testy, but rosinante’s dealt with it all before. he knows how to either ignore it, or diffuse it. think about the possibilities their relationship could have. crocodile was a warlord. they could have met when rosinante was still a marine, before either of them got tangled up in doflamingo’s schemes. or, maybe crocodile met corazon, doflamingo’s brother and right-hand man. maybe what started as an attempt to piss doflamingo off turned into a night he couldn't forget. what if someone actually showed crocodile some love? what if someone who was drawn to harmful people found himself snared in crocodile’s grasp, too? so many different spins on their relationship it makes me dizzy.

Potential dynamic fascinate me.

Miku: They would always have things to talk about (swords and Zoro). Fight flirting would be a definite, Mihawk's likely never seen anything like Kaku's giraffe swordsmanship so there's novelty there, and Kaku would have the time of his life in Kuraigana.

Baking Mama: KillerCook Baking Challenge!

Hey It's me! Mama Sheath! I'm here today with IRL Blorbo (depicted as Kaku as per his request to keep his image off the internet). Today we are participating in Killer's Secret Brownie Baking Challenge! For those who don't know the rules, the challenge is to make brownies with a secret ingredient—not THAT kind of ingredient—and describe them for others to guess what your secret ingredient is.

I'll be honest, I went SUPER unconventional for these with a lot of the ingredients, but the one in particular I will not mention is the aim. My inspiration came from my nephew being a fussy eater, and things that can be done to make even desserts more healthy while still being delicious!

So for the process of this recipe, some items got blended together to make it easier to combine, mostly all of the wet ingredients. Chocolate chips were added and blended as well. I was not surprised by the color given the secret ingredient. IRL Blorbo wasn't either, but he expected it to be darker.

I used greek yogurt, maple syrup and honey (I ran out of maple syrup and needed it to be a little sweeter and straight sugar would have been too much), vanilla bean paste, eggs, and the secret ingredient.

Once it was mixed in with the dry ingredients, though, most of the color went to what you would expect brownies to be.

The dry ingredients included oat flour, cocoa powder, Semi sweet chocolate chips, baking powder and a little salt. Everything was then poured into some baking pans and baked 350°F for 40 minutes.

YAY! IT'S READY!

I was was not all that surprised with how dense and moist they came out, and they are very much on the rich side. The texture is almost a cross between a souffle and a brownie. I was surprised there was no earthiness to it, and it just tastes like the most decedent brownie you've ever had in your life!

So of course I made ice cream to go with it.

May or may not still be in a food coma.

When I asked IRL Blorbo his thoughts, he was not helpful as he answered with full cheeks: "Tastes like brownie." I then asked him what the texture was like, and he answered, again, with "Brownie"

It's a damn good thing he's cute, because he was NO HELP!

I do feel once baked, the color was a little almost purpley looking, which surprised me, and it really does just taste like brownie, so I can't be that mad at IRL Blorbo.

Well with that, I wish you luck on guessing my ingredient. I will leave a hint as I play myself out!

I know it wouldn't make sense timeline wise since (I'm assuming) Kaku takes Little Lucky when he first goes to inspect The Merry, so she wouldn't have a chance to know about Usopp getting beat up. But I just died at the thought of Franky finally managing to make it to CP-9's train car and the first thing he gets is an angry four year old who wants to get payback for her friend.

Also, hear me out on this, but have you ever considered a strays au but with Little Lucky? The utter chaos that she and Lizard could cause just from people underestimating them alone is endless. Plus, I think it'd be really cute and sweet for Doll to get to be around someone younger and help ensure their childhood is a happier and healthier one than her own. And neither her or Lizard had friends their own age growing up, I'm crying at how precious it could be for them to play with a little kid; it might be awkward and unnatural at first, but of course Luffy jumps in and everyone's having fun and laughing in less than a minute.

Little Lucky suddenly looking up to Lizard more because she bit a dude's fingers off is also just hilarious to me. Kaku is just trying to slowly cover her eyes because his paternal instincts say, "Hey, maybe this amount of bloodshed and dismemberment isn't the best thing for a small child to witness." Said small child later boasting to Zoro about how Lizard must be stronger than him because, "she doesn't even need a sword to hurt people with her mouth!" Spandam is sorely mistaken if he thinks Fukuro is going to be the only one repeating that story 😂

Kaku does take her when he goes to survey the Going Merry, but Luffy is able to get her back after breaking in to the Galley-La main building, so she does get a chance to find out about what happened. It might be more upsetting this way because she doesn't get a chance to say goodbye to Usopp and she's mad at everyone involved for not finding a way to fix it. Friends are supposed to be able to talk things out! How did it get this bad?!

She spends the duration of the ride to Enies Lobby in Rocketman yelling at the Franky Family and trying to throw hands with them, and when she finally gets to Franky it is on SIGHT. He can't get a word in edgewise without being pelted with rocks from her slingshot or getting kicked and stomped on.

On a similar note, she's with Luffy and Chopper in not being able to tell who Sogeking is. She's sadly telling him how much he reminds her of her friend Usopp while wishing she could see him again because she never even got to say goodbye. It takes everything he has not to out himself, especially when she says she would upgrade him to 'best friend' status if he came back.

Little Lucky in the Strays AU would be so cute oh my god

Lizard is going through intense emotional turmoil upon realizing that there was a child with the Straw Hats and that her father probably would have killed her along with everyone else (he wouldn't have, having a child softened him a bit). Lizard is trying to avoid her because she feels guilty, but Lil Lucky follows her around like a duckling because 'oh new friend!'

She was already getting fond of Lil Lucky by the time they got to Skypeia, but after the Enel incident they are inseparable. Lizard is her personal body guard now, and that quickly grows into her taking on a big sister role. Lucky thinks Lizard is the coolest and always cheers her on when she's committing acts of unspeakable violence.

Doll finds Lil Lucky to be the easiest person to interact with right after joining. Little kids don't notice how awkward she is around people, so she's less self conscious. Doll loves to play with her and indulge in normal childhood things that she didn't get to do growing up.

Lol your defending for GabiYui is really on point. I remember some watchers even said 'too bad Gabimaru's heart is stick on his wife, Sagiri is much prettier or hotter' or 'go for it Gabimaru, it's okay to have multiple wives'. awww thank you! ofc I will defend GabiYui no matter what since this pair is so close to my heart and has actually inspired me to write better at romance (aside from the other characters from different fandoms I am in) and do my best in life (Nishinoya from Haikyuu is still my main drive but still)

re: "Sagiri is prettier than Yui" issue

these two are absolute sisters your honor

I won't deny that sagiri is beautiful like I swear have you seen her and the way she fights back despite men looking down on her and how she swings her sword? plus episode 6 highlighted her being able to balance her emotions, making her gently kill rokurota. ugh perfection. chef's kiss. 1000/10 rating.

but ya know I don't get why people have to be like "Sagiri is way prettier and hotter but too bad Gabi is not in love with her" like what do you mean too bad? like ???? idk if it's just me but does gabimaru have to appreciate her being hot or what? plus ya know gabi is not into the appearance anyways. he even said in the latest episode (which is episode 7 as of this writing) that appearances really don't matter.

plus I don't get why people love comparing yui and sagiri's physical appearance against each other and saying "this girl is prettier" yada yada when they are both best girls with distinct beauty. in fact, there is an interview with Chainsaw Man author Tatsuki Fujimoto about Hell's Paradise author Yuji Kaku where he discussed about drawing female characters. according to Fujimoto-sensei, Kaku-sensei always drew his female characters beautifully in an aesthethic manner and his reason behind this is bcos "all girls are cute regardless so we must always draw them as cute girls" (not exact quote but you get what I mean) that's why Fujimoto-sensei added he has been trying to draw his female characters as cute as possible. so yeah both sagiri and yui are cute and pretty or whatnot. they just exhibit different vibes like sagiri has major main female chara vibes while yui is def softcore cottagecore vibes 🥰🥰🥰

besides, no matter what people say, yui will still be the most beautiful person in gabimaru's eyes. he even said so in both manga and episode 7.

note: he used the word "utsukushii" for the term "beautiful" and in Japanese, using this term means you really find a person so beautiful inside and out that it moves you emotionally so the mere fact gabimaru described yui in this manner despite her telling him that she's ugly is something else 😭🥺💖

re: "it's okay for Gabimaru to take on multiple wives" issue

here's MY NOT SO CONTROVERSIAL TAKE on this one bcos you all know my answer.

it is no doubt that gabimaru can take on multiple wives. after all, gantetsusai mentioned he has multiple wives across japan. plus their time period allows men to marry multiple women so people making this statement knows what they are saying.

HOWEVER!

I actually don't think gabimaru will engage in this sort of thing (see, I told you my opinion on this is not controversial hehe) and here's why.

we all know that osa (aka iwagakure village chief) killed gabimaru's parents and took gabimaru in, even to a point where gabimaru literally lives in the village chief's home like some sort of special treatment.

however, I think one reason gabimaru got special treatment is bcos both of his parents are high-class shinobis (like jonin level) and ofc osa saw his potential that maybe "ah this kid might inherit his parents' ninja skills or something"

plus, osa doesn't have any sons to begin with bcos surprise surprise YUI HAS NEARLY 20 HALF SISTERS with her being the eighth daughter. and accdg to Kaku-sensei, there is a major possibility of yui and gabimaru meeting as children (but alas it is hard to tell since yui has so many sisters). and yes this is all mentioned in Jigokuraku Kaitai Shinsho (pls someone translate this huhu)

so when saku (the toasted marshmallow gabimaru that we know) became the 58th gabimaru by killing the 57th gabimaru, he was rewarded for his skills and intellect by marrying yui. but the thing is, it's a common talk among iwagakure ninjas that osa has been looking for a successor and bcos he doesn't have a son, the only choice is to have gabimaru marry into his family (which is common in Japan)

fun fact: gabimaru actually doesn't know why he was married to yui though. he even thought maybe yui has some kind of secret ninjutsu or something. he tried to find out but this boy went home and when yui greeted him with a beaming smile, he was immediately overwhelmed with feelings that he forgot his own agenda 😭😭😭

so what's the point of all this? you see gabimaru has never realized why yui was so adamant abt this sense of normalcy and all that stuff until he finally learned the meaning behind her dream. after all, in iwagakure, when a man is born, he automatically has to be a ninja and a woman has to get pregnant and bear more children that will become ninjas. and if they die during training, then they'll be replaced by another batch of offsprings that will be ninjas or vessels for children.

in short: women in iwagakure are not only beaten, but also treated as baby-making factories (ofc some of them become kunoichis but most of them just become a housewife that takes care of dozen babies). doesn't matter how young or old. as long as you can get pregnant, then you go do your duty for iwagakure. hence why yui loathed this kind of set up and when she voiced out her want for normalcy, she paid the price by having her face scarred.

but what if a girl doesn't get pregnant? ahh then the guy will take another wife, get her pregnant, then process repeat and repeat. it's a cruel cycle that never ends.

in osa's case, it took him like so long before finally accepting his wives cannot give him a son. and in my own opinion, these things can influence gabimaru into not having a harem marriage in the first place. like imagine marrying multiple women just for the sake of a duty.

besides, given how bad he's down for yui, I don't think he would want another woman other than her. like srsly gabimaru has so much respect for her and having a harem marriage would defeat every single thing he and yui are fighting for.

after all, gabimaru hates the idea of women being treated as broodmares. remember, his wife has been "marked" for the same reason. like he really abhors the idea and there are theories of yui being possibly pressured into having children with gabimaru and tbh it all boils down into this canon evidence from the manga.

plus I hate it when people normalize cheating like "gabi might cheat with sagiri" or something like srsly? I thought we were all past NTR and all that stuff? if you are into NTR kinks, there are various media forms that can cater to that and sadly, Hell's Paradise is not the medium for NTR as much as these people want it to be.

In a three-way relationship, the s/o / reader would be the sub 100% of the time. Lucci and Kaku would team up to nearly ensure it.

I can see them being a lot kinder to a non-CP style S/O and probably just as competitive with a CP-styled S/O. At the end of the day though, i think there would be a legit caring/loving vibe. Even if no one else understood it or could see it.
