Okay SO! Cherry’s great great great great grandfather was the one to eventually pillage and destroy the land The Wretched lived on (and then his son’s son was the one who renamed them from The Ethereals to The Wretched because that’s what he saw them as-wretched creatures) so the wretched kinda had to learn about her family from birth. I feel like it’s a little vendetta that the family has held against them and af first even Pony was like “your family would kill me for my pelt/antlers and stuff, how do I know you’re not the same?”

So in this Cherry is human. There’s a few like…half human/half wretched creatures because those kinds of relations are seen as disgraceful and impossible…though it has happened and that’s where the middle class falls into place, so they usually ether end up being mythical creatures with no binding to elements or they end up human with a binding with an element…maybe I’ll make Cherry a half one but I don’t think I will. But anyway. This is fun—

So Bob was the main guy who jumped Johnny (who is a siren in this…still debating on what he’s bound to? Originally I said blood…maybe dreams tho? I honestly don’t know yet. But anyway. When johnny was on land and got jumped he had his voice and a bunch of his scales stolen. And Bob gave Cherry a necklace with Johnny’s scales inside (he lied about where he got them) but Pony was REALLY mad at her at first (he doesn’t notice until she comes to visit Johnny in the hospital) and he’s like “You wear his scales every day! Did you not notice that you can bend *insert element that Johnny is bound to*?!” and Cherry jsut feels SICK because she thought Bob had just found them because sirens shed scales all the time on land and they’d be taken, but these were FROM JOHNNY’S JUMPING and she just throws it away. She thought it was by co incidence if anything.

But in this AU she goes against her family and ends up siding with The Wretcehd. She probably ends up getting kicked out for “disgracing the family name” and she stays with Marcia (her and Marcia are 🤞) but Pony forgives her and even tries to give her one of his feathers as a token of it but she absolutely refuses it because she can’t stand looking at humans wearing parts of Wretched. She even goes back to calling them Ethereals.

I <3 the socs in this AU…thinking about having some toxic yuri between Bev and Ace too lol

because here’s the thing: you and him have created a routine now. a code. he will tap his shoulder once in question – want me to pick you up? – and he’ll wait for you to nod twice before crouching down so you can hop on his back.

and it’s this little adorable thing that the two of you know by heart. it doesn’t matter where you two are or who you are with, whenever it’s time to go simon will always tap his shoulder to ask you if you wanna be carried.

so the first time that he doesn’t do it, you’re filled with worry. you’re anxious that maybe simon’s exhausted for any extra flare right now. you inch towards him to tell him that he doesn’t have to carry you but you notice that simon isn’t moving at all. it’s not just the tap, but he doesn’t even turn to hop on his bike or anything.

he just cocks his head to the side, arms crossing over his chest, and watches you. you blink, confused, unconsciously mirroring his tilted head, and simon chuckles.

you do not hear his laughter but you do see his shoulders shake as he laughs, his voice muffled by his helmet. you frown, and it’s your turn to cross your arms this time before snubbing him because you understood what he just tried.

naturally, it’s time for payback.

you watch from the corner of your eyes as simon straightens up, his laughter dissipating and his relaxed stance being replaced by rigidity as he sees the shift in your mood.

he ambles towards you, worried, but you still do not face him, blatantly pretending to ignore him. your silence lasts for only another ten seconds before you see simon ducking down, his big body escaping your field of view, and the next you know you’re being slung over his shoulder.

you squeal, your mind still reeling over the loss of your centre of gravity, but simon’s already running around the lot, thundering past parked cars and making sharp turns that force you to grip on him for dear life.

“simon!” you scream, smacking his back, but simon just playfully slaps your ass in response before making another turn.

you can’t help it – you laugh.

johnny sighs as he watches simon carry you off deeper into the parking lot before snapping his visor up and looking at kyle. “you think they forgot that we’re here again?”

kyle snorts as he turns his engine off. “‘i think’? more like ‘i know’.”

johnny groans as he drops his head on his hands. great. now they’re truly going to be late for the meet up.

imagine how much shin loves saint. how he couldn't hate him even for what he did to him. the fact that he was never angry with the broken leg but the fact that he left him. how are they real

and i love the way it was shown in the series (as someone who knew nothing about the og), at the start we see that saint is obsessed, he loves shin more than he loves himself, he's willing to get beat up and humiliated over and over for shin, and we just see shin enabling it

but then as the show progresses we learn just how much shin loves saint back, how much he needs him around the same way saint needs him, how he wasn't even angry about the broken leg !!!! but about saint leaving !!!!!

and there's hints of it all throughout !! the looks shin's constantly giving, and taking the kick for saint, even though he wouldn't accept his help afterwards, it's in all the little things that u can see that shin isn't as unaffected as he's trying to seem, that he's fighting himself to just give in and love saint loudly like he was so used to doing (until he wasn't) 😭 because yes he's angry and hurt because of saint, but that doesn't lessen how much he loves him
