Honestly, it's actually a pretty important moment for both Rafa and Traximus. Rafa because that's that's the moment they realize Donny has like no self preservation instinct, so if he won't protect himself, Rafa will, while he's around to do it at least. It's important for Traximus b/c for the first time in years, he's seeing his ward acting like a child and he pretty much decides right then and there that 1) They're definitely siblings, and 2) if these 3 strangers actually manage to escape this place, he is making Rafa go with them.

Anyways, here's my little experiment with limited color pallets. I'm not sure i'll do this again b/c it was kinda annoying to figure out the colors first (especially since i knew i wanted both variations of red and purple but couldn't find a good pallet for that. Thus i ended up with this one.)

ps. Donny's shoulder is a reoccurring problem at this point b/c he won't let it rest long enough to heal properly. The injury first happened during "shredder strikes back" events and since Donny decided to start his training pretty much immediately upon getting to the farm house, it hasn't had the rest it needs to properly recover. theoretically, it should be healed by now, but he keeps pushing himself and re-injuring it, a fact he's been hiding as much as he possibly can.

The peaceful hug of sleep is harshly interrupted by the blaring of your boyfriend's alarm. You stare at the ceiling, using all of your strength to get out of Heeseung's hands.

When you return to the room, Heeseung is sitted at the edge of the bed, hunched over his phone, not looking up when you draw closer. "Did my alarm ring? I didn't hear it." "I did." You grumble, flopping down on the bed next to him, relaxing your back into it.

He gently rubs your thigh, "sorry, love." you groan at him, pressing your hands to your chest, your eyes closing. You feel him move, finding his way between your legs, his head resting on your chest. "I wanna sleep hee." " I'm not trying to stop you darling." You sigh, wrapping your arms around his shoulders.

He gently shifts again, kissing up your neck, your fingers twitching slightly. "Hee." You gasp, letting your arms flop to the bed as he rises up. His fingers lace with yours, "Sorry, am I disturbing you?" He teased, you shake your head.

"Beautiful." he mutters, capturing your lips.

Arguments with Jay were rare, but when they happened, they often left the both of you hurt. That was the case the night before, Jay's harsh words repeating in your mind as you slam your apartment door behind you. The darkness of the night engulfed you as you walked to god knows where to clear your mind. When you come home you're met with silence, the clock ticking in the background. 3:00 am.

You settle for the couch, using a soft plushie as a pillow, covering you body with your jacket.

You barely drift off when you're awakened by your body being hoisted up. Though you can't see him, your arms wrap around his neck, your soft breath brushing against his neck. Jay gently places you on your shared bed, his body hovering over you.

"I was so worried." he murmurs, you struggle to act like you don't care, the slight quiver in his voice causing your heart to squeeze in pain. "You didn't answer your phone, I went to check everywhere but I couldn't find you." a tear falls to your check, rolling off immediately. "My phone died." You answer, your right hand raising to wipe his tears. You sit in silence before his lips are pressed to yours, apologies slipping from his lips when he pulls away.

He is fully over you now, his lips kissing your skin gently, apologies following every press of his lips to your skin. Your fingers lace as the sun slowly starts to peek in.

Jake plays with the subtle silver band on your finger, the dopey smile from the day before never wavering. Jake's eyes raising to meet yours excitedly, "I can't believe we're engaged." he repeats, you chuckle, pulling your hand away to rub your eyes. "You've said that all night." he wraps his hand around your waist, pulling you closer.

"I can't believe it... Can't believe you said yes." He leans in, pressing a wet kiss to your cheek. A giggle leaves you as you playfully push him away, wiping your face. "Maybe I should've said no, after all the stress you put me through all weekend. " He pouts, pulling you close to his chest, his hair tickling your skin.

"Sorry, I wanted it to be special, and memorable." you shun him playfully, crossing your hands over your chest, leaning your head away. He bites the space between your neck and jaw gently, a small yelp leaving your lips. "Yunnie!" He giggles into your neck, hands moving to your side, tickling you.

You laugh loudly, struggling to get out of his grasp. You turn your body slightly, hold his right arm tightly, both hands stopping in response. You pause to catch your breath, leaning forward towards his neck. He responds faster than you, pressing your arms to your chest, his body going to hover over you.

"I'm winning this one babe." you cock your eyebrow, tilting your head slightly. You bite your bottom lip, trailing your eyes down to his, your eyes looking back up into his. His stare intense, a slight blush rising to his face. "Really?" You take advantage of his loosening grip, reaching up to pull him down. Your lips dance with his, your tongue licks at his bottom lip, and he readily welcomes you, his hand gripping the sheets beside your head.

You pull away, leaning up more to bite his ear, giggling at the shakey sound he lets out. "I think I won Jakey."

You stir awake hearing a loud sound ring through your apartment, your heart pounding in your ear as you stay in your position waiting to see if anything else would come up. Your name catches your ear, though muffled, your previous fear flipping to happiness. You jump to your feet, forgetting your slippers, the cold tiles waking up your nerves more.

"Hoon?" He's barely visible, shifting his bags. He looks up and smiles, "Hey." You're in his arms almost a second later, he let's out a surprise laugh as he stumbles backwards. " Thought you were coming home tomorrow." you murmur into his neck, "Surprise~" he teases. He holds you for a second, before gently going to push your shoulders to see your face. Your head shakes in response, your grip not faltering, slowly growing drunk on his scent. "can I look at you? It's been months since I saw your face." "Please just hold me." He easily complies, both arms wrapping around you tightly.

You pull away from him eventually, his hand raises to your cheek. You finally scan his face fully, your face twisting with worry. "You look exhausted." he only smiles, "I am, a little." the last part comes out lightly and deep, your eyes trailing from his eyes to his lips before moving back. He leans in and you lean away, "You need to rest." "Hah, yeah." he pulls away, his hand reaching for his luggage.

Your hand lightly brushes his away, a short huff leaving you as your struggle to raise it. "You'll get hurt y/n, I got it." "I got it." You say dragging your feet towards your room. He watches you for a second, laughing silently to himself before reaching from his smaller duffle bag.

You're not sure when you both fell asleep, but his soft breath in your face now filled you with a certain warmth. The afternoon sun peeking in through your windows, adding warmth to your body. You brush his hair out of his face, your finger outlining his face before you lean in, pressing your lips gently to his. There's a slight pause before the ends curl up, shifting his face deeper into the pillow, his eyes opening to look at you.

"What a beautiful sight to wake up to." He murmurs, his deep voice ringing in your mind. You snicker, "I know." you whisper in response, your hand moving slightly down his neck, your eyes follow your fingers tracing his skin. "Missed you." you look up at him, you body growing hot as your take in the emotion evident on his face. "Me too." His hand trails down your waist, a trail of goosebumps following in his tracks, despite the layer of clothing keeping his hand from your skin. His cold hand on your warm skin makes you jolt slightly, your shirt raised slightly giving him access to your lower waist.

"Missed you so much you have no clue. you're such a distraction even when you're miles away." He teased. You grip at his shirt as he pulls you close, closing the distance between the both of you. He opens his mouth to speak again, and you immediately press your lips to his, his hand immediately going behind your head.

you just nod bringing your hand up to draw little shapes on his back while he just sits there eating. it was a comfortable silence, besides the soft music playing in the background that was left on coming from another room. he loved when you took care of him when he would get a bit drunk, even if he wouldn't remember most of it tomorrow morning.

Hey, so I really love Lore Rekindled, and the art is one of my favorite parts! The style, the coloring, the background, all of it is just so… smooth! I don’t really know how to describe it. Recently, I’ve been trying to replicate it, and I was hoping you would give me a few pointers. What brushes do you use for line art? How do you decided what to line, and what to leave blank? What about coloring brushes? Do you use smudge brushes? Whats, like, the step by step process? You don’t have to answer if you don’t want to! But any tips or answers would be great!

Here are the brushes! They're .abr brushes, so they should work in Photoshop, Clip Studio and Procreate :) (they don't work in Krita or other software that utilizes PNG brushes though, sorry ; ; )

There's also a tutorial included with that file that breaks down my process layer by layer! That said, there are a couple things that have changed in my process since doing that tutorial:

I mostly use the Hard Square Pastel brush now for all of that 'crispy' lighting that often happens along the edges of characters' shoulders and heads, such as seen here:

I now do an extra step of applying a 'blur' layer, where I essentially merge all the layers into a new layer on top of everything, set it to Overlay, and then Gaussian Blur by about 60%. This is how I get that 'dreamy' look that's been present in a lot of the more recent episodes!

It's subtle, but really effective in making the glow effects and deeper colors really pop!

As for the more nuanced stuff like lineart, it's kinda just something I do by feel! Sometimes I'll shade something in and realize the lineart doesn't need to be there, so then I'll go in and erase, other times I have to be a bit more excessive with it esp if two similar colors are up against each other. I'm actually trying to use less lineart going forward to get more of that authentic LO look but it's hard, I'm very used to doing lineart-heavy drawings so it's forcing me to draw in a way that I'm not used to! 😆 I usually always start with flat colors first though, meaning I start by 'shaping' out the character poses and then lining them in afterwards!

Be not afraid, for I will reveal my secrets in rendering step by step.

1. After I'm finished with lineart, I added the base color. It's faint, but putting in gradient will make it pop.

2. In order for the whole thing to look harmonious with each other, on top of the base color I added a multiply and overlay layer. The color I use for multiply is usually desaturated, kinda pastel-y. The overlay one is more saturated (see alternative colors below).

3. The result should be kind of dark. Which is what I'm after, because what you're seeing is already shadowed. So instead of adding the shadow to the base color, I'm adding the light.

On top of the multiply layer, I added an overlay layer. I keep in mind where the light source is coming from (see the blue arrows). The color of the overlay can be whatever -- it depends on the vibe you're trying to make (e.g if they're in waterfall, I'd use light cyan).

Also, see that normal layer clipped onto my overlay? It's how I added my "fringe" (aka subsurface scattering). I often use pink. Just line it on the edges of the light.

4. Now I added a multiply layer again, just to give the piece more depth and details (like the skin)

5. Now I'm adding what's called reflective light (google to see examples irl). Basically, I covered the darkest parts of the drawing with something lighter. For this one I just added pastel purple in the normal layer, but there are other layer types to lighten it up!

6. Now, I colored the lineart through clipping. I usually just matched the surrounding colors by adding a darker one (e.g dark red for skin).

Optional: I like to make 2 copies of the lineart, make one red and another cyan, and respectively slide it to left and to right. Sometimes it doesn't even look good tho....

7. Highlights time! To do this I disable the background so it's transparent, click right and choose 'merge visible to new layer'. Which flattens the visible image onto a new layer. Now I can add in these white lights by clipping on top of it!

(It's a lil tricky to do this right with a brush, so I used the lasso fill tool.)

To top it off, I add some sparkes. My simp art is done <33

Edit: I forgot!! By the end of it all you can add a texture by setting said texture into overlay with low opacity (on top of the finished art). In CSP you can add a perlin noise, one of these:

You can use other kinds of textures for ur artwork, like watercolor etc.

Leo and Michi meeting for the first time since separated

Look at my sons! they're so sweet and awkward and i love them to bits!

This is probably my favorite reunion out of all of them. Simply because Michi only just left the Foot like a week prior. He's hurt and confused and just in a generally bad mental place. So Splinter brings him to meet Leo, hoping that will help (and with the plan of him staying with Leo at the Daimyos for his safety and wellbeing.)

and then there's Leo, who remembers his sibling enough to miss them. He's lonely almost constantly since Ue all but hates him and his only real friend is Usagi who doesn't get to visit nearly enough.

But then one of his brothers is there. Right there! and suddenly, neither of them are really alone anymore.

It's just the sweetest reunion out of the lot. and i love it to bits.

i just read a seekers x bee fic where skywarp was in the background getting ignored and now i want a seekers only fic with what was supposed to be trinefucking but turned into starcracker halfway through featuring a very, very pent-up skywarp

Skywarp is so into it tho, it's just part of their berthroom games. He likes to watch them touch each other, forbidden from touching himself and probably with some kinda toy in his valve... getting increasingly more squirmy and desperate and whining through the gag in his mouth... when his trine mates finally give him their full attention, they manhandle him on his hands and knees. Woke up, had two hilarious confession scenarios for Jamil.

Scenario 1: Kaguya-sama Love is War type shit. The reader and Jamil have been subtly flirting with each other for months trying to get the other to confess. Jamil is into it because he's a paranoid bastard and hates loosing. Reader is into it because it's fun getting all those reactions out of Jamil. They're both into this because they're insanely in love with each other and thing mind games are sexy.

Tension builds up for MONTHS and everyone is sick of it. Even Kalim doesn't know wtf to do cause they both know the feelings are mutual but instead of just dating they turned it into a competition.

The reader breaks first. They're cooking together and in this moment of domestic bliss the reader just goes "fuck it, I can't take this anymore. Jamil I'm in love with you and I want to date you."

Cue blushy Jamil crouching with his head in his hands because on one hand he technically won but they did it so nonchalantly it doesn't feel like a victory. The reader then teases him even more by leaving pecks all over his face.

Scenario 2: Fell first, fell harder. Reader fell first and spent months pining. Jamil fell hard enough to kill on impact but forgot that denial is a river in Egypt. Jamil is so deep in denial that he pulls a Kalim and is willfully oblivious to it. Cue poor reader suffering in the background.

Eventually, the reader is so sick of it they just confess expecting to be rejected: "Jamil, I'm in love with you. You don't have to answer, I just want you to know."

Cue Jamil freezing as he goes through the 5 stages of grief:

Denial: What no! They can't be- they have to be lying! I kidnapped for seven's sake! No way I like them either! We're just friends!

Anger: Fuck they're being honest! Shiiiiiit!

Barganing: Surley, this is some elaborate joke! Please let it be joke! Don't give me hope like this!

Depression: God . . . they love me . . . I can't just subject them to my life like this . . . I care about them too much

Acceptance: Fuuuuuuck! They love me . . . I'm in love with them, aren't? Fuck, fuck, fuck! I love them so much! I want to give them everything! I want their smile, I want their laughter, I want their hugs, their kisses, everything!

Bonus: if we don't kiss/get married in the next 10 seconds I'll overblot again.

After 3 minutes of staring off into space while reader is worridly trying to get his attention, Jamil snaps out of it and kisses them.

Unfortunately I’m not familiar with the thing you're referring to in the first scenario but yes I love these both.

Also for scenario 1: confessing requires being vulnerable and who’s gonna do that? Not these two, apparently.

Though I’m all for both scenarios ending with a flustered Jamil because yes please delicious (even if it’d be kinda suffering to be in the reader’s shoes at those moments, especially the second one).

Oof poor reader with the second one tho. Here you are, just laying it out there to finally maybe get past it (or whatever), only to just be met with a bluescreening Jamil. Like, they probably expected to be brushed off or something, instead get Jamil looking at them like they just grew a third head or something.

Those five stages of grief, tho… What a silly goober he is (affectionate).

And that bonus… Hasdfjs I love it so much.

randy gradient tests & findings

hey guys ive been experimencing with new gradient techniques to get phun-nu-FX (fun new effects) and i have some pretty cooll stuff to share

i explained how 2 make a gradient >>>here in this post<<< so employ that tek here

spray can haze

this is something that looks fuckt when you set it up but really delivers. using spraycan to "blur out" the gradient gives it this layered, grainy FX. you can put lines of other colurs in with the spray brush to add interesting tints to the haze. i used this on my recent snow drawin for the sky with white+light blue.

crayon sunset

usin the crayon for this gives a softer effect w less scanline-y a texture. its very soft and pretty. i personally prefer this over using the paintbrushes for gradience because i literally just dont like mspaints "paintbrushes". do what you want tho

i realy encourage messin around with this and seeing what you can make

width makes columns

so the standard 4 the gradient method is to reduce the width to 1px then resize to orignal. well, its also pretty fun to mess with diff widths cus you can get some interesting abstract shit.

this is what happens if you set the width as 5px instead of 1px. you get 5 equal-size columns that kinda deconstruct ur image. its very interesting

here is the last gradient design if i also did 5px width to it. you can get a bunch of gradients from one gradient basically

i thought this was worth sharing because well its fun to look at & think about

rainbow art +

rainbow art is cool as fuck. rainbow art is what icall it when you make a fun gradient and shift+drag it to use it as its own brush

you can make really cool+nasty backgrounds using rainbow art over itself like this kinda ocean-y pattern. i included what my "rainbow art brush" looked like to make it

well i hope this helps you to think about fun ways to use mspaint to its full potention. its a very fun thing to do. take care
