LIKE GUYS. STEPPING AWAY FROM THE ART FOR A SEC… The music??? The sound design??? The sound of the lights shutting off at the end of round 6 just shoots me in the heart like they shot Ivan dead on stage.

The lyricism???? SO GOOD????? Round 6 lyricism actually has so many parallels and symbolism, Till sings “let me drown in you” or something AND THEN IT STARTS FUCKING RAINING AT THE END.

THE ACTUAL CONTENT AND THEMATIC IDEAS???? Round 7’s song’s theme was actually so insanely profound; THEY WAY I JUST KNOW SO MUCH THOUGHT AND PASSION WAS PUT INTO LITTLE DETAILS LIKE WHO SANG WHICH LINES IN THE SONGS!!!!! WHY THEY WROTE THE LYRICS THE WAY THEY DID!!!!! THE PACING AND CUTS OF ROUND 7 ARE SO FAST AND YOU BARELY GRASP WHAT’S ON SCREEN BEFORE—IN A BLINK!!!!—gone. guys it’s so fucking meta

THE TONE AND ARC OF THE STORYLINE IS INSANE. My Clematis (MiziSua song in round 1) is a distinct, stand-alone song genre and musicality-wise and it punches me in the gut so hard because they are just emphasizing THE SHIT out of the truly unique, pure nature of MiziSua’s love. There is no other song like My Clematis in any of the other rounds because there is no other love like Mizi’s and Sua’s anywhere in Alien Stage.
