yarn sale, i got over 40$ of yarn for only 12 👍😭😭😭✌️ 💚💚💚

#other #t talks #going back tomorrow to get even more yarn #that shit was a dollar each!!!#some were even less #got 1 skein only 50cents #i kept my cool tho #stuck to the master plan (no unplanned single skeins)#only bought sweater quantities + some i want to accent the big yarns #ok i dont 100% stick to the master plan #there were some 80cent skeins that i know will be Perfect for socks tho #so it doesnt count #but tomorrow i already know what yarn i want to buy #since its going to be for a planned projects #i still dont plan to start these projects till after i finish some of the ones i already got ofc #but there in the queue now :)#cause the yarn is 1 dollar each :)#its hobby lobby btw #i dont normally shop there. but. i saw a tiktok from a crocheter saying theyre having a huge sale #n i was hoping to get some of the wool yarn before it was all gon #but alas...#still lots of options for the acrylics tho!

this is not one of the like 5 video projects I'm supposed to be finishing, this is an animatic meme that I'm pretty sure is still going around which I didn't wanna miss like last time I missed an animatic meme(it still sits in my WIP folder. it's been 3 years) so yes that's why it exists. and also because I'm kinda shocked I haven't seen it yet. sorry if it HAS been made.

#god I wanted to finish this so much earlier like 3 days ago atleast but i kept getting busy(am happy tho)#and THEN it turns out that you can't just skip down the happy rainbow path when rendering a video from krita. no you gotta download this #extension that goes into your folder that you move and then download the other thing and then you go back to the project and check this box #and then it STILL doesn't work so you look yp video tutorials and give up on that method resorting to exporting all the individual frames #and combining them and the audio in premier adjusting the video time as such cause it was too fast(so I apologize if the lip syncing is #annoying. it was meant to be fun....)#but. anyway. that doesn't matter. What’s your go to Luo Binghe character design? Curly hair, brown eyes, tall, horns, straight hair, red eyes, claws? I’m curious, just *how* demon is he?

generally i picture him like the english/russian edition designs (aka, the fanon binghe with curly/fluffy hair) but the other details i pick and choose depending on setting or AU, tbh.

i like the idea that his eyes are a warm brown that glints red in different lighting or when he's worked up or using his demon powers, and i'm a BIG fan of giving him large, curling ram's horns along with pointed ears and little fangs and claws - but they aren't details that i default to imagining him with.

mostly because i think that if binghe did possess more physically demonic features, it would be a whole Thing he'd have to work through (i.e. "my REAL appearance is so clearly demonic, maybe it would remind shizun why he threw me away, etc etc"). after all, his own plan to be re-accepted by sqq was to blend in to huan hua and "prove" that he was a righteous cultivator that could live among humans - so naturally more visible demonic features would be something that he'd also want to repress, perhaps even in extreme ways if illusions couldn't cover it.

that isn't something that i always want to make space for in my own AUs, though, so i tend to only indulge in more demonic looking bingys when either a) i know i'll already be in the same wheelhouse as binghe's insecurities around his heritage or b) it's an AU that's so divorced from canon that the insecurities may not exist at all.

i will admit to having a history of commissioning art that specifically calls out more demonic features, though - especially some big curving ram's horns 😌

#art is so cool bc you don't have to explain any of the context #why does he have ram's horns? wouldn't that affect xyz and mean abc and -#shhhhh it's just a single image don't think about it #ALSO while i'm on the topic tho can i just say. as someone who was in this fandom long before 7s ever even announced the eng ed of svsss #the absolute DIVINE MIRACLE it felt like to see that first english edition cover art #and go “oh my god they're giving us official art of curly haired binghe”#which until that point had been a fanon thing!#it had been my preference the whole time because i just naturally imagined binghe as being fluffy while reading #sqq kept calling him a little sheep - what else was i supposed to imagine !!!!#anyway it was a beautiful day for me seeing that official english cover even if it made others unhappy #nyoomerr ask
