Do you think that Snape, after being yelled at by McGonagall for showing her attitude and somehow the fight escalating to their past when Snape was a child, and told that if he was actually traumatised by her actions, he'd be afraid of her, not rude to her, would lock himself in his room and cry, cry, cry, because despite the fact that he fought back and screamed that he IS traumatised, that she DID hurt him by not being there, that she IS responsible for him being this way, he isn't sure? Because every single person around him tells him that he's the problem. That he's rude. That it's his fault the other party was offended. Even though he didn't mean to be rude, he was just being him, but surely he's the problem if everyone's saying it? Or maybe he's surrounded by the wrong people? Or maybe he is wrong, and he is a horrible person, he is a piece of trash, he's wrong and just stubborn?

Do you think that sometimes he doesn't even know if he's right or wrong? That he doesn't even care, all he knows is that he's so, so angry, he's in so, SO much pain, he wants to scream, he wants to cry, it all hurts and no one's coming to make it better and he can never get it out, he can never truly vocalise it because the words won't come, and he looks hysterical, insane, and selfish.

He's just tired.

#kirby series #kirby gijinka #master crown monday #master crown #magolor #traitor magolor #technically this is AU content. or it was originally #i came up with some ideas for a fairytale/fantasy/fable au #basically what if triple deluxes aesthetic went on steroids and also applied to other games!#magolor is indeed based on the beast (as in beauty and the beast) but there isnt really a 1 to 1 for beauty #(yes ive been known to depict him smooching the science lady but id want her to be her own thing. maybe like. mulan or something?)#the crown itself i see as some sort of dragon/trickster demon archetype (just that this one was shoved into a hat)#that little imp/devil you know you do NOT want to set free but that will entice you anyway #this design has grown on me. i dont mind it for main universe traitor magolor #but it might be a little TOO far on the animalistic side. i dunno. i would want it to show a bit of the crowns influence creeping in...#and GENERALLY speaking i see the crowns aesthetic as leaning more toward demonic/angelic than traditionally beast-like #yet theres definitely a strong animalistic element to it as well #particularly with those big talons #but for example... fur. whiskers. thats magolors thing not the crown. Barou HAS ALL THE EQUIPMENT FOR HIM. The team, the scheme, the plays, the plays, it's all for him.

Rin has a system for him. And the PXG team does not refuse to pass it on. Tokimitsu, Nanase and others are his allies.

Kaiser literally had Ness and he had Grimm. Grimm is out.

And you can't see how much the players defended Kaiser. Lorenzo, Aiku, Sendou, Aryu, Fukaku. Super goal. Shidou, Karasu, Tokimitsu, Nanase and others? and fail.

Who players defended isagi? Ah, "YES, THE TWO RANDOM PXG THAT CAN'T DEFEND. YES, ISAGOAT IS BETTER THAN KAISER!" Literally, Isagi's three objectives at NEL are: -Depends on an ally (or two, or more). -Depends on stupid mistakes by the defense (like not having physical contact and not moving).

I'm going to give you a simple example of why Isagi's performance, in the eyes of those who DO NOT REASON, seems greater: because Kaiser is on the team. If you take out the team's biggest threat, someone has to replace him. Isagi can't do it. He doesn't have the physique, the resources, the precision, or anything like that. When Barcelona had Messi, Messi was the main focus of the defenders, it was even natural for other big clubs to admit that he was going to score goals for them, they studied it in practice before because they wanted to TRY to defend him, and they were never able to cancel it out. And Messi had the team in his favor (It is not a disdain, obviously the best player in history deserves that, it is logical to play for the best on your team, in the end everyone wants to win).

If you have Kaiser, and you know that his kick is synonymous with a goal, you have to AT LEAST put three defenders on him. And AT LEAST you are going to leave two other players more or less free, but it will hurt you in the end.

An entertaining exercise to see the performance of Kaiser and Isagi is to see what would have happened, if, for example, Kaiser had not been a participant in the duel against Manshine, or Ubers. Spoiler: they would have lost brutally. Several performances in defense and attack were generated by him. In fact, he scored a goal in both games.

Reading books about psychology and society and politics and such is fun because it really does hammer in that we have been having the exact same arguments for centuries, just wearing slightly different hats and different standards of what is or is not "normal" or "okay" to say

#we speak #reading a book on masculine identity from the year 1991. we really have been doing this for decades huh #“it is depressing to realize that nearly 40 years after the kinsey report attitudes on homosexuality have remained so hostile”#like yeah buddy we feel that way too #“i feel like some of these men are engaging in relationships because they feel the need for a more emotional connection”#“but they do not feel comfortable seeking that out from companions they do not share a romantic connection with”#yeah buddy youre feeling the effects of amatonormativity. that term hasnt been coined for you yet but youll enjoy it probably #its been 30 years and “men bottle up their emotions so that they can feel more masculine and less vulnerable”#is still like. The Big Thing. and yeah theres still weird cultural junk that insists you arent a man if youre too soft #this particular book takes the stance that masculinity is constructed and femininity is a more “default” state #but we think its less that and more like. both of these concepts of genders are constructed.#neither is necessarily more “natural” than the other but both come with baggage that will fuck with you one way or the other #something we've observed a lot is like. whether you conform or not the overarching gendered-ness of things #still causes trauma to people just by like. virtue of existing. virtue of telling people what the “right” way to be is #in a field that is primarily like. personality. feeling. what you enjoy doing or presenting like.#making categories for things that don't necessarily need to be categorized #we dunno. we think that if the guy who wrote this book didnt die in 2017 we would probably get along pretty well with him #he seems like a chill dude

Soda sighed dreamily, before giggling to himself and writing. The theatrics were already in play.

It was great! I mean, we went to the movies, got to know each other a little bit more — y'know, aside from just our favorite sodas, we chatted it up.

Nothing super crazy date wise. Cola's a real cool gal. And I mean like, she's 'tough' kind of cool. She seemed to dig me, and I sure as hell digged her. Sooo... who knows. ;D

Maybe there'll be a second one sometime!

Aside from the actual date itself, everything else was good... uh, aside from Steve. Apparently when he decided he was gonna run off after stealing a beer and chugging it like nothing, he was tipsy and feeling dumb.

Had I had known he was gonna start bein' a mess, I wouldn'ta taken him. But I didn't know he had been a mess until just earlier this morning when I took an early drive and found him slumpt in someone's car on the side of the road in front of a night bar.

He didn't even get there from the car! I guess he just wanted somewhere to lay down, because he was hurtin' real bad. And he had been walking the entire night, and I guess whoever owned the car had also been busy all night.

I'm just thankful I found him. God forbid he could've gotten into more trouble if he stayed there when the person owning the car found him sleepin' there.

Soda sighed as he thought about it, looking out the window to stare out at the truck which still occupied a tired Steve.

But it was good last night. Before Steve up and ran off, we all talked good and had fun. I know I sure did at least!
