I was bored and looking for fanfics to read, and I stumble across one (mind you, it’s supposed to be a crack fic) where they pose the idea of g1 Starscream secretly being a megop kid

And now I can’t unsee it

I mean, he is red, blue and light grey like a combo of them, and he also at least gives me the impression that he’s a lot younger than them

And also looking at the three of them, I kind of see it

The things that don’t look similar are just jet things, which neither of them are. And yeah, him being a jet would be a detractor from this idea, but who knows, maybe alt modes aren’t genetic in this hypothetical scenario

Also another thing the fic brought up is that Megatron never just kills Starscream despite his constant treachery. I think that’s different by the movie, but whatever

I know it’s stupid and I don’t really believe it, and this would only be specifically in g1 (because god knows it doesn’t work in other continuities), but now it’s in my brain and I need other people to know about it

Adding more to my G1 TFA au! Since canonically Blitzy wasn’t a triple changer originally and in my au he started off as a tank, it doesn’t make sense for him to be called Blitzwing, so maybe I’ll call him Blitzkrieg?

Anyway, Astrotrain and Blitzy were massive bros during the war. Menaces! After the war ended there were still lingering skirmishes and I imagine it was in one of those that Blitzy got caught in some shit and basically got broken. Which lead to him being a good candidate for Blackarachnia’s experiments.

As for Astrotrain? 🤫 we shall see where my brain takes this…

Whether he's on patrol, watching the monitors, inputting data, or spending some much needed time having fun, Ironhide's finding it hard not to think about you. He won't even touch the topic of his dreams, trying to erase them completely from his databanks without having to go to Ratchet. He can't let you know how you've affected him. He can just imagine the smug, haughty look on your face already, the way your lips would curl up in that insufferable way they do when you're clearly on his last nerve as the humans say.

He's dealt with plenty of mechs like you, arrogant and hotheaded, but none that rile him up in the way you do. Frustration and annoyance have become like best friends in his day-to-day life during the war, but not this particular heat in his energon lines. He hates brats like you, but Ironhide can't deny the enticing jut of your lips; the way you lean on one leg, hands on your hip armor, attractive in a way few things are for him anymore.

More than once, he's thought about putting that bratty mouth to good use. The only mech you seem to actually respect is Optimus, looking up to him with clear admiration, could he get you to look up at him, too? Could he get a clear and obedient "yes, sir" from your vocalizer? Or perhaps another designation would suit your mouth better. He shouldn't indulge the thought more than he has, but the idea of you looking up at him with coy interest and a tinge of shame is too tantalizing. Your protests to his interest all but forgotten when he finally has you wrapped around his spike, brattily demanding he give you more as if you weren't previously mortified at the idea.

Ironhide tries to shove the fantasies aside, but you seek him out like an annoying little fly in his periphery: your smug smile thrown over your shoulder pauldron as you pass him. No matter how much he denies it, you two seem to be on a crash course towards his most shameful desires.
