I think if marcille opened her mind a little beyond her mild butchphobia she'd honestly find postcanon more masc-presenting Falin SO hot like... Falin travelling the world and bringing her gifts from faraway countries, climbing in through her window late at night upon return to see her before anyone else. Concept: elf tav who is just under 300, all of her children died as adventurers or guards. Her husband and her became vastly different people in the wake of all the grief. They havent spoken in years, incapable of existing around each other before breaking down. The journey after the crash she keeps seeing shadows her kids in the various party members and as such she desperately wants to help them. Save them in ways she couldn't for her own children. A pillar of love and guidance because her children may be gone, but she will always be a mother.

I finally made the redesign of one of my Ocs, after spending my time daydreaming with her lore

Her name is Melone Yugjin, she's from a specie of ocean pest (they eat everything that moves, edible or not)

Speaking about some details, the bite off fin is from when she hatched, one of her siblings ate her ear off, well, she ate him back but whatever, that's life (no, that's not a trauma for her)

The tag in her ear is a sign that she passed the period of education in learning how to live in a society, it means she's less likely to keep killing everything

This is all superficial and she got more depths, so please don't mistake her as "oho edge monster blood kill kill"

Also also, here's how she first looked like (those are her first drawing from 2021):

Bland and boring, like unseasoned food, only personality? Shy and keychan, she was just someone friend with no backstory or anything at her own, my other Oc, Mori, was like a savior for a bunch of Ocs from the same world (one got kind of villainized and i got fix that), everyone got their own worth when she arrived (i mean as in the creative process and not inside the story)

on the topic of my nihility!aventurine au, but nihility's connection with losing bits of yourself is so fun. like, memory, taste, fear, i'd argue also hearing, sight, speech, belief, touch/physical sensations, etc.

so in context of nihility!aven, i was contemplating what the best option would be for him to lose— it needs to affect him thematically and in his day to day life, but i still wanted to keep his cultural connections (ie not losing memory or belief) and i realized i was already making connections to the stellaron hunters with his group, so... fear!

it'd be such a fascinating thing for aven to lose because his fear is so interconnected with his belief system. he inadvertently prays every time he takes a risky gamble, and his whole shaking hand thing directly correlates to his fear of this being the last time the gaiathra triclops will close her eyes for him.

so even if aven doesn’t lose his belief in his goddess, by losing his fear he’s losing that ability to pray naturally to her. he doesn’t have a reason to be afraid of losing/afraid his goddess' blessing will be lost because he can’t feel fear. so aven, here, has to want to believe and want to create a synthetic/his own personal relationship to his goddess outside his gambling as a result. i guess his belief would look more ‘traditional’ in a sense as a result— taking time to pray every day, setting up something in his house to remember, recreating cultural practices that he half-remembers, if only to not lose that connection.
