I held you when you first were forged,

A brilliant spark; this war-torn world

Was far too dark to hold your light

I feared, I did, that blackest night

Would snuff the beacon, newly warmed...

Thus, I vowed to keep you secure.

I held you when you learned to fight;

When your gun’s kick threw off your sights,

I kept you steady on your feet,

Directing you to boldly greet

The same courage a soldier arms

oh my godddd did another art class today at work (tracing witch head silhouettes onto canvas and painting it all), and the cutest lil girl came in w her mom. she was like, 6, and was not shy at ALL, like, i’d ask, do you want me to do this for you, or do you want to do it yourself? and she’d say, you can watch what i’m going to do! or when i stood up to give her room!!! she patted the chair and looked up at me and very seriously said, you can sit down. sit! or my other favorite, i said isnt painting nice? it’s relaxing! and she said NO! and mom said it’s not relaxing? and she said yeah….i don’t know. it’s a lot, i mean there’s six colors in there.

Today had a dream where the mechs were like, I think at my school? Or some event in my town? But like, they weren't Jonathan Sims and Tim Ledsam etc playing their characters, they were literally the immortal murder pirates hanging out in my area. I remember there were, of course, Jonny and Tim, but also Brian, Marius and I think Ivy? I don't remember most of the details of what was happening, but there was an event where people would watch something, a play, movie, some sports, idk, all that's important is that mechs were also in the audience and I didn't even know until I sat at my place and realized the guys next to me are Tim and Jonny. And because it's a dream and unrealistically good things happen I said hi to them and we were sitting together talking for a while and Tim lent me a hair tie and I was very awkward, pretty much the same like I'd be in real life but they were both really cool and Tim would get low-key flirty with me so.
