i think now is a good time to remember that normal was decently close to tony pepperoni with their horrible rivalry over the school and also that he had to be physically held back by willy to stop him from healing tony when he died and he never got closure for it and in fact tried voicing his own thoughts and got shut down very hard by the other teens. i always think about this but i think we should remember

Thing is, Henry is in love with Will, too. Just because there are a host of reasons he's able to be more outwardly normal about it (actually having a happy marriage, being further to the middle of the Kinsey scale, tons of willful repression and denial, and subconsciously being assured of Will's feelings for him in return) does not mean he is not down horrendous. If left for too long with this own thoughts, things can and will get weird.

Any time Will demonstrates how much trust he places in Henry, Henry's head fucking spins. It makes him feel so important, so strong, like he wants to build a tower around Will to keep the world away. It frightens him if he dwells on it, so he very much does not, goes out of his way to project every appearance of the opposite, but it's there, and if Will leans on him even a little, it bubbles to the surface. Oh, yes, Papa Bear will protect his little bunny and all his secrets, don't you worry.

Currently have a callus on my toe and am favoring one foot because of that. Thought about how in the wild I’d be targeted by predators for that, so I tried to walk on it normally to see if I could hide it if I had needed to. Apparently, I am Louis from Beastars. This reminded me of when a friend of mine told me that she admires the way I hold myself. I was surprised, for I have always seen myself more like a deer, or a squirrel perhaps, quick to startle, always sniffing the air and testing the ground, afraid of its own shadow and never sure if its next steps will be its last. Perhaps my friend has misjudged me, as she is somehow much shorter than even I, and thus, everyone must look imposing to her.

Or perhaps what my friend sees is real. That doesn’t necessarily mean I am wrong about myself. For a confident appearance can often be nothing but a mask, an overcompensation for hidden insecurity.

Either way, I wish I had told her that perhaps I hold myself with this confidence that she apparently sees in me because I actually lack confidence. My composure is a bluff: the best method of victory; if you can persuade the other side that you are not worth the trouble of fighting at all, you will lose nothing. Conversely, the elk that limps is always the first to die.

Danny is a good doctor. Almost freakishly so. His ability to treat metas and nonhumans is unparalleled. There doesn't seem to be an anatomy he doesn't understand. More than that, there doesn't seem to be a language he doesn't know, his ability to speak to people in their native tongues being something that endeared him to the public. The Bats have tried looking into him, but so far there is an almost disturbing lack of information on the good doc. He’s young. Almost too young for someone with an advanced doctorate. Sometimes, people will bring him food as thanks, the general public being deeply concerned about his near skeletal thinness.

The people of Gotham could do nothing but watch in horror as the Joker killed Dr. Fenton on live TV. The doctor had moved to Gotham a little over a year ago and quickly made a name for himself by setting up clinics and shelters in the seedier parts of the city. Many had warned him of the dangers, of the criminals that would potentially target him but he didn't listen. He continued his work and soon wormed his way into the hearts of many. That's why he made a great target for the Crown Prince of Crime. Because his death would be absolutely devastating.

And it was, until someone pointed out that the good doctor seemed to be twitching behind the Joker as his gloated to the camera. That twitching soon because full on squirming and the citizens could only watch in shocked curiosity as Dr. Fenton eventually twisted out of his restraints. Then he bent down to pick up a metal pipe lying on the ground and crept towards the Joker. Understandably, many were terrified. Why wasn't the doctor using this chance to get away? People began screaming at the screens for him to escape but he just got closer. Finally he was right behind his captor and brought the pipe over his head. In one fell swoop he brought the pipe down with a satisfying crack that all could hear.

"I usually keep pretty strictly to my hippocratic oath," Dr. Fenton said. "But for you, I'm willing to make an exception."

He then proceeded to drag the Joker out of frame by the collar. The live feed ended soon after. Later, when the police arrived. Dr. Fenton was found causally sitting on some steps outside the warehouse. As they got closer, they realized the steps were actually the Joker, alive albeit barely.

I forgot to post the M&Ms (Myeong-suk, Nerea, Min-Jun)

The twins were both taken by Nerea after being abandoned by their mother at ~5/6 years old. She has been their big sister ever since. The second picture was the first one she took with them, at a new home she took for her and the kids.

It's...a bit off-colour, but they dye their hair blonde (more like neon yellow lol) because of her. Myeong-suk's idea, and Min-Jun follows because he's didn't have that strong of an opinion on it

Sadly she is practically immortal and they'll pass before her :(

I need your help with a hypothesis!

For context: My linguistics professor and I got into a discussion after a test she did with us, and I was of the opinion that the reason for the results was different from the one she offered, so she encouraged me to test my theory.

What I need

All you need to do is draw a coffee cup (with a handle, not the disposable stuff) and then answer three questions.

I don't need to see the coffee cup. You can draw it wherever you like; on a piece of paper, digitally, in the sand, on a foggy window. Anything works. It does not have to be good. A doodle is fine.

You have to draw the coffee cup before you see the questions. This is very important. If you decide to help me with this, please doodle the coffee cup before you keep reading.

Assuming you have drawn the coffee cup, I now need you to answer these three questions:

On which side did you draw the handle?

Are you right-handed or left-handed?

Do you primarily write using the Latin alphabet or a different one? (please specify which)

More context

Most people will draw the handle on the right side. My professor says it's because most people are right-handed, so they draw the handle in the direction that would be comfortable for them to pick up.

I said drawing it on the right side just felt more comfortable to my hand and argued it's probably because we write a bunch of letters like that. B, b, D, P, p, R all look like a tiny "handle on the right side" and are all a straight line followed by a round one (so "cup first, handle second," like most people draw cups). The Latin alphabet doesn't have letters like that that face the other way, except maybe d, depending on how you write it, so it makes sense to me that people writing mostly Latin letters would go with the handle on the right side.

Which means that I need to know what Asians, Arabs and Greeks do and if the distribution of left and right sides of handles differs from the Latin alphabet group. Cyrillic seems to favor right, too, though it'd be interesting to see if there are differences.

If there are, my theory is right. Doubly so if there is a sizeable increase in a group whose alphabet has letters that benefit the left side choice.

So feel free to spread this to as many people as you like and put the answers in the comments or the tags of a reblog. The more answers I get, the better I can assess whose theory is better.
