The stress and grief we feel over losing a job we loved is only reminding me of my grief for my children. I miss training with my eldest, and i miss the laughter of my youngest as they play in the waters. I miss the reserved smile of my brother as he watches them play.

Do they remind him of me and elia at that age? He was a man grown by then. I admit i never once considered who i would leave behind if i died, i did not once consider that i would truly die. I knew logically my beloved ellaria would be inconsolable, but the pain and horror on her face when i watched my death on screen stabbed a hole through my heart. still yet i did not consider my brother in this, nor anyone else. A man who lost two siblings in infancy, who did not hope for elia to survive her premature birth because to hope is to be hurt, who then endured her death and the aftermath, including mine. The eldest of us all, yet the last one left. Our parents long gone, his offspring still but children. He was always calm, steady, like a rock in a stream. even when he was made angry, when he shouted, it was not with the same viciousness as other men.. I was selfish, and i took him and his counsel for granted.

thinking about a Damian who was raised his entire life hearing how much he looks like his Father, how he's the blood son, how he's better than any other child Bruce Wayne has taken in, starting to buy into it like a kid does, only to hit puberty and turn out looking like 80% Talia.

There’s a very easy way to get around the fact that Assad is unable to pass for a teeenager if the show wants to adapt TVA and that’s to rely on the theme of unreliable narration. Armand begins retelling his history and according to him, he looked like he was in his early adulthood. No older than twenty four, for sure, but also not any younger than twenty. And then, just when the audience has bought it, just when this version of events has been presented as the truth for long enough, someone questions it. Asks if he really looked like that. Asks if he’s being honest with himself. And for the briefest moment, we flashback to Amadeo, the age he was when Marius first saw him. Beaten, shackled, afraid. And undeniably a child.

#allows you to have a TVA storyline where an age appropriate performer is acting it all out #since we CANNOT have Armand’s story portrayed by an actual child #but you just know Armand imagines himself as an adult. he blames himself. he was grown he had agency #but the truth is he was a child. a child who was abused and assaulted and forced to endure horror on horror #and this way you get the story AND the impact of ‘oh. you were a child. this happened to you and you were a child’#and you know he’s lying but this time it’s sympathetic to him. he lies because he has to #because admitting the truth will just shatter him #and I don’t think it should be Daniel to say ‘that’s not true. is it?’#(personally I think it should be Louis. who knows him so incredibly well. and that can be the place for forgiveness #for a reminder that Armand is horrible because of the horrors. and Louis accepting that and being properly let in for the first time.#77 years but only now and here is when I properly see you. and now we can love each other right.)#iwtv #interview with the vampire #Armand #tva #the vampire armand

Saying Sorry Will Never Be Enough

Feeling a bit angsty so I had this idea.

Danny is dating one of the Bats/Birds, and everything is going great, amazing even! They know each other secrets (from powers to everything etc), they have a wonderful place to live (even if its in Gotham), Danny is in college on the way to becoming a space engineer (and he does side jobs for unrestful ghosts), he's actually getting sleep again since leaving Amity Park, gets along with their friends and family (those who Danny or his partner still talk to, up to the writer), there is even talk about marriage and perhaps adoption/kids in the future between Danny and the Bat/Bird he's dating!

Everything is setting up for a good life in his future, something Danny didn't think could have after his accident. He was happy finally, and currently packing up his old apartment because he's moving in with his partner in a few days.

So he felt like his core was being pulled out of him when he opens his apartment door one day receiving a knock to find his parents, who had hadn't seen since they kicked him out of the house after coming clean about being Phantom (their words of anger and denial that their son was 'dead' and now a monster, still hurt)

Sure they didn't attack him or proclaim he's dead but still their last words and anger HURT.

Danny didn't give them a chance to open their mouths, both looking nervous and guilty, before he slams the door close and turns invisible, grabs his phone, and fly's out of his apartment to his partner's place in a panic attack.

His partner, isn't happy.

We had the first big snow of this winter yesterday! So I had to bring some in for the Boys.

Ace has always loved snow (though it didn't snow enough last year to stick), but the baby Cream Puffs (Cody and Rex) were born this past spring, so this is their first time seeing it at all! They don't know how they feel yet ^ ^;

There are some ships that you just know would be 100% canon if they were an M/F ship, and that's mainly what pisses people off the most in these situations.

It isn't just about the ship; it's also very much about the homophobia (whether the creators know it or not) that is preventing the ship from being canon when they otherwise would be.
