Once Upon a Time on the Razor Crest
Summary: First steps to friendship
A/N: Hello lovelies,
I hope everyone had a good week. I just want to put this out there as someone who works in the medical field, please be kind to doctors, nurses, technicians, receptions, and cleaning crews.
Just be kind in general. I had a rough week with a very rude patient. It might not seem like much but after a while it takes a toll. So to everyone and anyone who needs to hear this, thank you for all the hard work you do.
Love oo
Due to the past history of the OC there will be discussions alluding to past domestic abuse, please note that as it could be a trigger for some.
Warnings: discussions of lunch, trying to avoid isolation, mentions of past trauma (blink and you'll miss it), discussions of being dirty (physically), possible mud (use your imagination). If I miss any warnings, please let me know.

THE CRESTWORLD
CHAPTER NINE
As we watched Taika and Misty munching away, it made me remember we needed to eat too, “Din, what do you want for lunch? There’s some leftovers from last night’s dinner or I could make us a sandwich and salad …”
“You know…” he cut her off, realizing he needed to make more of an effort with her.
Sure she was his employee, but he was also the only person she knew out here. Cobb and Fennec were always busy in town and the surrounding areas,  and Fennec had even less time than Cobb, being Boba’s right hand. Then there was Grogu, and as fun and enjoyable he was for a little kid, it wasn’t the same as having someone around her own age to hang out with.
He nodded to himself, resolving he needed to do better, “You did a really good job today, Ann. Looking after Bessie, milking her, noticing there was something off about her. You could’ve easily brushed it off, or not even bothered to tell me about it. But you did, and because you did, I can tell you there will be a new addition to the ranch. Nerfs have a faster gestation than most quadrupeds. We should have a new addition in a month or two depending on if it’s a bull or calf. Not to mention you fed the nunas and collected the eggs, even though I know it freaks you out a little. I even noticed that you stamped the eggs with the date, and put them away. Cleaned out the pens as best you could … before I got here.” He smirked.
I tilted my head to look at him, resting my head on my arms that were propped on the railing of the corral. I didn’t say much, simply looking at him as I narrowed my eyes at Din, “I can’t tell if you’re making fun of me, or if you’re being genuine”
He chuckled, as he glanced over to her, shaking his head. “Genuine, I’m being genuine,” he turned back to look at Taika and Misty, “plus, I owe you for this morning.”
I smirked, focusing back on the horses, “So … does this mean, I’ll get a pay bump?”
“Ha! No.” He stood stretching, “However, I do believe, your good work today, and for my …”
“Assery?”
“That’s not even a word.”
“Words aren’t words, until you start using them more often”
Din shook his head laughing, “Anyway, I do believe this entitles you to lunch on me. How about we go into town for lunch? I know a good restaurant.”
“Oh, um … yeah, I guess…”
He hadn’t expected that reaction, “Do you not want to?” Din glanced over to her.
A thousand scenarios ran through my mind, my biggest concern was bringing danger to this small town, but … Fennec went through a lot to cover my tracks so I could make it here. I couldn’t keep hiding on the ranch like I was. I needed to stop letting my ex dictate terms. I needed to start living again.
I closed my eyes, and reminded myself, I wasn’t that same weak girl, he initially married.
“No. No.” I focused on the landscape before, taking in the beautiful mountains, the crisp air. I was far away from him. “I’m up for going into town. After all, I need to see more of this area, get to know the town and people. As beautiful as this ranch is, I can’t exactly be holed up here forever.”
“No. You can’t” he smiled.
I smirked, as my eyes glanced down, looking over my dirty outfit, “Maybe I should change? Take a shower at least?” My hand subconsciously went to my forehead and hair, wiping away some of the sweat and dirt.
Din shrugged, “You can if you want to but there’s no need, we’re going to a diner, not some fancy five-star high-end Coruscant restaurant. Plus this is a farming town, we’re all used to being a little dirty.”
“Hmmm … Well, I guess, if you’re going like that” I motioned to his shirt, “then I guess I can go like this” I motioned to my less than stellar outfit.
“What’s wrong with what I’m wearing?” He looked down, sure there was dirt, hay, dust, some grass strains, and something … he hoped but wasn’t entirely sure was mud. The more he thought about it, the more he changed his opinion, “You know, now that you mention it, maybe a change of shirt wouldn’t be the worst thing.”
I chuckled, nodding in agreement, as he tried to flick a nondescript dark matter off his shirt towards me. I squealed, flinching away from him, increasing the distance between us. “Hey …” I held up my finger as I moved further away, “I’ll have you know, I have enough of my own questionable dark matter on me, I don’t need to take on yours, too.” I shouted over to him, when I was far enough away and headed back into the house.
Din watched as she headed back to the house, slipping off her boots before she went in.
He stood in the open glancing over to the pens, the horses grazing, and Bessie chewing away as she stood there looking at him, and he couldn’t remember a time he felt this content from cleaning the pens and grooming Taika and Misty. He shook his head, pushing his thoughts aside as he headed into the house to change.

here to ask u abt irenor… i’ve never heard of the ship before but i’d love to hear u explain it and break it down for me. my main question is how their relationship would work/come about, but my secondary question is who is the better chef between the two? I think cooking with/for ppl is such a sick form of intimacy so that’s why I ask.
quick disclaimer that I don't actually know enough detailed history about these two yet, I just have 2 scenarios that are giving me brain rot. I also don't use canon Ireland, I use an oc named Molly that I can't even particularly claim as my own.
okay but, they would probably hate each other at first, yknow when Sigurd is doing normal vikings raids on the coast (he was about 20, she was 21-22). I don't think they ever actually ran into each other during this time, they just knew of each others existence and decided to hate each others guts.
Now, I like to think about the time Dublin was settled was actually the end of Sigurd's raiding days. Like, there was still raiding going on in Ireland but he no longer wanted to take part. It was then, that the two of them met.
"You committed murder, arson, and thievery!"
"But I don't anymore!!!"
it took like two years for them to actually have a conversation that wasn't yelling.
anywho on Molly's side of things after about a year she just found him annoying, personifications have seen so much shit she got over Sigurd's own-partaking in the raids pretty quickly. They become kinda psuedo friends, as Sigurd is hanging around more and more with the more Norwegians that settle in Ireland. (also Molly thinks he's hot but that's a side note).
Tbh I don't actually know how/when they fell for each other and confessed but it happened at some point.
The first scene I have brain rot for is actually right here! I just adore them way back in the day having soft mornings together, (and considering like hc Iceland and Faroe Islands as their children) them teasingly arguing about who has to get out of bed first to get the baby. If I were to write it the decline in their relationship would absolutely be shown in how they interact when they first wake up going from "Good morning, I love you, I can't wait to spend all day with you, stay in bed I'll get Ida" to just... silence.
the second one I haven't written out, but I would like to if I can find time. Them both living in the US in the 1850s. Though Molly spends most her time on the East Coast and Sigurd spends his in the Midwest, they can't completely avoid running into each other once or twice. That once or twice sparks something fueled by loneliness, sentimentality, homesickness, and the need to control something. There's no real feelings in the relationship, it's very much for old times sake, they were never officially together again and they never officially broke up again. Sigurd went back to Norway, Molly fell in love with Lorenzo. And it was over.
They're friends now, and they kind of ignore their past relationships, do their best to co-parent the two now-adult children they had together. Sometimes they'll fall back into an 'what could have been' state (especially when they meet in Dublin); but it never lasts long. They're happy as friends now. They were in love, they aren't anymore, that's okay.
For the second answer, they both have pretty eccentric food tastes so I guess it really depends. I would have to say Molly though, and really because of time period when they were together she did most the cooking. Although if they were together in modern day it would probably be a pretty 50/50 split.

A Romantic Past
Summary:
Agent Darcy Callaway is a member of the team protecting Chuch Bartowski. What happens when she is reunited with an old flame/ex-teacher Roan Montgomery? This story spans both episodes John Larroquette was featured in. Roan Montgomery x OC
Chapter 2
A few hours later Chuck, Sarah, and Darcy were standing in the main room of Chuck’s home while Casey was observing them from his own when Roan walked down the stairs sober and sexy.
“I’m guessing you’ve brought me here to help you catch Sasha Banacheck. She won’t be duped by any mere man. She’ll only be duped by someone who she could never suspect was an agent of the CIA,” Roan began before he noticed Darcy, “Hello, Agent Callaway. May I have a moment of your time?”
Darcy inhaled deeply through her nose, “I suppose, if you must,” she agreed as she followed him back upstairs to the guest bedroom. “What can I do for you?” she inquired once they were behind closed doors while trying her hardest not to reminisce too deeply on her memories of their many times together.
Roan moved closer to her, placing his hand on her waist, “I’ve missed you, Ms. Callaway. I am hopeful that you missed me too,” he whispered as he leaned in toward her ear.
“Are you planning to use the techniques you trained me with to seduce me?” she replied while taking a few steps back, attempting to keep herself together and resist his advances, even though she really didn’t want to. “You know you got me in a lot of trouble with my boss during our little romance. I wasn’t aware of your history with her,” she added, hoping the awkwardness of bringing up the General would help her case.
He continued moving closer to her, moving his hand from her waist down to her backside, “I am aware that my history with Diane may have caused you some trouble, but I hope not so much that you would be willing to resist me forever. You are the only among all of my many conquests who truly made me feel like there might be something to the emotion of ‘love’ that so many chases after,” he confessed, causing her to scoff.
“I’m sure you say that to all the girls,” Darcy responded, her voice becoming more breathy than she’d like to admit to. “Why don’t you just help us with this mission and forget about any of the histories we’ve shared? Can you do that?” she nearly pleaded as she felt herself weakening under his assault.
Roan let out a deep sigh, “You have every reason to believe that I say that to all the women I’ve been with, but you’re wrong. There has always been something about you that I haven’t been able to find with anyone else. You don’t have to believe me if you don’t want to,” he countered as he pressed his lips gently to her neck, “But, I know it’s the truth. For me, that’s all that matters. Now, can we please reconnect the way that I know we’ve both been dreaming about?”
Darcy took a deep breath as she continued her attempt to combat his advances. At the same time, he moved his light kisses from her neck to her jawline, “You know I can’t say no to you even when I want to. However, if you leave me again, then just know that this will never happen again,” she challenged as he last ditch effort to keep control of this situation.
“Never again?” he whispered against her neck, “I’m not sure I believe that, but if you’re serious, I invite you to join me on my adventures after we complete this mission. I may not be able to remain monogamous because of my work, however, I can promise you that you will remain my main focus.”
She nodded into his lips, “That does sound like a nice compromise. Your biggest challenge will be to get your ‘precious Diane’ to agree to the arrangement you propose,” she added as she ran her hand down his chest until she reached his belt buckle.
“I’ll handle it,” Roan replied as he lifted her against the wall while she wrapped her legs around his waist, “I see you’re not wasting any time.”
Darcy let out a soft chuckle, “It’s been too long for us to beat around the bush,” she replied as he slid inside of her causing her to gasp as she began moving her hips in rhythm with his.

Note
can you do ALL the OC asks for miyumi? If that's too much, 15-24 and also 3 ? <3
Alrighty!! I've already answered 3, 9+10, and 20- so I guess I'll just do the rest of them!
This got SUPER DUPER long, so I'm putting it under a read more <3
1 ) How would your character react to one of the canonical protagonists stepping in to protect them?
Stunned mostly? I mean, her husband saved her from a mugging like twice (once in 1988 and another time in 2005) and she fell absolutely head over heels for him both times-
Anyone else though? She'd certainly be thankful and give them something for their troubles, but Goro specifically? Oh she would be ALL over the guy-
2 ) How does your character react when they see a fight starting in the street? Do they intervene? Cheer on the side? Join in?
In her heart? She would join…. But I think she would cheer on the sidelines. Just absolutely HOLLERING- "KICK THEIR DICK IN!!!!!!!!!"- ok maybe not that exactly, but you KNOW she's thinking it-
4 ) Could your character win a fight against any of the canonical protagonists? Which one(s)?
That would be a solid no- But that doesn't mean she wouldn't try! But I don't think she would consider any fight a real fight if one of the parties doesn't fight back- (looking at you Kiryu- dude she wants to fight you soooo bad-)
5 ) If your character got to be a protagonist or main character in a canonical game, what city would the story be set in?
Probably somewhere in Yokohama? But old school. Not current day. Maybe even hop around a little bit- go to old school Kamurocho, and eventually end in Sotenbori.
6 ) If your character got to be a protagonist or main character in a canonical game, when would the story be set?
I'd say? 1981! Back when Miyumi was running her old biker gang. She'd be around 19 at the time, but my god was she ruthless. She used to really idolize the yakuza back then, so her gang was more or less ran like her idea of how a yakuza family was. She even called it the Satou Family. She used to even swipe other gangs and assimilated them into her own gang as other 'families'. If there was a game with her? It would probably follow her and her gang in their heyday, and then how it dissolved. I think the epilogue would be around 1988, after she moved to Sotenbori and right when she got hired to work in Club Sunshine.
7 ) What would your character be like if they appeared in Ishin (or Kenzan)?
I do have Ishin and Kenzan versions of Miyumi!
Ishin!Miyumi is named Takigawa and is an Oiran, who essentially fakes her own death via assassination, runs away, and somehow ends up getting married to Souji. She also changes her name to Mego, which was her name before she was sold off. She's a drunkard, and no one is quite sure how she got to the rank she was? But she's hot. so. <3 (Once I play Ishin Kiwami I'll probably have more to say here, but there's what we got for now!)
Kenzan!Miyumi is an ex-courtesan turned bandit! She's more often than not covered in blood, and wields a tetsubo! She also named herself Tetsu since she's strong like iron! She's also lived with guys for probably a little too long, but I say good for her! Also she is quite the womanizer if I do say so myself- I mean. Have you seen her arms? BEEFED! UP! She is quite loyal to Baiken though. Well- up until he just kinda disappears.
8 ) What would your character be like if they appeared in Dead Souls, or a Dead Souls spinoff?
Scared but having fun <3 Ok no but for real, with Dead souls being my favorite game, I've been working on a fic with Miyumi in this scenario- Brief rundown here, but? Ok so Miyumi's going through her basic routine and setting up her bar for the night, and then zombies show up and she panics, grabs a gun (that Goro gave her because of course he fucking did) and makes her way over to the hotel district in order to find some place to hole herself up into. All the while she's panicking because she can't seem to get in contact with her husband, and she SWEARS that she saw him going into a hostess club, but every time she tries to find him, she has either just missed him or zombies are in the way-
Overall? She's pretty panicked, scared, and probably being dramatic and decked out in some type of Rambo style outfit mixed with Lara Croft and kinda covered in either glitter or sequins- wielding a pink, bedazzled pistol- Just filling zombies with lead and having horrible aim <3
11 ) What’s your character’s favourite canonical restaurant? Which canonical restaurant do they eat at most often? Which canonical restaurant is their least favourite?
Miyumi's favorite restaurant is probably Kanrai, and her favorite dish there is the harami (Grade A of course). But you're more likely to find her at Smile Burger getting a basic old hamburger. She doesn't like Wette Kitchen- not because of the menu or anything, she just doesn't like the name.
12 ) What is your character most likely to purchase at the pawn shop? what are they most likely to pawn off?
I think she's most likely to buy jewelry and perfumes? Oh and maybe a dagger if she's feeling spicy~
Pawning off wise though? I'm thinking plates or random heat boost drinks that she has an excess of.
13 ) What sort of canon gear would your character equip?
Probably the bloody binding? It seems like something she'd find and keep- hell, it'd probably remind her of her old biking days!
14 ) What does/would your character like to do on a night out in Kamurocho?
Go to the host clubs <3 And drink- Miyumi dearest was quite the partier. These days though? She's more likely to just take in the sights, maybe rest in a bar and relax.
15 ) Your character finds themselves snowed in at the mountain village from y5. What do they do?
Cry and complain about how cold it is- probably be all dramatic like "Oh woe is me!!! This is my life now!! Some poor city girl LOST to the snowy peaks…" and then probably just live life until someone comes along and gets her out of there. She likes the snow, but not that much…
16 ) Would your character sing karaoke? If they had to sing one of the canonical karaoke songs, which would they choose?
Oh absolutely! Miyumi's favorite songs are Rouge of Love and Heartbreak Mermaid! I like to think that Goro and her go out to sing almost every weekend, or when they get the time.
17 ) Would your character be good at disco dancing?
Probably not. Miyumi walks up to the dance floor and everyone just knows that she's gonna absolutely bomb. At least she has fun!
18 ) Which canon character would/does your character get along best with? Why?
I'd automatically say Goro? Y'know, since he's her husband n all- But I as much as I headcanon them being damn near perfect together? I don't think everything is really perfect there- They try their best though <333
But for realsies? If they ever met? I think she would get along really well with Hamako! Honest to god I don't know why? I just think they would get along well- maybe it's the vibes. Epic win for GILFs everywhere <3
19 ) Which canon character is/would be your character’s worst enemy?
I can't think of anyone to be enemies with? But closest thought it probably Nishitani. I like to think they had a fling or two back in the day that she thought was something more. These days she tries not to think about it.
21 ) Your character sees Majima being mean to Nishida. What would they do?
If it's just the Majima boys around, then more often than not Miyumi will try and get Goro off of Nishida's back. But she is also a woman who needs to keep up appearances, and part of her act is being a wife who let's her husband do what he wants. So if there are other tojo clan men around, she doesn't really do anything. She will buy him a bento though! I guess these days she's more likely to actually stop her husband and try to resolve things calmly. Good cop & Bad cop type beat.
22 ) What’s the most important canonical event your character witnesses/is involved with?
Y'know whenever the tower blows up? Yea <3 She did live in Kamurocho full time since about? 2000? So she was 100% around when the tower exploded that first time. Pretty sure she snatched up some of the cash floating around too. But then blew it all on alcohol to fill up her bar with.
23 ) What sort of weird stuff you pick up off the ground is your character most excited to find?
LOCKER KEYS!!!!!! You know how much Miyumi loves free stuff? Oh my lord every time she finds one she's already off to go see what cool new thing she's able to either pocket or pawn off.
24 ) What would happen if your character met ono michio?
I think. She would. Be pretty scared. But also very confused as to why he sounds a lot like a certain someone she knew…

PREQUEL ARC: PART 2 - THE HOUK
A/N: Part 2 is here! First and foremost, can I just say thank you so much for the reception Part 1 received and to those who (gasps!) actually want me to tag them for updates??? I don’t know how to react??? I’m so touched??????? It’s so motivating and has reminded me why I love sharing my scribbles!
There’s a greater focus on world/character building in this chapter so if it feels a bit rambling or description heavy, I do apologise! Like I said, I’m trying to build some context to the reader-insert before we get to the smut, and I hope that I’ve kept her general enough that she doesn’t cross the line too much into OC territory and becomes unrelatable. As always, constructive criticism is welcome! My style of writing leaves much to be desired so I would love to know if something doesn’t make sense so I can improve and fix it. But enough of that, on with the show!
Pairing: Din Djarin/Fem!Reader
Word Count: 5.2k
Rating: 18+ (NO Minors)
Warnings: Language and slight injury detail.
Plot: You encounter Mando suffering one misfortune after another.

8 ABY, Mynock, Dandoran.
The second time you met him, he had dislocated his shoulder after a nasty clash with a Houk.
Your dealing with the Mandalorian on Klatooine had moved to the back of your mind and you rarely, if ever, thought about it. It was merely another encounter with a rough character that needed some medical attention. You wouldn’t have been able to hazard a guess at how many similar characters you saw in a week while you worked at the clinic. Even more so when you’d left Klatooine after becoming disillusioned that the New Republic were actually trying to make a difference.
You had heard stories from the Core and Mid Rim planets. Stories of the investment and progress being made to rebuild after the tyranny of the Empire, of the billions of credits being poured into the development of new ship building centers on Corellia and large, extravagant residencies for government members on Coruscant. Things, you were sure, that were not actually urgent necessities as they were desires. Especially given that the funds you received from that same government to sustain the clinic thinned before drying up completely a few months after your encounter with the Mandalorian.
…Hemorrhaging more credits than is justified for the benefits we’re seeing in return.
The busybody politician with a colorful title and even more colorful robes waxed poetically, hiding the sentiment of disinterest in ways only a politician could. Half-heartedly trying to distract you by his explanations with empty praise and gratitude for your service during the Rebellion and your humanitarian work now, a true embodiment of what the New Republic stands for. He crowed like the colorful bird he looked like, dressed as he was with fine feathers lining the lapels of his robes.
You bristle at the memory of the hologram’s eyes flickering to look at anything besides you, running down the time you had spent weeks trying to get.
That was when the memory of the Mandalorian surfaced, surprisingly. How the day after you treated him you arrived at the medical center and saw  a familiar pouch of credits sitting innocently behind the check-in desk. When you enquired with the receptionist, she told you it was sitting there once she opened up earlier that morning. The only note left being on one of the datapads behind the desk, the scrawling font reading; to help with your work. You had let out a chuckle to yourself as you checked your schedule, wondering if the brutish male you had treated last night really was as cold as he portrayed himself to be.
The memory had incited a righteous anger that a bounty hunter was more willing to support a voluntary clinic than the government that set it up in the first place was.
I thought the Empire were the ones who put a credit limit on what a life is worth. You had hissed in return, interrupting what you were sure was a well-rehearsed and well used speech, before hanging up. You pressed the heel of your hands into your eyes, taking a shuddering breath as you tried not to be nihilistic in thinking that you had spent nearly half your life thinking you could make a difference, when, you were just serving the Empire in different clothing.
It wasn’t a fair comparison; you knew the New Republic was neither as cruel nor as tyrannical and oppressive as it’s predecessor, but you had been made so dreadfully aware that in places like the Outer Rim, people would always be overlooked by those in power because they simply didn’t offer enough to be worth looking at.
The realization was a raw wound to your soul. You had lost brothers and friends to the fight for liberation, but it didn’t seem as though the grass was much greener on the other side. Maybe elsewhere in the galaxy it was, but where you were needed most, the grass was dehydrated and dying under the relentless sun.
With the clinic penniless, your meagre pension from the Rebellion was not nearly enough to keep it functioning. Add to that the reluctance of the other medics to run the clinic alongside you out of their own pocket and the intergalactic beacon for medical aid that alerted anyone in the parsec of where to go being disengaged, traffic stopped. The native Klatooinians preferred their own healers and very rarely, if ever, sought out medics from the New Republic.
For the first time in your life, your path wasn’t clear. If you even had a path anymore.
That was how you found yourself on Dandoran, flying off a week after the last of the medics left Derelkann to the first planet that was habitable to humans. But by the Maker, it was even rougher than Klatooine. The temperate climate and lush greenery were more comfortable for you, but the city you found yourself in, Mynock, was to say the least, undesirable. Having once been Hutt Space, there were still several illegal operations active that kept the city going and you learned early on what areas to avoid and to always carry a blaster with you. But at least where there was activity, there was work for you.
***
You met Biran Sonter the very day you arrived, asking directions to the nearest medical facility, hoping they could use another medic. He was an elderly Mirialan male with a wealth of history behind him, his facial tattoos creased with deep wrinkles and a kindly smile that reminded you of your grandfather.
You were flabbergasted to learn that during the time of the Galactic Republic, he acted as the royal physician to the palace on Naboo.
As you choked on the tea he had kindly made for you at that revelation, you couldn’t ask him quickly enough how he ended up here? On an Outer Rim backwater skughole of a planet and his tale had been sobering. When the Republic first fell, anyone who did not immediately surrender to the rising Empire was terminated. Biran had, at the time, only heard word of the death of the beloved former Queen Amidala and blamed the Empire vehemently. Escaping on one of the last shuttles from the Mid Rim planet before legions of clones descended, he arrived on Dandoran where no one, not even the Hutts cared enough to notice him. All they knew, was that he was an excellent doctor who charged little for his services and kept to himself. That was good enough for them. While he treated a vast number of criminals ranging from thieves to bounty hunters, he was not wholly merciful. He somehow managed to avoid or talk his way out of treating anyone in the organized crime syndicates or known traffickers and killers. It may have gone against a physician’s code to do ones best to save every life, but he like many, made their own code in the Outer Rim.
You fell into a fast and easy friendship with the Mirialan after that, your similar histories of working in the medical field despite being decades apart giving you plenty to talk about. The practice Biran ran in Mynock was always busy and he was only too grateful when you offered to take the weight off his old shoulders and gradually, his clients began to expect to see you most of the day and Biran for a few hours in the early morning. You were never short on work between cantina brawls, accidents and the downright attacks that took place in Mynock and the next eighteen standard months seemed to pass in the blink of an eye, Klatooine a distant memory, as was the Mandalorian you met there.
Tumblr media
The night you saw him again, was no different to any other you spent enjoying a quiet drink before heading back to turn in for the night.
You had been in the process of leaving the cantina, recognizing that the later it grew, the rowdier and aggressive the clientele became. You could handle yourself as well as anyone who made their home in Hutt Space, but you knew better than to be blatantly reckless when you were on your own. It wasn’t like you had the squadron you stayed with throughout the Rebellion for backup as you once did, and your closest ally would probably break in half if you pushed him too hard. So no, you were not staying late with Mynocks newest resident of a Houk warlord and the company he seemed to attract.
The Houk in question was a cruel and belligerent brute, a former local warlord by the name of Gappo Teff. His reputation for inflicting punishment disproportionate to any slight committed against him or the Empire was one of the many echoes of the former imperial rule that was still being felt in the galaxy nearly three years after its collapse.
The stories of the chokehold he held over Sullust would make even a hardened soldier’s stomach churn. How he managed to escape the liberation of the planet without being dragged to the noxious surface of Sullust to suffer for the pain he had caused so many, was a mystery. But there he was, sitting like a king in the cantina you found yourself in, bellowing laughter ricocheting obnoxiously throughout the space, not a care in the world that he was a wanted felon.
It might have been to do with the fact that he was at least seven and a half foot tall, with a mass that could easily fit three of you side by side across him and still not be seen. It might have been to do with the cold, milky blue of his small eyes, sunk into a skull so large it could probably shatter ribs and rupture organs if one were to be headbutted with it. The last thing anyone wanted was those eyes focusing on them. It could have been the heavy artillery modified blaster he kept laying on his lap; the weapon more of a cannon for those of a more regular stature. Whatever the reason, very few bounty hunters and even fewer New Republic guards came to collect him. He was probably one of the most easily found quarries on all Guild registers and New Republic wanted lists and yet, he languished in Mynock as if the Empire had never fallen and his reign was still assured.
Making your way to the entrance, you came up short as someone walked in, your nose coming abruptly close to a reddish-brown durasteel chest-plate. Taking a step back, your eyes did a double take at the familiar unpainted beskar helmet. Subconsciously, you had stepped to the side, the Mandalorian continuing to walk without a word as if you hadn’t nearly walked into him. Mandalorians were a rare sight these days, so you could be forgiven for staring. Though, you were most likely staring for entirely different reasons compared to everyone else in the cantina.
The armor was the same, if not a bit more worn, as was the dark boiled woolen cape and pulse rifle strapped to his back. But it was the gait; how could someone walk both gracefully and arrogantly, almost cocky in his self-assurance that he was in control wherever he went. It explained why he was so determined not to let his injury be known by his walk the last time you saw him. Because you had seen him before, there was no doubt in your mind that this was the same irritable reek of a Mandalorian you met in Derelkann years ago.
He stood in the middle of the cantina, assessing the place as his helmet scanned the area. If you didn’t know any better, you say he was…
“Oh, you gotta be kidding me.” You muttered to yourself when the helmet stopped on Teff. When you said bounty hunters didn’t bother to come after him, you should have been more specific. Smart bounty hunters didn’t bother hunting Gappo Teff, which explained why the one you knew of was right there looking for him.
A choice lay before you. Leave now and lock your doors until morning… or wait. For what, you couldn’t be sure. But if the Mandalorian wasn’t killed tonight by Teff, he was going to wish he was with the injuries he would probably sustain.
You let your head fall back on your shoulders as you exhaled. Why were you so soft for lost causes and wayward souls?
Tumblr media
The Houks bodyguards left much to be desired, crumbling to the ground before they had even drawn their blasters, smoke rising from the blaster wounds inflicted effortlessly by Din.
The bodyguards weren’t what worried Din. Their boss hardly needed protecting, and he wasn’t going to go down without a fight.
The groan and screech of the metal table being shoved away by Teff as he stood to his full height made Din grit his teeth, arms open as he boomed, “Ah Mando, I was wondering when you’d try your luck at me. Your reputation is becoming rather infamous throughout the parsec.”
A guttural, wet laugh left the purple skinned quarry as Din remained silent and kept his blaster aimed. Damn, but the piece of bantha crap was big. He quickly scanned his peripheral, but it seemed the residents of Mynock had more self-interest than to trade blaster fire over one warlord, the barkeep casually making his was into the backroom of the bar to keep out of harms way.
“Why don’t you hang up that Guild work and let me make you a better offer.” Teff boomed, taking a swing of his drink, streams of the yellow fluid running down the sides of him mouth as those frosty eyes stayed trained on the bounty hunter.
Din rolled his eyes behind his helmet; negotiations by the quarry were his least favorite reaction to being caught but he knew better than to think he had captured the colossal male yet. Until Teff was either dead or frozen in carbonite, he was a danger. Luckily, the orders were to bring him in dead or alive. Seems the New Republic were fed up with him still breathing. He couldn’t say he blamed them.
“No?” the Houk pushed when Din didn’t respond, “Too bad, you’d have made an excellent addition to my collection.” And with more speed than Din had anticipated from the large male, he charged.
Tumblr media
You had the good sense to leave the cantina as soon as the first blaster shot was fired, pulling the hood of your dusty grey jacket over your head while you made your way back to the practice to gather a few things. Things that would be completely obsolete if he died but you wouldn’t think that far. You were a realist, not a pessimist. The Houk might have had the advantage of height and sheer strength, but the Mandalorian was quicker, possibly smarter, and decked with enough firepower to make a starfighter pilot drool.
So, you put the odds about sixty forty in favor of the Mandalorian. Not that you would ever tell him that.
Tumblr media
Teff roared in anger as Din rolled out of the way again, shooting his grappling hook to latch onto the Houks shoulder and yanked hard enough to throw the male off balance. Despite his large size however, Teff was able to slide his foot back to catch himself, putting him in direct line with Din.
He was on his feet in no time as the Houk charged at him, lowering his head so that on contact, Din’s left shoulder was thrown back into the wall of the cantina. His breath left him as the impact winded him, a dull but growing pain throbbing from his shoulder before Teff’s vile breath permeated even his helmet and a large hand wrapped around Din’s throat. He could feel his feet leave the floor and the weight of his body pulling downward made the pressure on his windpipe all the heavier.
“Oh well, at least you tried.” Teff gloated, his head leaning closer as if to peer into the visor and that distraction was all Din needed to lift his hand and engage his flamethrower, engulfing the Houk in flames. Din gasped in a breath when he was dropped, the squeals of pain coming from Teff disconcerting as he staggered around the cantina, desperately looking for something to extinguish the inferno his clothing and more vulnerable tissue had become.
Din waited a few more measured breaths before lifting the blaster and shooting the quarry in the vulnerable side of the neck, satisfied with the resounding bang the body made as it fell to the ground, flames still burning bright until he picked up the half-drunk tankard on Teffs table to douse the fire lest he be completely unrecognizable upon delivery.
Din looked around, the cantina was empty; the silence suddenly deafening as he looked back down at the body.
Now, how to get him back to the Razor Crest.
Din sighed.
Tumblr media
“We have to stop meeting like this.”
You held up your hands unsurprised when the Mandalorian spun on the ramp of his ship, blaster raised and aimed right at you. He tilted his head slightly, taking you in and you tried not to fidget under the gaze you could feel raking over you despite not being able to see his eyes. What you could see though, was how limp his left arm was hanging to his side.
“The demon medic from Klatooine.” He muttered, finally placing your face and lowering his blaster slowly while you lowered your arms.
“I’ll take that as a compliment.” You snorted before nodding to his arm, “And you’ll probably be calling me a lot worse when I tell you that that arm needs tending to.”
He shifted slightly, turning his body so you wouldn’t be able to see. You just crossed your arms across your chest and stared at him pointedly. He held your gaze and was still as a statue. You could play the silence game too if that was how he wanted to do this. It was only a matter of time before one of you broke and you weren’t the one with a dislocated shoulder, so you’d say that the odds were in your favor.
It seemed like time dragged on before, without saying anything, the Mandalorian sighed and turned towards the ship.
You bit down on a smile, but you could still feel it creeping upon your lips as you congratulated yourself on winning. Two nil, you tallied in your head, not bad girl.
The ship… well the ship was a fossil and that was being generous. But it was clean and obviously well taken of, if the tidy hull was anything to go by.
Apart from the charred corpse lying in the middle of course, but those were just details. Easily overlooked. The smell however… that was a different story, but you held back any comments. You still couldn’t fathom how he’d managed to drag a fully grown Houk through the town one-handed, but then you knew that the strength and discipline of the Mandalorians was unrivalled. He could have done it through sheer determination and honestly, you were lucky to have found him at all. But people in Mynock liked to talk, so following the rumors' had let you there relatively easy.
A sigh broke your train of thought, “Let’s get this over with.”
The warrior seemed resigned to his fate as he stepped over the corpse and you followed suit, mind instantly running through the correct procedure and treatment.
“We have to get the bone in the upper arm into the correct position before it slips back into joint, otherwise the force will just break your arm.” You explained as you moved to stand in front of the large warrior when he sat back on one of the many crates pushed against the wall of the ship. You could barely hear the short exhales coming from the modulator and you could only guess that he was holding back speaking, whether in pain or frustration that you had strong-armed him into accepting treatment again.
“But hey, look on the bright side.”
His visor tilted slightly to look at you.
“No droids needed.” You shrugged a shoulder and sent him a grin when he said nothing. When he looked away, you focused your attention back on the problem shoulder; it wasn’t immediately clear that it had been dislocated, the pauldron he wore hiding the jutting ball of the joint that was no doubt pressed uncomfortably against his flesh. What you could see was that his left side was hanging just a bit lower than his right, and the inability to move the arm was a dead giveaway.
“Are you just going to stare at it or actually do what you said you would when you barged onto my ship?” The rasp was closer to you as he turned his head, the rumble of his voice decidedly deeper than you remembered last time. Or perhaps it always had been, and you just hadn’t been paying enough attention, more focused on the very real threat of having a dead body on your hands as the poison spread. You rolled your eyes; or it was all the short and biting commands he only seemed to know how to give as opposed to actually speaking that made you forget the voice. The man could be attractive, if he wasn’t so frustrating.
“I can’t see it properly.” You replied, agitated with him again. He got under your skin too easily, and ruined your cool demeanor.
“You dealt with the problem just fine before.” He snapped back, pain making him cranky.
“You didn’t have a bone out of place last time!” You stopped yourself, sucking in a breath before releasing it to prevent yourself from snapping again.
“At least,” you bartered, “let me remove the pauldron. I can feel around the duraweave to get an idea. I won’t see any more of you than I did last time.”
He didn’t say anything again for a time and honestly, he was the slowest person you’d ever met at receiving emergency medical care. Half the men you treated during the Rebellion would yell until you’d taken care of the worst of their injuries before they even considered if it was what they wanted or not.
“Fine.” Was all he responded, making no move to remove the offending piece so you took that as your cue to feel around the curved metal cautiously, feeling where it attached to his duraweave and releasing it into your hands before placing it down on a separate crate.
“There, that wasn’t so hard, was it?” A warning growl echoed in the hull, turning you back to your task with a hum.
It seemed the joint had popped forward, no doubt from caving in as Teff collided with Mando’s shoulder. You leaned forward, your fingers feeling around the area as gently as you could while his breathing came out a little shorter. You sent him an apologetic smile.
“I’m going to have to ask you to stay still, okay? Usually I’d have someone to hold—”
“I can keep myself still, just do it.” He snapped finally, turning to look at you before he looked away again. You said nothing more as you took his gloved hand in yours, turning the forearm over and feeling the hand clench in yours when he hissed.
“Shh, nearly there.” You soothed, moving your hand under his elbow to lift it so it was aligned with Mando’s shoulder. You stood, keeping the arm in place and twisting yourself to stand facing his side.
Tumblr media
You were definitely out to get him. There was no other explanation for why he only seemed to be seriously injured in your presence. Din tried to tell himself he was being over-dramatic and irrational, that you hadn’t even been on the same planet when he was injured the first time, but then you opened your mouth and he felt justified in his petulant thoughts.
“On three.” He heard you warn and all he could offer was a single nod; the sooner he got this over with the better.
“One…” You jerked the arm forward and slipped the joint back into place quickly with a sickening crack and searing pain took his breath away before it began to ebb immediately.
“DANK…. FERRICK!” Din yelled as his good arm reached across to grip his left, bending forward as he breathed through the flash of pain. You moved out of his way, waiting for him to look back up at you through the helmet, deep pants making his chest heave. You cocked your head to the side when his eyes found yours, a clear question there.
He groaned as he sat back, leaning his head against the hull, “It… doesn’t hurt as much anymore.” He admitted, thinking that the smile you gave him was somewhat worth the knock to his ego at having to admit such a thing in the first place. And like last time, before he could even worry about the concerning direction that thought had led to, you were fluttering about opening crates and bins as if you owned the place.
“What the hell—” he made to stand indignantly.
“Do you have any spare cloth?” You interrupted, “Your arm needs to be bound for a few days. If you have bacta it might reduce the healing time a bit but honestly, I don’t think dislocations can be rushed despite recent studies. Rushing back to heavily lifting or activity for at least six weeks is a sure way to hurt yourself again.”
You were rambling now as you set a pile of disused yet clean cloth you found on your lap, sitting across from him as he just blinked at this enigma of a woman. Giving him orders in his own ship, were you daft?
Your eyes sharpened and shot to his and he was suddenly glad you couldn’t see behind his mask. His eyes had widened guiltily at the thought that you had read his mind.
“You will do what you’re told, understand Mando?” You warned as your fingers tied a loose sling from strips of cloth you’d pulled apart without even having to look at it, deft fingers looping the material and strengthening it with several more layers woven in for good measure.
“If you insist on getting injured so often, you live with the consequences. And the consequences are doing what you’re fucking told and being happy about it, got it? Sulk if you want, so long as you keep the arm bound and don’t take on any jobs for at least two months.”
He opened his mouth a few times at the audacity, did she have a death wish? He couldn’t remember the last time anyone had spoken to him as if he were no more than a child and it made his blood boil. But just as quickly as the anger arose, it simmered as she muttered while watching her fingers tie off the sling,
“You don’t actually seem like a bad guy, and the galaxy can’t afford to lose anymore… not bad guys.” She seemed unsure of giving out even this level of praise but then again, she only had their first encounter to go by.
He grunted; not sure how to respond. And when Din was uncomfortable, he resorted to silence.
You got to your feet once the sling was suitably strong enough to support the weight of his arm without unravelling or breaking and you indicated to him, “May I?”
He jerked his head up in affirmation and you maneuvered the sling to sit correctly under his elbow and forearm, coaxing him to lift it slightly with a tap before you looped the tied end over his helmet, adjusting the length slightly to fit against him.
“You left Klatooine.” the statement rose from the warrior, his tone quieter than you’d heard him all day. Was he... trying to make conversation? Din told himself that it was merely out of curiosity from seeing you by chance on two totally different planets.
Blinking in surprise, you sat back on the crate in front of him, crossing one leg over the other and leaning back on one of your hands, “New Republic stopped funding the clinic and I realized that they’re all the same when it comes to the Outer Rim.”
He snorted in agreement, honestly, he wasn’t surprised to hear the New Republic had cut their losses on charity. It wasn’t in their nature to funnel money away from the Core planets.
“But it’s not all bad,” you continued, “I work with a doctor here. He’s old now so he should be enjoying his retirement. I’m kept busy and…”
He watched you while he waited for you to finish, surely there was more? But when you just shrugged and sent him a tight smile, he felt an uncomfortable niggle at the back of his neck, a familiarity that made him almost want to smile back even if you couldn’t see it. Almost. But not quite. He was unnerved at the… empathy he had for your situation. He too just… kept busy. It wasn’t towards any end beyond supporting the covert and the foundlings there. But for himself, he just kept working towards some translucent, non-existent goal, one job ended, and another began.
Something in your eyes told him you were doing the exact same thing. It unnerved him to think about.
“Echoy’la…” the word left him without knowing and you blinked,
“Hm?”
He shook his head and stood, grunting a bit at the ache in his shoulder when it jostled a bit, “Nothing. It seems I owe you my thanks again, demon medic.”
“I do have a name you know.” You snorted, letting the previous topic go as it seemed to just make him more awkward and grumpy than he already was. You packed away the medikit and replaced the unused cloth back where you found it.
“Somehow I don’t think it’ll be as fitting.”
“Whatever, sunshine.” You looked over your shoulder at him, the sling looking so out of place as he hooked a thumb in the utility belt he wore. It was amazing that he could still look as intimidating as he did. You gathered your things and started down the ramp leisurely. He followed you silently until he was standing at the entrance to the ship.
“Demon or not… thank you.” He called out as your feet hit the dusty ground of Mynock once again. You looked back over your shoulder and gave a single wave, calling something back to him that did make him smile behind his helmet this time.
As you disappeared into the streets of Mynock, he tested the name you had thrown back to him, rolling the syllables, and testing the vowels as he repeated it to himself.
Pity, he thought. He hated being wrong about anything, but somehow, your name was a much better fit than demon medic.
Not that he would ever admit that to you, of course.

Chapter 1
Break up with my ex girlfriend
Frat parties. Am I right? Worst part of college life. A lot of people drink to forget about their grades and how their lives went wrong, while someone’s just hoping to have some fun with them (if you know what I mean). For the first year, I hated them with passion, but it was before I met him. At a frat party. Oh, the irony! And then, frat parties were the only chance I had to actually talk to him. It didn’t take us long enough to start dating. I think that adults tell you fairy tales to make you grow up with a hope, the hope to find your real happy ending, your true love. Well, I wasn’t used to believe in them, but the year I spent with Tom… that was close to the definition of happy ending. The problem with happy endings? They don’t tell you what happens after them. And that’s because they’re a nightmare.
“Tell me that now or you’re not gonna find me in this bed tomorrow”, he says and there’s a part of me that wants to die right here and right now. I shake my head. I don’t want to do that. Not because I don’t feel anything for him, but I’m scared that this will complicate things between us and it’s the last thing I want. “Are you serious, Y/N? You really think that saying something like that during sex doesn’t count? Calling someone on the phone means something, even if you’re drunk as Hell. So tell me what you really feel about me right now or I swear, I’m out of this room. I’m out of this kind of weird relationship that’s going on between us for years,” Tom says and the veins on his arms draw a beautiful map on his body, in which the moles are cities and his eyes are volcanoes. They’re burning, unlike my skin, that is freezing because I’m not wearing anything at the moment. Except for my shame, perhaps. My insecurities, that never leave me. Even in front of Tom.
“You don’t mean that,” I try to say, my mouth dry. But he’s insanely angry. In another situation, it would be hot.
“I do, Y/N,” he replies. I swallow. His expression softens, like he’s in pain. He comes closer to me, brushing my cheeks with his hands. My eyes are full of tears. His words feel like a prayer on my skin. “Please, tell me”.
And even if I don’t wanna do that, my hands are tied. Even if that’s a lie. I remain in silence. One second after that, he’s gone. Tom always keeps his promises, after all.
2 months before
Harrison sat down with a strange look on his face. It only meant one thing for Tom: trouble. He sighed, throwing away the third cigarette of the day. Jacob raised an eyebrow, trying to get rid of the stench of smoke with one hand.
“I thought you wanted to quit smoking,” Jacob said.
“Relax, I only smoke before finals now,” Tom said. “What’s up, mate? Come on, talk”.
Harrison raised a corner of his lips in a smirk.
“Rumor has it, that Oliver’s got a girlfriend,” he said.
“No way!” Jacob exclaimed.
“Oh, fuck me,” Tom said, laying on the grass with his hands behind his neck, glancing at a couple of girls who were passing by.
“I haven’t said the best part yet, though,” Harrison continued. Jacob urged him to speak further. “He’s gonna throw a party for his birthday and he’ll introduce her to his friends. But since we’re his friends, I was wondering why I haven’t told us anything about this gal in weeks. So I played Sherlock Holmes for a couple of hours and I found out that… we actually know this girl,” he said.
“I bet she’s someone of the campus,” Tom joked, as if it was obvious.
“I bet she’s someone’s ex girlfriend,” Jacob replied.
Harrison remained quiet, but he was smiling.
“You gotta be kidding me,” Tom said, astonished, while sitting on the grass again.
“I won!” Jacob yelled.
“Who’s she? I hooked up with…”
“Ex girlfriend, Tom. It’s not some random girl you hooked up with. She’s someone you remember very well,” Harrison said.
“So we’re talking about me, uh? Well, let’s see… is it Janine? We lasted two weeks, I wouldn’t be mad about her,” he shrugged. Harrison swallowed.
“It’s someone you would be mad about,” Jacob guessed. “And there’s just one person that you would be mad about”.
Tom’s eyes widened at the realization.
“He’s fucking dead”.
Two days after that conversation, here they were: the three of them were laying with their backs on the wall like they were sustaining it from falling down. Tom had threatened Oliver with a Dare to explain, mate?, but his answer was just an I’m sorry Tom, but she’s just your ex. I don’t have to ask for your permission. Or does this mean that you’re still not over her? So, since Tom values too much his pride, he said that he was over her and that Oliver was right, he didn’t have to ask for his permission. Oliver apologized for not telling him that before and then walked away, leaving Tom to smoke the whole pack of cigarettes. Tom was watching Oliver talking with Elizabeth, one of your friends, when he saw you and Zendaya arrive at the party. In his opinion, you were stunning. You immediately caught his gaze. You just never failed to amaze him, even after a year. His heart ached at the view, but it ached even more when you greeted Oliver. You gave him a kiss on his cheek, clenching your hand in a fist. It seemed like you were uncomfortable. So, he came up with a plan to save you.
“Wait for me here,” he said to his friends, then he walked fast to reach you. “Hey mate, happy birthday!” Tom said to Oliver, who hugged him.
“Thanks, Tom. I think that you already know Y/N, Lizzie and Z,” he said and you smiled along with your friends, even if you looked more surprised than happy.
“Of course, I do,” Tom said, looking directly at you. You looked down. “Could I please talk to Y/N? We haven’t been in touch for quite some time and I’d like to catch up with her,” he asked.
“Sure!” Oliver said, while Zendaya seemed looking at you with a concerned expression. You winked at her.
Tom made you move away from Oliver by brushing your back, walking to the next exit. He lowered his voice in order to talk with you only, speaking to your hear: “You look ravishing, darling”.
He noticed that you closed your eyes for a very long second, but you didn’t say a word about that.
“Are you here to show that you still own me or something?”
“I don’t own you, darling. You’re absolutely free to do anything you like,” he said, lighting a cigarette outside the building.
“Z said you wanted to quit smoking,” you said, furrowing your eyebrows.
“I only smoke before finals”.
“Finals were yesterday,” you replied.
“Are we here to talk about me or you? I noticed that you were uncomfortable with Oliver, but I thought that you were his girlfriend. Wouldn’t it be weird?”
You smirked.
“Oh, now I get it. You’re jealous”.
“Nah, If I’d be jealous, you would know, trust me,” Tom said, with a playful tone.
“What would you do?” You asked, curiousity eating you alive. You wanted to know so bad if he still had feelings for you.
“Don’t play with fire, darling. You’re gonna burn your pretty hands, otherwise,” he replied, running a finger over his lip. Shivers ran through your spine, but you hoped that Tom didn’t notice it.
“Don’t try to seduce me, Holland. You’re not gonna win this time,” you said, chuckling. “And for the record, we’re not dating. He’s just insistent,” you explained.
Tom looked inside and saw Oliver staring at the two of you. An idea came up into his mind and he couldn’t quite get rid of it. It was smart, but also terrifying. It was very dangerous, yet he had to try.
“We could be in a fake relationship. It could fool everyone,” he proposed.
You turned to look at him, astonished.
“Even after what happened?”
Tom’s eyes were locked with yours, but his facial muscles didn’t move at all. If he still was hurt by the reason that made you two break up, he didn’t show it to you.
“He’s coming here,” he said instead, glancing at Oliver.
“Tom, this is insane,” you kept going. “You said you couldn’t forgive me after…”
It happened all too fast. All the lights went out at the same time. Tom's lips were on yours in an instant. Everything was on fire, every inch of your body. Every cell your flash was made of exploded like a dying supernova. A moment later, someone snatched him from your hands, leaving you in the cold.
Oliver hit him. Tom laughed, nervously, but then he grabbed the collar of Oliver’s shirt and slammed him against the wall, angrily. You pounced on Tom, trying to pull him away from Oliver. At first, Tom looked at you confused, thinking that you just wanted to keep Oliver safe from him, but your eyes told him another story: you prevented him to be kicked out from the campus.
“I told you, you’d know,” he said, while wiping a trickle of blood from his mouth, pretending to be the tough guy he wasn’t.
“Guys, I think we should leave,” Jacob said, while Harrison was taking Tom away from Oliver by his arm.
“I thought we were friends, Tom,” Oliver said, an inch of hurting in his voice tone.
“That was before you came after the only thing I care about,” he said harshly. And then, he left with Harrison and Jacob.
That night, while Tom was cleaning himself of blood in the bathroom, Jacob was staring at him worried, while standing with one arm against the door jamb.
“You never told me what happened, you know, with Y/N last year. Haz doesn’t want to tell me, he thinks it’s up to you. You said that you were over her, but I don’t think you are, since what you did tonight,” he said. Tom kept wiping away the blood from his shirt, ignoring Jacob’s words. “Why have you broken up with her, Tom? It seems pretty obvious that you’re still in love with her”.
Tom gulped, while looking at himself in the mirror. He had tried to bury all of his memories deep down, but it seemed that now the demons wanted to come back and play with him once again. Maybe it had finally come the time to confront them.
When he spoke, his voice was low and hoarse: “Because she cheated on me”.

Ok yea hi @mojo-chojo wanted me to do my part of my ocs so here it is. Feel free to share this later on ~
Anyway so first off we have Isaiah Wigram. I don't think you've drawn him as much as Marcellus but I guessed I'd still tell a lil about him.
Oh and PS Mojo you forgot to start the info on the twins that they are yk OCs belonging in the Bloodborne universe ( Bloodborne being a From Software game about a 18 century place named Yharnam being infected by beasts and you as a hunter trying to figure out why. The whole game is centered about blood and lovecraftian gods named " the great ones ". )
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So Isaiah was a boy who lived with his mother and his sister since he was young. He lived far away and outside of Yharnam. His father left when he was young and his mother fell ill sook after and so he learned to take care and help of his family soon. He was very attached to his mother and even more to his sister Liliana aka Lily who was quite a few years younger.
Trough the years his mother had gotten worse and was weaker so a lot of stuff was done by him around the house. One night though blood drunk and aggressive, probably insane by now , men from nearby village came into his house and did unspeakable things to his family, killed his family and almost killed him. Wigram got his neck sliced open but managed to get away and ran away as fast as possible. He heard rumors of the city south. That it would treat anyone and any ailment, so he ran and ran until he got there and passed out on the doorstep of the Yharnam church.
Yharnam church took him and treated him , and it was the only reason he survived after but in return he had to become a hunter for the church to " pay off his dept ". And so he became an outsider who was a hunter and later to be found out to he the " moon" hunter who goes to the hunters dream and cannot really die as long as he is connected to the hunters dream as he will always just revive there. Trough the time.passing he starts to learn that there's something really wrong and he wants to uncover the secrets of the church. Eventually he also becomes more addicted to blood and beast palletes so he ends up having a lot of internal struggle with part of the beasthood wanting to take over.
That's the main plot at least.
This is all based more in what the general game talks about. I made him as the outsider character that you're supposed to play as in game.
From there I've created several " butterfly effect " AU's or side aus. I have a specific story of what wigrams life would be in game with just in-game characters and then seperate aus of what if he met hunters like Crow and Raven. I hope that makes sense.
With Crow and Raven he starts working later on as he has nowhere to go and noone to rely on and Yharnam people aren't the nicest to outsiders since the church blamed the plague that rid the city because of outsiders.
Yet Crow and Raven take him in and after a while stray to trust him to hunt with him more. Wigram doesn't trust them fast at all though and even up to a year never shows his face. He keeps his face covered as he wants to keep his identity secret and he knows his face shows a lot of emotion, so to hide it he does so.
In addition , once becoming a hunter, he doesn't introduce himself as Isaiah, but only Wigram. Never explaining why until later.
"The man named Isaiah died, the day I became a hunter"
Then I haven't really developed anything concrete with mojo what he and the twins do or are like as we always just end up making silly moments but I can say Wigram cannot stand people close to his face as the 3-4 years of hunting with no contact with any living soul, made him even more flustered of any contact than before. He has a big heart though and once he gets attached to anyone would protect them with his life.
If I could describe him with anything it would have to be the " lonely wolf " sort of type or like a " abandoned dog " stereotype.
He's also somewhere in his early or mid 20s btw.
Alrighty, enough about him, now the next one is Marcellus, who Mojo thirsts over far more than Wigram.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is Marcellus Magrath Wright and he was the second character I created after I got more acquainted with the lore of the game.
He is no hunter, but he is a Mensis scholar. In the game itself the mensis school was meant to study the great ones and tried to ascend to a higher plane with means of " opening their eyes " metaphorically speaking for opening your mind with the help of knowing or knowledge gathered from supposed great ones. That whole school was governed by Headmaster Micolash , which has no specific place in Marcellus ' story but he does show up in game and is the crazy example of what mensis did.
Marcellus was born from a wealthy , even rich family of scholars. His father was a scholar and he pushed him to be one as well. Marcellus of course wanted to be a scholar so there was no need to force him but his father had diffrent views. His father had many issues and he was not exactly sane either. Being obsessed with the idea of ascension and creating the perfect son to " ascend " he tortured Marcellus all the way trough his childhood and teenage years to " prepare his body for it ". The man claimed that the body was nothing more but a vessel to help you ascend and put Marcellus trough a lot or abuse for it.
Marcellus' mother on the other hand was very passive. She did try to stop the man when he was small but trough the years stopped as she was scared of him and because she was becoming blind and probably also had dementia.
Marcellus hated his father but assumed what he had to go trough was a necessary step and whatever his father said ended up being something Ingraved in his brain. He attended mensis as soon as possible and stayed in their dorms instead of coming home. During the years or studying, his father was one day found dead on his writing desk, bleeding all over the research papers he had. Noone knew if it was something he did himself or something else but Marcellus didn't feel sad. If anything he felt guilty that he didn't feel sad or mourn after him.
Soon after his mother passed away as well. After that Marcellus started to go blind himself as he unfortunately inherited his mother's illness. He had Retinitis pigmentosa, which in non fancy terms gives you tunnel vision ( partial blindness ) but in rare instances makes you blind completely. Unfortunately for Marcellus he found out quickly that he will be fully blind if he doesn't do something. Quite honestly as a 19 or 20 year old , he didn't wanna go blind and though this was some sort of a curse from his mother or her resentment. He hated her for it as well.
One day he went home and in a manic state ended up badly grafting an eye of a great one onto his neck. He did so by continuously studying surgery and medical books and witn the help fo the churches heeling blood. It was all successful but honestly he was just EXTREMELY LUCKY.
Marcellus took Micolash's phrase " Grant us eyes " to a whole new level. Man took that literally xd
Trough the years his normal vision went completely blind but he pretended he couldn't see and pretended he had no other eye. By that stage he also became a teacher in the mensis school and by that time he replaced the old eye on his neck. He taught as a teacher for a few years and then left the school as he did not agree with some things they wanted to do anymore and he thought he could do better. In that time the school also wanted to pull off a ritual to make contact with a certian great one and that ritual ended up killing majority if not all of the school. The only one who managed to do the ritual and ended up in the other plane , now known as " Nightmare of Mensis " was Micolash. But tbh in this world he was dead so yk it depends on how you look at it.
Marcellus in those years away experimented on himself with the help of blood and great ones blood and ended up making serious progression. He believed that you didn't need only knowledge or only blood to ascend. He thought " why not both." And so for years he studied great ones and experimented on himself, grafting more eyes onto himself and injecting himself with great ones blood, making pills out of it and certian remedies to "elevate his body". And in this time you can see why what his father did to him, had consequences. He himself now believed that his holy was nothing but a vessel for him to experiemnt on.
Fun fact : Marcellus, if he isn't in his manic state, is very very bad with pain and always needs very strong anesthesia or just doesn't do it otherwise because he cannot handle it. It's funny really to see him all cut up and experimented on and then if you'd see him cut his finger or kick something by accident the man would cry and complain like a baby.
His story is less routed in the og lore character wise and his development very depends on ocs like Diana , who is @mojo-chojo FORMER Mensis Oc , who also used to date marcellus in mensis and later on meets him again as she didn't attend the ritual because she had a baby ( guess what her husband did tho and her baby was stillborn OOP , POOR LADY ).
And of course Edburt , who is a mensis scholar, who was Marcellus' teacher all the way trough mensis. Edburt belongs to @/lokifer on twitter .
Edburt also stays alive after Mensis as he was kiddnapped before the ritual happened by the choir and somehow survived.
Marcellus always had an obsession with his teacher but in school it's started out as a crush he never acted on. He was always the " teachers pet " and later on when he finds out Edburt is alive, he ends up working with him and majority of his time , lives with him to study and learn how to ascend together. All the way trough that he gets more focused on Edburt and looks at him like some sort of a " god " figure. For Marcellus , Eddie is above him, someone who taught him everything he knows today and still does. He would do absolutely anything for this man and even tho it's unhealthy, Edburt being not so sane himself and always being used and abused in his own life , likes this. However he never treats Marcellus bad. In fact he treats Marcellus really well and supports his growth and being able to ascend , he never wants to see Marcellus in pain.
Tumblr media
I kind of did this piece to show the kind of adoration and worship he has for his former teacher and I honestly rly like it.
Later on , guess what they get together even. And I think Eddie just has the cutest pet name for Marcellus which is sweetness. The running gag in our friend group between Mojo , Lokifer and me is that they needed 20 years to get together and it's honestly a thing in every au.
Even in the band au they are friends as teens and then they barely get together in their 40s.
That's all I can think of right now rly. I'd say go check lokifer ( link on this name )on twt if you wanna see or know more of Eddie. Even more so cuz I know Mojo drew him a couple of times I just dunno If they posted any.
Oh I forgot to add again almost. Marcellus is 44.
Also some details of when exactly he added some eyes might be slightly out of place because I always get the timeline events mixed up but you get the idea.
Bonus: doodle of Wigram trying to beat the living shit out of Eddie because he was under brainwash control of a great one ( hence the purple eyes glow )
Tumblr media
That's all I hope It helped and its also smth more about my own chars as I always said I'll write out their lore.
Would you tell us more about y'all's OCs? I wanna know who's who! What's the OC Tea?
okay well, i will need @kaoticshiba‘s help for this for his hunter Wigram and scholar Marcellus lore and in the meantime i will share about the twins Crow and Raven:
Tumblr media
Crow is a rather calm gentleman who likes company and talking to others, valuing people and bonds more than money, because he comes from a noble family where the environment was pretty awful. He craves physical touch but he is scared to lose anyone so he tries to not get in any serious relationship. At the end of the day, he doesn't fully trust anyone and tries to not get attached to anyone. To put it simple, he's a whore. He probably slept with almost all of his friends. He once (unknowingly) made a mistake of sleeping with someone who was already married and got into a very nasty drama. Since then he is more cautious with picking who to flirt with. Because of this unfprtunate event, he stopped attending orgies just in case he doesn't get into more stupid drama. Him and Raven come from a noble family who works with the church. He is very confident and skilled in huting. When he was young he picked up on his swordsmanship faster than his twin sister Raven. Because he is skilled in swordsmanship and charming people with his talking he also tends to get away with a lot of his bullshit. According to Raven he gets away with his talking way more than he should. Even though he was the 'better' child he still had strict parents who would be very controlling. He has always been told what to do at home and obey every single thing they say so he and Raven decided to move out together and live on their own. When they just started hunting in Yharnam, Eileen took them in as disciples. *because he was always told what to do he likes to take control in bed no matter the position.
Likes: people, drinking, sex, gossiping, mayonnaise, aged meat, napping, bullying Wigram, walnuts, brie cheese Dislikes: being bossed around, stinky people, people yelling at him, raisins or any kind of dried food with similar texture (like dried tomatoes)
Despite Raven’s resting bitch face, she is not as angry as she looks. She looks like she hates everyone but in realits she just doesn't want to admit loudly she cares about the people who are close to her. Because of this she can be blunt about some stuff and not hide her opinion about others. She can also be very strict to herself or others, but mostly herself. Because during her childhood she needed more time to learn the skills Crow learnt in no time, she got constantly compared and yelled at for not being good enough. On the contrary of Crow, who wants to be finally in control for once, Raven is tired of being the responsible one and wants to think about nothing. Like Crow, she likes being in company of others and drink and maybe gossip about others, if they're not dead. When she is alone she likes to read books so she doesn't need to think about anything else. If she is left alone with her thoughts, she just wants to stop existing. Because of this she fantasizes of being eaten up by a beast so she can end it for all, or if she survives getting scolded by Eileen, so she can feel that someone cares about her. Her fantasies often include getting punished by Eileen or getting fucked by a monster on the street.
Likes: alcohol, gossip, Eileen, beasts and monsters (especially if they have tentacles or big teeth), yoghurt, Magpie's cooking, the combination of sheep cheese and apples, Dislikes: Crow's smug face, thinking about her responsibilities, the smell of mold, pickles, people who think that are superior and look down on her
i actually have other characters too but i’ll slowly introduce them so that i dont shove everything in one post

Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy the next chapter. Love oo
Due to the past history of the OC there will be discussions alluding to past domestic abuse, please note that as it could be a trigger for some.
Warnings: implication of past domestic trauma, mistrust, testing a person's integrity, starting over, I think that's it, if I miss anything please let me know.

THE RAZOR CREST SEVEN
CHAPTER THREE
Din eyed Ann carefully, observing her character and physical traits, she was shorter than Camilla, not that that mattered, really. She seemed guarded and capable. However, he noticed how her hands were soft, too soft for someone who was about to do a lot of hard labour, and for someone who claimed to have some farm hand experience too. His eyes slowly focused on hers, he was always able to read a person’s true nature by the look in there eyes, she seemed like a kind person, albeit there was a hint of nervousness in her eyes, but more than anything there was a fire fuelling those eyes. Whether that fire had to due with something in her past or had to do with not trusting him, either way he needed to know what was behind that fire. He needed to try and push her buttons to see what kind of person he was allowing into his home.
He readjusted himself in his chair, it was time to get this so-called interview started, “You want me to believe you have experience working on a farm, with hands as smooth as yours?” He motioned to her hands.
“You can believe anything you like, I’m here because you need help and I’m willing to help”
“You always this difficult?”
“You always this mistrusting?”
“Mistrusting? Really? That’s rich. I’m here talking to a stranger, who ‘claims’ to have worked on a farm when her hands look as though they’ve been manicured on a regular basis all her life. From your perspective this is a job, but from mine, this is my life, and I’m the one who’s inviting a stranger to live here with my son. So yes, I'm mistrusting.”
He had a point, but I also had a point too. Just because my hands looked manicured didn’t mean I didn’t know how to handle hard work or that I was shy about physical work. Yes, I would be invading his house, but I was also trusting him to treat me properly. However, it seemed no matter what I possibly could say, he appeared to have his opinion set. What was the point of trying to start over, he obviously didn’t want me here.
“Listen, I understand where you're coming from. However, I’m here because Cobb thought you needed help. I’m willing to provide it, I’m a hard worker, and I’m stronger than I look. But, if you would rather question my integrity, before even giving me a chance to prove myself then that’s fine. I guess all you guys are the same, you’d rather have some burly …”
“Hold on, there Ann. Take a breath.”
His hand clenched against the armrest at her biting comment, “First, let’s get one thing straight, this is my home. I don’t know what your deal is, if maybe your last employer was a jerk or something, but you don’t get to talk to me like that in my home.”
I let out a breath, closing my eyes, quelling the anger that was beginning to boil inside of me. I was here for an interview, there was no reason for Djarin to trust me. He had every right to question my integrity and who I was, especially if I was going to live in his house. He didn’t know me, and I didn’t know him, he wasn’t my ex who questioned every little thing about me. Making me feel unworthy of being in his presence.
I shook my head, guilt slowly rising, “You’re right. I’m sorry. It’s …” I ran my hands through my hair, “Sorry, I apologize, Din. It’s just … the way you answered the door, like I wasn’t even there … then criticizing me about something as small as my hands, it … it reminded me of someone. I’m sorry, I’m more wound up then I realized.”
Din let out a deep sigh, he noticed how her fingers were wringing against Cobb’s jacket. He needed to test her, but he clearly went the wrong way about it, guilt began to settle in his chest, “No, I’m … listen I’m sorry. I was just on the phone with my brother, he's… let's just say he knows how to press my buttons and always puts me in a bad mood. I apologize for the way I greeted you. How about this, let’s start over again.”
Din reached his hand out, determined to put his best foot forward, “It’s nice to meet you, my name is Din Djarin, and you are?”
My eyes looked from his hand to his face, there was a smirk on his face that made me feel at ease. Once again, he had made me feel comfortable, I reached out and shook his hand, “It’s nice to meet you, Din Djarin, my name is Ann Jones.”
“Pleasure. Now I understand you're looking for work, at least according to what Marshall Vanth told me.”
“Yes. I’m new to the area. Marshall Vanth raved about you, he told me a few things that you were looking for with regards to the person who would take this position. Here’s a few things that I can do, I’m a pretty good cook” thanks to working as a fry cook for three months, when I first left my situation. “I know how to get rid of the most stubborn stains,” working as a laundress for five months, when I left my bad situation for a second time. “I know how to tend a garden,” helps working at a community garden for six months, when I left for good. “I can also help with tending to the animals on your ranch” absolutely no experience for that, but how hard could it be? I mean okay I did assist a veterinarian for three months, when I had to hide after my identity was found out at the community garden, but still, “you know whatever needs to be taken care of around here, and anything I don’t know, I’m willing to learn. From what Marshall Vanth was saying it seemed you were looking for someone who could help in general.”
“Yeah, I need someone who could be available 24/7, hence the live-in situation. There are times when I get called out to help with corralling lost farm animals or whatever. Either way, I could be gone anywhere from a night to a day, sometimes a few days, on the rarity it could be up to a week or two.”
“Is that what you do, track lost animals?”
“Partially. I am a skilled tracker, one of the best out here so during the hunting season I get called on a lot. Usually, I’ll take a hunting party out, find some deer or elk for them to hunt, or track the injured animals the hunters couldn’t finish, before the wolves get them, just depends.” The idea of leaving Grogu alone with Ann didn’t fill him with the same sense of dread as it usually did, when he left him with Pelli. In fact, he felt comfortable in her presence, almost at peace; for a brief moment, he didn’t think about Camilla.

[chapter 16 ||| chapter 18]
Hobi watched in amazement how the girl’s hand was sliding over the piece of fabric back and forth, turning it upside down and back up, before laying it on the table and smoothing it.
“Look.” She said proudly, as she held up the once ripped shirt. “It’s like nothing has happened.”
Despite all the advantaged that came with being a Hybrid, like having extra sensitive senses, there were also more than enough disadvantages too. Especially, when he had never had such expensive clothes to know how to handle them the right way. He had tried to find the right way out for his arms and head but ended up with his head and arm in one hole, which obviously had been too much for the fabric.
At first, he had been scared to tell someone about this accident. Not just because he had felt embarrassed, but also because he had been scared to upset someone to whom the clothes belonged. Sadly, he was like an open book to read for everyone, so Jin had noticed pretty fast that something had been odd with the fox Hybrid. When Hobi had finally told him what happened, Jin began to laugh warmly, telling him that no one would be mad at him.
When Hope had come home from her work, Hobi had bundled up all his courage to tell her all by himself, hoping that she would react in the same way as Jin. Indeed, she had smirked a little bit when he had told her the story, but she quickly had offered him her help to fix the shirt. His old owner would have never reacted in such a kind way.
When he was younger, the man who owned the circus had bought him from the people who had bred him in their laboratories. He brought the small fox boy all the way over to America, just to lock him up in a cage there. But Hobi had never complained though. After all, the man had offered him a place to sleep and something to eat every day.
But of course, he had also been a curious child back then¸ wanting to explore his surroundings and borders. That had often brought him in troubles, leaving him more often locked up in his cage than he had planned. At some point, he had learnt that it was only him who brought himself in such position and from that day on, he had just kept following the rules like he was supposed to do.
Hope meanwhile had put a small, wooden box on the table that was filled with all kinds of needles, threads and other supplies one could need for sewing. He had not even needed to wait long, because as soon as the girl had been sitting, she had already been fixing the small rip in the shirt.
While she had been worked concentrated on the blue piece of fabric, Hobi had grabbed himself a small piece of fabric out of the box as well, trying to copy her movements. Obviously, he was not as talented as her.
“Wow.” He stunned, as he laid his own piece of work down and reached out for the shirt. “I can’t even see where the rip was. Where did you lean this, Hope?”
The girl smirked slightly, while she cleaned the table.
“I was a pretty wild child.” She told him, reaching up to put the sewing box up onto the shelf on the wall. “I always came home with a lack in my trousers. At some point, my mother was tired to fix all my clothes, so she taught me to fix them myself.”
Hobi head the sadness in her voice when she talked about her mom. Beside the picture of her on Jungkook’s favourite wall, Hobi had never seen Hope’s mother in person, so he guessed that she probably was missing her much.
“Your mom was a pretty good teacher then.” He smiled widely at the girl. “Maybe she could visit us some day, so you can show her how well you fixed my shirt.”
If it was possible, the girl’s expression dropped even more, while she clutched her hands onto the mug in front of her. Hobi immediately regretted what he just had said.
“I don’ think that she will be visiting us some day.” She said, as she sadly smiled at the confused boy. “My mom died a few years ago, you know?”
Hobi sunk his ears low when he heard her words. He had never had a mom or a dad, but he could imagine the pain the small girl was feeling right now.
“I am sorry.” He just whispered, not wanting to say anything else to make her sad.
“It’s okay.” Hobi watched, as the girl’s mouth suddenly pulled up. “You know, I like thinking about her. She was a wonderful and strong woman. When I was younger, I always wanted to be like her. She was kind and courteous to everyone, even to Hybrids. She taught me to respect every living, because all of them have a soul and feelings. I am sure she would have loved to meet you guys.”
Hobi could clearly imagine the woman Hope was describing him, because it fit perfectly on the description of Hope. He was glad that her mom had taught Hope all those things, because only she was the reason, he now had a safe place to stay.
“I would have loved to meet your mom. She sounds like a wonderful person.” He carefully spoke, as he reached over and grabbed the girl’s hand that was loosely laying on the table.
It was the very first time that Hobi had made such a big step and actually touched the human girl. Her smaller hand felt so warm and soft, almost fitting perfectly into his bigger hand. It also felt different from when he was touching Jin’s or Jungkook’s hand. He had never felt those little sparkles when touching one of the boys, but he liked it though. Hope gladly accepted this small way of physical affections, squeezing his hand back.
Tumblr media
“Diner was so delicious, Jin.” Hope smiled at the older boy, before she put her plate into the sink and kissed the boy’s forehead. “Thank you for that.”
Jin stayed in the kitchen to do the dishes, while Hope walked back into the living room where the other boys were already waiting for her. They all had bombarded her with questions since she had been home again, and now they were waiting for their answers.
“Hope!” Jungkook’s ears were standing up high in the air, as he petted the spot next to him on the sofa, gesturing for her to sit down there.
As soon as her bum met with the soft fabric, the bunny had already laid his head down in her lap, while from the other side, Taehyung was now leaning his head onto her shoulder.
For the next hour, they asked her questions over questions about everything that had happened at work. They asked her about all the Hybrids she had met, about the people she would be working with and about thousands of other things that sometimes made her smirk, because sometimes they were like little kids.
When she told them about the wolf Hybrid, Namjoon, the room suddenly felt silence. All of the boys sitting around her knew fully how that poor boy felt and what he was going through.
“He must be so scared.” Jimin said, wrapping his tail around himself, as Jungkook wrapped his arm around the smaller one’s shoulder. “I wish we could help him somehow.”
The bunny kept Jimin in his arms for a little while longer, before he suddenly jumped up and ran down the hallway towards his room. Hope looked confused at Jin, who was also just shrugging his shoulders. After a few seconds, the slamming of the bunny’s bedroom door rang through the apartment, and Jungkook came running back into the living room.
“Here.” He stopped in front of Hope and held out one of his favourite Hobbit books towards her. “You can give him my favourite book. Maybe he will like it, too.”
“But, Jungkook.” Hope gasped at that sweet gesture of Jungkook, before she stood up and took the book out of his hand. “You love that Hobbit book.”
“Yeah, I do.” The bunny scratched his neck, as his cheeks turned red. “But I – I read it so many times that I can’t count them anymore. I just think that he has absolutely nothing and maybe he will feel more comfortable if he would have something he likes.”
Hope was absolutely touched by Jungkook’s gesture. She knew how much he loved that book and how sad he had been when he had almost given it away a few months ago. She had always known that he had a very big heart when it comes to other people he cared for.
“I will give it to him. Thank you, Kookie.” She whispered, as she stood on her tippy toes and hugged the taller boy tightly, before pressing him a big kiss on his cheek.
“Okay, guys.” Jin announced, looking at his watch just to realized that it was already late at night. He yawned and stretched his arms, tail and ears out at the same time, which looked pretty funny. “I will go to bed. I am pretty tired. Goodnight.”
He went around and gave Taehyung and Jimin a linger hug, Jungkook and Hope a kiss and Hobi a lovely pet on his head, before he went into his room. Next were Taehyung and Jungkook who wanted to play a few more video games in the tiger’s room, and also Hobi stated that he would go to bed, leaving only Jimin and the girl back.
The white tigers sat shyly at the edge of the couch, with his tail wrapped around his legs and a slight shade of red on his cheeks. He looked up at the girl for a second, before he carefully moved closer towards her on the sofa. When he was close enough, he carefully put his head on her shoulder and laid his tail in her lap for the very first time.
“Do you think you can help that wolf in your company.” Jimin carefully asked her, as she begin to stroke his fluffy tail.
“I hope I can.” She whispered back, leaning her head onto his. “But he needs to trust me in the first place, and this needs a little more time, you know?”
Jimin just hummed at her answer.
“I think he is lucky to have you as his lawyer now.” He suddenly smiled. “I know you will safe him, just like you saved us.”
Hope closed her eyes for a moment, thinking back at the time where she first met Jimin and Taehyung. Both tigers had definitely brought some changes into that family, but in a good way of course. Suddenly, she remembered the conversation from earlier, when Namjoon had asked her about their adoption.
“Jimin.” She mumbled into his thick hair. “There is something I want to ask you. You know, Taehyung and you have been living here for a few weeks now, and I think the both of you fit in in our crazy home pretty well. If you would be okay with it, I would like to adopt you and your brother.”
Immediately, Jimin’s head shot up from her shoulder. He looked with wide eyes at the girl, before he nodded wildly and threw himself onto the her, hugging her tightly and whispering ‘thank you’ a thousand times. This sudden movement caused both of them to fall over and fully onto the couch. When both young adults realized in which position, they were now in, with the girl on her back and Jimin over her, they both turned bright red.
“I am – “
“Sorry.”
They both stuttered at the same time, before they broke out in a laugher together. Hope looked up into Jimin’s eyes when she had calmed down again. From the first day, Hope had adored those beautiful, dark orbs that would form into halfmoons when he was laughing or smiling. Slowly, she brought her left hand up towards his thick hair, driving it towards the back of his head and back towards his cheek.
Her heart was pounding in her chest like crazy, when Jimin’s face came closer and closer, until their noses were touching each other and their lips just inches apart. They stayed like that for another few seconds, before the boy was the first to make the move forward.
The kiss was shy but full of emotions. They lips stayed still on each other, before Hope carefully started to move. After a few seconds, Jimin also began to press his lips on her stronger and braver, before, after a few minutes, they both ran out of breath and let go of each other.
Hope didn’t know if it was possible that her face was even redder now, but before she had the chance to say something stupid that could ruin the moment, Jimin pushed himself off the sofa and pulled her with him.
She gasped slightly from the sudden movement but giggled at the same time when Jimin pulled her close towards his chest in the middle of the living room. She leant her head against the white tiger’s chest, while Jimin wrapped his arms and tail around the smaller girl. The pair was now standing in the middle of the living room, rocking slightly from side to side, doing some twists and turns from time to time.
“When did you learn to dance?” Hope whispered into the comfortable silence.
“I watched a video on the YouTube today.” He whispered back, rubbing his nose against her hair. “One day, I want to take you out on a dance date, you know?”
Surprised by the tiger’s words, Hope lifted her head and looked into Jimin’s eyes. Never in her life had someone wated to take her out on a date, and the fact that Jimin was asking her out in his cute, innocent way, let her heart swell with pride a love.
“I would love to go on a dance date with you, Jimin.”

“Okay, I don’t know what you did or how you did it but somehow, you got Namjoon to talk to you – willingly?” Laura was walking next towards the smaller girl down the hallways of the company. Hope just nodded proudly, clutching the book Jungkook had given her for Namjoon tightly under her arm. “And now you want to give him – a hobbit book?”
She looked confused at the book and then back up at Hope.
“Yes, Jungkook thought it would be a nice gesture to give him that.” Hope simply replied. “I think Namjoon just needs time. He will talk to us at some point.”
Laura hummed in response, before she cocked her eyebrows up and began to smirk slightly.
“Is Jungkook your boyfriend?” She teased the smaller girl.
Hope’s face immediately went red. Though both of them had already kissed, they never decided on what their relationship would change after that. There were also the other boys that Hope had takin inside her heart.
“I – no.” She just smiled, her face still red. “He is my – Hybrid – at home. We – “
“You have a Hybrid at home?” Laura suddenly stopped walking, before she grabbed Hope’s shoulder and turned her around so she could face the taller girl.
“I even have 5 Hybrids home.” Hope almost didn’t dare to say it out loud, not knowing how to interpretate Laura’s facial expression.
“You have 5 Hybrids home?!” Laura’s voice was now loudly bouncing through the hallways, before she began to smile widely. “Girl, you are crazy, but I love it! I think you will achieve great things in that world, Hope.”
Hearing those words from someone who already had much more experiences than her made Hope proud. She wanted people to see that there was no need to be a superhero or to be powerful to change something. Everyone who had the will can change something, everywhere and every time.
Together, both girls took the same way as the previous day until they reached the interrogation rooms. Laura told her that she would wait outside, not wanting to inhibit the progress Hope had achieved the previous day.
Taking a last deep breath, Hope carefully knocked at the door, before she pushed it open and entered the door towards the interrogation room. Like the previous day, Namjoon was standing at the window with his back turned towards the door. He didn’t turn around when she entered the room, but Hope could clearly see his ears twitching into her direction for the split of a second.
“Good morning, Namjoon.” She calmy said, before making her way around the table. “How are you feeling this morning.”
The boy didn’t reply though. He just kept looking outside the window. It was one of those beautiful winter mornings in New York. The sun was just rising behind the skyline of the big city, flowing the streets with it’s warm and golden sun beams. The small park that had been created between the big building of the company and the smaller building where the clients were living was shining with all kind of golden colours.
When she looked at the boy’s profile, she could clearly see that he was looking at that scenario outside as well. But in difference to her, he was not looking like would be amazed. He was yearning for seeing the world outside and not just through a window.
Suddenly, Hope remembered the small gift that Jungkook had asked her to give to Namjoon. She carefully pulled the book from under her arm and placed it on the window sill, before pushing it into Namjoon’s direction. The tall boy noticed her gesture and looked confused from the small book upwards to the girl.
“The boys at home wanted me to give you this.” She told him. “It’s Jungkook’s favourite book, but he said that you can have it. Maybe if you are bored you can try and read it. It’s pretty good.”
Namjoon was now looking with wide eyes at the girl in front of him, as he wrapped his tail tightly around his right leg.
“You told your Hybrids about me?” He cocked an eyebrow up.
“Yes, I told them about you.” Hope carefully replied, no sure if he was okay with it or not. “I mean – I just told them that I was working with you from now on, nothing more. We are a family, you know? We tell each other everything.”
The wolf Hybrid sunk his ear down, before he whispered a small ‘thank you’ and turned his attention back towards the morning sun, sighing slightly. The room fell back into silence, as both young adults were looking out of the window again.
Hope noticed that Namjoon was still trying to process everything that had happened since the previous day, but she would give him all the time he needed, even if that meant that they would both spend the whole day with just looking out of the window.
“I sometimes whish that I just could walk out of this room like you do.” He suddenly stated after a few minutes of silence. “But I can’t. I need to stay here and wait for the day they lock me away.”
Like the previous day, Namjoon’s voice sounded tired and powerless, without any hint of emotions.
“We could go outside – “ She said back, but Namjoon was already shaking his head.
“No.” He cut her off in her mid-sentence. “People don’t trust me. They would never let me walk around just like that and if, I need to wear those stupid hand cuffs and foot locks.”
Before his could voice get louder, Namjoon closed his eyes and took a deep breath. His hands were holding onto the window sill tightly, as if he was trying really hard to not burst out. Hope was shocked by all those bad emotions he obviously carried inside himself.
She didn’t want to make him feel like she would pity him. That was not what he needed right now. He needed to realize that there were people on this world who truly wanted to help him, and that one of those people was already standing in front of him. Hope excused herself, before she quickly walked towards the door and peeked her head outside, gesturing for Laura come closer.
“Did you make any progress?!” She whispered-screamed, as she excitingly stepped closer.
Hope took a glance back at the boy, who was still looking outside the window. Maybe he was not looking into their direction, but Hope saw that he had his right ear turned towards the door.
“You can talk normally, Laura. There is no need to whisper.” Hope said in a normally volume, leaving a red shade on Laura’s face. “I wanted to ask you something. Is there a chance that Namjoon and I can take a walk across the site without him wearing any cuffs?”
Laura looked at the smaller girl in shock, before she snapped out of her state, shaking her head carefully.
“I am sorry.” She said. “But he showed aggressive behaviour. I wish I could change that, but it is not in my hands.”
Hope sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. Namjoon would never open up while being locked in that small room.
“Can’t you call your boss, please?” She tried again. “It would be just for a little while.”
“Hope, I can’t just call him and – “
“Laura, please. I take the full responsibility.” The blonde girl was almost begging Laura by now.
The two girl kept staring at each other for another few seconds, before Laura gave in first and sighed heavily. She hesitantly took her phone out if her purse and dealt her boss’s number, giving Hope a playfully angry look, before she energetically discussed with him for a few minutes. Luckily for the blond haired girl, their boss was a nice man, so he allowed her and Namjoon to leave the building.
Of course, with his extra sensitive ear Namjoon had already heard what you had asked Laura. He hesitated at first, not moving when Hope held the door open for the both of them. His eyes flickered between the window and the open door, before he carefully made his way around the table, his tail still wrapped around his leg.
The walk through the company was silent, but Hope felt the tension falling from the taller boy’s shoulders, until they finally reached the door that lead them outside. The fresh air hit the girl’s face when she took the first step outside. Even though winter had already begun, the morning sun was warming the air up, making it comfortable to walk around.
When Hope turned her head to look at Namjoon, she saw him doing the same. He had closed his eyes, letting the sun warming his face up and taking deep breath of the clean air. Hope knew that it seemed like a simple thing to just take a walk outside, but she had learnt from all her boys that she had taken those simple things for granted for too long.
Nothing she had done or what she had ever possessed in her life was normal for all people around the world. Maybe she had been lucky so far, but also she needed to be thought that ever moment in life needed to be appreciated, because other people didn’t have the luck like she did.
That day, there were no other words spoken between Namjoon and the girl. Just the situation as its own was enough to make another development in their relationship towards each other. They were just able to enjoy the moment together. No pressure, no words, no worries.

Baby Boy Chapter 8 | Lando Norris
Summary: Milana Navratilova is the best friend of Victoria Verstappen, and is for lack of a better word, a minx. She can pull anyone into bed with her at any time. So when she attends the Austrian Grand Prix with Victoria, the drivers make for good bedfellows. Until she finds a man who makes her finally feel like herself. Her baby boy.
Taglist: @its-astrotea-love
Warnings: smut, swearing, non-con kiss (will be a chapter warning for that one), OC is a w h o r e and i love her.
Tumblr media
Victoria and Milana walked through the bustling paddock on Thursday, reporters, journalists, PR reps, and drivers were all running around to fill their media duties, as after today, the sole focus would be on getting the best results before the short summer break. Victoria took a turn to visit Lewis in the Mercedes hospitality, and a few moments after, Milana spotted Lando sitting at a table on his own outside of his own team’s gorgeous facility. Milana walked up behind him, and after spotting how tensely he was sitting, she chuckled to herself - she was going to scare the shit out of him. Ensuring her footsteps were silent, she snuck up behind the driver and slid her hands over his shoulders and down to his chest, whispering a husky ‘boo’ into his ear as he leapt forward and squealed. Milana laughed loudly, the first time Lando had heard her laugh this hard, with no worries. She calmed down, a few giggles still escaping her maroon lips as she ushered him to sit back where he was.
“You’re mean.” Lando pouted, his voice sounding like a sulking child’s. Milana’s heart skipped a beat, admiring how adorable the boy seemed to be without even trying.
“I’m sorry, baby boy. I’ll make it up to you.” Milana apologised, beginning to rub his shoulders with her small hands. Lando’s shoulders immediately relaxed, his breath coming out in one long sigh as he forgot about the stress of the upcoming weekend, and simply focused on the euphoria this small, foreign woman was giving him.
“Fuck, you’re so good at that. Don’t stop.” Lando almost moaned. Milana felt her heart beat a little quicker, her stomach fluttering. She had never been affected by praise, as many of her previous bedfellows had attempted it, and it just never seemed to do anything for her. But from Lando, God it was so much better. Milana remained quiet, occasionally humming a song Victoria had played a few times over the few days they had been in Austria together. Her hands continued kneading into the tense muscles in Lando’s neck and shoulders.
“Thank you Mila. I didn’t know I needed that. Come sit down, I wanna get to know you more.” Lando stopped her after another few moments, rolling his neck around and sighing in relief. Milana smiled at the nickname, the only one she had ever been given from her name was Lana, so Lando having his own name for her released another round of butterflies into her stomach.
“There isn’t much to know, unfortunately. I’m pretty boring, baby boy.” Milana told him, taking a seat on the outdoor chair adjacent to his at the small square table.
“Why do you give everyone pet names? I don’t think I’ve heard you call anyone their names when you talk to them.” Lando’s head was tilted like a puppy, those light eyes of his filled with curiosity.
“It always made me feel special when I was younger when someone would call me pet names. I guess I just got so comfortable with them that I don’t really see the romanticism behind it anymore? But obviously, some I reserve for special people. Keep the integrity.” Milana spoke, looking off to the busy thoroughfare of the paddock.
“What are your special ones then?” Lando probed, his main purpose was to determine whether or not his name was sacred.
“Love, it’s one of my absolute favourites to be called, but not many people use it anymore. But other than that, it's just the baby’s. Obviously, Victoria is ‘baby girl’, and she calls me babe so it’s kind of our thing. And then, baby boy.” Milana’s face lit up as she imagined being called love by someone who truly meant it, but her voice got quieter as she continued. Lando heard everything though, and smirked when he saw just how shy Milana became when she revealed the significance of his pet name.
“Ok, enough with the pet names. I know literally zero about you, I should be able to ask questions too.” Milana pouted slightly, a very rare sight as she was usually smirking or biting her lip. Lando couldn’t resist her when she looked at him like that, her dark eyes staring up at him, bottom lip slightly pushed out, it made him weak at the knees. Lando nodded, so Milana began trying to think of a question to ask the man.
“Why do you race F1?” Milana asked after a few beats of silence. Lando’s eyebrows shot up, he wasn’t expecting a question like that, more along the lines of ‘what’s your favourite colour’ but he couldn’t complain, playing the standard 21 questions with girls got boring after ninth grade.
“The control. I am the only one that has the control to operate that car. It’s me. I thrive off the pressure, if I fuck up, it’s on me. But it's exhilarating, having all of the power, being the one in charge. It fuels me. There isn’t much else in the world I can control like I can an F1 car.” Lando’s fists were clenched tightly as he began talking about control, and Milana could see part of herself in that.
“You’re really cute when you talk about something you’re passionate about.” Milana stated, and Lando’s head snapped around to look at her, she looked completely comfortable with telling him he was cute, whereas Lando’s face was hot like fire, and he knew he probably looked ridiculous.
“Ok, so what do you do?” Lando moved on, his face was still hotter than hell, but he was determined to move on and try to come to terms with the fact that the most beautiful woman he had ever met thought he was cute.
“I work in an art gallery in Prague, and I’m studying anthropology.” Milana replied, unimpressed with her current occupations. She just wanted to be out in the anthropology field already, she loved everything she was learning and just wanted to put it into practice.
“How old are you? I just realised I have absolutely no idea.” Lando blurted, it was the first thing he thought of when Mila mentioned she was still at university.
“I’m 19.” She replied simply. Lando’s entire head moved forward, as if to say ‘I’m sorry, I don’t think I heard you, can you please say whatever insane thing you just said again?’. Milana giggled at his perplexed expression. Lando for sure thought the Czech was at least a year older than him, but now he has to find out that she’s actually two years younger.
“You’re so much more mature than I was when I was 19. I was still struggling to cook food for myself without burning the entire house down.” Lando laughed, and Milana couldn’t help but laugh along with the sounds of joy that made her heart flutter. Lando truly could not believe that the woman who was laughing freely in front of him was the same woman he met three days ago who seemed to be the flirtier, female version of the Iceman, Kimi Raikkonen. He preferred this bright, cheery girl over the seductive woman he met, because this was Mila, not Milana.
Their laughter faded away, Milana looked back toward the flood of people still moving back and forth between the makeshift buildings, and Lando just looked at her.
“Would you like to go for dinner with me?” Lando’s mouth seemed to be quicker than his brain, because when Milana looked at him in shock, his words caught up to him. Milana saw how shocked he was in himself, and nodded, a bright smile curling her lips. Lando nodded back, a large smile and a nervous giggle urged him out of his chair, waving to Milana as he ran to the Williams garage to ask George what to do.

Unexpected Guest, One Shot
Thank you for the prompt I hope you like it! I am always honoured that you trust me to write your beloved OC! toshisurtsdottir submitted: Toshi lives far away in the forest somewhere in Scotland. After Loki is defeated in Avengers, he uses his last bit of energy to teleport away and hide from Heimdal. He ends up unconscious in front of Toshis hut.
-
Toshi was minding her own business in her garden at home. She lived deep the forest, in the highlands. Where she finally had peace, away from everyone who could cause her harm.
She was tending to one of her rose bushes, watering them, they were in full bloom and she loved them.
But suddenly, a large being from above came shooting out from a portal in the sky and landed right on top of her rose bush.
She was stunned for a moment, then she took in what exactly had fallen. It was a man. He was wearing armour, a lot of leather and some metal. She frowned as she took him in, then she realised who exactly it was. She had seen enough paintings of the Gods during her childhood to know when she was looking at one.
It was Loki. Prince Loki, of Asgard.
At first, she was confused. Then she was furious. How dare he land not only in her garden, but on her roses!
He wasn’t awake, she wasn’t sure if he was dead or just passed out. So she tipped her watering can up and poured water over him. But that didn’t work, he didn’t move.
‘Maybe he is dead.’ She muttered to herself and crouched down to check his pulse. There was a pulse, so he must’ve just hit his head hard, she thought.
Thinking it wouldn’t be good to leave a God outside her home, she dragged him inside. She could’ve lifted him, she had the strength, but she didn’t want to. Why not let his clothes get dusty and dirty? Since he had ruined her roses.
She left him on the floor by her sofa and went back outside to try and salvage what she could of her rose bush. And to keep an eye outside to make sure no one was looking for him, she didn’t want him to draw attention to where she was living.
When she went back inside a little while later, Loki groaned as he sat up, looking confused as he looked around him. Then he locked eyes with Toshi and he eyed her suspiciously.
‘Where am I?’
‘You’re in my house. In Scotland. Midgard.’ Toshi drawled, folding her arms over her chest as she stared at him.
Loki narrowed his eyes at her. ‘Still on Midgard… Why are you here, you are not of this realm?’
‘I could ask you the same thing.’ Toshi said.
Loki went to move and he hissed. ‘Ow.’ He reached to the back of his neck and pulled out a small thorn. ‘What the…’
‘You landed in my rose bush.’ Toshi hissed.
Loki sat up more and wiped his face, realising he was wet. ‘Why am I wet?’
‘I will say it again. You landed in my rose bush.’ Toshi snarled.
Loki narrowed his eyes at her and slowly raised up to his feet. He made a slight movement with his head and had himself dry with his magic.
‘Why are you here?’ He asked and stalked over to her, then he started circling her, taking in her appearance.
‘More to the point, why are you here?’ Toshi asked and she leapt away from him, to get away from his scrutinising. She noticed him looking at her scars, especially.
‘I am… in need of a safe haven for a little while.’ Loki admitted.
Toshi raised an eyebrow at him. ‘Well, you can’t stay here. I don’t want any trouble and I certainly don’t want anyone to come looking for you here.’
Loki glared at her. ‘Do you know who you are talking to? I am Loki, God of As’
‘Yeah, yeah. I know. God of Asgard. Prince Loki. Yadda yadda.’ She mocked him with her hands and headed towards the door.
‘Where are you from?’ Loki queried, intrigued.
Toshi sighed and turned back to face him. ‘If you must know, I am from Muspelheim.’
Loki’s eyes widened in realisation and slight awe. ‘You’re a fire giant?’
Toshi sighed and nodded.
‘Wait… You’re Toshi? Surtr’s daughter? The one who ran away?’ He said, slightly excited that he was meeting her. He’d heard all about her.
‘How do you know of me?’ She asked cautiously.
Loki sat down on the edge of her sofa, ignoring the look on her face at the fact he was making himself at home. But his tone was softer. ‘When you ran away, I remember your father and your sister, Mirtria, coming to one of the celebrations on Asgard. I overheard Frigga speaking to your father and he was saying that you had ran away.’
Toshi nodded slowly and sat down on the sofa opposite him. ‘Let me guess, he put on a fake sad face and acted like I meant so much to him?’
‘No, actually.’ Loki paused a moment. ‘Quite the opposite. Frigga swiftly left to talk to someone else, she is not one for listening to a parent talk badly of their child. For some reason, I always wanted to meet you after hearing of you. I had a feeling that something wasn’t quite right, your sister was… uhm, a delight.’ He scoffed and pulled a face, making Toshi laugh a little. ‘I think Odin and your father was trying to get us together, I managed to pawn her off to Thor. Though even he, with his tiny brain, realised to stay away from her.’
‘Are you saying all this just so I let you hide out here?’ Toshi asked.
‘No, I’m not. I know what it’s like to be an outcast, to be born a runt. Small for a giant.’ Loki said honestly. ‘But being able to stay for a while would be a plus.’ He grinned charmingly.
-
Toshi had not wanted to let Loki stay, but she ended up unable to say no...
She found herself having to share a bed with the God of mischief. Since he refused to sleep on the sofa, claiming it was no use for a God. Toshi was not going to give up her bed for him, so they ended up sharing.
It kind of helped that they had a few drinks that evening. And it kind of helped that they had shared more of their lives with one another, finding they had quite a lot in common and sympathising with each other. The main one being overshadowed by their sibling.
What also kind of helped was the fact that they started kissing and feeling each other up on the sofa. Which then quickly progressed to the bedroom.
They both fought for dominance, Toshi tried to get on top of Loki but he growled at her and bit her neck, making her yield as he pinned her down underneath him with his strength and wrapped a hand around her throat, keeping her in place.
‘Good girl.’ He purred when she finally gave in and stopped fighting to be on top, making her entire body shudder in delight at his praise.
Loki wanted to take his time to devour her, but his lust raged on and he was unable to contain himself. He used his skilful silver tongue for a while, to make sure she was wet enough. First tracing some of her scars that were on her body, before delving into her cunt and making her dance on the tip of his tongue. When he had her screaming his name in pleasure, he finally crawled up over the top of her and thrust into her, filling her with his cock.
Her sharp nails dug into his back, leaving deep marks. Loki bit her neck and shoulder in return, marking her as his on the outside as well as the inside, as his thrusts became more erratic and harder.
It was frenzied and rushed, but the both of them came almost together in the end. Loki finished first, emptying into her just before she started clenching hard around him. Her eyes rolled back in her head in pure ecstasy.
They were both sweating and panting when their bodies stilled, Loki remained within her as he let the weight of his body rest on top of her. Knowing she could take it. She loved feeling the comfort of him on top of her, oddly it was really soothing and made her feel safe.
‘For what it’s worth.’ Loki said as he nuzzled her cheek, making her smile. ‘I think you are far better off away from Muspelheim.’ He hummed.
Toshi smiled and squeezed her arms around him tightly, not wanting to let him go. ‘For what it’s worth... I forgive you for crushing my rose bush.’ She whispered, making Loki chuckle.

Chapter 7 Part 3
Tumblr media
Jake woke a few hours later, his face buried in Stella’s hair, one arm draped over her waist, the other was beneath her, laying just below the pillow. He shifted slightly, before he sighed a little at the pressure in his bladder telling him he needed to pee. As gently and as quietly as he could, he untangled himself from Stella, who was sleeping soundly and turned, swinging his legs off the side of her bed.
The clock on the dresser was telling him it was only five minutes to midnight, but all things considered they had gone to bed fairly early, both of them wiped out after an emotionally and physically charged few days, or weeks even, since Pooch’s wedding. He cracked his neck, rolling it across his shoulders as he padded into the bathroom, yawning. Once he’d sorted himself out, he washed his hands and ran them through his messed up hair, scratching at his bare chest, before he made his way to the stairs. He headed down, blinking himself awake as he went. He couldn’t see particularly well without his glasses which lay on the bedside table, but it wasn’t like it mattered all things considered. He knew his way around the Stevenson house with his eyes closed. However, as he reached the bottom he immediately noticed the sliver of light coming from the kitchen meaning that someone was in there, and given that Stella was in bed, it could only be her mom.
Unless they’d been broken into. But then, what kind of burglar turns on the lights?
Jake opened the door and peered in. Sure enough, Jules looked up at him from where she had just finished folding some ironing and she smiled.
“Hey, Jake. Everything okay?”
“Yeah, just wanted to grab a drink.” He nodded. “That okay?”
“Course it is. In fact, I was just about to make myself a camomile tea before I headed up to bed. Do you want one?”
Jake could have quite happily grabbed a bottle of water, he wasn’t all that bothered about the tea, but something on Jules’ face as she waited for his answer told him to take her up on her offer. So he did with a thanks, and she then nodded to a smaller piles of clothes on the table. Jensen noticed that in true mom form, she had indeed washed and dried their soaking clothes from before.
“Put your T-shirt on.”
“Me being topless in your kitchen making you nervous, Jules?” He grinned as he reached for it and she scoffed, folding away the ironing board.
“The pair of you came back soaked before, I don’t want you catching a chill.”
With a smile Jake pulled it over his head, the familiar smell of Stella’s laundry detergent hitting his senses. It was one she used herself, she’d never changed it, not once, always saying it reminded her of home.
The kitchen fell silent as Jules boiled the kettle and made them the tea, before she returned to the table and placed one down in front of him.
“Thanks.” He smiled at her as she sat in the chair opposite him. He yawned a little before he took a sip of his drink.
“Am I keeping you up, sweetheart?” Jules asked and Jensen shook his head.
“No, it’s just been a long few weeks that’s all.”
“Yeah, I know.” Jules looked at him. “Stella’s been exhausted.” She took a sip of her drink, her eyes not leaving him. “And upset.”
Jake sighed, “I know.”
Jules studied him again for a moment before she leaned back in her chair. “Suppose it doesn’t matter, it’s done with for now but, are you sure the pair of you know what you’re doing?”
Jake frowned a little. “In what way?”
“Well, I mean she was with Evan for six months,” Jules held her hand up to stop Jensen as he was about to cut in, “she might not have loved him, yes, I heard all about that, but she was fond of him. To be honest we all were and I certainly don’t approve of her cheating on him with you in Mexico.” She looked at him, her eyebrows raised and Jake felt his cheeks flushing with heat. “You should know by now, Jacob, there are no secrets between me and my girls, well, not many that is.”
“I’m not sorry about that night.” Jensen shook his head. “I mean, I’m sorry it upset Stella as much as it did and I’m not particularly proud of my behaviour, any of it over the last few twelve months or so if I’m honest but…”
“What’s done is done. I guess I’m just a little worried that she’s finished it with him and barely a fortnight later the pair of you are back together.”
“I know how it looks, Jules. Honestly I do. And I’m not stupid enough to think that things can just go back to how they were. We got a lot to talk about, a lot to work through, but I’d never forgive myself if I didn’t try again. And she’s given me a second…or third…whatever, she’s given me another chance here and I wanna give it the best shot I can.”
“Well, Jake, you never do anything half-cocked that’s for sure.” Jules gave him a soft smile as she sipped her drink. “And I don’t need to ask you if you love her, because I know you do, you always have. But please, show it to her. Don’t take her for granted. Ever again.”
Jensen sighed and looked at Jules. “I know, I fucked up and if I was in your shoes I wouldn’t be happy about her taking me back either…”
“I’m not unhappy about it.”  Jules cut him off. “How can I be? She loves you, and you make her happy. But I just don’t want to see her hurt again. Because if you do, Jake, then we," she pointed between the two of them, "will fall out. Big time.”
The threat might have appeared to anyone else as innocuous, but Jake knew the undercurrent it held. He’d never fallen out with Jules before, even when he and Stella had split up, and for her to threaten that made him uncomfortable. Momma bear was in full on protective mode over her cub, and he couldn’t blame her one single bit.
“I promise you, I don’t ever want to lose her again.” Jake shook his head, giving a little shrug. “She’s my Stel.”
“Good because you’re my little boy, you know this.” Jules smiled. “I watched you grow up as much as I did her, and I didn’t like seeing you both fall apart.”
“I know. And that’s on me.” Jensen hung his head a little, his hands wrapping around the now almost empty mug in front of him on the table as he swallowed and raised his head to look Julie in the eyes. “But if I have to spend the rest of my life making it up to her, I will.”
At that Julie smiled, and nodded before she cleared her throat and made a point of looking at the clock on the wall. “It’s late.”
It was her way of telling him the conversation was over, Jake knew Julie well enough to understand that, so he nodded and stood up as she did the same, collecting his mug. He watched her deposit them in the sink and as she turned back to him he cocked his head slightly to one side.
“Jules?”
“Yeah?”
“Can I hug you?” He grinned, holding his arms out.
The woman chuckled, “there’s always a Julie hug waiting for you, Jacob.”
With a grin Jake stepped towards her and wrapped his arms tight around her as she did the same, her hands softly rubbing at his back in the maternal manner she had off to a tee.
“Now, go on.” She stepped back as he released her. “And take those dry clothes up with you.”
With a smile, Jake collected the items in his arms and looked at Julie. “You know, it’s only since leaving home I actually appreciate how great moms are.”
“Huh,” Julie gave a low huff of a laugh, “you’re growing up my dear Jacob.”
“Had to happen eventually I suppose.” Jensen wrinkled his nose.
“Well, better late than never.” Julie arched her eyebrow, the resemblance between her and Stella in that moment was striking, even though from photos Jake had seen, he’d always thought Stella took after her dad mostly. Same colour eyes, nose shape, hair colour, but now…well, there was no doubting Julie was her mom.
With a smile he patted the jeans on the top of the pile in his arms. “Night Jules.”
“Night Jake, oh, usual for breakfast?” She asked and Jake paused in the doorway, turning to face her.
“You know, I was actually thinking I’d make Stel toast in bed, it’s been a while since I have.”
Julie smiled “Well you know where it all is.”
“I do. Hey, might even make you some, you know I’ve always wanted to get into your bedroom.” He quipped and at that she laughed.
”Get lost before I slap you.”
Chuckling to himself, Jensen headed back upstairs and into Stella’s room, placing the clothing down on the dresser. Stella had turned over whilst he’d been gone, facing the side of the bed he’d occupied half an hour or so previously and with a smile he pulled off his tee-shirt and slid back into the covers, as Stella gave a little murmur and reached out for him. He slid his arms around her, pulling her close, her head tucked under his chin as one of her legs slipped in between his, wrapping herself round him with the manner of a koala bear.
“Where did you go?” She asked, her voice rough with sleep, her eyes not opening.
“I was reconnecting with my future mother in law.” He replied, dropping a kiss to her head.
“What?” she asked, giving a little yawn and Jake chuckled.
“Nothing, go back to sleep.”
Jensen closed his eyes, his hands softly rubbing at Stella’s back over the top of the thin camisole top she had on, and eventually he felt her completely relax in his hold and it wasn’t long before he too drifted back off into a peaceful sleep.
****
When Stella woke up the next morning, the sun had barely started to peek over the horizon. Her face was pressed into Jake’s back, her arms wrapped around him from behind as she curled around him, her leg tangled between his. She pressed a soft kiss on his back before she stirred, stretching a little.
Jake gave a soft sigh as she moved a little behind him, his arm reaching up to hers which was slung over his hips, hand resting on his abs. “Morning, Stelly.” His voice was raspy, thick with sleep as he raised her hand to his mouth, pressing a gentle kiss to the inside of her wrist.
“Morning Jakey. Did I wake you?”
“Not really.” He yawned. With a stretch of his limbs he moved and Stella shuffled back a little to allow him the room to roll onto his side, facing her, that adorable goofy grin spreading across his face.
Stella gave him a shy smile, her cheeks tinged ever so slightly with pink. “Hi.”
“Hi, baby.” He chuckled, instantly understanding why she was feeling that way. Whilst this sure as hell wasn’t the first time they’d woken up together, it felt different, like this was something new that was just starting. And in a way it was, their second shot at something serious. And just the mere thought of that filled his chest with warmth.
“You sleep well?” She continued and Jake smiled softly, reaching up to tuck her sleep mussed hair behind her ears.
“I always do when you’re with me.” He whispered and her eyes sparkled in the early morning light as she looked at him, a soft expression on her face as he felt her react to the intimate touch, her body shivering ever so slightly, her chest hitching. “Did you sleep okay?”
“Sorta, I erm, I was dreaming all this wasn’t real, that you and I had fought really hard and had gone our separate ways and... I was so relieved when I woke up next to you.” Her words were hurried and Jake shook his head, his eyes locked into hers.
“Not a chance, Stel. I told you, I’m not gonna let you go again, I love you.”
At that he leaned in, his lips pressing to hers in a slow, gentle kiss as his strong arms wrapped around her, one sliding under her neck, the other over her waist.
She grinned against his mouth. “Say it again, I like to hear you say it.”
“I-“ kiss, “love-“ another kiss, “you.”
Her body melted into his as his tongue dipped into her mouth. With a soft, yet strong movement he rolled them gently so Stella was on her back, hovering over her, caging her with his legs as his arms continued to hold her close.
“I love you too, Jake.” She whispered as she broke the kiss, her nose bumping his gently and he smiled, his lips gently pecking hers again before he moved down, nipping at her jawline softly.
His lips softly moved down her neck, gentle kisses, like the flutter of a butterfly's wing. Jake wanted to enjoy each and every place on her body, from her cheeks to her sweetest parts, he wanted nothing more than to feel the way her body would cling to him. To feel something more than what he'd been feeling for so long. And he was going to take his sweet time in showing Stella just how much he truly loved her.
His gentle kisses moved back up to that spot where her jaw met her ear and he softly nudged it with his nose in between kisses. "Let me love on you, Stelly."
Stella gave out a squeak at the deep baritone of his words, the hot breath in her ear and she tilted her hips into his as he led over her. Jake pulled away, a slow and soft smile spreading over his lips.
His arms moved from where they had been holding her and his hands gripped at the hem of the oversized tee she was wearing and he tugged it upwards, Stella arching her back, just enough so he could pull it over her head. Caging her in with his arms, he bent his neck down and captured her lips again in a kiss, long and languid, slowly rolling his tongue around with hers. Breaking free, and using his strength to stay over her, Jake continued to kiss down her neck, reaching her collarbone and giving the protrusion a nip, before kissing the sting away.
One hand covered a breast, kneading the flesh with his palm while his mouth took in the opposite nipple. His warm tongue lolled over her hardened peak and he gave a little tug between his teeth, drawing a quiet groan from her mouth. He kissed between the valley of her breasts and up her sternum before his mouth replaced his hand and paid the same attention to her other nipple and breast, his opposite hand now kneading the other.
Stella's breathy, soft moans were music to Jake’s ears. Her noises were soft, delicate because they both knew where they were and how quiet they had to be. As Jake took his time with her, Stella relished on this soft moment. Her skin felt like she was in a bath of fizzy bubbles, tingling and popping with each touch or stroke.
Her hands gently gripped at his spiky, sleep messed hair as she sighed with pleasure, her head tipped back against the pillow as she arched off the mattress into his touch.
Jake continued to make moves downward along Stella's body, her tummy his blank canvas to work her over with. Sporadic kisses over her taught middle, a dip of a tongue in her belly button had her whispering for release but Jake wasn't through with her, no, this was all about Stella and giving her all he could and more.
He was rock hard, his dick visibly straining his sweats and he was grateful he hadn't worn his boxers to bed thanks to them being in the laundry due to them being soaked to the skin the previous night. His body moved along the mattress, as he moved downward over Stella's body, his broad chest now hovering over her hot and wet centre as his lips kissed in a horizontal pattern along the waistband of her panties.
Thick fingers curled around the hips of Stella's underwear and pulled the material away, Stella tilting her hips upward to assist. Jake sat back on his knees as he finished the task, tossing the panties to the floor of her room. It was now, when all he could do was fight back the knot in his belly, the swell of his chest, that his deep blue eyes looked at all of her. And suddenly, he was a little nervous, but desperately needed to feel her.
He toyed with taking his time with her or just going for it, and when Stella spoke to him at just above a whisper he knew his answer.
"Jakey, please."
His sweats were down to his thighs in a snap and he palmed his cock in hand, stroking himself just a little as he lined himself up with her. The feel of her wet outer folds against the velvety head of his cock felt so good and with a brush of pressure to her throbbing clit, Stella gasped and bit her lip.
Jake slipped right inside of her, his arms coming to rest on each side of her head as he pushed deeper in. Both emitting a moan louder than they should have.
"Shhhh," Jake whispered, hovering above her lips. "We gotta be quite, Stelly."
She nodded underneath him, and his hips pulled back and thrust forward, a slow and lazy roll to them. His movements were deep and strong, her body moving with his as his chest slid along her skin with each powerful drive into her he made.
Stella tilted her hips upward along with her head, capturing Jake's lips so they could swallow each other's calls of desire. With her hip tilt, Jake was able to rub the head of his thick cock against that soft spot inside that made her melt.
There was no hurry but there was a deep intensity to the way they continued to connect. Thrusts and breathy pants, moans swallowed by deep kisses. Stella's walls began to flutter around Jake's shaft as he began to pulse against her insides.
"Oh fuck, Stella," he croaked at her ear. He was close and so was she.
"So close," she whimpered, as if to affirm what he was already feeling as her hands ran over his spine and back up his neck, her fingers scratching at the base.
They came together with a white hot flash, stars flooding their vision, their cries of love crashing over that cliff swallowed up by a beautiful kiss.
As Jake emptied inside her, he buried his face into the crook of her neck, thankful for the ability to mask the pooled eyes he squinted shut. When he felt he could, he leaned back and saw the two tears that leaked from her own eyes and with the cradle of his palms against her face, his thumbs wiped them away.
Stella saw nothing but tenderness and true love reflected in Jake's eyes. This moment would forever be in her memory bank. Sleeping and being together had been a common occurrence for the two of them, even when they weren’t a couple, but this had felt as intense as it ever had. The way she felt, the way he made her feel, it was her Jakey. The goofy, weird, sarcastic beautiful Jake Jensen she had always loved. The man who made her feel things she could never with anyone else, no matter how hard she'd tried. He was home, he was safety, and his promises for forever had re-stolen her heart.
"I love you." Stella whispered to him.
"I love you, too." he replied softly.
With himself still inside her, he managed to roll the two of them so he was on his back and she led over his body, her knees in either side of his hips. Stella laid her head against his sweat sticky chest, her cheek pressed right against his heart. His fingers ran through her hair as they both fell back asleep for just a little while longer.
****
Later that day, just after lunchtime, Jake walked the short distance back to his parents. He hopped up the steps to the front door and removed his keys from his pocket and let himself in. His timing perfect, as ever, saw him step into the hallway at the exact moment his dad walked down the stairs.
“Oh, you decided to show up then?” John scoffed as he stood looking at his son.
“What?”
“Don’t play dumb with me, you little shit, your sister told me everything.” John replied, his voice carrying a hint of amusement as he folded his arms.
“Define everything.” Jake grimaced a little and his dad snorted.
“I know exactly what happened in Mexico and why you came home.” John shook his head as he walked past Jensen into the lounge. “Don’t worry, we’re not offended in the slightest you didn’t come here first.”
Jake rolled his eyes as his dad sank into the arm chair, reaching for the TV remote. “It wasn’t on purpose Dad. In my defence, I didn’t really have a grand plan. I had like an hour to make the flight, I didn’t even bring a bag.”
“Yeah, well, by the expression on your face I assume it went well.” John looked at him, a smirk flickering across his face and Jensen grinned.
“Yeah, yeah it did.”
“So, when are you heading back?”
Jensen shrugged. “Not sure, probably in a few days or so.”
“Great.” John pressed a button on the remote, waving his hand towards the door of the room. “Now go tell your mother, she’s gonna be over the moon when she finds out.”
“You didn’t tell her why I was here?” Jake frowned, removing his jacket and tossing it over the arm of the sofa.
“Nope.” John shook his head, his eyes fixed on the Sunday Lunchtime show on the TV. “I didn’t want her to be disappointed if you fucked up. Again. I told her you were doing exercises nearby.”
“Nice to see you had so little faith in me, Pops.”
“Yeah, well, you have a history of colossal fuckups.” John mumbled.
“I know.” Jensen scratched at his chest over his T-shirt. “Hey, Is this the part where you give me the big father-son talk. Again?”
At that John laughed. “I will give you the talk as many times as needed, which in your case is a lot.” His eyes flicked up to Jensen’s and Jake sighed a little.
“I know I was a dick, I still am but I don’t wanna fuck this up again, Dad. She means the world to me and she’s given me a second chance. There won’t be a third, not least because she wouldn’t give me one but she’s not gonna need to.
John turned his eyes to Jake and levelled him with a stern look. “I hope so, son. Your mother and I love that girl as if she was our own kid.
“I love her too.” Jake shrugged. “And that’s all I can say.”
“That’s everything, Son. I’m happy for you.” John smiled, before he nodded towards the door. “Now go tell your mother.”
“She’s totally gonna slap me for not coming here first and going straight to the fake exercise, isn’t she?”
“Straight up murder you.” John nodded. “You know,” he rolled his eyes, “mothers.”
Jake grimaced. “Say nice things at my funeral.”
With his dad’s chuckles ringing in his ears, Jake headed into the kitchen and through to the small laundry room where his mom was busy shoving clothes in the dryer.
“Hey Ma.” He said and she gave a little start of surprise before she spun round, pointing at him.
“Jacob Calvin Jensen!” She blazed and Jake recoiled a little, wincing at her tone. “Why on earth you didn’t come see your mother before going to Exercise? And why aren’t you wearing your uniform?”
“What, why would I be wearing my uniform?” He frowned. ”That’s…whatever, that’s not important. Look, Mom, I didn’t come for an exercise.”
“You didn’t?” His mom frowned as she folded her arms. “Then where the hell have you been?”
“With Stel.” He replied simply.
“Stella?” His mom’s frown deepened. “So is all the team in the area?”
“No, just us.”
“Jake, what’s going on?” His mother demanded, her tone laced with frustration and he sighed.
“I err, well something happened when we were in Mexico and I had to make it right so, I did.”
“In Mexico? What did you do this time, Jake? And what is that you had to make it right? Oh my GOD!” She stuttered as she pressed her hand to her mouth. “Tell me you didn’t get a random Mexican girl pregnant, Jake!
“What? No!” Jake exclaimed, shaking his head. “Besides I was there like two weeks ago, how would I even know if I had?”
His mom immediately started rambling on about him being a dirty little shit and Jake let her continue for a while as she railed at him for whatever imaginary sins he had committed, but when she started on some long winded accusation about him sleeping his way around Cancun he groaned.
“Mom, you’re…you know what, the only person I slept with out there was Stella!”
At that his mom stopped dead, her eyebrows shooting up into her hairline. “What? I thought she was dating that guy she brought for New Years?”
“Look, it’s complicated but I made it right.” He shook his head, wanting to avoid that particular line of questioning. “I told you I came to fix something and I did. Stelly and I are back together.”
Instead of the smile he’d been expecting to spread on his mom’s face at that revelation, instead her brow furrowed once more into a frown and she shook her head, holding up her hand.
“Wait, wait. Back up!” She shook her head. “So you went to Mexico. Had sex. And now you’re back together?”
Jake groaned, “Mom!”
“Don’t ‘mom’ me!” She hissed. “You slept with her whilst she was with that other guy?”
“Yes, but they were breaking up, they have broken up!” He implored, dropping his head a little. “I thought you’d be pleased about it.”
“Of course I am, the pair of you belong together but that doesn’t mean I approve of what you did! You broke them up, on purpose?”
“Oh my God, are you even listening to me?” Jake looked at his mom, shaking his head and at that her face softened a little and she laid a hand on his arm.
“I’m sorry, yes, I am listening to you sweetheart, I’m just a little confused.”
Jake wrinkled his nose. “Yeah, it is…it’s complicated but, well, it doesn’t matter how and why, Mom, it just happened and, well, I love her. I love her so damn much and she took me back.” His voice dropped a little as he gave his mom a smile, popping one of his shoulders and to his relief he saw her finally smile back at him.
“You’re a lucky little shit you know that?”
Jake grinned. “Yeah, I do. Jules pretty much told me the same thing.”
“And did Jules tell you that if you fuck this up again she’ll kill you with her own bare hands?” His mom looked at him and he nodded.
“Yup. Dad also made his feelings perfectly clear a moment ago and I suspect you’re gonna join the club too.”
“You guessed right.” Janet raised her eyebrows. “And it won’t be a quick death either. It will be slow, and painful.”
“Gee, thanks.” Jake looked up at the ceiling before his mom scoffed a little.
“Well then for your sake you better heed said warnings then, hadn’t you?” She demanded and Jake dropped his eyes to hers before she smiled, and held her arms open. “Come here.”
******
The next day, Monday, was Jules’ birthday. Both families celebrated together as they always did, this time with a meal at an Italian joint and a chocolate cake Stella had made with Janet’s help. They had all chatted and laughed cheerfully over dinner, everyone trying to convince Jules she wasn’t hard to look at for her age and Gracie giggling every time Jake stole a kiss from Stella. Aubrey, however, spent most of the night shooting daggers at Jake before she collared him again when he emerged from the bathroom to issue one final threat. When he assured her said threat was received and understood she’d merely eyed him for a second before she shrugged and wrapped him up into a hug.
Tuesday was a bright sunny day and Jake suggested to Stella that they head out with Sirius for the afternoon and then caught a movie, just the two of them, later that evening before getting an early night ready for their morning flight back to Virginia. As such, the pair of them made their way to the park not far from Jake’s mom and dad’s, Sirius happily trotting besides them until they reached a less busy area and Jake let him off his leash for a run.
“You finished packing, baby?” Jensen asked, before throwing a stick for the large, black dog to fetch. He watched the dog sprint over the lawn of that side of the park before he turned to look at Stella who had remained silent.
“Yes, I guess I am.” She replied softly once she realized he was waiting for her answer.
“You guess?” Jensen wrapped his arm over Stella’s shoulder, pulling her to him before leaving a gentle kiss on her head. “What’s bothering you? You seem concerned about something.”
When she hesitated, Jake suddenly found himself worrying a little as he saw she was clearly unsure of what to say.
“Are you not ready to go back to base again?” He asked, trying to coax the answer out of her, trying to keep his face passive as he asked her out-loud what he was thinking. “Are you worried about Agent Shit-Name?”
“No, not really.” She answered, not a flinch at the mention of her former boyfriend, nor did she bother to pull Jake up on the use of his shitty nickname for the man. Instead, she took a deep breath. “Does this feel different to you? Like us?”
“Different?” Jensen frowned as he looked down to her. “In what way?”
“I really can’t explain it.” She shrugged, her eyes still fixed on a spot beyond the path ahead of them. “Like… there’s more riding on it maybe. If it doesn’t work out this time, then where do we go from there?”
“Is that what is worrying you?” Jake looked at her and she shrugged again and he sighed. “Hey, look, don’t think it won’t work babe, please. I promise you if it comes to me, it will.”
And it was then that Stella looked at him finally, his arm still curled over her shoulder as they walked round the lake with Sirius prancing and sniffing every tree, rock and creature a few meters ahead.
“I mean it, Stelly.” Jake pressed, desperate to get his point across that he wasn’t going to let her down again, to reassure her. “I love you baby and I wouldn’t do anything that risked what we’ve got.”
“I just don’t want this to go the way it did last time, and I believe you, I really do and I love you too.” Stella paused and swallowed before continuing, her eyes studying Jensen’s features. “It’s just, well the reason me and Evan didn’t work was because of you.”
Jensen then opened his mouth to protest but Stella cut him off with a movement of her hand. “I had no chance of being happy with anyone else not whilst you were there and this, well, if we end up that way again then…”
Jake needed no more words, he understood instantly what she was saying. That that was it. If they ever fell apart again, mind you, if he ever fucked up again, there would be nothing left for them. No friendship, no working partners, nothing. And, if he was being honest, that scared the shit out of him.
“This really is our last chance Jake. And that kinda freaks me out.” Stella continued, her voice bringing Jake back from his own thoughts. “But, we gotta try right?” She shrugged, making it look like a casual comment and trying to appear as collected as possible, but her eyes filled as she spoke that last sentence, telling Jake she was anything but.
Jake then stopped them both, and shook his head as he turned to face her. “Then don’t think about that happening.” At that he took a deep breath and cupped her face in his hands. “Look Stel, if anyone’s gotta be scared that would be me.” He felt his voice beginning to crack so he paused for couple of seconds as he softly rubbed Stella’s cheekbones with the pads of his thumbs. “I fucked up so many times before. I know that much and I also know I am a lucky bastard because you took me back.”
Stella shook her head, making him drop his arms to his sides. “We both did stuff that, well, with hindsight was dumb. But, it’s not even like we can take this slow, is it? Not with everything that’s happened, all the history we’ve got.”
“Why not?” Jake shrugged. “Let’s do exactly that. Let’s go right back to the beginning. We’ll date, do fun stuff, build it back from scratch.”
She chuckled, her features finally softening and her eyes sparkling at Jake’s so familiar giddiness. “Back to when?” She grinned. “To you helping me with my books the day we met?”
“Well... maybe not that far.” He grinned back at her as the memories of that day so many years ago warmed his chest. “But, let’s look at this as new. I kinda feel like it is anyway, I mean the other morning…” he trailed off and Stella watch him swallow hard, his throat bobbing slightly. “Fuck Stel, I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing that was. It just felt so special and that spark was there and…” he then paused to take her hands in his. “I don’t know, let’s work with that.”
“It was special, Jake.” Stella nodded, her eyes boring into his. “It was just us loving on each other, knowing that was where we belonged.”
“Exactly.” Jake breathed in as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and made them start moving again. “So let’s just run with it. We can’t keep dragging over all the shit that’s been before if we wanna make it work.”
“I do, I do wanna make it work.” Stella assured him, looking up at him. Her face split into a smile and she beamed at him, all traces of her trepidation seeping away. “Me and you, Jake. No matter what.”
He nodded as he grinned before leaning down to gently capture her lips on his, thanking his lucky stars that conversation had gone the way it had. “Now, I don’t know about you but I’m starving. Wanna head to the bakery and grab some food? I’d kill for a slice of red velvet cake.”
“You’re obsessed with that stuff.” She chuckled as she rolled her eyes.
Jensen shrugged and gave her his signature cheeky grin. “My two weaknesses in one place babe, you and cake.”
He watch her smirk from the corner of his eye as he called Sirius back and clipped on his leash. They headed out of the park and walked a few blocks down to one of their favourite bakeries in their town. The main lunchtime rush was over so thankfully it wasn’t busy and Stella didn’t have wait long outside with Sirius whilst Jensen headed in and grabbed them a sandwich each and then a large piece of his favourite cake and an eclair for her.
Once they’d got their food, they headed back to the park and found a little spot on one of the lawns and settled down to eat. They made small conversation as they ate their sandwiches, which they split as was usual when they were together the first time, Jensen commenting on how he had called Clay that same morning to tell him they were heading back the following morning and to fill him in with the latest update on the so-called “Operation Petunia”.
Despite their earlier decision to start new, they spent most of the meal reminiscing about the highlights of their relationship beginning with the day they met and ending with one of the most infamous moments they had lived together.
And no, contrary to what anyone who knew them might pinpoint, it wasn’t their first break up or any of the last month’s events.
“You have no idea how embarrassing it was to see photos of my boyfriend all over the fucking Army College campus wearing a whipped cream bikini with a banana up his ass.” Stella groaned at the memory, as she unwrapped their sweet treats.
“Oh, for fucks sake, Stel! How many times do I have to tell you it was a bet?” Jensen protested as he lay back on the grass as he thrust his arms dramatically in the air, making Stella roll her eyes.
“How would you feel about seeing photos of me like that?” She smirked as she leaned to poke her index finger on his chest as he cringed at the thought.
“Stel, just don’t, baby.”
“Yeah, exactly.” Stella grinned.
“You would have looked better than I did though.” Jensen quipped as he raised his head and chest, using his elbows now to rest the weight of his body upon, propping himself up.
“Well that goes without saying.”
“Okay, let’s not talk about my most embarrassing moments anymore.” He sat up, reaching for his cake. He took a large bite and groaned, swallowing, before he shoved more in his mouth. “By the way, this red velvet cake is delicious.”
“Is it?” Stella swallowed her own mouthful of éclair and nodded to the cake in Jake’s hand. “Let me try.”
Jensen broke a piece off for her and held it up as if to put it in her mouth but then before thinking twice he shoved it straight at her, mushing it round her nose.
There was a moment where Stella blinked, before she gave a shriek and grabbed a napking. “I fucking hate you.” She spluttered, wiping at her nose.
Jensen was cackling, but he soon stopped when she rammed what was left of her chocolate éclair into his face.
“You know, Estella,” he began to say as he wiped his face and licked the cream off his finger, smirking a little, “you really shouldn’t play with your food.”
“Oh, fuck off Jacob!” She snorted, using his full name as well.
“Oooh so angry, baby.” He mocked her as he dodged the napkin she threw at him.
“Shut up!”
“All right, all right.” He laughed and then looped his arm round her neck pulling her down with him as he leaned back on the grass again, his lips catching hers in a searing kiss.
“God, I love kissing you Stelly.” Jake sighed once they broke the kiss.
“Yeah?” She smiled. “Kinda like kissing you too.”

Tell me about three of your favorite OCs you’ve worked on!
Thank you for the ask! Sorry for the wait, I've been working on this whenever I got the spoons which have been in short supply.
Three of my favorite OC's: Well one is very much Elena. From her starting point as an atla oc to role-play as, to her own fanfiction, then to multiple short/uncompleted stories, and finally being one of the main charecters for the series i hope to write (Learn To Be) shes been on a long journey with me and has consistently been an oc i fall back to in both writing and drawing. She's overpowered and badass, could kill a man twice her size with her bare hands without breaking a sweat, but doesn't have the average socialization the rest of the world does, and she doesn't like hurting people. She can keep her face completely blank but can't interpret what she feels correctly. She's repressed as fuck and the only way she knows how to let loose is in bursts of violent rage. She loves animals but has no idea how to properly handle any of them (in a friendly way, she can handle them in a her next meal way just fine). She attaches to people very fast. Oh year she also summons and controls fire and her skin can radiate heat at times, but she isn't resistant to burns. She loves her parents but everyone else who knows about them know that they deserve to be burning in hell <3
2. Would probably be Morgan Weasley even though she maybe is only a year or so old. With a lot of OC's i make i focus on one story to write and quickly end up moving on to new ones. But Morgan is one of the few that have stuck. I wrote a lot of her main story in a large span of inspiration, and when that ran out it was from an overwhelming amount of ideas to tweak the story in different ways. I've got a doc dedicated to different random snippets to full blown au's, some with multiple chapters planned. If I hadn't had an au idea for Morgan's story while I was inpatient id have been forced to stay longer because I was bored out of my mind and getting more agitated with nothing to do. Even though I havent written her (or much of anything really) recently I still find great pleasure in playing around with her universe in my head.
3. This is hard to choose because part of me just wants to put the rest of the main Learn to Be cast, part of me wants to say Greenland, and the rest of myself needs to keep reminding certain charecters aren't my oc's no matter how many parts of canon I throw out the window. I guess I'll just settle for malcolm and Jesse, who were created years apart, but have only really started to get developed because of their relationship. Malcolm was a full metal alchemist oc for role-playing at first. I was young and the role played story for him makes me cringe at how emotionally manipulative his actions were without me having any self awareness about it. Im not exactly sure when he started to join in on the short/uncompleted stories with the main five, but I think it was either We Are Salvageable or Crack Oc Highschool. He was mostly just one of my average ocs for role plays until then. Jesse was created for a very ambitious harry potter role play where, if I remember correctly, we were doing eight oc's each per house. At the time Jester was a very new character and I was struggling to think of more slytherians, so I came up with Jesse. Jesse was made to be the nicer version of Jester. This quickly changed to the opposite the more I wrote. Malcolm and jesses relationships has been through all sorts of changes and will continue to do so, but, I do at least have more personal background for Jesse, his internalized homophobia, and how he sees interactions with others. It also made me conclude that whether malcolm is gay or bi won't change the fact that he is out and proud. Their relationship also helped me flesh their insecurities, specifically ones tied to masculinity. Jesse is skinny, lanky, well groomed, formal clothes, and arrogant with large amounts of condescension to boot. He thinks power, sociatal, economical, and power strength is what separates real men from riff raff. To him homosexuality is unmanly, which is oh so terrible thing to be (this boy makes me so tired sometimes). Malcolm has a horrible father as an example and though he recognizes this, its hard to apply to himself. He has to be physically strong, he has to be aggressive and incite violence against people he considers bad, and he very much struggles to reign in his temper. He doesn't judge others by presentation but he does use phrases like be a man and the like.
Sorry for the long wait! Thank you for asking :3

Riva Remembers
(A cheesy title for a fic I wrote while in the midst of an emotional breakdown, haha… I figured I’d post it on here because people seem to like my artwork of this OC so far. This is my first time writing these characters. Also I am on mobile and super duper tired from the aforementioned breakdown, so please pardon the long post. I have no idea how to put the read more thing on this… Regardless I hope someone enjoys this, I guess.)
“Agent Cruller, it’s me! Raz! I need to talk to you—“
“Sorry, senior staff only!” The old man in the mailroom office replied coldly, turning back to sorting the piles of letters with telekinesis.
“Don’t you know who I am?!” Nick’s voice came from farther into the mailroom, “I’m telling my dad!”
Razputin suddenly got an idea… He raced down to find his mentor standing there, eyes looking off in two separate directions. Another figure he recognized was on the verge of a nervous breakdown right next to him… Actually she looked like she had already been through multiple breakdowns before he even got here.
“Mr. Johnsmith?! Come on! It’s me! N-nick?!” The teen ran pale hands through her short brown hair, “Th-this is terrible! I am dead for sure!”
“Postage stamps…are scratch and sniff…” The pot-bellied man mumbled nonsensically beside her.
“Whoa, whoa, Riva…” The ten year old’s expression softened, “I was the one who found his brainless body… What do you mean you’re dead?”
“N-norma…she… t-told everyone I…”
“She thinks YOU’RE the mole?!” The child was taken aback, slightly angered even, “Why?!”
“I-I don’t know…M-maybe it’s because I didn’t notice the body before you…?” Riva sniffled, “It doesn’t matter… Agent Foresythe is going to have me detained…o-once she hears about this…”
“What?! No way!” He looked at her with determined eyes, “Don’t worry! I have a plan! I am going to get a new brain for Nick’s body, so he can let me into the mailroom office! Once I get there, I will be one step closer to proving you’re innocent!”
“Y-you really think… I-I’m innocent…?” Her tear filled blue eyes looked at him as if confused by his faith in her.
“I know you are!” He nodded, “Hey! Can you watch Ford for me until I get back? Make sure he doesn’t go anywhere!”
“F-ford…?” The other intern’s eyes narrowed at that name, as if she were squinting to see through a thick fog, “Ford…why does… Oh! Ford Cruller, right… He’s one of the psychic 6…” She shook her head, “Sorry, I am just…all over the place… These panic attacks take a lot out of me…”
“It’s all going to be okay.” The younger of the two gently took the other’s hand, waving to Nick before walking up to the office room, “Agent Cruller! This is my friend! She works in the mailroom—!”
“If she isn’t senior staff, that door ain’t openin’!” Ford declared before the boy could finish.
“Oh, I know!” Raz nodded, “This is Riva. She is having a hard time right now, and I don’t want to leave her alone. Maybe you two could talk or something?”
“Eh?! Oh, sure…sure thing…” The senior sounded slightly jostled for a moment, before returning to his distant demeanor, “Chit chat makes the sortin go faster…”
“Great!” The boy smiled at Riva before racing up to the exit of the mailroom, “I’ll be back as soon as possible!”
Soon after the sound of footsteps and levitation bubbles faded, the remaining intern heard the door creak open.
“Riva…” Cruller’s voice sounded slightly shaken, “I… Is it really you…?”
“S-sir…?” She frowned, “I-I don’t think we’ve met before…”
“Ah… I shoulda known you would’ve repressed it all…” He looked at the floor grimly, “They feared what you could become if you knew…”
“…W-what…?” The teen stepped away as the agent stepped closer, reaching a hand out to her. Eventually, she was against a wall.
“You…really were damaged by the feedback…weren’t you, kid…?” His bushy eyebrows furrowed in concern, “Back at Whisperin Rock… you remember that place, right…?”
Oh, that summer camp she got kicked out of only mere days in because she wasn’t even a real psychic?
“Yes, that’s the one.” Cruller answered her thoughts telepathically, “Except… you are psychic, Riva… Always have been… They just wanted you to believe you weren’t…so they could let you go back to society…”
Go…back…? Why wouldn’t she have been allowed to be in society if she was psychic? Isn’t that what the psychonauts are all about?
“You had potential, unlike what Nein Vodello and myself had ever seen from such a young mind… until Raz showed up, of course, but he was slightly older than you were…” He finally grabbed both of her hands, encasing them in his own, “You had such a gift with clairvoyance… it was beyond what the psychonauts ever thought was possible…”
“W-Wait…” She blinked, “You know Raz then? Why didn’t you just let him in the office…?”
“He’s not ready to learn the dark truths I’ve got tucked away in this old noggin…” The old man sighed, “I-I’m not ready for em, either… but… you are. You need to know the truth about yourself… You need to stop disregarding me when I say this: You ARE psychic…”
“B-BUT I’M NOT!” Riva tried to pull her hands away from him, to which he gently released them from their hold, “T-THAT CAMP WAS THE WORST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME! I THOUGHT I WOULD FIND SOMEWHERE I BELONGED, THAT I WAS GOOD FOR SOMETHING! B-but… I wasn’t… I-I was so full of myself to think I was special! M-My brains just BROKEN—“
“Stop it right there.” His voice became firmer, “Listen to me, before someone comes! Your potent clairvoyance meant we didn’t need any altering technology to convince you of a lie… You are so in tune with other people’s viewpoints and perspectives… you don’t even know what your reality is anymore… Other people tell you who you are, what you do, where you go. No more playin pretend, Riva.”
“I-I…b-but…”
“You were a psychic of high potential even at age 7, with budding specialities in clairvoyance, and hydrokinesis….” He smiled, “You… you made friends with every single piece of me, kid… I took you under my wing to teach you what I knew… but hydrokinesis… was a feared ability due to…well… another incident... When that secret spilled…”
“N-no… I-I can’t be… I-I don’t remember any of this!“
“Nein feared that your age, your diagnosis of autism, both combined with your psychic potential could result in you developing powerful abilities beyond even your own control…” Ford shook his head, “Headquarters wanted to lock ya up for observation in a psychoisolation facility for life… but, Sasha found a loophole. By having someone tell you that their biased perspective was reality, your brain would doubt its own perception, and start to believe them. That’s how we managed to let you leave that campsite with your family…”
By this point Riva was speechless, as countless memories she thought she had selfishly dreamed about returned to her. She fell to her knees, staring at nothing as she was flooded with all that she had forgotten. The ruthless bullying at camp, and their sabotaging of her efforts to learn to use her powers… That time they tried to drown her in the lake and she washed them all ashore on accident… the horror on everyone’s faces… It all actually happened?!
There were some happy things hidden in the mess, though… The time she’d spend drawing the wildlife out there, the cool places to explore… and the single friend she made at camp… That’s right, the cook was always there to comfort her after the other kids picked on her… No, wait, it was the ranger… But then why’d she remember a janitor, and a man watching over the canoes…? Why did they all look the same, identical even…? Then there was one more in a psychonauts uniform…
“There ya go. Now you’re getting it…” His frail hand grabbed one of hers, helping her up with a chuckle. “I should look more familiar to ya now, eh?”
She made eye contact again, and felt so stupid for not noticing this before. Riva always had an interest in the psychonauts, because they seemed like they could tolerate different minds. If her family could afford it, she would even read True Psychic Tales, mainly because she admired the illustrations. How could she not realize she knew Ford “The Founder Of This Whole Place” Cruller until now?!
Yet, at the same time, she felt her eyes water. It was nice to know she had a friend back then, even if he was old enough to be her grandpa. She didn’t say a word, and extended her free arm as an invitation…for something she definitely needed and wouldn’t want to get from Nick. The agent understood, and they hugged for a brief moment. She felt like this had happened before.
“I-I… I’m glad to see you, Mr. Cruller, b-but…” She quickly shifted back to worrying, “I-I am not in the best situation to do much of anything regarding the truth right now… I know Norma is telling Hollis I am the spy in the psychonauts… I-I am going to get locked up in the end anyway… T-they didn’t believe me before… Why would they believe me now—?”
He was gone.
The intercom sounded, with Hollis’ sharp voice ringing out, “Would Riva Beckons please come to the main area IMMEDIATELY!”

Supernova | Bill Weasley x Nova Lestrange
Summary: Bill Weasley gets his first kiss
Pairing: Bill Weasley x OC Nova Lestrange (Bellatrix's daughter)
Word count: 1250
Square filled: First kiss
-
Tumblr media
When Bill was starting his second year at Hogwarts, his eyes fell on a girl with dark, curly hair. She must've been a First Year since her robes had no house logo on them.
Nova Lestrange, McGonagall had called her. Bill had heard that name before - Lestrange. It had been in the newspaper a year ago.
During the sorting ceremony, the redhead watched her go and sit under the sorting hat, secretly praying she'd be in Gryffindor.
She got Slytherin.
Three years passed and, despite Nova's reputation, Bill couldn't tear his eyes from her. She fascinated him. She was strong headed and confident, didn't take shit from anyone and never hesitated to hex someone who spoke wrong about her or her family. Maybe it was why people were intimidated by her?
She definitely wasn't the type of girl his mother would want him to bring home for the holidays, but that didn't stop the Weasley boy from longing after her.
Nova's mad laugh echoed in the hallway as Bill and her ran away, escaping from Filch.
The two had set an alarm and emerged from their respective common rooms well after curfew to meet in a hallway, planning to sneak out to the astronomy tower to watch the meteor shower. Professor Sinistra had mentioned it in class earlier this week and Nova really wanted to see it. According to the professor, the best time to see it was between moonset and dawn, which was why they were up at this hour.
''I can't believe you jinxed Filch with a jelly-legs curse,'' Bill laughed, the image of the caretaker stumbling because of the curse forever engraved in his mind.
Nova would undoubtedly get in trouble for jinxing a staff member, but she couldn't care less.
''Get used to it, Weasley. Crazy runs in my blood.''
Once they made it to the top of the astronomy tower, Bill pushed open the squeaky door. A few blankets and cushions were set up on the ground, neatly and previously placed by Nova, to keep them warm and comfortable for the spectacle.
''Do you think it has started already?'' she asked, sitting down on the blanket. It was spring, but the nights were still cold.
They were both still in their pajamas, looking like polar opposites next to each other; Nova in a Slytherin night-robe over a silk two piece and Bill in striped bottoms and a Molly-made sweater.
Bill shook his head and joined her, grabbing another blanket to cover their legs. ''It shouldn't have. According to Professor Sinistra, we should see the first shooting star around two-thirty.''
A brisk of wind blew through the astronomy tower and, without thinking, Bill reached out to tuck a piece of hair away from Nova's face.
She turned her attention to him, frowning. ''What is it? Is there something in my hair?'' She ran a hand through her dark curls, attempting to get whatever was on it out.
Bill shook his head. ''No.''
He looked down at his hands quickly and then back to her. A full head of dark messy curls framed her face, a stark contrast with her milky skin. Her dark eyes were surrounded by long lashes. She was the painted picture of her mother - only, her features were softer. Her nose was different too, more upturned.
A fragment of meteor came through the starry sky at lightning speed and Nova's eyes brightened in amazement. ''Did you catch that?''
Nova's voice broke him out of his staring.
''Eh, no...'' Bill replied sheepishly.
Nova pulled her eyebrows. ''It flew right before us. How can you have missed it?'' she asked. ''Need glasses, Weasley?'' Before Bill could say anything, she tapped his leg to get his attention. ''There's another one coming. Look!''
This time, he did catch it. A small ball of bright, white light flew across the sky, so fast it trailed light behind it. A smile broke across the redhead's lips.
''Wow. This is so much better that during Astronomy lessons.'' Bill wasn't an astronomy nerd, but he couldn't deny how cool shooting stars were despite being a small fragment of a big rock.
''That's because they are simulations,'' Nova explained. ''I don't think Professor Sinistra has the patience to spend a night with a whole class to teach astronomy. Can you imagine?''
''Next time, we should watch it by the Black Lake.''
''Ohh, good idea!''
''How will we sneak out of the castle though? The doors are locked at night.''
''I guess we'll have to stay out all night.''
''We could hide in the forbidden forest? It isn't as scary as people make it. I've been a thousand times with my brother Charlie. There centaurs and acromantulas and trolls, but they won't bother you if you don't cause trouble.''
The forest was strictly off limits to students - except for detentions or Care of Magical Creatures lessons -, but that didn't stop the Weasley boys to venture in. In third year, Charlie tried to sneak in a bowtruckle in his dorm, but McGonagall caught the green creature peeking from his robe's pocket and gave him detention.
''I'll hold your hand if you're scared,'' Bill teased and Nova shoved him.
Like most, Nova had first struck him as the good kid with good grades, the type who never disobeyed or broke rules. After all, he was top mark in a lot of classes. Turned out Bill was not the person she had taken him to be. The elder of the Weasley clan loved adventures, danger and...mischief.
Time flew by as more shooting stars crossed the sky. It was now almost time to part ways and go back to their dorm, but Bill didn't want this moment to end. He had plans for tonight, other than watching the meteor shower. One plan.
Kissing Nova.
He had tried to kiss her on many occasions before, but always got cold feet - for a Gryffindor, he wasn’t courageous in the girl department. Or, something would come up and interrupt.
The last time, they had been in the courtyard when a bludger went over their head at full speed, coming from the quidditch pitch where Gryffindor were having a practice. After practice, Charlie had apologized on their team's behalf for ruining the moment, but Bill was still mad at his brother for that - even though he wasn't the one who swung the bludger.
Bill's eyes shifted from Nova to the sky, telling himself that he'll take his chance and make a move when the next shooting star would pass, but he realized that the setting was a bit too romantic for his liking. Having his first kiss under the stars, who was he? The main character from those muggle movies?
But, again, Nova had been the one to come up with the idea of watching the meteor shower, not him.
''Nova?'' His voice was soft, but still echoed through the astronomy tower.
The raven haired girl turned in Bill’s direction. Her cheeks were rosey from the night air and Bill could feel his heart beat fast in his chest. She was so close, yet too far.
Using all the courage he had, Bill cupped her face with one of his hands and leaned in, his lips hovering over Nova's, but stopped before they could kiss, getting cold feet.
''Are you gonna kiss me, Weasley, or do I have to do it myself?'' Nova spoke between them.
Bill laughed softly, embarrassed, and did as told.
