so about your sim's body preset resetting every time. ive had a similar bug. either the body preset youre using is bugged or any other preset (could be even facial ones). in my case the whole sims appearance changed drastically and the cause was the eyes preset i was using. so this sht happens sometimes and you have to figure out what is actually bugged in your case. once you change the bugged preset it wont change again

thank you for responding! i do think it was her body preset unfortunately so i ended up just giving her a whole new look in the end

ive had this happen with nose presets too with other sims i wish i knew how to fix them

starting a little legacy to get to know the game better. i've never actually played before so i really want to try and have fun w/ actual gameplay and not just cas. i'm doing the 'sims in bloom' legacy challenge but making changes as i feel like it. i don't really want to be to strict with anything. like, i'm taking the vet clinic thing from gen. two and adding it to this gen. because i already had ideas for a clinic with one of my founders. idk if i'll do any serious story telling and i'm not gonna rush generations either so this may go on forever
