Something like dread clung to Stanley’s heart. “Mama, what’s happening?” The word slips out like frantic water escaping shaking fingers. Mama. He hadn’t called her that in years, yet he can’t stop when he starts. “You’re not making sense, Mama, please.”

She inhales sharply and it crackles over the line. He can almost hear the faint, distant sound of screaming in the background. “You take your brothers and you go.” She said firmly. “You get in your car and you drive as far as it’ll take you and then some. You make sure they are safe, Stanley, do you understand? Tell me you understand.”

“Mama-”

“Tell me you understand.”

He hesitated, glancing back at Stanford sleeping on the couch, blissfully unaware. “I understand.”

“Good baby, good.” The screaming picked up, something loud and violent booming in the background. Like an explosion. “Mama’s good boy. My strong, brave boy. I love you baby, I love you all, I’m so sorr-”

And the line died. Just an empty, endless beep.

Stanley isn’t quite sure how, but he knows his mother is dead.

1. Izuku rejected an offer to work under Katsuki as an intern. This wasn’t a rejection of Katsuki as a human or hero work or even being partners with Katsuki, just Izuku finally knowing what he is worth and asking for more

2. Katsuki’s “see ya” wasn’t a forever goodbye, but a comfortable “see ya later” in which he knows Izuku will be taking care of his business and working his way back around to Kacchan again

3. Katsuki basically told the car Izuku was his type then pointed out that Izuku was missing what was right in front of him, while the camera gave us Izuku’s PoV of Katsuki right in front of him, so do with that what you will

4. Izuku chased after Ochako to tell her he wants them to talk more after eight years of him basically isolating himself from everyone who wasn’t Kacchan, because he listened to Katsuki in the car and realized he needs to let people know when he cares about them, and we can 100% see this as a platonic-leaning interaction without stepping outside of canon (including the bro-hand-clasp)

5. Even if it’s not and they’re reconnecting to see what’s there, if the point of Katsuki’s advice was to get Izuku thinking about what he wants more, he’s gonna circle back around to Katsuki eventually. We have 430 canon chapters backing this up.

6. To reiterate: Izuku is eventually gonna be telling Kacchan how special he is to him too, we just don’t get to see it. 431 is the start of everything we ever wanted for Izuku: self- reflection, therapy, understanding his own emotions. Ochako was the first step in a long journey that, again, is going to end with Katsuki

tbh I couldn’t for the life of me pick a color palette I liked And Render it so I gave up on color. Enjoy the half assery.

Tbh I’ve just been call it Ithacan Naga, but it’s objectively it’s a mix of snake, owl/bird, and human. So 🤷.

Tbh the wings are supposed to be white/gray-brown, cause owls & Hermes, while his scales are supposed to be an oscillating scale from sea green-blue to purple-tinted gray. Uhm. Evidently that sorta didn’t happen but also did. So.

The purple/grayer scales are gonna be more around with the feathers and wings.

Those fin colors are. Too blue and too bright but I love the colors themselves so they’re staying for now.

this is so good 😭😭😭😭 omg. making him all flustered and he knows this is bad!!! he wants you but has to pull away!!! chastises you, jokingly tells you he’s not that easy, and when you’re weakly pawing at him from behind he’s all huffy. telling you you’d better stop that, that you’ll make him wreck, jokingly says “don’t make me pull over” and you’re like “sounds good to me, steve”

also something about him manhandling …. calling him handsy when he accidentally swipes against your chest and he’s gotta remind you he’s doing this because you’re being insane and it’s not HIS fault where his hands end up… and perhaps manhandling you a little more while scoffing and begging you to just be good so he doesn’t have to take extra measures 😵‍💫

Hey Jashers! So. I’ve recently seen a lot of people expressing how they feel the CJ community has been getting kinda toxic lately. It’s honestly really disheartening to see this happening, especially as this community and Chonny’s music/characters mean a lot to me. I guess this is all to say: if you feel the CJ community is getting toxic, let’s try to actually fix it. And no this doesn’t mean “make 10000 callout posts”. The Jash himself said both on Twitter/X and on the CJFS he’d rather all this (recent incident[s?]) be essentially acknowledged and dropped. If you want to keep this fandom alive and healthy (which I feel for the most part it already is! CJ is active in the discord server and is comfortable engaging with his fans and I think that alone is a really positive sign. Plus we have some incredible creativity and support !) do your best to contribute to the positivity and respectful, good content that we DO for the most part produce. You can make it clear that creeps, those looking to disrespect boundaries/privacy, etc. aren’t welcome here, but please try to do so effectively and only as needed. I know it’s kinda trite, but these people feed off attention and giving them more of it (regardless of whether it’s positive or negative) is only going to worsen the situation. In addition, if you can, please try to adopt the mindset that while flawed, this is an ultimately pretty good and respectful community. The more you express that it’s toxic and disgusting, the more it’s gonna live up to that.

[If you feel the need to distance yourself that’s totally fine and understandable too, just please do it for yourself and not as like. a statement I guess?? Idk I honestly haven’t seen anyone doing this I just thought it could be good to address]

TLDR: This community means a lot to me and I really desperately don’t want to watch it go to shit. Please for the love of whatever, let the toxicity die attention-less in the shade and just . be respectful. foster the actually positive parts of this fandom so they can prosper.
