And finally, @ckret2, whose writing is sublimely in-character and just a delight to read - they're a great artist, as well! I simply Could Not resist drawing their Bill in this ridiculous incredible and very fashionable pink feather dress, even though he only briefly wears it in their fic, so I also did a little bonus doodle of him in his standard hoodie to make up for it. XD (Also, as far as I'm concerned, Bill and Mabel were both correct in that lime green accessories make the dress Much Better.)

This is just a small selection of the human Bill designs I enjoy. I may draw and post more later on, who knows! #linktober #linktober 2024 #the legend of zelda #wind waker #ocarina of time #loz #loz ww #loz oot #link #josh art tag #had a lot of fun with this one despite how annoying it was to draw #oot link was at a difficult angle and i also just could not shade this for the life of me. restarted the shading like 3 times #i think im reaching that point in the cycle i typically go thru with my artstylr where ive grown tired of my shading style #to the point that i forget how to do it and it never quite looks right #so if my next post features changes to my artstyle thats why lol #but i enjoyed making this despite that cuz i like the ideas behind it!#i normally wouldve redesigned ww!link's outfit but i purposefully drew it accurately #to highlight how its more like a costume. cuz thats kinda what it was! and its modeled after the hero of times clothes #but is pretty innacurate. which i think is cool.. shows how much time has passed and how the view of the hero of time has warped #so i also purposefully made oot link wearing my redesigned outfit for him (even if you cant see much of it at this angle)#to further emphasize how ww!link's outfit is not only essentially a costume but is also quite innacurate #i like having ww!link ditch the costume for something else to show how he stops being some kid in oot!link's shadow #and grows into a true hero of his own #hence my ww!link redesign where i put him back in the lobster shirt. but i do keep some green and something similar to the hat #to have him fit in with the other links while still being unique #look i have a lot of feelings about ww!link and oot!link #i wish zelda would do more stuff like this... i think having oot relate to wind waker makes the story more interesting #and makes ww!link more interesting! cuz he cant be the hero of time they want. but he does become the real hero they need #the oot ww tp trio is so good... and they all work great as standalone games but their connections do really add something

The pain of rejection or of justice retribution punishment?#It's still the same face - and it's not like he's wholly innocent here either #And besides it's always fun to draw tears hee ♪#Get him just a bit disheveled aside from the broken bone - it's hard to imagine him in different clothes even after drawing him in the dress #Softer clothes would be so nice to hold Babybones with but even just dropping a shoulder off his coat or untying his bow tie - it's strange!#I do like the image of his flower crown shedding petals when he gets roughed up tho hehe - tossed around just a little too much!#Breaking his hand right down the middle - it'd be much easier with the holes in his hands as a weak point #All his bones could break easier than his hands before that but now-#It's weird to draw Asgore like that lol I dunno....Works well enough for utility but pffblt :P I always forget his pauldrons anyhow lol #Really rubbing it in that Gaster will be fiiiine he's sooooo special what with his ability to heal >:( Lol #It does make him a bit of a target - a regenerating punching bag? Aaaaaaahhhhhhhh today I've been constantly experiencing the urge to un-private today-in-the-devildom & start writing for it again

#i'm gonna ramble in the tags but #i've been talking with starr (if you're reading this--hi starr!! <3) about the blog today and sharing some of the entries #and it just made me miss it so much #+ the conversation actually made me realize some other reasons why i didn't enjoy the blog in general anymore #like i genuinely love the blog and i genuinely loved writing for it & that conversation reminded me of that #but also there were so many reasons that ultimately pushed me to more or less abandon the blog & then later private it too #so i'm kind of at a loss here #tbh i think i'm mostly just scared to pick the blog up again only for it to end exactly like last time i picked it back up #i've actually always wanted for the blog to be a source of inspiration y'know?#like the things mentioned in the entries are kinda just small ideas right #i was hoping that people would read these & feel inspired to write or draw something of their own based on my entries #that was actually what made me start the blog in the first place. the hope that i could inspire others that way #aaahhhhhh.... maybe it's on me since i could have more openly communicated that idea......#i did get to meet one wonderful person who wrote a few fics based on my entries tho!! The Me who bought tickets to see TMBG in february 2023 and the Me who's going to actually go to the show next month are two completely different people

#slash extremely negative #it's funny to actually live this whole sort of cliche of: the time between buying tickets and going to the show can be so absurdly long #with what was supposed to be my 1st 'real' concert no less #'i bought the tickets as a teenager but i'm going to see them in my 20s etc' and stuff like that #and then when it gets rescheduled too... well. a year and 9 months is in fact a pretty long time!!!#and i'm not even talking about rescheduling due to covid because god at least i didn't have to deal with that i guess #(it IS funny though that by the time the 30th anniversary of flood tour ends #flood will be 2 months away from turning 35. so yeah lmao a lot happened in the meantime huh)#anyways day two of going crazy going insane for no reason other than well i guess that's just my life now!!!!! 😃😃😃#me when i say i'll stop documenting my rapidly progressing mental breakdown online and then keep doing it anyway #but idk maybe this will heal me in some way. my only hope rn no joke #and my mom actually seemed to be unsure if i we should book the hotels and stuff because. ig i'm this obviously unwell even over the phone #but BY GOD this is the only thing i can really look forward to right now i really need this to survive #(trying to forget how i was doing in september of last year when they rescheduled the tour #and i couldn't even be sure if i'd ever get to see them in the end lollllll #and at the heights of my tmbg obsession this was my number 1 dream. i mean it still is)#also i think i'm finally entering my tmbg autumn era now with some more frequent listening after not doing so for a while #how could i let myself pretty much forget that i love tmbg??? and that their music is so good and makes me happy???#they're still my fav band of all time just like they were back then. My sudden onset and inexplicable obsession with genbu in the past year is really fun because I'm developing a lot of tuning skills that apply to literally no other voicebank and will never apply to any others again

#JK jk jk i think some could help with some utau powerscale-y banks maybe #maybe if i use a resampler with a tension curve or something #but its so funny. hes such a weird voicebank #nothing ive seen before in any other commercial concatenative bank. whats going on with him #but any tunung skills i get from him are useless with current ai banks LOL #but thats because i find with ai banks you really gotta exaggerate and draw some crazy lines #with benby you gotta focus primarily on the transitions and vowel endings i find with pitch bends #with like asterian i need to just start scribbling. his vibratos sound fantastic handdrawn too #and rikka i find i need to be suuuuuuper subtle with vibrato on her #i do kinda tune every voice bank differently in general though so i guess its fine that im learning no transferable skills LOL #now using bebbengy does make me forget to use special phonemes which is one bad habit hes taught me <3 #sorry that my ai banks never breath. i forget br exists sometimes #and dont get me started on how much i neglect end breaths and glottal stops in utau banks #i need to start remembering. i need to put like a readme file in all my utau voicebanks that shows their special phonemes #and open it any time i use them LOL my current method of just trying to vaguely remember is not. effective <3
