there are people keep saying sebastian is a loser while alex is some popular kid just because they look like the stereotypes of nerdy emo kid and a jock. saying this with whole my heart as a male alex liker, but sorry, you are wrong. sebastian didnt go to college but he managed to self taught coding and getting money out of it is fucking impressive. he has his own motorbike, and he has a group of friend who love and support him. he is pretty direct with his emotions and struggles once you get to know him on a certain level. and as for alex, this boy only has one friend (two, if you count emily in if thinking about the fact that he knew her through haley). he wished there were more girls in the town, but he never directly went out to talk with them besides haley,like boy what are you doing, but i kinda understand given how george was not much of a good figure good is not nice remember folks. alex did have a job, but it's more like a side gig given how his ice cream stand only open in summer and only in a certain time. and the fact that he tried to uphold his tough persona instead of opening up to anyone except dusty and the farmer, who accidentally caught him being sad, or how only after marriage he said that he never had many friends and didnt know what to do if the farmer didnt come here. that boy is a loser more than sebastian! but i love him for that <3

they are like "well sebastian lives with his parents" as if he didnt have a plan to move out. and not just him, there are many townies who are adults still live with their family like sam, shane, penny, haley and emily live with their parents before those two went travelling, etc, even his sister maru. and not to mention in some cultures, its normal to stay with your parents until you get married, hell, some households even have 2 or more generations living together. and living alone? in this economy? no fucking way my siblings in christ, saying this as an atheist

ok i know its getting too long but i also dont like how the fandom saying that alex is only good with male farmer and dismiss his sexist views towards female farmer at the beginning by saying it was because hes gay, given how there are gay men who are very misogynistic in real life. we all saw how george was when you married alex as a guy, and if you think deep enough, homophobia and sexist usually go hand in hand. like dont you look at me and tell me that peepaw doesnt have at least a sexist thought once. its good for both of them to grow out of it with both female and male farmer, but i think its worth mentioning that in male farmers route, we get to understand why alex turned out like that, as usually you would reflect some of your parents or caretakers behaviors, whether they taught it to you or you mimic them unintentionally. so i dont like anyone who hates him making alex being sexist as an engraved trait, he changed! he apologized and grew out of it later. also people who post character hate in their tags im watching you when you sleep if anything, pierre should get a fair share of hate for being sexist towards abby and caroline too, but i dont see people talk about it enough like how he acts towards the farmer and their products and stuffs

So Tengri,

Tengri literally means (the blue sky) "the eternal blue sky" is also a term used. Tengri is a Mongol/Turkish diety that has no face and cannot be personified. Tengri could almost be equated to those who say "the universe" in its place

Tengri is also described as dual natured.

Ex: Tengri is loving but has wrath

Tengri cares for all animals and plants yet allows them to pass away

Tengri is usually pretty mysterious as a result within my practice and therefore is usually approached via rituals or omens (occult symbols found in nature)

Unfortunately Tengri like many Pantheons has been partially lost to time and hasnt been translated much to languages like English. My suggestion for texts and local folks stories would be to find a translator, look into shaman religions like Tengrism, or pick up local languages such as mandrin, russian, turkish or mongolian (ideally)

Do you have any tips for researching historical fashion? I am very interested in finding out about many different eras of fashion for many cultures it’s just that whenever I try I get stuck and am not sure where to find any interesting resources. Have a wonderful day!

Sorry this took so long. I almost wrote a book last time and decided its unreadable for anyone other than me. So here u go with the more general and better formatted tips:

• start simple! Get to know the place youre interested in. Get to know the time period as a whole. Fashion is a broad topic that varies from place to place, so its better to start with the general ideas, and get more into smaller details from that; most of the time that basic information is easily accesible online and in various historical fashion books im sure you can find in your local library (i know its hard to recognize which sites and books are actually knowledgable and which are not; usually i just do a background check on the author and see what sources they use in their work. But even with that, dont get too attached to the information you gain; sometimes it will be correct, and sometimes it will prove false, and thats okay. Thats why youre learning and thats why you have to compare different sources to each other)

• The further down the timeline you go, the more "local" fashion gets, and looking for clothing examples gets harder, so keep that in mind; more often than not, if you want to find something from a different culture than yours, you have to get friendly with google translator, especially if youre looking for way, way older clothes.

• the reason for that is, you will not only have to check foreign sites and blogs, but also foreign archives; and these are a hell to navigate. Theyre also one of the best things to ever exist on the internet. Theres plenty of free, publicly avilable ones, hosted by museums, libraries, universities or just existing by themselves, and they have everything; scans of books and fashion magazines, fashion plates, old photos, drawings and sketches, everything. Research papers are great too

• speaking of art; its always good to look for paintings and artists of that era and culture! I dont think i need to say more on that. Books are great too, though i mostly use them for other history related stuff, since they usually dont describe fashion much

• overall, learning fashion history is a long and often slow process... id love to give you examples of sites, blogs and everything else i use, but its all in polish and very focused on 19th century; which will be useless, unless its something youre interested in. So its very much a thing you need to look for yourself... i know there are lots of historical fashion youtubers, but i dont personally watch any of them; from what ive seen though i trust that they know what theyre talking about, esp the ones that actually wear and sew historical clothes and reconstructions... theyre often focused on the west, though. At least the ones i know of; feel free to recommend some in the notes. In general feel free to post more tips and sources in the notes

Hope this can help you somehow. I dont feel like its very helpful, but its the best i can offer, im afraid. My "area of expertise" is not only european, and therefore easier to research, but also written in my mother tongue; i do however often look for foreign folk clothes, so most of those tips were written from that experience. Sorry if this isnt what you looked for

OK so like... say hi to my species giggle gaggle, theyre my most silly one i have... common looking vexeneers like these guys are open so like go nuts ig but please tell me if you make one!!! Ill write some addittional info about them

• There are nonbinary traditional clothing, its practically a combination of the already existing clothing or they can simply wear a traditional robe. Any vexeneer can wear both male and female clothing without judgement and theyre very open about it

• Theyre one of the only species able to fuse with eachother and other species, including their subspecies. Basically like steven universe, but it takes a lot of their energy, so they dont do it as often

• They can be born with wings, tipically males are more likely to be winged (40% more likely)

• Their head wisps work both as hair, horns AND tipically wisps. It purely depends on the vexeneer's genes itself, and depending on that too can determen the thickness and lenght of the wisp

• Max height for both genders is 10", min 5'5"

• Theyre an extremly physically strong species, very agile too! They have extremly thick skin, so it helps them prevent any serious injuries esspecially since they usually stay awake at night

• They used to have regenative powers on their limbs, but after the Stars landed on the planet, they evolved to slowly not have that advantige anymore

• They do not have any sort of visible pupils, the only time they can be seen is if you flash a light into their eyes or scare them as theyre very easy to scare, and it usually is seen as a very faint white pupil. Any other cases are either due to a disorder or medical injury.

• Their traditional music is very folk tale-ish, based on romanian folk music specifically! (Shhhh yeah im romanian i like my music leave me alone!11!!!)

A reminder to new folks because I feel I need to say this. It's a few specific rules and more of a 'this is how i roleplay' thing. It kinda got away from me fast but alas, I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable for any reason so I just said what I feel i need to say to make that happen.

My muse is mean. It's usually nothing personal but he is Mean if provoked. There is a line and it is Thin.

This extends to his friends, mostly as a show of ease around them and as jokes, its just how he is. a little jokey joke. he says things without thinking and sometimes that leads to misunderstanding or an otherwise "cruel" comment. He normally doesnt mean it like that (unless he does)

this account is like 80% crack. i am here to have fun and be silly. if you take me seriously and get offended by it then I'm sorry but frankly, I have stated this many, many times. I do roleplay serious stuff, I do focus on a little bit of storytelling every once in a while, but for the most part I am silly and quirky. My portrayal won't always be 100% ic, sometimes a little ooc is healthy, for the bit. I stay committed to the bit, always.

Of course. if he's mean to your muse and you don't like it then you can let me know and I'll tone it down. I'll never be an asshole to people I dont know are 100% down to it or who aren't familiar with how my muse acts. However, sometimes being mean is in character with my muse and theres no other way around it. But the more intense, "i want to cause psychic damage" convos I will always ask if its okay for my muse to go hard on yours.

Rodimus is aware of the multiverse. This does not mean he's aware of the history of each multiverse. He may be aware of them, briefly, but he is really not going to dwell on it much and if you expect him to know it he just. wont. He doesn't really care all that much. This is also to say that he may confuse your muse for someone in his crew because of looking alike, and will treat you as such unless proven otherwise.

There are no people who are "canon" to Rodimus' crew, not at the moment. The only ones who I can say with confidence who are in his crew are @weavingmemoir and @stealthfeline, who are also my muses. This is for practicality. If your muse is part of the Lost Light crew in general, though (brainstorm, whirl, megatron, etc) you can respond to my lost light posts as if you were a member of his crew, I dont really mind. Like I said: commitment to the bit, always. The bit is always funnier when more people join.

Don't pretend like your muse knows mine and vice versa without talking to me first. This is mostly about muses outside G1 and IDW, or even people in IDW that Rodimus never really met, as well as OCs. It isn't really towards muses who HAVE interacted with Rodimus at least a few times. It is Awkward having to figure that out, and I'm not particularly a fan of having to dig around for people's relationships to understand what's going on between your muse and mine.

I don't really care if your muse is banging another Rodimus, or anyone else from his crew. Like I genuinely do not care, and neither does he.

I'll always make adjustments if you ask me to. I'll create new verses to fit with your muse, but that requires communication first and foremost. This also goes for events, if you want in on an event just talk to me and we'll see about it together. My events are never 100% thought out because I like leaving space for other participants to have a say in what happens. I just think its fun, like a group project (but less stressful)

When interacting with me I ask to lay off on the quirky colors and varying different fonts in one single reply. I have a lot of difficulty reading things like that and it strains my vision and it gives me a headache. Just, always have the same font throughout, and if there are different fonts, please let them be at least readable. The standard tumblr fonts are fine, except 'lucille', and the small font tends to me specially frustrating sometimes.

This is a g1/idw based blog. I take stuff i like from g1 and stuff i like from idw and i slam it together until I have something I like. Rodimus does not like the prime title, he does not miss being a prime, and he absolutely does not appreciate being called one, unless its doing things for his ego or to make himself look greater than he is. He is an Ass.

😂 (What’s the funniest comment someone has left on a fic of yours?): I feel like this answer was harder to come up with than it should have been. After looking through my comments, I think the funniest ones are either a comment someone left on one of my Lord of the Flies fanfictions on Wattpad (that particular fic is only on Wattpad) that said "Wow jack should have just screamed in c sharp instead of the group using the conch" (copied and pasted), which is funny if you're in the fandom but probably means nothing if you haven't read the book. Or it's the comment someone left on my Norman-/Goblin-centric fic Car Crash (where Norman speeds through a red light on his way to work and gets t-boned by another car) that said "Dont use glider methods when on the actual road folks" (copied and pasted) which I thought was funny.

🎶 (What music do you listen to while you write?): I usually write without any music on. But when I'm struggling to write, I'll sometimes put on a playlist that's just a mix of a bunch of different songs, from pop to musical scores to movie scores and lots of other stuff. If I need to focus deeper on the writing sometimes I'll put on classical music.

😭 (Have you ever made yourself cry writing a fic?): I don't think I've ever fully cried writing a fic. But I tried to get close while writing the end of my Lord of the Flies fic I Promise, because the main character was close to dying and I wanted to make it as sad as possible (and then for the readers to realize that he didn't actually die). I've also tried to get close to tears at the end of the Post-NWH fic I'm currently working on, but to say more would be spoilers.

so im going to the doctor in 2 days (i go on the 30th and im writing this on the 28th) and im physically disabled, and this is the first time ive gone to the doctor since late 2019 when i caught covid, and the doctor im going to is our old pcp's son, and our old pcp constantly brushed my dad off and i have all the same stuff as him and m o r e, so i need advice on how to not get brushed off since im 14 and my dads side has a past of drug seeking and shit. ive already made a list of all my symptoms but other than that i straight up dont know what to do

oh, god, i’m so sorry. my medical neglect journey started at 16 (aside from psychiatrization starting at 14) & i had no language for what i was going through so this ask really makes my heart ache, for you & my past self. on the one hand, you knowing to expect & prepare for this kind of shit puts you leagues ahead of where i was at your age; on the other, no amount of understanding the systemic ableism behind your pcp’s behavior will erase the pain & trauma of not being believed.

here’s some general appointment prep i do + other advice, as always with the caveat that i am Just Some Guy on the internet & you know your circumstances best:

think about the narrative you want to craft. i’ve got a primer on how to lie to doctors if that’s the route you want to take. try to group things by category (autoimmune symptoms together, neurological symptoms at a separate point in the conversation, etc) without saying that that’s what you’re doing to like set up the paint by numbers for him & hope he picks up the brush.

in that vein, lead with the symptom you want to prioritize. doctors are trained to build a diagnosis around the “chief complaint,” so burying the lede—or even listing it second—is more likely to get those symptoms ignored.

in addition to listing symptoms themselves: when they started, frequency/duration, intensity, how it impacts your daily life. framing things through the lens of “i want to be a good little normative student but X keeps making it difficult to do Y” usually goes over better.

if a supportive adult will be with you, talk to them about what you’re going to say & at what point you’d theoretically want them to intervene / push back against the doctor’s response, & how so.

determine your goals for the appointment. do you want a referral to a particular specialist? certain testing to be done? a prescription for a particular medication? the more you’ve thought about what you want out of it, the easier it is to advocate for that outcome.

ask leading questions, invoke other authorities, & act like you don’t know shit. for example, if i was trying to get bloodwork of an ANA panel from my rheumatologist, i’d be like, “my pcp was really concerned about this face rash that i’ve been having along with my joint pain, he said there’s some sort of blood test to check if it’s, like, lupus or something?”

do your research, but never ever mention that you have. if you’ll have an adult with you & this would be a safe conversation to have / they’d listen to you, it’s worth mentioning to them that a lot of doctors get dismissive when patients mention having googled symptoms.

this post on finding + navigating specialists might be relevant, especially if you want to get a referral or try to find a new pcp (obv decisions affected by insurance or lack thereof, whether your parents are supportive, etc)

i’ve also got this post about coping with medical neglect & trauma if you want to plan for / set up any of those coping mechanisms in advance.

i really want you to know that no matter how your appointment goes, your disabilities & symptoms are real, & you deserve quality, compassionate, comprehensive healthcare. unfortunately, under an ableist healthcare system it’s impossible to earn our way out of medical neglect—fucking tragically, doing everything “right” at an appointment doesn’t mean we’ll get taken seriously—& equally, folks who don’t know or bother to play this bullshit game are still just as deserving of care & shouldn’t be victim-blamed for neglect they’ve experienced.

bonus: here's a behind-the-scenes into my VERY messy process with this sort of "middle step" where i put the sentence into Eliksni word order and mark up all the words so i know what will be a root word/affix/whatever.

Pulse-past simple gentle-adverb access point, check-past simple and two-check-past simple permission-plural RP 3sg summon-past simple, and push-past simple data-spear secure-adj inside Vex-realm.

notes below the cut so yall dont have to deal w a giant block of text (sorry! i'm not a very concise writer...)

stuff im proud of/want to highlight:

the construction for "data spike" literally meaning "machine-thought-spear"

the word for data isn't a direct compound of "machine" and "thought" bc that would be wayyy too long. i used a similar process as i do names where i mashed together individual syllables. i'm gonna try doing this more often, because i think over time really long compound nouns would just get squished down into a new noun

to say that an action is done again (in the way that the re- prefix does in English), you just prefix on "seyr" meaning two. (okay technically it's the counting word for two, not the plain numeral, but like shhhh i haven't even finished the numbers yet so never mind all that). if you wanted, you could just as easily use a higher number to really emphasize that you've done this action several times, tho anything higher than three comes across as very hyperbolic and usually is done in a joking tone.

the word for Vex is just Veks. no need to reinvent the wheel!

stuff that gave me a headache:

if you compare the sentences word-for-word you may notice i repeated the subject of the sentence "aadekspriist" at the beginning while the English sentences employs the pronoun "it". this is because in Eliksni, the subject of a sentence should not be a pronoun if there is ambiguity about what it is refering to. looking back at sentence 1, the last noun mentioned was "stone", not the access point. therefore, the subject of this sentence needed to be specified so a reader won't get confused about what "it" refers to.

the third person singular pronoun "kan" (here referring to the access point) is in the accusative form "kanen" in the relative clause to make it clear that is it the object of the verb "summoned". because the verb in relative clauses always goes to the end, word order couldn't be relied on to show what the pronoun was referring to

One of my favorite themes for meditation. As well as the whole album "Vagabond", it has 20 minute themes for each season of the year. Summer is my least favorite, idk why, I usually skip it (even though I love summer, my favorite season! =))

2. Tara - Tailor by trade

A rare vintage irish folk find. As far as I know, they released two albums on German label. Couldn't find the second one, sadly, but the first one is up on YouTube for free.

Last summer I listened to it a lot. This song is my favorite, along with the second one (Chemical workers) and the last (Madame I'm a darling). Actually, I've discovered them about 10 years ago when a local band was playing "Madame I'm a darling": later I found a video of their earlier perfomance, and this was in the recs.

3. Clann - Closer

Well there was a post about it ☺ I often do yoga to the whole Unseelie album, and yeah, this one was the first I heard (because of video cover image - reminded me of someone I love 😏) and it's still my favorite.

4. Faun - Gwydion

I love the whole album in general, often listen to it on my way to work.

5. Huldre - Knoglekvad

Haven'ta listened to it in a while, remembered about it recently.
