I'm gonna be a little bitch for a second GOD it's so so so fucking exhausting being a non USAmerican online. Like. Jesus fucking christ the levels of defaultism are just,,,, god. The 'default' audience for every post is Americans. American pop culture is universal obviously, and god forbid you bring up a show from your own country because no ones ever watched that! The millions of kids in your country don't count clearly. When American places are mentioned it's always Town, State, Country, but when anywhere else is mentioned you're lucky to get State, Country, or the closest major city if you're really lucky. Fahrenheit and MM/DD/YY and American spellings dominate even though they're the only country that uses them. People constantly talk about how x and y 'breaks the law'. They mean American laws, because those are obviously universal. American news and American politics are everywhere. You *have* to care about this. If you don't, you're a monster. The only time my country makes it is when we're literally burning to the ground, and even then they don't even touch the political side of things. Even international incidents somehow get brought back to America - call your representative (I dont have one). Go to these protests (they're on the other side of the world). Sign this petition (it's for US residents only). Im going to go insane.

I really think that if Stede had found Ed sooner in s2... before he got uh, beaten to "death"... their conversation wouldn't have been much worse than the one they had in fun & games. Ed would have probably locked himself in the captains quarters and sulked while Stede talked to him through the door. And eventually unlocked it to let Stede in... maybe to just let Stede sit with him a little and so he can scowl at him and let him know how angry he still is!!!! And he's not happy to see Stede again not at all!!! Ignore the little smile that forms on his face whenever Stede tells a joke! you're imagining it!!!

when I tell you I have never felt more loved and cared for by a show in my entire life than our flag means death I am so serious and that is never more present than in this final scene of episode 3. just ...the way they let us have this??? like realistically it's all gonna come crashing down next episode and reality's gonna sink in about how much work these two have to do to put things right but just for now, they let us have this. they let us enjoy the moment. they left us with one of the most beautiful scenes I've ever seen put to screen, just because it's been a long time and we've missed them and we just wanted to see them again and they said we know. we know what you want, so here it is. here's your epic romance. you've all seen the trailers, you know it won't last. but you can take a week to savour it. for a whole week you can rest easy in the assurance that these two people love each other and that's all that matters right now. and this is something I think a lot of those reviewers didn't understand about "giving the fans what they want" and what good "fanservice" looks like. it's not just an empty gesture. we needed to see this so badly. we needed to see that their love is still there and it's what's ultimately going to prevail. no matter the trials and tribulations ahead, no matter how much they struggle, their love is what's going to come through at the end of it all. and that's not just fanservice. it's a Promise.

I feel like we dont talk about one of the main reasons nico was ostracized at camp, not just because hes a son of hades.

Camp half blood is small enough so that rumors and information spread fast, but that doesn't mean they are always right. So imagine you're a random camper, and you're told nico, one of the new campers, gets in a big fight with Percy. During which he makes skeletons appear and somehow opens a huge crack in the floor. But percy wins and nico leaves camp.

Don't you think it would've rang a bell?

Don't you think it would've reminded them too much of two summers ago, with luke?

Dont you think everyone would've been even more scared, because now they know nico is a child of hades, one of the big three, and therefore very powerful?

There must have been so many rumors that summer of nico being part of the kronos army. Betraying camp just like luke did.

Of course after the battle of manhattan many people would've changed their minds. Hes in their side now, after all. But there are probably still many campers who think nico left them to join luke, before he changed their mind and helped them win against luke and kronos. People who still hold a grudge against him for joining the "enemy".

The only reason Ty didn't go Rogue (Outlaw Style) last season after spending so much time with MW is because he already had a Michael and it works like PEMDAS which, alas, in this case the order of operation goes Cowboy Michael > Michael > Cowboy Mikey > Mike/Mikey, so there was simply nothing to be done
