The change in Dan specifically since coming back from the hiatus makes me so happy. He's just so unabashedly comfortable with himself/affectionate towards Phil in a way that's making me realize how much of a wall he had up even in the "glass closet" era

I think the root of the problem with the horrible Drifter cutscene animations is the fact that female vs. male Drifter faces are SO WILDLY DIFFERENT... I tried to make my Drifter look atleast somewhat androgynous bc I headcanon them as they/them, but that is very much impossible when the male faces look Like That in comparison to the female ones. When the facial structures are so horrendously and obviously different, it's gonna be near impossible to make animations that fit both genders. I don't even LIKE calling them genders because I don't WANT them to be genders, but its VERY CLEAR that DE made the Drifter faces and cutscenes with only 2 genders and heterosexual romance in mind. My cutscene looked good because I romanced Amir and I just happen to like the female faces better, but I've heard people's horror stories over Discord. DE's animations do NOT support gay or lesbian relationships, which is really funny when right now we are chasing down Albrecht "Old Man Yaoi" Entrati himself
