Gosh, was that their final goodbye?

That’s a much more grounded moment. Yuuko gives them the glimpse of the future that they need, and they give her a promise that they’ll take care of Watanuki while Yuuko is gone.

And it means a great deal to Yuuko to hear that. Even as their voices drift away into silence and Yuuko is left alone.

I mean I could absolutely be wrong about Maru and Moro disappearing, but if this is their final "on screen" moment then it's at least a very sweet send off, and surprisingly with that final two panels.

I got these shoes from someone recently but thought they were way too plain looking, so I set out on a quest to customize them with some sharpies and charms and miscellaneous ribbon I had in my craft drawers. Mostly sky themed (clouds, rainbows, rain, stars, etc.) because that's my favorite aesthetic, but I had to include some cat imagery as well, of course lol.

#also honestly had NO IDEA that real converse have that star logo on the INSIDE not the outer part??? why the hell would you want it on the #inner portion where nobody can see it?? my entire life I always would have sworn it was on the outer facing portion..#I think these would be perfect IF they were just slightly taller (top part higher above ankles instead of just weird hard material digging #right into your ankle whenever you walk) and if they were actual good platforms. they're so short. It's good that 'chunky' shoes are gettin #more popular as they've always been my favorite Look ever since I had these shoes with roller skates that pop out of thebottom (not heelys.#but like. before those. it was two whole entire roller skate wheels like a normal pair of roller skates) and the bottoms were so tall and #clunky and it made my feet look giant (because it had.. entire wheels in the bottom pockets lol). so #I've alwatys been into the aesthetic but . still I find a lot of the 'brands jumping on trend' are too short of platforms #OR they're plafrorms with a raised back/heel/wedge which to me is not aesthetically good and also makes them exceptionally uncomfortable to #wear compared to just plain completely flat chunky platform bottoms. ANYWAY.. if these shoes had a 3 or 4 inch platform I think they'd be #cooler. however for what they are it's still fine! and I like them more now that they actually have some sort of anything to them and #aren't just plain white. The weird thing is that the material it's made out of (maybe some sort of leather or something) absorbs sharpie?#the color changes over time. You draw a mark and then leave it for a few days and it either fades into being barely there or has changed #colors. so I had to go back in and redo parts. ALSO the shoe chains are so funny because I did NOT have the right tools for them #I don't have the stuff to make bracelets or open and close the little rings. they're held onto the shoe with just safety pins and the actua #little rung things that hold the charms on half of them are like broken or the metal is just jam smushed together bent and warped hhbjhjhb #I actually like the back a lot where there's the irridecent star thing hot glued on there. it's cool and shiny. and the clouds #are sparkly on the main parts of the shoe though I'm not sure how well it shows up in pictures #ANYWAY... shoegs..... If I were rich this is one of the things I would definitely custom order from craftsman #why would I spend like thousands of dollars on plain ass shoes that are just expensive because they're a Luxury Brand when I could literall #like pay people to create me custom shoes to my exact specifications?? I could have like 5 inch flat platform boots with fur andclouds #and cat shaped holes in the bottom with LEDs in them with pom pom and charms and etc. etc. etc. Like as gaudy and excessively over #decorated as I want lol.. AND they could have skates in the bottom somehow!! ghjgbhjb #this on top of all the custom wizard costumes and period clothing I would order.. Like i LOVE customizing things. I love everything in my l #life being as particualr as possible and cultivating every experience I have to meticulously meet my own specific criteria as much #as is possible. If I had the money to I would never buy something from a store again. EVERYTHING I owned from furniture to clothing #would be either made by me - or mostly - comissioned from craftsmen. custom tiles for my floors. custom bed. custom table.#even like. custom toilet. custom sinks. etc. etc. ouGGH... but yeah.. anyway... shoes..

Huzzah, it is @sifkiweek once more! This year I have not missed the deadline! I am posting this for day one as it fits the “throne” prompt pretty well. I’ve posted it as two chapters just for neatness as the whole thing is almost 9000 words which seemed a wee bit unwieldy for a single chapter - both parts already are up so the fic is complete.

This year’s fic is a sequel to the fic I wrote for last year’s Sikfi Week, and you should probably at least skim that one so that this one makes sense: Bitter/Sweet

Anyway, the plot of this fic is that Queen Sif has a baby and this a) scares her and b) makes her reconsider her position on whether or not Thor needs to die. Oh no, a Corruption Arc!

i don't ACTUALLY care about people shipping rook/solas and i think you should have fun but i do think it is like. SO vital to the solavellan romance that she knows him as solas first. he gets to be -- has to be -- a lot of who he wishes he could always be -- just solas, just a person, someone who is valued and listened to and trusted just by virtue of being himself. not the myth that subsumed him or the duty attached to it.

rook will always know him as fen'harel first. he will never be able to be just solas to them.

#as in: fen'harel as a persona/title represents a barrier - prevents him from being fully himself #or having what he wants. fen'harel is the duty. it's the philosophy. yknow? it's standing for something. more than and less than a person #i think rook will get to see some vulnerability in him just by virtue of him being in Fade Jail and NEEDING to trust them #but i don't think it'll be the same <3 #carly.txt

So i had a dream last night which wasn't a nightmare and i even remember most of it! which is super exciting. I barely ever remember dreams that are just simply that so this is a fairly rare occasion for me.

It was weird tho

But it was.. i don't even know what it was so let me ramble about it in the tags a bit

#there was this bioluminescent and also biotoxic creature in a city at night #it was bipedal sort of humanoid shaped but with definitive deep sea features #it had that transparent skin and flesh and body with bioluminescing highlights #which i have no idea how it worked because the entire dream took place in a city enviroment on very much dry land but it's a dream innit #the face was definitely not human more a jumble of fishy features #it was gorgeous btw in a humanoid monster sort of fascinating way #it had this weird feel to it that it's something very old that should not be here now.. some sort of reminiscence of a bygone era #i might try to draw it but i don't know how successful i'd be to be honest #anyway so i was part of a group (don't know what kind exactly) and i never seen any of them i just knew they existed #and there was this innate knowledge that the creature was kind of hunting or more like luring us but we also were hunting it #i don't know if it did something to us before or we just had this unexplainable pull towards it but we definitely were fixated on it #and it was supposed to be a big threat even just by existing and walking around but also would have been bad if it was dead #but i don't know why was it so bad because the “toxicity” of the creature wasn't lethal it just made you stuck in a blissful delirious stat #just by being too close to it and which in most cases would fade when it moved away so the other alternative felt way worse #cuz if it would die something else would have gotten loose which would have been worse than the delirium #it was some sort of unstoppable deadly madness i think.. at least that was what i felt the dream eluded to #and i think we wanted to neutralize it somehow but we had no idea how to avoid disaster that surely would come if it dies #but it would have also revitalize nature on a basically divine scale by giving it's body back to it so there was this dilemma the whole tim #but none of us would have any answers so we just followed this inner draw regardless of the uncertainty #and the entire dream was basically us lureing the creature somewhere but simultaniously it was somehow luring us in as wel #to the same spot #it was a vast moonlit fieald outside of city bounds surrounded with tall dark trees and the sky was littered with stars #and a sharp cliff to one side #so we arrived there and we were standing on opposite sides and look towards each other #but looking into the creatures eyes literally woke me up #there was a noise it made and i know i understood it as words inside the dream but i can't remember what it was after waking just the noise #and that was it #it wasn't long i think tho it felt that way

my sticks are headcanoned in such a way that it's kind of hard to do but i honestly love the hcs that accentuate the 'abused and discarded toy' aspect of Victim..... it's so fucked up but it's accurate to what they went through as a character....

#tommy's foolery #tommy's stickmen tag #victim is fascinating to me. there's so much wrong with them #i also love the (albeit conflicting) headcanons that victim faded from age or from the program freezing #for my vic it'd probably be the second considering their 'halo'!#the angel concept is also interesting and i like the way people draw it but just. not for me i think #probably bc i walked in the fandom right as victim went 'i'm going to torture a man' SLKJGKLDJLKSGD #victim headcanons in general are simply fascinating because we have so little basis for them #for chosen and dark we have a lot of stuff with them being extremely expressive and obvious abt what they want #but with ava 1 i don't think alan was planning much more than a one-off #so that's not exactly helpful to their character very much #and ava 6 hasn't been completed yet so we can't exactly say we know what their goals are or how they think of themself #oh god this got long. sorry

#lion king 2 #vitani lion king #kiara lion king #vitani/kiara #.#..#kid me brainstormed a whole AU where kovu was a lot younger than vitani and kiara and his brainwashing was a lot more tragic #after watching kiara and vitani meet bc of both looking out for him as cubs #and bonding over that #kiara as this new big-sister figure who ISN'T pushing for training or violence and never yells or snarls-#cub vitani stuck between believing kovu is the only hope for their pride and wanting her little brother to be happy actually #kiara knows the outlands are dangerous but keeps visiting kovu and kovu's adorably snarky older sister #nuka (supposed babysitter) knows sOMETHING is going on but vitani manages to keep him off the track for a long while #until one day she's too busy having fun with kiara too #and then nuka sees his chance #kill a pridelander cub and bring it to mother- won't she be PROUD #vitani's still got the best reflexes of the siblings though so she jumps in between them #oooooh kid me wanted ANGST wanted vitani scared by a shocked and furious nuka and then nuka scarred by tiny enraged kiara's little claws #i don't think kid me ever figured out what happened next #something about kovu being twisted by zira and nuka to blame the whole thing on a trick / trap by kiara #and vitani letting it happen so kovu would go off on kiara #hopefully keeping them both safe by putting a stop to the little meetings...#but they all grow up and if the scars don't fade neither do the feels or memories and blah blah blah GAY GAY GAY
