yes! relationship!peter does it proudly, situationship!peter is a bit more stealth. iphones have a wallpaper feature where if you hold the screen down you can swap between photos and i imagine that’s how it is.

peter went home for a week and really missed you and went through his photos and he saw that picture he snapped of you at a party. the background is blurred, proof that the liquor was flowing heavily. you’ve got a smile that shows off almost every tooth and a vice grip on a liter of rum. he doesn’t know why, but he made it his wallpaper for the week and would pick up his phone every five minutes just to look at it.

relationship!peter has a picture of the both of you. something he looks at and is reminded of what he has and how much he truly loves you. it was from a double date night you both had a few months into being official, your friend pressured peter for the photo, he rolled his eyes and gave in. he’s glad he did. it’s his favorite.

you’re wrapped around him in a side hug, peters got a grip on your shoulder. he’s laughing at something your friends date said, he’s wearing the grin you tell him you love. but the reason he has such adornment for the photo is because of the way you’re looking at him.

your eyes are bright and shining, your smile matches his, not because you found anything funny, but because peter’s joy was contagious for you. each time he looks at it he feels warmth radiate, a visual reminder of how much you love him.

you wouldn’t mind but peter didn’t tell you until last minute and now you’re sitting down at an empty table at the library while they fill up a rented room across from you.

‘it’ll be longer than that and you know it.’

‘you’ll be fine. give me a kiss.’ you meet him with one, you grumble down at your phone. ‘my phones about to die, what am i supposed to do?’

your eyes narrow, you hate his sarcasm. ‘the library doesn’t have instagram reels, peter. how am i supposed to entertain myself while you’re talking numbers and business?’

there’s a miniature battle of silence, you win when peter groans and hands over his phone from his back pocket. ‘here. use mine.’ you reach forward, peter’s giving you unbridled access to his phone, you’d be dumb to say no.

‘nuh uh. you promise me right now you won’t fuck up my algorithm, i spent months perfecting it.’ you make grabby hands, ‘promise.’

the sleek, black screen is in your hold in seconds. your thumbs fly over the screen, you’re in and on instagram in a second. peter looks back once more, ‘thirty minutes.’ you nod, the first video already playing, you wish you could send it to peter. you send it to yourself to send back to him when you’re at a full charge.

ten minutes and you need a refresher, wandering around towards the bathroom you grab a water from a vending machine. cracking the cap, your left thumb pressed into peter’s home screen and his wallpaper separated, another photo right next to it.

you can recognize the edge, you swipe and feel your heart melt into a puddle. it’s you and only you. smiling and posing just for peter. he snapped the pic and saved it, he even went one step further and put it as his screensaver. a backup one, but something tells you he doesn’t want you knowing it exists.

you can keep a secret.

you can’t stop smiling at his phone and the short videos playing aren’t even that funny. you perk at a kiss on the top of your head. ‘told you i’d only be thirty minutes… what? why are you looking at me like that?’

‘no reason. it was very nice of you to offer me your phone, thank you.’

another kiss, you can’t wait til you get him alone. you might be the only one in on the secret, but he was going to be treated very nicely for it.

‘no problem, trouble. what’s mine is yours.’ your heart thumps louder. ‘and now,’ peter gently pulls you up with him, you’re along for the ride.

So I’ve worked out my theory based off everything we know, plus the stills.

My theory is that somehow the subject of an open relationship will come up. I know this has been suggested, and IMO, maybe it’s the person at the cafe (because I think we’re assuming that picture we saw weeks ago of Oliver in his work clothes at a cafe is this ep?). Maybe they know Tommy, maybe they’re just trying to flirt with Buck or Tommy, maybe a number is offered and they don’t know either of them.

And I know people complain that they don’t want communication to be the issue bc BuckTommy are so good at it, but hear me out. Would it ultimately be a communication issue (in some form)? Yes. But also.

In my head, he (Evan) gets upset at the suggestion that this person may (or may not) have had something with Tommy (or wants it, or some variation of that), which led to him assuming that Tommy either a)has been seeing other people the whole time, and/or b) wants to. So ofc Buck goes to his sister in a tizzy bc he has strong feelings for this man he’s been with for six months and things have been great and Bobby is finally back and blah blah blah, but he’s not sure he can do this whole thing of an open relationship if that’s what Tommy wants.

Queue Josh walking by and being like “open relationship? Tommy Kinard? Wait, you might be available soon? And/or Tommy” at which point Maddie explains what’s going on to Josh and he’s like “oh you sweet little baby bi.”

So then we get a talking to about how Tommy likely wanted Evan to have the option bc (multiple reasons but I’m going with the obvs stereotype: some bisexual people want access to both men and women regardless of relationship status). And Buck is like “but I’m very secure in my relationship so that must mean he wants to see other people.

Again, queue Josh laughing. “No no, Buck. Tommy Kinard is so beautiful in the WeHo community that any time he’s been single, a bat signal goes up. Before you, that man was a regular at the gay bars, especially during theme nights. I’m assuming you’ve heard about the karaoke trivia? He was the winner three years running.”

“Your point?”

“My point is he maybe shows up once a month now and doesn’t even participate because he’s off the market. Anytime I see him out now, it’s one drink and he’s gone because he’s got somewhere else to be.”

At which point we get the explanation from Maddie about him definitely being sure of his feelings this time, and that he should probably tell Tommy.

So then we get the loft scene, Evan explaining how he talked to them and Tommy’s lil smiley face being all “I never talked to anyone else, I just wanted you to have an open line of communication if that was something you were interested in.”

We get something akin to “I’m not interested in anything but you. Maddie said after our first date that I wasn’t sure of my feelings, but I’ve had a lot of clarity on that over the past few months, and I think I panicked because the last time I said this, if wasn’t from an honest place.”

And then we get “said what”

“I love you.”

Kiss. End scene. Roll credits.

(Okay maybe the end is more wishful thinking but I think the theory has legs!)

As for punishing Alicent, Aemond and Criston - I will give my TB perspective if I may :)

I support the idea that Alicent should be punished. Just like Luke should. It's more about "how to punish one person for hurting the king's child without punish another person for hurting the king's child." Aemond was kid, but Rhaenyra was heir to the trone. Luke should be punished (NOT by having his eye gouged out), but Alicent can't go unpunished. He took Aemond's eye, she attacked Rhaenyra and wounded her with valyrian steel to the bone. They both should be punished.

Criston should face the same consequences as all the rest of the guards who guarded the royal family in Driftmark. No one checked that Aemond (the prince) did not reach the bed at all. He disappeared in the evening and didn't come back, and no one noticed. What if he fell off a cliff? If Vhagar rejected him? They would find his body or ashes and… what? The two heirs and two granddaughters of the Lord of Driftmark/the king's nieces left the castle unnoticed in the middle of the night to fight "someone who is stealing Vhagar". They didn't know it was Aemond. They could have died. They would find their bodies or they wouldn't and... what?

As for Aemond. In my opinion he knew what he was doing was wrong, that's why he ran away to do it in the middle of the night. He should have known that he shouldn't run away in the night LIKE he was stealing dragon, and go and bond with it properly, under proper supervision, like every other Targaryen had done before him. He should have known that he couldn't use the dragon as a death threat against his younger cousins who lost their mother to the dragon. I know he didn't know them. But he should understand how empathy works and that he's a child who shouldn't be threatening to use a dragon as a weapon. Every child, not just Luke, should understand that escalating violence (physically or verbally, as Aemond did) is wrong.

This is my opinion and one that I know I share with other TBs I know. Some people have… weird ideas, but it works both ways. Some TBs say Aemond should be sent to the Wall, and some TGs say Luke should be completely disinherited, mutilated and his dragon killed. Both attitudes are wrong.

i will say that rhaenyra offering to have aemond "sharply questioned" & taunting alicent with that "thank you, father" line & alicent just being very upset and distraught over her son losing his eye is what prompted her to finally lose it and attack rhaenyra. it's not something she was proud of & regretted it the next morning (i really wish that from that moment on the show would make alicent more like her book counterpart... but she was obvs regretting snapping out lol)

technically yeah she attack rhaenyra with a knife, but this fandom's unwillingness to sympathies and recognize alicent's pain is very upsetting to me. i'm seeing a lot of posts like "alicent should've been killed & locked up & whipped" and i'm like... are you fr? this woman is clearly upset and hurt over her son's injury. even rhaenyra and viserys or even daemon never tried to get alicent punished.

wrt to aemond - according to f&b he was sneaking out because he knew his parents would never allow him near vhagar. like i've said, he was supposed to return to KL very soon, and vhagar couldn't come with them to the dragonpit because she's too big. would she just disappear like she had when baelon died? would she go to dragonstone - that's very possible. but he couldn't go to dragonstone since his mom and rhaenyra are beefing.

and considering aemond's character. it was something he wanted to do on his own. he wanted to prove himself. & was 10 and didn't really think through the whole thing. we really don't know much about how targs claim dragons. there aren't any rules. you can just try to mount them and hope for the best lol i think that a dragon also chooses the rider based on personality. vhagar and aemond bonded over feeling lonely . that and aemond's bravery is exactly why vhagar accepted him. and wrt to empathy, listen, not going to justify what he said to the girls, but kids can be really really mean lol aemond's not shown to be very empathic in general & especially not to 2 strangers standing together with his bullies.

anyway, yeah, physical punishments are always bad. especially to kids???? i blame mostly viserys for not showing his son & alicent that he cared about them & just handling the whole situation very badly. in f&b he banishes harwin to harrenhall & sends rhaenyra to dragonstone & makes that threat that he'll cut the togues of anyone who speaks against rhaenyra's family. that makes so much more sense then show version.

I have 3 things to talk about…

1. How nice it was to see Tim talk to the guys about his fight with Lucy. I’m literally shocked that he was so open with them! I love that he’s growing, opening up and confiding people that aren’t just Lucy and Angela (And Genny to an extent) he was so many friends now!

2. I am unable to move past how married™️ and sweet and domestic it is that Lucy calls tim to get the bugs at home 🥹 and how she suspected that he was just killing them but didn’t say anything and Tim was like pretending to set them outside even tho he wasn’t because he appreciates how empathic she is to even bugs 😭 I just can’t get over the idea that badass Lucy Chen is scared of bugs, well maybe not scared but whatevs, and makes her grumpy boyfriend take care of them but still insists he doesn’t just kill the scary bugs — do we think post Jackson death, pre-Chris she would call Tim over to handle the super big ones? Omg can you imagine? I’m dead

3. Can we talk about how the dance was like the biggest indicator we’ve ever had that these two are so FREAKIN TACTILE WITH EACH OTHER! Like it was kinda obvious before that their shared love language is touch, but I feel like you really, very clearly see that in the dance. And I just 😭 they love each other so much and just want to touch and snuggle and be with the other so much.

I am still very unwell. And I haven’t even processed the ILY’s fully yet so we’re not gonna go there 😂😂😂

. The 'bug scene' Listen, after the dance, this might be my favorite part of the episode. This scene was the cutest thing ever… and yes, it was peak married energy. Let's be real here : what is the point of having a boyfriend if it's not to have him take out the trash and deal with the bugs? (just kidding!). Seriously though… Lucy once said that she used to treat the coackroaches in her first apartment as pets (3.11 I think), so it's not like she is fundamentally scared of bugs. Neither is Tamara for that matter. She just wanted Tim to take care of them, in a very Lucy way. But the fact that she knew he was killing them all along but pretended not to know is perfect. Again, that is so her. And then, add the other layer to that scene. Out of all the questions she could have asked, she chose this one. I feel like it was her way of diffusing the tension, of making Tim more comfortable by asking such an innocent question, with no stake at all, before bringing up the real issue between them.

. Tim at the bachelor's party scene You have no idea how much I wish that part had been a little bit longer, so we could see more of the reactions. Still, I love how this scene was cut, with the back and forth between the two parties. How both of them needing to confide their frustrations to other people. And you're right, this is huge for Tim. At best, he would open up to Lucy (obv not an option here) or Angela. Maybe Genny. But certainly not someone like Randy who he barely knows and who can't keep a secret. Or even Aaron… His former aide. That's how much this relationship is important to him. It may have started as a way for him to vent but he also wanted to hear some advices. And he did listen to Randy's suggestion - of all people.

. The dance On the one hand, did anyone still have any doubt that these two are so tactile with one another? The undercover mission was all the confirmation we needed, really. But on the other hand… I didn't think it was possible for them to be even more tactile. It's somehow more intense, more intimate… It just shows how much they craved reassurance. They needed that touch to ground themselves. Lucy needed to play with his lapel and he needed to pull her in closer to him. And don't get me started on how she was playing with his hair or caressing his face. IN PUBLIC. There was no room for Jesus in that dance. I'm a big fan of demon hybrids having animal traits in the sense they're technically demon traits but plenty demon designs are based off animals to some degree, and I'm a biology enthusiast. So here's some of mine:

-Neros demon arm in dmc 4 is a result of his body trying to protect him. Similar to scaring, because he got attacked by a demon and it's noted he thought it was infected his body's immune response to being expose to demon (germs? Fluid? Breaking of the skin in general?) Was to basically activate his DT form in that one area likely to stave off infection and or prevent future damage. Again like scarring in humans. My supporting evidence is in DMC 5 Neros demon arm has changed to look like his according DT trigger. This is not to say DT forms are basically trauma, but that as a bodies defensive measure is less stable and functional the younger you are. Bc most of your bodies resources are going towards growing and hormones.

- Dante eating pizza with like almost all toppings could reasonably be backed as being because be it just using his guns or taking a DT form it's gonna be quite physically taxing. Carbs provide energy, it woukd realistically burn a ton of energy to do things like shapeshift. (You could make a case of this applying a similar way to V where functionally being split in two (6 counting Gryphon nightmare shadow phantom) means vergil was already running on fumes and Urizen just got most of it hence he still needed the qliphoth fruit for power. But also why even when eating it afterwards Vergil is still basically on equal footing as Dante. It basically just got Vergil at a healthy...everything. and it may be why Griffon Shadow and Nightmare weren't merged back in as well (yes symbolism obv but lemme support it with this) because the fruit was like a extreme multivitamin griffon shadow and Nightmare would be akin to like overdosing on vitamins. (This is also why Neros arm is basically in a DT state in dmc 4 but otherwise his DT is like a shadow. It's a lot of energy so this is his bodies closest thing it can manage due to energy but i wouldnt rule out age too as Dante had no issue going full DT at 18) this may also be why Nero can have his DT arms out without transforming fully into a DT form but also may just be bc he's 1/3rd demon

- Urizens form having so many eyes is a result of him still getting some of vergils trauma bc ptsd shows up as hyper vigilance/more activity in the brain.

- Neros DT form in dmc 4 and 5 both has downward horns akin to vergils dmc 3 DT form but also they are wing like in a way that reminds me of Credos Angelo form (esp in the chest) and his chin spikes are like Dantes DT form in 5. I think this is like half formed by genetics half formed by experiences in a way bc of those details. this also explains despite being idential twins dantes and vergils DT forms are so different. (Dante will never say it but he wishes his wings were also an extra pair of hands this is because he could eat more slices of pizza at a time)

- yknow how in some ways horns make cooling off easier because it pulls an animals blood out of their body through said horns to be cooled and then go back in the body? Dante and Nero can use this to cool off but Vergils broken horns don't allow this.

- bc Nero has more of a reptile/raptor motif and Vergils is more on the fish side with fin mentions I interpret this as Neros scales are made of kertaine like hair and Vegils are made of Dentine like teeth.

-until Nero regret a human arm his DT formed arm shed. This normally doesn't happen for Dante and vergil but that's bc theyre not in their DT forms 24/7.

I ALSO THOUGHT THE SAME ABOUT NEROS ARM!!

I always thought that the reason why dante never got carpal tunnel from pulling the trigger of ebony n ivory sm is because his body would heal it before it got a chance. Vergil's horns could also be broken because his internal body temp is MUCH higher than his kin, and therefore that xtra heat in his hosts is still being vented despite how broken they are?? idk.

Why do I feel like Oscar is intentionally keeping Lando at a distance because he assumes it would never work out? And Lando kind of wishes Oscar would show an interest but he isn't so Lando pulls back too? Maybe I'm totally crazy but feels like they're doing a double fake out. If not then why not just be friendly the way they are with other guys?

I've tried giving this a look at other angles since obv none of us knows - and likely won't ever know - for sure, and I think the one way I can see this being the case is mixed signals? bc I feel like it being deliberate on either of their parts is too far a stretch.

long thing below and usual caveat that no I do not write this stuff thinking I actually know what's going on and it's just for fun and I do not take it seriously !!

like on the one hand, for a while before and even after meeting Oscar, Lando kept having to hear about this "rookie" who'd soon be his teammate and how he'd be the more experienced one etc. jokes about him "looking after" the new kid and how is he settling in blah blah. none of which Lando was remotely enthused about, understandably so. unlike team sports, mentoring isn't really something teammates do for each other in racing since they're each other's greatest measure of competition.

and Lando joined F1 so young (and was in the McLaren development program even younger) that while his talent and personality often deceives a lot of people into thinking he's become established and experienced, Lando himself doesn't rate experience much when it isn't bringing race wins or the WDC any closer. and his personality on camera was largely defined by latching onto Carlos and Daniel. he was a little more vulnerable around Carlos but mostly the dynamic of big brother/baby brother was the same for both those relationships. Lando with Max F and the Quadrant folks is pretty different to who he is with those older guys.

so it's easy to see why he didn't feel at all prepared to play the role that everyone kept assuming for him when Oscar came along. and re this babbling I did I genuinely think the difference between how young and small Oscar still was when they first met in winter of 2022 to the infamous "did you grow, what the fuck" moment was transformational for Lando. you look at his eyes gluing themselves to Oscar when Oscar isn't looking and the cheeky way he keeps getting Oscar's attention - and the way Oscar can't hide his surprise and how pleased he is - and I truly think the dynamic started to shift from a sort of stiff friendliness to Lando being genuinely interested in this guy.

Lando said himself that before the season properly started, he and Oscar had been so busy when they were in the same space that they didn't really talk beyond hello and goodbye. which needn't have been the case. I think a fair part of that was Lando's poor bruised heart at having Carlos leave and then Daniel being bought out, just not ready to deal with what he could fairly assume would be some younger guy jumping in wanting to do the bromance bit and glom onto Lando's popularity - all while probably cynically planning to strategize a way to a better seat or maybe one day take Lando's place at McLaren. his knowledge of Oscar at that point was of what a strong up and coming threat he was and that he had the balls/audacity (depending who you ask) to go up against his development team. and that Oscar had gone F1 fandom viral multiple times and was actually an existing personality to F2 and F3 circles. nothing about Oscar seemed vulnerable or unsure and yet people would not stop asking Lando about him as if he were Lando's responsibility.

and as Oscar said, his low frequency personality can often get mistaken (even by Mahk Wibba!) for not caring or being engaged. and if someone wasn't aware of his social media then I could see them thinking that someone as cool and calm as Oscar was almost aloof or disinterested.

with that limited knowledge, Lando would have been right to be wary. hell, Lando was distinctly cool toward Daniel when Daniel showed up pushing the 'landan' agenda as replacing carlando. we all know they ofc became good friends. but we also know that Lando wasn't remotely going to be guilted by Netflix or the fans into feeling responsible or overly concerned for Daniel's struggles. Lando was still very young and focusing on cementing his place in the sport. Daniel's inner and outer turmoil as a 30-something was for him to deal with.

so knowing what we now do of Oscar, this was not an ideal setup for him to meet the driver and new teammate - The Lando Norris - who he'd been a fan of for almost all of his junior career.

and on Oscar's side, it is extremely safe to say that after the Alpine/DR drama he just wanted to get his head down and prove to McLaren he wouldn't be any trouble and was more than willing to put in overtime at MTC and solo with the engineers (I think he essentially said this in the Laura Winter interview). his time spent in the car would speak for itself. but I feel like it's also fair to assume that Oscar not only being a fan of Lando's already but also knowing that he was following in Daniel's wake, Oscar mostly tried to just… not be a problem for Lando. that he put all the power and control over how their relationship developed outside of the track and meetings fully into Lando's hands - if indeed a relationship would develop (and it doesn't always). Oscar was used to looking after himself and he'd probably preferred to not risk upsetting Lando's routine or worse, pissing him off. I would not be at all surprised if that's what Oscar assumed was the safest, simplest approach.

but !! Oscar not launching into a bromance for the sake of his own image and him not trying to push for a relationship immediately for the sake of cementing the partnership would absolutely have felt weird and alien to Lando. and considering what was popularly said about Oscar following the Alpine stuff, him not pushing himself into Lando's space possibly would've come off as distant or cold and probably a bit calculating/cocky. maybe even a bit as if Oscar was so sure of himself, his youth and so laser focused on his own advancement (and boy did Netflix frame it up that way, dramatic Dutch angle and all) that it seemed as if he didn't see the point or the need in benefiting from an alliance with Lando. again - that's just possible conclusions that someone like Lando who hates having his stability threatened might have felt.

this is an even more HUGE leap but we know that Oscar visibly watched Lando closely since the start of the season and was learning from him and about him. and that Andrea had already instilled his new 'team before driver competition' ethos. and that Lando had seen examples of Oscar showing up for him - as a teammate at least - when their relative 'fortunes' before the updates would regularly see Lando in a better position or a better result. and like, if I were to truly jump to a conclusion here I'd say that Lando's gradual thaw in between Australia and Monaco absolutely delighted Oscar - and that he wouldn't have expected any more from Lando at all. Lando being chummy with him during media and a bit of bonding over the state of the car at the time could easily have felt more than enough for Oscar. (and just to throw in here as well that in those much earlier videos together, there were little flashes of Lando's sarcasm bordering on passive agressive but Oscar just laughing delightedly. like I think he fully either didn't mind or didn't notice that Lando was bleeding a bit of genuine annoyance over the car into their dynamic at times. the British theory test is a very good example of that.) whereas from Lando's perspective, maaaaaybe Oscar being so content with so little effort from him - compared to Carlos and Daniel - could have confirmed his suspicion that Oscar wasn't actually interested in being truly friends or bonding? idk that's me really exploring a big blue vague space asgfjlsagf. even more than I already do lol.

now I'm not saying at ALL that these friendships are remotely phony or PR because they're absolutely close in real life! but there's also no doubt in saying that like a lot of the drivers, Carlos and Daniel show up to a new teammate with the usual bromance shtick in their back pocket. and with how successful carlando and dando have proven to be with fans and sponsors and networks, they play into it with just a touch of cynicism even now. again, not saying that's nefarious at all and Lando's no dummy when it comes to personal brands and "shipping" etc. the boy is a youtuber/streamer lol so he /knows/. but yea, the 'oooh aren't we acting gay!' and overly touchy feely stuff especially is entirely for the fans' benefit. and we eat it up aslgfjsagf.

but Oscar has literally never had a bromance in any of the stages of his career and he doesn't publicize any of his non-racing friendships like the boys from boarding school he's still close to. we know he has probably a higher level of awareness of queer existence/culture than most of these guys and he doesn't hide it. I know the bar is in hell but it's significant enough that Oscar's never once used 'gay' as either an insult or as a hilarious joke - and he's had an active presence on social media since 2019 (his dad managed everything before that). when a Prema challenge was for him to kiss someone in the room and Arthur kept pushing, we know from the thumbnail that Oscar gave him a kiss through the covid plexiglass and then rolled around giggling. but he didn't treat kissing a guy in particular as 'hilarious' and he's never 'played gay' with any other guys. he also doesn't talk about Lily as if she's an accessory or "his". he brings her up in the context of things they did together or things she told him etc. the boy just doesn't know any degree of toxic masculinity apparently!!

where this gets confusing for Lando is that men are always dying to touch or cuddle or fawn over him - whether it's as a cute little brother like Carlos does (sorry fellow carlandos but that's the non-rpf truth) as a stereotypical bromance like Daniel does (and oh how I love that his ass caught feelings when he didn't mean to) or some potent mixture of fondness and attraction, which constitutes basically every other man who's met Lando.

and god knows I've written time and again how poor Lando does not know what to do with Oscar when Oscar looks with such intensity and he says so many things that show Lando respect and care and kindness. but he simply will not touch him ?? and he won't even half-fake half-serious flirt with him !! and he won't even take the bait when a bromance moment is pushed on them ! and when they're pressed close like in Twister, Oscar looks pink and flustered and refuses to put his leg between Lando's even though Daniel and Carlos have practically wrestled Lando with limbs akimbo multiple times. Oscar initiating the side hug at Silverstone was such an event that even Lando looked staggered by it. that's so strange !! Oscar is not remotely homophobic and he's not at all stand-offish physically and he's fine with people touching and hugging him. sure he doesn't do excessive PDA even with Lily but he still does some. he clearly is fond of Lando and doesn't mind when Lando decides to touch him. but we haven't even seen them hug ! and Oscar will give Lando such sincere praise and respect but he won't use hyperbole or make jokes like Carlos saying he was jealous of Lando liking Daniel or Daniel cracking sexual jokes about him and Lando.

and I fully feel like that breaks Lando's brain a little and has to make him falter at times bc everyone touches Lando and crosses easily over into some form of casual intimacy with him. Lando hides absolutely nothing and is extremely easy going. people feel very comfortable engaging with him, knowing that he'll play along so long as they're being kind or friendly.

and I think that's where the decision Lando made to let his brattier moods out around Oscar comes from. it's a very weird sort of compliment to Oscar that Lando isn't worried about pissing him off or being rejected - and I think it came from Lando being a little frustrated with Oscar for not falling in line with how everyone else is with him and not being able to get a secure read on how Oscar feels about him. as well as like I said earlier how Lando would be a little passive aggressive in his humor but Oscar never took offense. so Lando lets all his petulance and impatience come out around Oscar in a way I don't really know that he does much with anyone else? I think there's been a few times he's gotten like that around Max but Max has a good strong hand with him. but even when Lando goes Full Brat like the beloved Tic Tac Toe filming day Oscar is still endlessly charmed by Lando and you can see Lando soften and blush bc he knows he’s really letting it all out and Oscar is still being so good with him. Carlos would’ve picked him up and put him in a bin and Daniel would’ve out bratted him ajsbjsbsjd.

we know that Silverstone was a huge stepping stone for Lando and Oscar's relationship but I wish I could pinpoint before then when it was that Oscar realized just how much he couldn't apply his former racing friendships as a model for interacting with Lando. that Lando is anything but 'typical blokey guy' and even more than that, he isn't remotely typical or like anyone else in any way. definitely it was after Australia and by Austria the shift had already happened and we could see Lando watching Oscar as much as Oscar watched Lando. the trust and beginnings of feeling comfortable had already begun to be earned before Silverstone for sure.

and by the time he did this BTG interview, the genuinely fond way he talked about Oscar and mentioned the ways they're similar is such a major shift from simply saying that Oscar is calm and super quiet and fast as a driver. then we hit Singapore (where Lando sought Oscar out to spray champagne on him) the double podiums and Oscar's extension.

and then the Austin weekend and the filming they did and Lando posting that beautiful photo of Oscar smiling back at him all seems to have brought them to a place where yea, if we're being honest the lingering looks and the sense of sweetness to their shared humor is the dynamic we've had ever since.

and at this point I think what people are mistaking for a fakeout or misunderstanding is just that their lives outside of racing are so vastly different. Lando is in perpetual motion and constantly in demand and if you don't do a common activity with him like golf or padel then good luck catching him. whereas Oscar has been snared by a growth spurt that seems like it's still going on and he's either sleeping, sleeping, sleeping some more, spending time with Lily, sleeping, or spending time with his friends if possible. so there just isn't really an overlap with how their lives are right now.

to go out on another pretty out there limb, the one thing I might say is that Oscar still defaults to letting Lando call the shots about how much he wants to spend time together outside of being teammates. his own life is so uncomplicated that from his perspective it would feel a little daunting to try and insert himself in Lando's ever-changing schedule and multiple friend groups - esp since he already has so much time with Lando anyway due to the racing calendar. we know that it happens at times and that it's never broadcasted, only mentioned after the fact. it tends to be flying together or choosing to have lunch or after race meals together. the one time that rly gets to me is after Vegas when Lando could barely muster the energy to hit the tables with Max, Ria and Aarava. we find out later he spent at least part of that night with Oscar and someone mentioned that Oscar will have wanted to watch the cricket so like? it's kind of touching as well as saying a lot that the best time for their social lives to overlap is when it can be calm and quiet and Lando specifically does not want to be busy or loud. Lando dopey with painkillers and moody about crashing out of the race, possibly holed up in a hotel room with Oscar and the cricket playing on TV just sounds very sweet and likely. but other than those moments, their social lives just don't intersect easily. yet!!

but yea, I think ?? that by now they've kind of reached a comfortable place of knowing - at least for now - what their relationship is. it's why I honestly assumed Lando was finally doing the visit to Daniel's ranch and wouldn't be meeting up with Oscar in Australia. they're simply not to the point of coordinating off season schedules. even less of a surprise since he ended up spending less than 24 hours in Perth before he and Martin moved on!

ofc we as fans cannot get enough content of them together and just want more. but a lot of that is McLaren social media deciding to drop off just as McLaren started climbing up the grid ??? if they can get their shit together for 2024 then we'll see as much Lando and Oscar as we always did Lando with Carlos and Daniel.

so i watched the 8 hour jack stream(jesus) aka watched genloss top to bottom again and listened to his theories and stuff(i really vibe with the "kidnapped as kids" angle more now) and started thinking about some theories he and chat mentioned and.

now im thinking with like. ok its probably a pretty common theory, this post was what prompted this additional idea of mine actually, but ill explain it a bit: the theory that, since sneeg and charlie can come back over and over again, and they have referenced like, refusing to do the cooking challenge in ep 1, and how charlie was playing the mouse trap but ate the cage, they have obviously done the same kind of scenes we saw ranboo do, right. and then in the Announcement video we see the same kind of "missing poster" type headshots of them, with the caption "Found them!"

i dont remember exactly where it was confirmed that showfall made the missing person posters, but like. yeah. these images are for missing posters like ranboo had. and with sneeg being caught by the security in ep 3, he had tried to escape, just like ranboo and charlie. and i feel like this wasnt the first or last time they have tried this!

also, during that screenshot the announcer says "our hero will meet a cast of crazy characters, who you may recognize", aka the audience has seen these "actors" before in other things! this is their first live show but what have they made before...?

then, with one of the Very first lines Ranboo says in the first episode, "it wasn't supposed to be like this"... showfall/hetch made it seem like this is ranboos first show and he's being tested for how well he does as The Hero.

I dont think what we saw is Ranboos first time starring in a showfall production.

its the first live thing like the announcement video said but i think hetch lied when he talked about how its a test, i think Ranboo's been here at least a few go arounds, if not tens/hundreds/thousands of times. WHICH MEANS in the end when he gets his memories back... theres an infinite amount of possibility of things they could remember for what they have been made to do in the past :) Bc remember, while this is comedy->horror, it was still relatively tame and non-explicit (at least by my personal standards?) so it is quite possible they have been in more R rated horror stuff, slashers, gore, actual saw, some kind of even worse psychological horror things, but also that they might have had incredibly good experiences like love and joy and community and anything positive too, and to remember all that in a rush... oh boy so i believe it is a circular reproduction, maybe they run through scenes repeatedly over and over while perfecting every little detail and getting different takes of genuine emotion but every time Real and a First experience... some kind of purgatory(omg christian hell reference) or endless torture or such...

i love me a fucking colour theory and colour symbolism! it bothered me a bit how like. in the promo game we get ranboo, then green friend/the villain(obviously charlie, tho the villain part still confuses me a Bit since its not quite true?), the blue friend/the taken(obvs sneeg) and then the red stranger/the saviour. and like it would logically follow that the red is hetch right?

jack when theorising said the titles are self descriptive, which i buy into, at least for the first episode context, charlie is the villain role, sneeg was taken(put in a cage and later snatched by the sharkciclester), and hetch was trying to help and save ranboo from this situation! but then in the second ep we also have red puzzler, and red niki? i WISH niki had. any kind of bigger role to build a Saviour type off of her but i dont think she does :( the puzzler is an option, since they make it seem like the puzzler tries to save ranboo? and thats actually a whole other thought like. since we know hetch was not actually helping ranboo, was the puzzler Genuinely helping them, and somehow showfall found out and killed him?? idk ANYWAYS that colour coding falling apart a bit made me think about how ranboo is also red!! rgb trio yknow??

I believe this kind of thing has happened many times before, with sneeg/charlie/ranboo/others realizing that shits fucked, and trying to escape, only to be caught and put back in the production. I think Ranboo(main character syndrome) was in a previous iteration the Saviour, who tried to help sneeg and charlie and others get out of there, to save them, save everyone. but they failed. got captured. once again waking up again with a "it wasn't supposed to be like this..."

and so the cycle continues, and the content wheel keeps spinning.

A ship I have with said character: Yes. Given that there's no one in canon I think Homelander CAN fit with in a healthy way, I don't have any OTPs for him. (OTP is me and Homelander obv) If you give me a Homelander ship and it's good content, I will CONSUME said content.

A BROTP I have with said character: Homelander and Noir were besties, even if Noir was his handler for a while there. HE FUCKED THAT UP. Homelander has an awkward friendship with The Deep. The Deep is growing on Homelander like mold.

A NOTP I have with said character: Homelander x Stillwell, just because the Diobolical implications that she's been sexually harassing and manipulating Homelander since he was at least 18. General Opinion over said character: I went in to The Boys thinking I would HATE this motherfucker because he has done HORRIBLE things. I READ THE WIKI ON HIM BEFORE STARTING THE SHOW. Buut each scene just made me like Homelander more and more. He's so fucking pathetic and insecure and stupid and hot and HIS FANGS. DEAR LORD. He's so terrible, I love him. Antony Star plays him SO WELL. But really, he's a delightfully well written villain who has a HORRIBLY fucked up back story and COULD be the perfect hero if he wasn't being handled by THE SYMBOLISM OF CAPITALISM MADE MANIFEST. Hello! I wanted to ask something that can start the fight, so ignore me if you want! Do you consider Louis good parent? Because I noticed (and maybe it's just me not following people who discuss it) that fandom generally paints Louis and Claudia relationship pretty simple. But there's many little things that show how not that good Louis and Claudia relationship, which culminates in him choking her (for some reason almost no one remembers that) Starting from first scene with him taking her to be his redemption, then begging Lestat to turn her and basically damn Claudia for a hell. (Before anyone says that Lestat is to blame too, I know! Of course he is, but people constantly talk about it but not about Louis) There was interview with Jacob when he said that Louis liked to dress up Claudia like a doll. Comparison with doll stucked with me, because while I genuinely believe Louis loved Claudia, you can't say he loved her instantly, since rescuing her from the fire. Basically I wanted to say, dynamic between Louis and Claudia is unhealthy. I didn't see anyone mention that falling into depression because your child left the house is not normal. Personally, I think he was too dependent on her which is unfair to Claudia. There's also whole ep6 where Claudia is RIGHTFULLY against Lestat but Louis acts like she's unreasonable "what are you doing?" "I'm enduring" "Do more!" or "You look ugly like this" I understand that Louis is victim but come on! And as I said him choking her... Claudia looking betrayed and terrified... Basically choosing Lestat over her and over her safety... There's also angle with him being a pimp and Claudia being "girl with no home". Maybe if she was a little older, she would be one of Louis' workers.

I think Louis was a good parent, yes, in a sense by definition, because he so desperately wanted to be a good parent. And I do think he succeeded to be a (very) good parent for Claudia in the first years, even though his reasons for "having her" were selfish ones, ultimately. But then, parents always have to be selfish in that regard, I mean, what is the wish to be a parent? You want something... and then decide you want to have it. (At least if/when you can choose, obvs.)

Unfortunately Claudia did not stay the child he wanted (her to be) though, mentally. And that friction was something Louis couldn't quite follow, imho, and to large parts did not wish to follow.

He did not wish to acknowledge she was not on a hunger strike, he did not wish to realize she was torturing her victims. He did not wish to think these "ugly" things of her.

And I can understand that, btw. No parent wants to learn things like that about their child, wants to learn just how much they've failed them (and it always pains me when he talks about that in Dubai). How different they are to what they believed, and hoped for.

I think Louis was not the best parent for her later. He stood by often, he let Lestat do the hard parenting, and then tried to negotiate between them, or argued with Lestat afterwards behind closed doors (which Claudia noticed, too (and which would have driven me mad, btw)).

And no matter how easily he acquiesced to calling her "sister"... she was still his child for him, and yet he betrayed her (and will betray her again in s2), by choosing someone else over her.

And that is what that choking scene is all about, btw, and you can see it in Claudia's face, too. Louis betrays her in that moment. And their relationship after will never be the same again.

I agree it is not entirely healthy even before, because Louis does defer to both Claudia and Lestat (who are quite alike, too), however, I think it will not ... be as ... lets call it problematic as in the book, I think they won't go there.

Now... I disagree with the depression, Louis did not fall into depression because Claudia left, though that was certainly part of it.

Louis (and Lestat, who talks about setting himself on fire!) fell into depression because they lay low for seven years. And because a big part of the illusion of immortality (and the safety of it), and the state of them had been shattered. He puts it quite perfectly there: Claudia had exposed them. To the world (almost at least), but, worse, to each other. And that exposure was a very hard pill to swallow.

So no, I do not think Louis' and Claudia's relationship was simple. And it won't be simple in s2 either, and as mentioned before, I believe there will be ... interesting diary entries incoming, too.

And, last but not least - there is also the tale to consider.

Louis chose to omit things, editorialize, Daniel has been calling him out on that since the beginning. (And Armand apparently editorialized the diaries, too.) We only have seen a part of "Claudia", and as such of the relationship he had to and with her, namely the part he wanted us to see. (Well, apart from the two scenes that Daniel literally broke out of Louis at the end.)

Now in season 2... we will have Armand's POV, and I'm quite sure we will get to see some of the cut out pages come back, too.

It will change it all a bit still (and as has been mentioned "all will be revisited", so it will be interesting which aspects will change and which will only be enhanced)... though I do think that most of the things pertaining to Claudia will be "only" an enhancement - except the parts leading up and to murder night... because there... something different was going on (book canonically) and I really don't think they'll skip that twist.

Because it's a very heavy one, and literally a... errrrrrr.... dream for a show like this, script- and story-wise.

Tldr: :) I do think he tried to be a good parent, and there were times he succeeded... and times he did not. Which is something that all parents share I think. Unfortunately his failures had dire consequences though - but... in a way, that is something you cannot really blame him for though - because how should he have known?

And both he and Lestat learn from their mistakes with Claudia... and they will apply that later with another child, a child Claudia's backstory has been aligned to fit to on the show, which is something I find extremely interesting btw. But that just as a note.

the turning point of act 2, (what is likely to majorly influence the finale) happens here—and the next episode—but it starts here. arcane episode 14 / arcane season 2 episode 5. let’s hear it.

after being noticeably absent from last episode, we finally shift the focus back to Vi. last we saw she was at the bottom of a ventilation shaft in Zaun, punched in the gut with the back of Caitlyn’s gun. earlier in that episode (episode 3 of the season) Vi pleads and asks Cait to promise not to change—not *for* her but because everyone else in Vi’s life has changed. it’s interesting, because it was phrased *almost* like it was for her. of course, at the breaking of that promise and Vi’s refusal to have a child suffer if she has any say so… everyone in her life has changed and we find her at her rock bottom.

Vi has (presumably) been pit fighting probably since near the beginning of the recent timeskip of months. like nearly all of this season’s episodes, we open to a music video montage that shows Vi’s time during these months. she’s sporting a new near-all black look with dark face paint to match—a goth-adjacent aesthetic. that one dude that was a part of Caitlyn’s original strike tweak before martial law (don’t know if we ever got his name, haven’t looked at the credits yet because while he is somewhat alright, he hasn’t been present enough or cool enough yet to have me check) i suppose sought out Vi, knowing how strong she is. it’s difficult to tell in the montage how much he knows (more) about Vi during this time but one can gleam that he knows she’s suffering (obv), has a heavy and unhealthy relationship with alcohol (dude doesn’t get any lines in this episode and we see he eventually leaves her to sulk in her own inebriated state), and likely triggered in some way by Caitlyn. kinda wish we knew more about him or he got more screen time (seemingly being reserved for the final act of the show) but that would also take away from our core characters somewhat and with only 9 episodes per season at less-than-an-hour episode runtimes, i won’t complain. overall i trust the writers.

Vi’s fall from nigh-stability has her transition from being a real champion in the pit to being too drunk and angry to keep up and falters in the ring. she comes to when !! surprisingly !! Jinx shows up and compliments her sister’s look (genuine, too). Vi nearly crushed her windpipe and certainly considers snapping Jinx’s neck at the sight of her but Jinx’s insistence that Vander is alive and needs *their* help (plus seeing Jinx cry or at least leak tears from having her neck strained so much + lack of oxygen) is enough to have Vi let her go.

we’re shown that Vi is aware of Jinx’s status in the undercity as symbol and the look on Vi’s face when she sees Vander illustrated next to Jinx’s graffiti… Vi’s gotta be going thru some rather complex emotions. that *this* is the person the underground has decided to rally with and decided is their gateway or vision to peace and/or sovereignty. if it was any other person Jinx said, Vi might’ve (a) killed Jinx outright or (b) chosen to do so after seeing that mural. but because the person in the mural is the same person Jinx mentioned + the lack of mischief that Jinx is creating (and Vi having no purpose or furies destination) Vi continues to tag along.

Jinx leads Vi with an accompanying Isha through sealed up mines. upon seeing the claw marks on the wall (and the fact that this is a place no one really goes to anymore so Jinx could easily take out Vi here) Vi becomes distrustful once more and of course walks with hesitation. i think the conversation that first takes place here is the first time in the show for Vi to verbalize to Jinx that Vi knows how “crazy” Jinx is by referring to her psychotic state when using the word ‘delusions’ to describe this quest or trek they have found themselves in. they end up calling each other “psycho” in reference to where both of them have ended up in status and allegiance—but it’s so unfair BUT understandable here. of course it would be considered unthinkable for Vi of the part to become an enforcer (no matter how brief her tenure was) but Jinx doesn’t know what led to that decision and how she has a huge hand to play in that. just as much as Vi doesn’t know the years Jinx was left without her and descended into severe mental anguish and disorder.

skipping ahead, they come across a letter from Vander to Silco in what’s probably Vander’s old home/hideout/shack. the contents of which Jinx comes to mention could’ve helped avoid all the trouble in the given circumstances leading to episode 1 of the series. feeling the softness and slight vulnerability from Jinx, Vi almost comforts her with a hand on her shoulder. but no, she can’t do that. after all this time pushing away the idea of them ever reconciling, what does that say to her constitution to and how frail it may be? what about their last confrontation and Vi saying to Jinx that she “killed” Powder? if she let herself see Jinx as part of her family now it may be too much to take. for now.

in the letter we get no real clues to who the woman that Vander is speaking of, that inspired the series of events that lead to episode 1… that is until Vander finds them. or Warwick, i suppose i should say. earlier, in a brief sisterly skirmish, Isha got involved biting Vi and that led to her smacking Isha off of her leading to a bloody nose—just like Powder in episode 3 when Vi lashed out in grief and anger. but that was enough. it was established last episode that Warwick is drawn to and summoned by blood (the or scent of which). so he’s been tracking them while they’ve been tracking *him*. very cool idea put into play here. but back to things.

Warwick lunges and nearly flays Isha if not for Vi stepping in and having a rather impressive fight. one that she not only walks away from but with seemingly no scratches—even Ambessa didn’t walk away from her fight with him unscathed. in the midst of this, Jinx pleads for Vi to hear her. to really hear her when she says that this is Vander. in one of the strongest emotive moments in this show (and there’s quite a number of them), Vi lowers her arms, her gauntlets, her guard (!!) and embraces whatever is to happen next. i think Vi would’ve been content or fine with anything taking place here, imo. she’s been at her rock bottom. she’s alone with no one. fights and drinks all day to forget and just get thru the hours. she lost her sister. Caitlyn. Vander. Ekko isn’t following her like before. she’s totally alone. i think Vi was partly hoping Jinx was wrong and that this beast would tear her apart. she was okay with death at this moment. but she probably didn’t expect herself to be okay (maybe not ready) for Jinx’s honesty to prove itself, to show that she wasn’t lying. that Vander *is* back. she says his name, for what she probably thought would be the last thing she’d ever say. but it isn’t.

in that moment, we, the audience, are shown something that no one character can see or is privy to. the episode, at the moment of impact between Warwick’s charging and Vi’s acceptance, transitions to a time before the show. before the circumstances that led to the bridge revolt from episode 1.

we are properly introduced to Vi and Powder’s mother, Felicia—the woman we now know was the once we saw deceased and Vi break down from. and from the letter. there are some overtones and maybe a little bit of (sexual) tension between Vander and Felicia. i get the feeling that they mayyyy have had a thing in the past but that’s not really important—just character complexities that color the scene further (he even gives Vi her name—something unsolicited but seemingly received well from Felicia. further implying there level of closeness). at The Last Drop, Felicia, Vander, and Silco talk about the dream of Zaun and the realization (and actualization) of which. it’s a really happy and naive time… Felicia reveals her pregnancy, is (by her own admission) oblivious to how to be a mother and children in general, and that she is as a result relying on Vander and Silco to make things happen. to cultivate a community so they can have future generations thrive… starting with her children.

and while that didn’t take place, because the family present circumstances a wondrous and unfathomable takes place. in the dark and dust Jinx sees Vander/Warwick and Vi in tender embrace. crying but standing still, she doesn’t even consider interrupting or joining in until her sister, for the first time since episode 3 of season 1, extends a hand to Jinx. seeing her as family, because she is—even if only by proxy (in Vi’s eyes). Isha joins in and we have a lovely and hearttouching tableau of this family been torn a part now back together. they’re all mighty different from who or what they were before but together again.

the episode, nearing its close, cuts to another scene of characters we haven’t seen for a hot minute. Salo, healed by Viktor, is visiting the HexGate underground failsafe and in the acquiring of Hex(batteries(?)) disturbs the Arcane and it relinquishes Jayce from whatever plane of existence he has been occupying during the timeskip. Jayce is battered, older; his physiology is somewhat altered and directly affected by the Arcane. he is even scarred—we’re not told or shown what he’s gone through but we know *something* monumental in influence has significantly affected him. Jayce talks with Salo and surprisingly, Viktor. Viktor is able to occupy anyone’s mind/body after healing them with the Arcane a la Horde Prime and his clones in the She-Ra Netflix animated series. thru this, we and Jayce learn that indeed Viktor has been making efforts to finally fulfill his promise to heal the undercity and in his eyes, it’s going well. he even invites Jayce to see the fruits of his labor. but Jayce. can only see the Arcane, HexTech as a curse. something to be destroyed. in response, Viktor says something truly interesting. “i see it now. you too have touched the Arcane. your mind suffered.” there so much to this line. but i want to focus on the fact that this implies that Viktor’s current existence is him “touching” the Arcane and *he* seemingly didn’t suffer (that we know of)… but Jayce did, for whatever the reason or circumstance. (maybe his hammer attacking the Arcane in whatever direct way he attempted to in episode 3 of the current season led this this suffering; it was a provocation) Salo, now in control, goes to return to Viktor with his Hex batteries in tow. but were shown just how serious Jayce is in his conviction and brutally murders Salo in one brief move. the start of the end of HexTech.

now… the story i didn’t touch on yet from this episode. Mel, Elora, their disappearance/kidnapping and what’s going on there. we get confirmation that Elora is gone, killed by members of Black Rose 💔. a favorite minor character of mine :(((. Mel even called her a friend, not an assistant showing that she really cared for her. but Mel isn’t alone, even now. in what she’s told is an oculorum, a place to hold or imprison false prophets, is a man. upon a few exchanges and stepping into the light of the room we are introduced to and Mel recognizes him as Kino, her thought-to-be-deceased brother. they talk and Kino reveals that “they” came for him and the reasons for coming for him and Mel as well. we learn that this isn’t Kino as the episode goes on, but this next part we get confirmation is a truth (because “Kino” could’ve been lying all this time for their own ends or means). apparently, Ambessa fell in love while going through a town on conquest and had a child out of wedlock. “Kino” says that whatever this child “inherited” is of terrible interest to their captors. as they talk Mel is drawn to this pattern on the walls and adds to it. perhaps a language or phrase of language left incomplete. “Kino” guides her until she realizes he isn’t who he appears to be. in a moment courage and bravery, Mel bashes this individual’s head into the wall, revealing the power of Black Rose to be all around her now. the person too, shifts between several identities (including Jayce, Ambessa, and most notably, Mel and the young girl from Mel’s flashback that was decapitated by Ambessa) before landing on the likeness of Mel. this person thru voiceover and summoned chains to bound Mel, confirms that Mel is this sought-after child and in her darkest moment… Mel’s power finally reveals itself. in a display of pure golden energy she blasts of the chains off of her in a spherical beam of light, hopefully freed. but now we know what the gold in her body and jewelry have been hinting at. she didn’t survive the attack on the councilors out of pure chance. visually, we’re shown her gold body jewelry glow a light before the missile lands. this could’ve just been a way to show her noticing the attack right before it hits (and it was), but we now know it was so much more than that. she likely saved Jayce with this power too without knowing it. damn.

i loved this episode. the only qualms i’ve really ever had with this show is slight pacing. there’s only 18 total episodes and idk… Mel is one of my favorite characters and so far she’s been utilized wayyy less than season 1 and has had even less appearances. this is the only time she shows up in act 2 and i understand why but it’s saddening. but !! we got so much good out of it. looking forward to next episode.

Good evening friends, I hope you are all well and having a lovely Thursday! Just one more day till the weekend! Yay <3

Inspired by the lovely @the-winds-of-destiny-xxx , I've decided to start blogging about my day. Hopefully, I will be able to stay up to date lol.

Work

Ugh, I've been up since 5am prepping myself to deliver my second lecture of the semester. It went well, kinda. The students were super interactive which is great. Application + practicality > regurgitating information. They did super well. Also, we have a new HoD, and while I really liked our previous heads, the new HoD is a breath of fresh air and I really enjoy their approach towards education.

My full-time job is actually soooo … atm. My colleague has resigned which is all cool and I wish her the best.

But, there’s a trend I’ve noticed recently within our organization … and I hope it does not present any problems in the future. Tbh, I think it has presented a problem before … but idk. Anyway, constructive criticism goes a long long way … only if you’re keen and willing to learn …. which this person defo is NOT.

Enough about my colleagues, the CEO presented me with an opportunity but I'm lowkey nervous .. bc I prefer being a private + somewhat anonymous person lol, but I obviously said yes. Let's see how it goes, anything can happen and this whole project might fall through. Especially in this economy.

All in all, I really love my job and the career path I’ve taken. I hope it does not backfire on me later on in life.

Gosh. Uni is the bane of my existence atm. Tho, i did make a bit of progress on my thesis today. I know exactly what I need to do, but I just don't have the motivation to it. But, I think I've finally got myself together .. so let's see what happens.
