it’s unfair that he is a fire attribute because he always ends up lighting a little bit of his clothes or hair on fire when he gets flustered by you. something about seeing you smile, excitedly laughing to him about your day, has him pushing his sunglasses up a little more and staring off to the side. the rest of the sons of calydon can CLEARLY see right through him though. they knew the ominous undefeated champion had a soft spot but seeing him loosen his red scarf and clear his throat was when they knew he was head over heels for you.

omg i cant believe after injecting himself with that serum thingy he turned into an etherial and went on a rampage and we only managed to stop him after great difficulty and leveling half the hallow including half of our AND his organs he BARELY survives after like 27 surgeries and even now is like a shambling broken excuse of a human being who's every move is excruciating but whos chronic terminal disease has miraculously disappeared with the caveat of even more extreme side effects of all the OTHER problems left after those 27 or so surgeries barely put him back together but at the very least his hallow navigation abilities have gone up 200% bc turns etherials have a different set of senses compared to basically other living thing (based on the fact that none of them are, technically, alive) and that turning into one actually, you know, has a lasting impact on your own senses perceive the world and therefore the hollows so the upper ups are like "go in and navigate for us" and hes like "okay" bc hero complex despite the few people who care for him in the world vehemently interjecting because this way he can help right? this way he's changing things, saving the world, becoming a hero? right? .right.?

i was inspired by my classmates. they are very close as homies but it sorta sparked a thought in me.

lucy had sent out lighter for another errand and while waiting for him, you end up spending time with burnice at the bar. without realizing, a tall figure had appeared behind you but you were too busy enjoying the songs that burnice had put on to notice.

his hands find your waist, poking you gently and perhaps tried to tickle you before placing his head on top of yours. his hands then move around to give a proper back hug. he doesn’t feel as embarrassed because you’re not looking directly at him but you can tell from the way he’s hugging you, he really missed you.

burnice had already placed lighter’s usual drink on the counter but he just doesn’t budge. just soft mumblings as you’re asking him how his day went.

i just think he loves sneaking from behind with back hugs. to him, it’s a little less embarrassing for him (JUST EMBRACE IT AT THIS POINT LIGHTERRR), and he eliminates any sort of surprise FOR HIM. i think he enjoys being fully aware and he likes your reactions each time. the way you say his name every time just has him MELTING.

also the height difference has him weak. he can look over you or you’d tilt your head up to look at him and he’s just stuttering from looking at you from this angle. little tangent but getting ready in the morning with him and he places his head on yours while both of you are brushing your teeth SORRY I GOT A LITTLE DOMESTIC THERE

while i completely understand the violent thirst over lighter i just hope we all don’t let it overshadow his character. this happened to wriothesley with his ass, and now we’ve got lighter and his ass. like yes i understand it’s big, and i too wanna kiss him all over. but also we should also recognize that he’s not a sex symbol and should not be reduced to a sex symbol. i have a hard time even with the official arts from his time in the ring, seeing people sexualize them so much. those seem to me like depictions of his worst, depictions of him when he was considered nothing but muscle and all he did was fight; he was just a body being used for entertainment and profit. he literally described himself as a zombie. idk like does this make sense that i find it uncomfortable to sexualize him sm or am i crazy? i know it’s probably not that serious and it’s ok to be absolutely down bad for him, i just sometimes get uncomfortable with the lengths people go to, especially considering his past. don’t get me wrong i like injured bloody men as much as the next girl but i can’t find it in me to see the art of his past as hot or sexy because that was the worst time of his life and im not sure he even saw himself as human then
