Friendly reminder that Mel and Jayce would have died holding each other if she wasn’t a mage.

I saw someone say “Jayce made the decision to die with Viktor” as an argument against Mel/Jayce. First of all, if Mel wasn’t a mage Jayce would have died with her in the explosion. Jayce shielded her with his body.

Does that devalue Viktor’s importance to him? No!

(And I know for a fact if they showed Jayce shielding Viktor with his body with Mel to the side people would be screaming “see it’s proof he doesn’t love her!”)

Second- was Jayce supposed to let Viktor die alone to “prove” he loved Mel??

I see this type of argument all the time.

“Jayce left Mel in bed to go to Viktor” - Yeah cause Vik was dying? Was he supposed to just go back to sleep?

“Jayce left Mel after the explosion to save Viktor” - One of them is perfectly unharmed and the other has two feet in the grave!

“Jayce spent all his time in the lab waiting for Viktor to wake up” - Mel clearly isn’t jealous, and of course he’s at Viktor’s side, he’s in a coma!

Those times “Jayce chose Viktor over Mel” were because Viktor needed him in those moments. Since when can you only love one person at a time?

Vi loves Jinx immensely and would do anything to save her. That doesn’t “take away” from her love for Caitlyn. The same applies for Jayce!

Chapter 20 made me ugly sob y'all, I m not kidding (My eyes were puffy for the whole day LMAO) I can't express in words how this fic touched my soul so I decided to make fanart. This illustration is based on this part of the fic 👇 (under the cut) It's not biblically accurate but I like it. (Spoilers ahead!)

No guys but am I crazy or did the epilogue confirmed Katsuki was like... CANONICALLY in love with Izuku and he got heartbroken.

Like I feel like I am going crazy, the panels where they say goodbye to each other and how Katsuki stands there watching Izuku walk away until he gets lost in the crowd and thinks to himself "nobody's special... no one's actually special".

The way it is framed, the city lights, what Katsuki thinks (probably REFERRING TO HIMSELF), the way he says bye to Izuku. His reaction to Izuku saying he can't join.

He was clearly longing for him... there is no way it's not at least implied he loves Izuku.

I know it's largely a waste of time because the people I've seen peddling this idea don't really care and are just doing it to add pointless discourse, but I am bored at work so at least I'm getting paid!

The idea that, although Kabru cares about Laios, Laios doesn't care about Kabru is wrong, even before he becomes his royal advisor and the new interactions they got post-canon, and insisting otherwise shows a lack of understanding of the dynamic.

I think it's clear to everyone that the confession scene mattered to Kabru, so the camp pushing this lately isn't even arguing that, but I don't think they're thinking from Laios' side.

The entire scene is meant to be a parallel to Laios and Shuro's fight way earlier in the manga. Laios hasn't known Kabru for nearly as long, but he was still someone who was ultimately lying to him (a façade in Kabru's case, wrapped up in his own trauma) and someone that Laios built up an ideal version of in his head... so why is his reaction to Kabru coming clean so starkly different? Simply put, it's his character development.

Instead of angry and betrayed, he doesn't even initially believe anyone would go through the trouble of braving the Dungeon to be his friend. Such a ridiculous idea!

But Kabru IS sincere. He is sincere in his desire to get to truly know Laios. He has his own wrong ideas about what makes Laios tick, but differently from many, many people in his life (especially with his childhood and his complex feelings towards his village and his parents who ostracized him and Falin) Kabru is willing to make an effort to understand him. That's huge.

Agnes is the queen of the desolation-based kingdom-

she is an exception to the 'witches are only noble in name' rule but mostly her advisors make decisions.

She and Gertrude don't have the same *thing* as in GiSA but they have met 👁👁

So I had a thought...what if Robotnik made Stone's motorbike. Believing that out of all the bikes that exist, they aren't suited for missions he wants to send Stone on (and that Stone deserves only the best. Aka Robotnik tech certified). So he goes out of his way to make Stone a bike.

So, Stone makes Robotnik's outfits, Robotnik makes Stone's tech.

time travel au where a post-pidw yue qingyuan somehow travels back in time after death (either through death, through the magic that still remained in his sword, someone intervening, etc.) to right before he was reunited with shen qingqiu at the iac.

but for some reason along with being given the chance to live his life once more, yue qingyuan now has the ability to tell when somebody is lying to him no matter what.

at first, yue qingyuan doesn’t see much value in this gift because there aren’t many people who would dare lie straight to his face, but that all changes the moment he’s reunited with shen jiu again and he realizes that nothing that shen jiu says is ever the complete truth.
