Anyway, I made one for Creativitwins because they haunt me (/lh). I already run the Intruality one, but I mean...I'm not called the CEO of Creativitwins Fluff for nothing!

ANYWAY: some headcanons with Dukexiety (and also Roman, I guess).

Remus doesn't care who knows about their relationship, but Virgil's still a little hesitant about telling people, so he respects that

Remus will flirt with Virgil openly. Virgil is okay with this. The Others are like "in front of my salad?" (except maybe Janus, he's too used to Remus to care)

Roman especially notices how Remus seems to only flirt with Virgil, which has his Romance senses tingling

Sometimes Virgil flirts back. This flusters the Duke with glee every time it happens.

Snuggle buddies! Especially is Virgil is recovering from/dealing with a bad spiral or Remus' thoughts are getting too loud or if either of them is upset about something

Remus is a hoodie-stealing gremlin. Virgil knows this, and has a spare hoodie just for Dukey to steal.

Mr. Fuzzy will purr because it's a sentient creature-plushie-thing. Virgil found this out one time when Remus was over in his room and they were cuddling. Mr. Fuzzy was nearby on the bed and purred at seeing them relaxing for once. It jumpscared Virgil.

When Roman figures out "oh shit, my brother and my bestie are dating, proably", he decides to ask Remus about It (he doesn't wanna freak Virgil out). Remus is like "ha, what?" just as Virgil comes into the room and hears what's going on. Virge is kinda suspicious of how Roman figured it out before he's like "I'm literally Romance, what-" and then yeah. Virgil and Remus tell him they're dating and Roman's supportive. His first response is along the lines of "okay, but like, why my brother?" (lmao)

Roman now knows about Dukexiety. The Others still don't. He uses this to his teasing advantage without giving things away. Virgil wants to throttle him (/aff).

Eventually, Virgil's okay with everyone knowing and so they tell the Others. Janus is mostly unfazed. Patton is a little confused but also gushy. Logan's like "...was that not common knowledge??". Apparently, he also figured it out. He and Roman bond over the fact that they figured it out before everyone else. More teasing ensues.

(c!Thomas) Thomas has no clue. No fucking idea. The twins will use this to their advantage of vaguely joking about it. Virgil now wants to throttle both of them (/aff).

Roman sees how happy his brother is with Virgil, and sometimes will get a little sentimental over seeing Remus happy. Remus doesn't get to be happy a lot of the time, so it's nice to finally see him just get to be happy.

Thomas once summons Dukexiety in the middle of kissing each other and that's how he finds out. He just stares for a solid five minutes like "wait, what?" (Remus finds this funny. Virgil makes sure they didn't break Thomas.)

And since then I’ve just kind of been doing my own thing and mainly using this blog as a personal moodboard and an outlet to post ideas I don’t want to share anywhere else. I do post about a lot of things I like, but I’m not tied heavily to fandoms anymore - I mostly just lurk. That being said though, don’t be afraid to talk if you share a particular interest with me. Music history from the 60s-2000s. In terms of what specific period I’ve jumped to at the moment, I’m fixated on mid-late 2000s indie music, twee pop of any era (mid 80s-present tbh), + some of my old favourite scene bands lmao. I’ve been nostalgic for them lately.

Skins UK (yes I know how 2014 and sad of me). I’m a Cassie apologist so leave me alone if you think she sucks lmao. That’s my Blorbina and my adopted little sister who’s currently got a song + a Substack essay series being written about her. In all seriousness though, I find this show to be very misunderstood in general.

Sighthounds! I love all dogs in general but the pointy ones are my favourites. I have a Greyhound, he’s my best friend :,) When I move into my own home one day I want to have another Greyhound + a Borzoi!

This is a very casual one of mine but (in case you can’t tell from what I mostly reblog here) I love fashion! My fashion tastes span the same general group of decades that my music history knowledge does. Much like my current music fixations I’ve been inspired by the late 2000s, but what I actually wear on a day to day basis is never one particular style. I mix and match a lot.

BEST EXPERIENCE: I really don't know tbh. Apart from meeting some long-term friends through rp I guess the only thing I can remember was being part of the DR fandom when the third season(s) were airing. I know that fandom has a negative reputation but it was genuinely great during this time. Seeing everyone's reactions to the weekly eps, theorycrafting, and being right about the twist by reading the lips of an animation ? It was so fun. I'd actually love to relive that kind of thing.

RP PET PEEVES / DEALBREAKERS: Lack of communication, especially because it's extremely difficult for me to reach out as is. Blogs where majority of it is smut and its not an nsfw sideblog. Blogs that rb their own promo several times a week. I've legit seen some where it was daily. I'm sure there's more but that's a solid three.

MUSE PREFERENCES: I don't think I have any ? So long as we can plot something fun out, I'm game for anything. Or does this mean muses that I prefer to write ? For me, I somehow always end up writing muses that have some kind of parental ( or lack thereof ) issues. It is 1000% NOT intentional. I just like complex little guys that are kinda broken and maybe can't be fixed. It makes their relationship with those they choose to be around all the better and more meaningful.

PLOTS OR MEMES: Both ! Though I do prefer plotting for brand new interactions just so I don't have to dance around how my muse should treat my partner's. Especially if they haven't interacted in canon.

you ever run into a situation where like .... someone you've been mutuals with for years, LIKE YEARS, who you've always had a good relationship with (or at least you thought you did, idk), just like ....

unfollows you on One of their blogs. Just one. And that's suddenly the only blog they use. And sure, it COULD be a mistake, because every once in awhile when someone reblogs your promo .... they'll reblog it as well?

But similarly .... they should be able to see on the dash that they're not following you. And they're pretty explicit about only interacting with mutuals. And it's defs not a sideblog. And you can't be like 'hey, is this a mistake?' or even be like 'hey, what happened?' because people can cater their experience here, they have the right to do that. and they have the right to unfollow you, and you're all adults here, and this is just for fun, so cornering them for any reason would be wrong, and also rude.

So you just have to settle with the idea that they just .... decided they were tired of you, or didn't like your writing or something and just quietly ..... left. And it feels like a whole friendship you had just kind of dies on the vine, because if you're not on their dash, and you can't interact without disrespecting their boundaries, then that friendship is just .... gone. No closure, no goodbye, it just stops.

idk, it's just sad, in a way, I guess. I mean, people just decide they don't like you and disappear sometimes, and that's fair on their part. That's the way the world works. Sometimes relationships, as vague as they may be, just stop. And I feel like, as an adult, I should be able to brush that off, but it still feels kind of upsetting. Especially because I know it has to be something I did, and I'll never be able to adjust that, or find out what it was. So I just kind of assume it to be me, in general. The whole package is bad, I guess.

I am also stuck in a rut because I know my writing is repetitive, and boring. And Liv isn't fleshed out, and she's not creative, and frankly -- I'm not a great communicator OOC either. I'm distracted, and I'm flighty, and I complain a lot, and I'm regularly just the worst. And I make people feel unwanted (I don't mean to do that, I promise. I love each and every one of you, and I mean that so strongly, I wouldn't follow you if I didn't enjoy your writing. I just love the shit out of everyone, and their creativity).

I should try to be better, probably. And I shouldn't blame my standoffishness on anxiety and ADHD -- I mean, I do have those, but I also need to take responsibility for having a shitty personality, you feel?

I don't know where I was going with this, I'm just in my feelings, and I'm sorry about ... me, as a person, in general. Random JATP Headcannon: The Wilson’s and Street Food

Do you ever think about how after the boy’s death Bobby was probably extremely weary of all take-out, street food, and basically all food that he can’t see how it is prepared? Because I do! SO I decided to write a headcannon about it.

I mean my man watched his three brothers die a horribly painful death because they wanted to have a quick bite to eat. Don’t think about how he was probably the person who found them dying from food poisoning, in excruciating pain probably scared out of their goddamn minds. Don’t think about him clutching their bodies sobbing. Don’t think about how Bobby 100% most definitely didn’t eat anything for the next few days after the guys’ death. Don’t think about how he was probably too scared to trust any foods that he doesn’t make himself. But honestly, he is terrible at cooking that was Reggie’s and Alex’s jobs. I mean he can make a couple of Filipino recipes that his Lola taught him how to make like halo-halo, adobo, liempo sinigang rice.

Then eventually, he started to eat again, well not exactly, I mean Dr. Crystal seemed hopeful. But like he would go to restaurants with like multiple EFFING Michelin Stars and like refuse the food because he’s so scared that he might choke, or get food poisoning and die like the others. Like he low-key throws a tantrum because he is freaking and upsets the chef, but can you blame him?

Without any contexts the public and gossip magazines were like:

 “woah I know he’s a rock star but what a spoiled brat”

“TREVOR WILSON: A FOOD SNOB?!?!”

 “I Can’t Believe (It’s Not Butter sorry back to the headcannon lol) That This Rising Star Threw His Soup at the Chef a Michelin Star Restaurant”

(It was completely by accident btw!!! The matching friendship ring with the guys fell in the soup and he didn’t want to lose another part of his friends. So he started to rush to the bathroom with the soup to find the ring and fix it. .....and the chef just happened to be right behind.....and the gazpacho just happened to spill all over him. But he did get the ring so..... that’s good!!! But he also cried a bunch washing the tomato off of it tho)

Rose started to swing by his house every couple of days with bags full of ingredients and she checks in with him as she is making classic Puerto Rican comfort foods. She quickly realized that his vegetarianism wasn’t a lie and adjusted the recipes that she grew up with to suit his needs. Rose also realizes that if Bobby doesn’t know how a certain food is made and if he can’t see all the ingredients that went into it then he would refuse to eat it. So she fell into a pattern where she would cook at his mansion as he looks over her shoulder seeing how she make the dishes, sadly laughing at the terrible dad jokes she makes. (The jokes remind him of the one Reggie use to make)

Rose “The Queen of Meal Prepping Before Meal Prepping was Popular” makes enough food the next couple of days. Together they would sit down together to enjoy a meal. Rose just tells him it was to  make sure that she made the recipe correctly. But really it was to ease his anxiety about eating and to prove that the food isn’t poison. However, deep down it was to also show him that it is okay to make new friends and the boys probably would have wanted him to at least try to move on a little. Quickly Rose discovered that his favorite dishes are arroz con gandules (basically white rice with peas and olives), mofongo (think like mashed potatoes but with plantains), and some many pasteles and empanadas. And even after Julie and Carrie were born they have family dinners once per week that Rose cooked.

Well I mean until her chemo started of course because that when the roles started to reverse..... (but I’ve given y’all enough angst today, so that’s a story for another time)

I mean at some point he probably had to learn how to cook for himself and Carrie or at the very least he goes to a restaurant that personally shows him how the food is prepared/ he can see most of the steps on how it is prepared. Like one time The number of professional chefs my manz personally knows is ridiculous!!! I mean once he became FILTHY LIKE DIRTY LIKE I WOULD EAT HIM rich he definitely got a personal chef to either meal prep or cooks meals for both him and Carrie.

Bobby had one of the worst anxiety attacks of his life (I mean other than when he found out the guys died) when Carrie was 7. She went to Flynn’s birthday party at an arcade and found out that she ate cheese pizza and hot dogs (I mean Lukie, Lexington, and Reg died from street glizzies for fuck’s sake). Sobbing he called Rose freaking out as he drove Carrie (who was blissfully ignorant singing along to the Kidz Bop CD she got from the party favor) to the ER. “Rose I can’t lose another person who I love” Rose right before she had to perform at a gig she convinced him to turn around and go back home.

This is @iamthefryiestfrench-blog genius idea and I love it so, so much but Carrie and Bobby definitely started to cook dinner together like a couple times a week as Father-Daughter bonding time. Well until Carrie started to get super busy with Dirty Candy and before Trevor started touring again at that point they started to drift away. Fights started to happen more frequently. Carrie started to get more and more take-out to spite Trevor, but she didn’t realize that Trevor stopped eating again. A major fight erupted after Trevor passed out from hunger a couple of weeks after the Orphuem concert.

 “Carrie sweetie it is NOT DRUGS”

“Then why did I walk in to you knocked out on the floor” 

“I just hadn’t had time to eat today mahal”

“Dad do not lie to me! I cannot lose another person who I love. I can’t Dad. I’m going to call Dr. Crystal!!!”

And that was when the truth was revealed...

Carrie’s channel is slowly started to be sponsored by hello fresh, cookunity, or blue apron every single week without fail. Both of them wouldn’t admit it, but this was her offering the olive branch and Trevor took it IMMEDIATELY. (He missed cooking with his little girl). And in the sponsorship ad you would see Trevor cooking a meal with his hair in little pigtails with pink scrunchies.

Mammon and Movies:

Basically! Someone read another fic of mine that included my self insert flappy stimming and also getting mental breakdown so it asked if i could include a couple other stims in another work since he enjoyed my first one! I. Took that request and made an entire fic dedicated to him lmao. So! I asked it later on for what it would like me to include and which character to use and here we are!

This is a 4K fic of Mammon from Obey Me paired with a Neurodivergent!Reader. The plot is that of him showing you a magic trick and smoothly whipping out a movie ticket!! You've been wanting to ask him to see a movie with you for a while so this is perfect! So perfect in fact that you're overwhelmed with happiness and have a brief moment of being nonverbal as you're overwhelmed with euphoria. Then the next day, you meet him at the venue and the date begins! Other scenes include him allowing you to hold onto his bracelets as it's one of your stims (he wears one of every texture to accomodate to your tastes), you dissociating out of anxiety in a movie theatre and him helping to ground you, and finally! Him sleeping on your shoulder before the movie ends.

Ik i kinda just said the majority of the plot lmao but! Its just a fluffy and sweet movie date! I enjoyed writing it a lot although i got about 80% of it done a month ago and tyn didn't touch it for like 2 weeks sjdbsjd i was p sad abt that. I like finishing things quickly esp when its for other people!! But it was a comfort during a hard time to write this work at 2am under the light of a night lamp and to the tune of street life ambience.

Kalim Al-Asim X Sumi Bint Khattar (Plot line):

So!! This one stemmed from me drawing something out of self indulgence and to show it to my friend, I described Sumi B in full and then I told them about my ships and around that time I had like five love songs I was obsessed with. And for each of them. I had. A separate animatic. For like at least 1 ship, the average was two but one had three. Sumi B was the centre of the most ships but not the only one. Anyway!! I told my friend about this and asked if I could dump my ideas onto them! They agreed and I started with a summarised version but then realised I needed a bit more build up so I started to write it in a bit more detail. Hah. It ended up being a Lot More Detailed but even then, I would write the scenes in a much more fluid and descriptive way if it were Real Writing so! I call it a Plotline. It is very long.

The plot itself is. long now. it’s a slowburn lmao because most if not all of my self insert ships tend to be slowburns. But this one? This particular self insert? Sumi B? Yeah she’s the only one with trust issues so she mothers the BIGGEST slowburns known to history. It takes them a year before she even considers him a friend despite seeing him every day and also having multiple deep conversations with him. Anyway though, this one is a big comfort becuase it has something I didn’t really dare to do before. Kalim, the canon character, falls in love with my oc first. Normally I have it the other way round becuase I’m too scared to assume that I would be like, deserving or like desirable enough for someone to have a crush on me. But with Sumi B, even I have a goddamn crush on her lmao. I indulge myself a bit with this one and really play around with emotions and!! In the most recent scene! We have finally reached the part where she actually starts to love him back! :D

I started this one a loooong time ago, at least a month and maybe two? It was Intended to be finsiehd in one night and then i got carried away and my friend got invested and then I ALSO got invested and so I started to develop the plot further so make it more interesting and keep the buildup going. It’s very fun and though i try to limit myself to summarising actions and dialogue, i fail. very often. so it often has little tidbits of more beautiful sentences and tension lmao. 

This particular fic is based off of my imagined animatic for the song “Would you be so kind” by Dodie! I didn’t know about the song until i saw other people’s animatics and I ended up taking it and running away haha! I’m currently really happy with it however I am really dreading the day where I actually write it out properly. If I don’t? I don’t know. Maybe I’ll post the plotline by itself. I have another fic just like it, one with a different self insert who (in fact) is very very close with Sumi B and considers her his older sister, that i ALSO wrote in semi detailed plot lines in someone’s DMs. Both are massive comforts to me and though i love them, their plot lines are so goddamn long that i will dread the day i decide to write them all out.

So uhm!!! Yeah!! XDD Those are the two fics I was talking about! I hope you enjoyed my small ramblings about them haha. I’m starting college soon though so I fear I might have much more time for fanfic.

PSA I guess

I was back and forth about bringing this up, but I again saw yet another case of this, where I feel like it needs to be said. 

There sometimes seems to be more of a case of confusion/lack of understanding of different “site culture” rather than, IDK what to call it, active intent to take away credit from deserving parties. So instead of always assuming the worst, I decided to try and give kind of a short info/explanation to some new people on Tumblr about how to engage/share content from artists here you like.

A Tip to new people using tumblr: reposting is highly frowned upon here, given there is a built-in system for you to share other people’s works that legitimately takes less effort than reposting does. 

If you enjoy an artist’s work, and specifically if they already have a Tumblr account, just reblog their art. Use the handy reblog button to bring it into your blog! 

I know places like Insta essentially “encourage” reposting with their promo account culture (in my eyes anyway), but Tumblr DOES NOT work that way, why would it, when we already have a tool to easily promote/share in-site works, build into the site?

Here, you can just click the “reblog” button, which, side note, is honestly a far better method for promoting artists/writers you like IMO, because it ensures proper credit, and all the engagement still goes to the OG artist as well. It’s essentially what those “promo accounts” on insta are trying to do, but better. 

I’ve occasionally seen new accounts popping up (like just few minutes ago) where the person is essentially reposting art without credit like this is Instagram (where while still shitty IMO, it seems more accepted for some reason...) even though in some cases the said artist even has a tumblr account they post on actively. Just go and reblog the artist’s work instead! it’s genuinely easier and faster to do than reposting lmao

So, if you want to dedicate your account to your favorite ship/fandom/character/whatever, just reblog the content others make and post here, or create your own eventually if you want to! 

TLDR: Use the Reblog system if you want to share an artwork you like on Tumblr from a creator on Tumblr, it exists literally for that very reason; to share what you enjoy! 

(And, of course, art from outside Tumblr would per common courtesy require you asking for permission and giving credit properly (and not reposting if you weren’t given permission, not that people seem to follow this a whole lot unfortunately....) but this is mainly talking about artists who already have Tumblr they post on getting their stuff reposted.)

hello love! 🥰 absolutely! tbh I still feel like a new writer myself considering I only started writing when I made this tumblr which is a year ago, and especially because my blog hasn’t grown as much as others, I feel like I’m still learning all this stuff myself too! 😊

this might be a little bit long bc I’ll be relating to my own experiences and what I’ve learned :) any writers please add on if you feel I’ve missed something! 😋

firstly, write what you want to write! don’t force ideas/requests.

your best work will come when you’re writing something that you’re excited to write. if someone sends a request, it’s okay to say that nothing is coming to mind, or think on it and come back at a later time (I still have requests in my inbox from like 7 months ago and they’re developing into full length fics (think 20k+) because I liked the idea and wanted to give time to it and now I’m really excited to write them too! that said, sometimes forcing ideas has worked for me (talk slow for example), but it’s how you feel in the moment. (now see how I linked my work just there, that is shameless self promo bc u might decide to check it out — remember this for my last point ;)

take your time! if you’re stuck, come back to it a few hours/days/weeks/more later.

following on from the first point, taking your time can be one of the most valuable things to do. sometimes all you need is a little break to figure out the missing piece from your work. if you’ve got writers block, work on a different wip/take requests, whatever works for you.

if you’re struggling to stay motivated, try: making a playlist/moodboard/banner for your fic or read something instead of writing!

pretty self explanatory, but sometimes we need visual creativity to come into play and help us craft our world so we can write it in words. and reading other fics can help you when you see the way another writer writes — their style/format, and I’ve noticed that almost every writer on this app has something unique in their writing that I can’t always put a finger on, but when I read it, it literally makes me go “yeah, I wanna go and work on my fic now.” — that I can’t explain 😂

make your blog pretty!

this is more to attract followers but it’s also very pleasing for you to see yourself! :) have links in your bio, a header, a theme for desktop tumblr, and most importantly, a masterlist!!!! I wish I’d done this earlier lol, my tumblr was trash for a while 😔

make friends! join networks!

this is a social app — use it to “network”. I can guarantee you’ll meet some amazing people and they can be a great motivation/support when it comes to your writing, whether that’s boosting your fics by reblogging, or encouraging you while you write, or even beta-reading for you. also, discord is always filled with wild conversations lmao.

space out your content!

say you get two fics written in two weeks and you don’t know when your next one will be/it’ll be at least a few weeks until the next one, whatever it is, I’d recommend spacing it out. post one fic first, and when the exposure on that starts going down, then post the second one. and queue your rb’s — remember we’re all on different time/schedules so at 2pm on wednesday you might be asleep while I’m awake, or one week you might be busy on a saturday but another saturday you’re scrolling through tumblr, so, my last point….

reblog your own work without shame! it’s yours, be proud of it! I’m still learning to do this myself but rb’s are important so do it :) + self promo!!! if someone is asking for recs, send your own fic! I have and I’ve been embarrassed to do it but they asked! but don’t do it if they’re not asking bc some authors don’t like it, it can feel forceful/ uncomfortable for them to say no.

A lot of ppl giving their opinions rn here’s mine too lmao. 1) I do think timing is convenient bc SM is coming out in a few months and promo period is starting. 2) Everyone saying that big actors and big films don’t need PR stunts..... give me a break. One Direction? Taylor Swift? Beyoncé? Jennifer Aniston? PR is PR and even the biggest names in Hollywood do it. You never know. 3) There’s also a lot of people asking “why not do it since the first movie, then?” and using the claim that a fan tipped off a pap as evidence for it not being PR. We don’t know their (Tom, Z, or SM) marketing strategy. We can all come up with a million theories but we can’t just assume things like “oh fans would’ve gotten bored with it if they did it back then” because you can’t tell and, for this example specifically, there’s a million ways to spice up long PR relationships. Maybe back then the actors fought harder against it, maybe their teams didn’t want to do it then bc they were really young, maybe they decided to wait until the last one for shock value, maybe there were contractual obstacles. We don’t know and we won’t know and everything that is said could very well be a lie including that the fan tipped them off just like that. So we need to stop assuming and start looking at the more concrete things, like timing. 4) Don’t you think that it’s weird that Mr “I’m pretty good at staying away from the public eye” was getting papped and seen with fans SO MUCH in this past month and a half? Now it feels like build-up to me. Feels like it was in his team’s plan to get him to be seen. A lot. And it does make sense because he has so much coming out. Also they were spotted together a lot since he went to LA... not trying very hard to hide I don’t think but 🤷‍♀️Also, Z hid a relationship for 4 years from 2012 to 2016 and we still don’t know who she was dating then, right? So you know, celebrities are able to control what comes out to the public but also are indeed victims of invasion of privacy a lot. 5) They do look all cutesy with each other in the car but Hollywood has proven to fake stunts very well so who knows 6) Having said all that, I think it’s just as fair to say it’s PR as it is to say it’s not PR as it is to say it’s a mix of both. Let’s not fight about it. Don’t believe anything that comes from Hollywood or the government. Stay skeptical. Stay bisexual. Stay healthy.

It’ll sound stupid and a bit wanky but I think by like… being active and making content I like and being me? That’s my advice to people who’re like “how can I get more asks/engagement” like my advice is to just do you and make content you’d enjoy reading and would find funny and put your own personality into it and don’t be afraid to talk about stuff outside the scope of what you’ve decided on blogging about? Like I think often people focus on like “okay but this is what people who signed up for this want” and like idk that people sign up for content per se as much as the blogger and it’s okay if not all your content vibes with all your followers, the point is that people will generally enjoy the vibe you cultivate. And some people won’t like it at all lmao so that is also something you have to be ready for like you’re not gonna be universally adored. There’s gonna be a lot of people with Takes™️ and if you take said takes personally like it’s gonna suck for you.

Also don’t try and copy a blog you like’s vibe, like do you. You don’t want to be a budget version of someone else. You have your own jokes and your own interests and your own vibe and that’s what people are there for - not to like follow content that’s similar to other content they like.

unfortunately i can't do anything else to change my grades because where i am (singapore) exams are more of a one-off done deal kind of case.... there's sometimes graded assignments in between exams so we can get our grades up a little, but there's no such thing as extra credit.... :") so my only real hope is to really start mugging for the next set of exams (my "promos", as we call it here, because it's the last set of exam for the school year aka we will be getting "promoted" if we pass this school year 🥴) which are like,,, 50? 60?% of my entire final grades for this year so..... yeah. that's a big oof.

and yes! i got the Pfizer vaccine! in Singapore, youths under the age of 18 can only take the Pfizer vaccine, and anyone older (18 up) can choose between Pfizer and Moderna (all these are done by choosing which vaccination center you go to for your jab when you book your appointment — the webpage shows whether the center offers Pfizer or Moderna so people can choose, but obviously for those <18 y/o we have a more limited selection of vaccination centers)

i took the shot yesterday (roughly 15? hours ago) and so far my only symptoms are my arm is kinda sore but i took the day off school anyways just to be safe zzz

ahah oh well i think that’s a little exaggeration but uhhHH sure history of this character go--

THREE YEARS AGO.  slowly creeping up on four, some fandom drama made me go fandomless, although i felt absolutely idea-less at the time and felt like i couldn’t really come up with a brand-new concept from the scratch, so i actually went through an extensive list of mythological monsters n was like...  what do i want to write...  because i was dead-set on writing a monster boy like the disappointment that i am

so i wanted something...  not just a species, but some specific creature from mythology and settled on cerberus.  so that’s what i originally wrote.  same url and everything.  was more fitting back then i think, but its still alright and i’m attached to it.  especially when i later saw someone using the url hellgvarded so i was like hehe i did it first

so, cerberus, right.  meaning i wanted to do something funky with some sort of split personality thing given the three heads n such.  well i...  couldn’t do it?  but partially i blame the fact that i couldn’t really connect with his muse in general, nor the world i put him in.  my plotting  /  shipping partner at the time didn’t really help that much.  it was very dull, set in a more cyberpunk-ish setting as compared to a modern parallel to today’s world as his canon is now, he was even supposed to have some cybernetic implants and such, not that i ever decided on those.  admittedly, that part then fuelled shinjou’s focus on that, but i digress.  his human alias was still ignis, his lover at the time was called  noctis  ( hint hint as to how i drew inspo for his brother lmao but really the name is the only connection because i liked the duality )  and he was still some sort of secret agent  /  police force thing, although i never decided on how he’s gotten to earth in that incarnation.  basically he really had no background or anything to him besides that.

so i abandoned that blog due to my inability to connect, and also partially because i managed to feel so completely overwhelmed on it within two days as it literally  exploded.  the promo got such immense traction for w/e reason that i had 200 followers within those two days, which sure it stroked my ego a lil but at the same time?  well first off, it barely let me settle in and also made me feel awful because i felt like i owed ppl a lot...  and i didn’t want to disappoint.  so many ppl jumped in on that concept and????  i actually didn’t have any muse for it?????  so rip.

so i dipped after that and made the  kitsune twins.  which stayed with me for another 2-3 years so i’d call that a success.  i still off-handedly write them on discord and at least one of them is actually important to ig’s canon.  or rather, i eventually revisitted ig to make him a plot device for  shinjou.  before  that, however, he still existed in the back of my mind in a prototype of what  the gonchiye  is today.  the gonchiye actually gave me a platform to revamp a lot of my old muses which i’m actually rly happy about, but.  anyway, back then it was a german-based organization called  die jagdhunde  ( same deal lmao )  but instead of being entirely supernatural based it was a group of humans actually hunting the supernaturals due to supersitions and stuff like that.  sometimes they’d capture some of them and force them to work for them, ig being one of those,  kalisha  being another.  it’s what made me lowkey ship them, but in the end ig ended up having a strong male preference so him and lisha are just kinda like bff’s in their current canon.  by then, i simply had ig as a regular hellhound rather than being cerberus himself as i wanted him to be  mine  rather than being a known mythology being, but he had no background nor development beyond the fact that he was  always  supposed to be a  mature, gentlemanly, but somewhat uptight individual with fire and shadow magic and the ability to phasewalk.  that’s all i had on him.

but again, i tend to hyperfixate so it didn’t become much more than a simple concept like many others, as i focused on the order of the lotus and the twins’ story.  but you know.  eventually i reached a stalemate and i had a lot of background for  shinzou,  but not his brother.  so that’s how the gonchiye became to be, being based on an ancient supernatural pit-fighting organization of which jou was once part of.  i involved  lucius  in all that, made him be the big bad, etc etc, and then had jou be bought off by the yakuza so that’s how he was raised.  i then really wanted a plot for him of infiltration and betrayal, but instead of making a whole new muse for that, i just took one of my old concepts and used that instead.  which was ig.

ig’s muse was also spurred by nata’s  ( @hellhunted )  desire to ship him with her falcon splice, which then alone led to further development of the gonchiye and their scientific endeavors.  anyway point being i made ig, as part of the gonchiye, infiltrate shinjou’s yakuza to get him assassinated, and the whole plague thing got added in a bit later, but it worked out alright.  again, one of my older concepts that i had in the twins’ old canon but wanted to reuse because i didn’t want to drop the idea completely.  so that’s how i got more involved in ig’s character, and then i finally lost the twins’ muses completely  ( much to my dismay, i miss them )  so i focused on ig?  it was surprisingly easy to connect to him afterwards and give him some background,  frankly  i don’t remember how i made him be a hellhound  /  fury  crossbreed  ( i do remember it being nata’s idea but i just don’t remember what prompted it ), but i  did  purposelly lowkey base him off of cerberus to stay true to his origins.  maybe it’s a little on-the-nose to have him be the  ‘son of cerberus’  but i’m honestly quite proud of my cerberus hc which makes it very flexible to work with.  similiarly, to how cerberus had an older brother called orthrus, i had always wanted ig to have a brother, so he  always  had a vague concept for one, so  nox  was around for a hot minute but again.  it took me a while to actually do anything concrete with him as a character.  originally, they were both hellhounds.  now ig is a crossbreed and nox is a pureblood fury.

n really then it was just a matter of writing on discord to get him to where he is now ---  i wrote him in private for about a year before bringing him on tumblr, but that’s how he came to be.  heavily inspired by the cerberus as we know him, and then adapted to my impending apocalypse canon.
