I've myself dated many conventionally unattractive people, but still called them handsome and sexy and all that because that is truly how I felt. It's to the point that a lot of my close friends have called my exes ugly or fat or gross, and it hurts my feelings every time. Not for shame for dating them, but discouragement that people I care about can be so cruel to each other

A person becomes uniquely lovely when you have them in your heart -- so, yes, they would still compliment the person they like, regardless of what their features were. Because they are gorgeous to them

here's a bit of chapter 10 of to eden, which should hopefully be coming to you in the next few days. I ended up splitting this chapter in half because a) it was almost 20k and I did not want to edit 20k and b) I have been a little stuck on the last half of this chapter but had the first half basically complete and just...sitting there. I've pulled myself out of my funk, and now I'm working on the second hal(ves)f of It's a Reflex! Since these past couple of months ate into my writing time I'm just going to be writing the chapters back-to-back, but I do need a little help on deciding on what the name for NW and RR's "Fistfight Vlad in Denny's Parking Lot" GC is going to be named. I'll put in what I've thought of in the poll below, but feel free to drop what you think of in the comments 💙
