#this always happens#'where am I going with this what is the point-- for me personally-- of doing art' is a completely valid and innocent existential question!#like I'm looking at this from the perspective of 'what do I actually WANT out of art so I can focus on THAT more :)'#but I can't ponder it without immediately running into the answer 'I guess I'm not sure?'#and I can't run into THAT without IMMEDIATELY tailspinning sdjhgdfkjd#I feel like... I draw because it's just What I Do? and not in a way where 'you don't HAVE to you're allowed to stop' would help#cause like. Whenever I feel like giving up, my OCs give me the strength to keep going. They deserve to be seen and appreciated by everyone else, and I'm the only one who can make that a reality.
