I can think of a lot of reasons why I like and have gotten attached to tsukasa more than any other fictional character and i think if i had to keep it simple (or else id be rambling for hours) id say

1. He’s so interesting. I usually pick up the extremely mischaracterized blonde characters anyways but he gets my brain working real hard. its almost 2am and i cant think straight but theres something about his duality that keeps me glued to him and the amount of Layers he has and how removing even one layer or completely ignoring how both his huge ego and kindness + selflessness coexist can really mess up your perception of him. There was something quite short i wrote about how both sides make him. Well. Him. back when his colofes dropped since i was so annoyed at the people Not getting it (while most never even read the STORIES 😁) anf ive been screaming this for a year now Please. Also the way his dream and being a good big brother go hand in hand have captured me. I really like fictional siblings and they fill something personal i miss and Looove looking at the roots of characters. Discovering where this and that and connecting events to what started their behaviors or helped their personality bloom. So seeing saki and toya play such an important role in his life keeps me HOOOKEDDD. I took the bait like tiny fish. Dont regret it. Never will. I like my fictional characters like layered cake. Thats basically how i see them. I had a yummy chocolate cake with so mant layers the other day 🤤 but anyways. I also really like when characters have to learn and grow as people after making really bad mistakes or being straight up assholes so it really took a while even after mainstory but once i got to see more of him with saki and read dazzling i was like. This is the guyyy. Youre mine now lets go. I dont like perfect characters but.. you see.. when characters who have (sometimes way too much) confidence and are dramatic yet are shown to truly be good people who enjoy making others happy… alright.. now im listening… Sign me up…

But really he has almost everything I’ve ever looked for in a character. Starting with the fact that he’s a theatre kid. And blonde. Of course emu nene and rui + more fictional characters have made their way into my heart and ive gotten attached to them on very Very personal levels but when it comes to this Idiot who wants to be a star and reminds me of a dog its something that i dont even know how to explain sometimes. Nobody is telling you to like Tommy, Tevan or even Lou, but I don't think we should say it's the greatest disservice to tv queer representation ever written. Treating it as some abhorrent manipulation of Buck's vulnerability is a bit of an overkill... I've also seen posts about how dedicated Oliver is to biBuck and how this is just heartbreaking suffering for him -> the cast is at least a little bit involved with Tim and I'm sure if it was so horrible/uncomfortable for him he'd have tried to change that line since it's so minor.

At the end of the day, it was a throwaway sexual joke said on a date of an established couple in their 30/40s that left both of them smiling and was at best a little weird...

Can some people find it hot/funny? Yes.

Can we all agree that there are different interpretations of scenes? WE SHOULD.

just had an intense unflooding-the-street experience. i actually got out there before the storm drain was completely covered, only to watch it cover before my eyes in a manner of minutes as i futilely removed leaves at a much slower pace than they were coming due to the insane speed and volume of the water. then i had the standard experience of removing a handful of leaves at a time and having to stop and retreat every time someone drove through so they didn't splash me, and then wait for the waves to die down so that i could get close enough to the drain without filling my boots with water, and then here comes another car, etc. this time there was a crew here doing work on my building, and one of them offered me a rake, which was very nice and did eventually come in handy, but i had to make some progress on the drain first to reduce the amount of water in the way, which took forever for the aforementioned reasons. the best part (sarcastic) was when a guy who had parked on the street came over to complain that he couldn't get something out of his car, and i was like "if you want this to go faster you could stand over there and direct cars not to drive through here," and suddenly it was all oh i can't i'm busy. lol. some nerve to come and complain about the situation to the one person trying to do something about it and then not be willing to do anything at all to assist. the actual best part was when another guy came over, and he said something about the drain on the other side of the street and i didn't hear him exactly so i thought he was just complaining that that one was also blocked, which like, no shit, so i was like yeah i'll get to that one next, and then he held up the rake he was carrying that i hadn't noticed and was like no i mean, can i help you out? and i was like omg yes please!!! it went much faster with two people and was also excellent for morale. i was in such a rush to get outside before the street completely flooded that i didn't have time to eat first and am now just completely soaked with rain and my own sweat and like. shaking all over lol. so i'm going to try to take a shower without fainting. wish me luck.
