Marlene was very ambitious and determined as a child. She quickly fell in love with Quidditch and decided then and there that it was what she wanted to do for the rest of her life

Growing up she had the idea that as the eldest she had to be the protector and carer to her younger siblings drilled into her brain by her father, Michael McKinnon. She didn't know it at the time but her father was sick and knew that when he died her mother would not be in the right state to take care of Marlene and her siblings, so while he was alive he tried his hardest to not only make what little time they had special but to prepare them all for when he leaves

On Marlene’s first day of Hogwarts her family also gifted her a grey cat called Monty who soon became the form her patronus took

Michael died when Marlene was 7 years old. He was killed in action during what was supposed to be his last mission as an Auror

With his death still being so unexpected Marlenes mother shut down

Because of all of this Marlene was very protective of not only her younger siblings but also her friends and mother

While growing up she was good friends with Edgar and Amelia Bones, who lived in the same neighbourhood as her family. She enjoyed spending time with both of them but her favourite was Edgar who would play Quidditch with her all day in a field near both of their houses. Amelia would occasionally play but wasn't too interested in the game to want to play a thousand games back to back

Edgar and Malene also taught all of Marlene’s younger siblings and Edgars nieces how to play Quidditch

Growing up Marlene was musically trained and sometimes she, Georgia and Edgar would put on concerts for their families

Edgar and Amelia would call Marlene “Macca” after Paul McCartney. They tried to get Marlene into the Beatles but she wasn't a big fan

Four times a year (once for each season) Peter Pettigrew would visit some of his extended family who lived in the same town as Marlene.

Because they were both the same age Marlene and Peter were encouraged to be friends and Marlene was told to look after Peter and make sure he didn't get lost

Peter was shy and didn't talk much during their first few meeting and although Marlene found it awkward and would've much preferred for him to talk she didn't push and decided to do most of the talking for him but still asked him questions to try to make him more comfortable around her (think Carl and Ellie’s first meeting from Up. That’s young Peter and Marlene)

By the time they were 11 and on their way to Hogwarts Peter was much more out of his shell and although he did stick like glue to Marlene for the first few weeks he eventually branched out and made his own friends

Despite being sorted into different houses and having different groups of friends Peter and Marlene still remind close friends and would often study together in the library. Marlene would help Peter with Care for Magical Creatures and Transfiguration while Peter would help Marlene with Defence Against the Dark Arts and Potions

On the first night Marlene and her other Ravenclaws, Emmeline Vance, Hestia Jones, Sybill Trelawney, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Gilderoy Lockheart and Alexander Steddings, all sat together on the floor by the fire and played 21 questions as some of the older students occasionally came over to introduce themselves

It was while playing 21 questions that Marlene realised that she loved Emmeline, she liked Kingsley, she was fascinated by Sybill, she was indifferent about Alexander, she couldn’t understand Gilderoy and she hated Hestia

The relationship between the Ravenclaws of the class of 1978 was always a tricky one. They all acted like cousins who couldn’t stand each other during Easter but loved each other during Christmas. They got into arguments frequently and Flickwick would often have to gather them all in his office to talk things out

One time in their second year, during a potions lesson things got so heated between the 7 of them that spells started shooting and as punishment Flitwick made them all do team building exercises for an entire Saturday afternoon

Despite her love hate relationship with the majority of them Marlene always had and always will adore Emmeline

Emmeline was Marlene’s person, her platonic soulmate, her ride or die, her sister, her everything

Marlene and Emmeline were rarely seen apart and always had each other's back no matter what. If Emmeline got into an argument with someone then Marlene was backing her no matter what, even if she was obviously wrong

Some other notable friends that Marlene had were Lily Evans, Mary MacDonald, Sirius Black and Frank Longbottom

Marlene met Lily during her first lessons with the Gryfifndors. Marlene knew that although she wanted to have a career in Quidditch she couldn't let her grades in other classes slip, for this reason the lessons she had with the Gryffindors were her least favourite. The Marauders were constantly begging to be the centre of attention and although Marlene adored Peter she really wanted to hit him whenever he was with those other boys

It was after Marlene witnessed Lily Evans calling James Potter a “toe rag who needed to be told no every once and a while” that she decided that they needed to become best friends immediately

Marlene met Mary MacDonald during their second year at Hogwarts. Lily introduced them because Mary wanted to learn about Quidditch

Marlene lit up when Mary mentioned that she wanted to be taught how to play because she always loved talking about the sport and sharing her passion with others so she and Edgar decided to book the pitch out and teach Mary and anyone else who wanted to know how to play

Their lessons became a tradition and every year on the second Sunday of September they would be held

After Mary was attacked in 1975 Marlene threw a fit trying to get into the Gryffindor common room to see her and kept having nightmares about her being attacked again every night. In the end, Marlene convinced Lily to give her the password to enter the common room and at night would sneak into Mary’s dormroom to sleep with her and make sure she’s safe

Marlene realised that she was a lesbian the moment she learnt what the word meant

She went on a few dates with a Muggle girl called Brittany during the summer of her fourth year but it was only a fling

As stated before Marlene was Quidditch obsessed and had every intention of joining the Ravenclaw team when she joined Hogwarts. Her first year had her pulling her hair out because the captain Apollo Mongegue was terrible and setting his team up to fail

After taking Emmeline’s advice, after the winter break Marlene went to tell Apollo everything that he was doing wrong, to which he mocked her and told her to mind her own business

Marlene tried out for the team the next year but didn't make the cut. When she confronted Apollo about it he made a sexist comment and blamed the female players of the previous team for them losing so bad the year before. Apollo had cut all of the girls out of the team and only took in male players

Ravenclaw lost again that year and the next year Marlene was finally let onto the team as one of their beaters

By the time Marlene had reached her fifth year she had proved herself enough to be Captain and won the Quidditch Cup for the first time that year

In her sixth year she was Captain again and wanted the Cup again more than she wanted it the first time. Even before the try outs she sent a gift basket to the other three Captains (Edgar, James Potter and Dorcas Meadows) just to sike them out

When tryouts came she made history and captained Hogwarts first ever all female Quidditch team

During this year she also had a rivals to lovers arc with Dorcas Meadows

Dorcas had apparently been wishing for Marlene’s downfall since the sorting ceremony meanwhile Marlene had been crushing on Dorcas from afar since the sorting ceremony

However, as we’ve said, Marlene is stubborn as fuck so when Dorcas declared in front of the entire school during the Halloween party in the Hufflepuff common room that they were rivals and Slytherin would crush Ravenclaw that year, Marlene happily took the challenge (even if she was a little turned on)

Marlene finally admitted her feelings for Dorcas in Mid May of 1977 during the Quidditch “circle” (idk what to call them but basically everyone involved in Quidditch and whoever they invite) secret outing to a muggle club. Dorcas admitted her feelings back and they started dating

By the end of the Quidditch season that year Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff were tied for points so Hooch said that they can have one final game to determined a winner

During that game Marlene was hit with a blundger and fell off her broom, suffering career ending injuries

While she was in the Hospital wing her siblings refused to leave her side and had to be escorted out by their Head of Houses

Also while there she was in the bed next to

During the summer before her seventh year she and Emmeline went on a roadtrip across Britain and visited all of their friends as they stopped by their town. The road trip ended in Birmingham (where Emmeline lived) where they had a joint birthday party (17 for Emmeline and 18 for Marlene)

At the beginning of her seventh year Marlene was at her worst. She could no longer become a professional Quidditch player like she hoped so what was the point in even trying to anything else since she can’t do what she loves? She and Sirius (who was in a similar situation since the Universities he wanted to attend kept rejecting him because of his family) were often found skipping classes and never paying any attention in the classes that they did attend

Flitwick had to call Marlene into his office to figure out what the problem was, and when she told him he explained to her all of the hardships he had been through in life and suggested that she might look into finding another way to be close to Quidditch without actually playing it. In the end, Marlene decided that she wanted to be a Sports Journalist

Marlene loved to write but was very protective over her writing. The only people to hear anything that she had written were her siblings and Dorcas as she would read her stories to her siblings when they were younger if they couldn't sleep and for their anniversary would write Dorcas poems

During their seventh year Marlene and Emmeline decided to play matchmakers and tried to get Tommy and Jude (Emmeline’s younger brother) together. (and it worked, though Tommy and Jude would always deny that their sisters had anything to do with it)

Marlene once convinced Emmeline to read Little Women but Emmeline never finished it. When Beth died Emmeline threw the book across the room and vowed never to read a book again

Emmeline once tried to teach Marlene how to play football and it did not go well

Marlene joined the Order after graduating, opting out to getting a job until the war was won

After finding out that Mary opted out it made Marlene rethink if she really wanted to be a part of the Order or not. Marlene was a lot of things, but a fighter she was not. If Marlene was seeking justice she was making signs, having important conversations, and preaching rights. She wasn’t duelling strangers and she definitely wasn’t putting everything she held dear on the line

On New Years day 1979 Marlene received a letter from Mary telling her that she has took her family and decided to leave the Wizarding World for good

Marlene misread the letter and interpreted it as Mary saying that she would come back once the war was over (even though Mary was never planning on coming back) So Marlene decided that the sooner the war was over the sooner Mary could come back

Marlene pledged her allegiance to the Order of The Phoenix on the 2nd January 1978

Even at school Marlene had never been the best at spells. She would easily get into her own head and stress too much to be able to perform spells properly. However, Marlene's lack was not common knowledge as she was good at hiding it with her confidence and knowledge of the spells

She had a spell for everything and knew exactly what to do to cast it but in high pressure situations just couldn’t follow through. Instead she often decided to just throw hands or find a way to manipulate Death Eaters into walking into someone else's spells

One time Fabian Prewett was badly injured and would’ve died if it wasn't for Marlene knowing the exact spell that he needed to stop bleeding out. Even though it wasn’t Marlene who casted the spell, Fabian would’ve died if it hadn't been for her, for example

In 1979 Lily told Marlene that she was pregnant

When Lily told her she was pregnant she was disappointed in her, they were fighting in a war and Lily (who was already on the chopping block by being a muggle born) had put a target on her family's back by not having safe enough sex

While everyone was congratulating both James and Lily, Marlene was panicking. Even after Lily reassuring her a thousand times that they have everything worked out and that nothing bad will happen to him, Marlene couldn't help but worry like she was doing with everything else.

In the end Marlene came to the conclusion that she had to put herself first before she spiralled and told Lily that she refuses to meet Harry until the end of the war.

Nobody agreed with Marlene's decision apart from Sirius who, even though he was doing the exact opposite, understood where she was coming from. Multiple times was Marlene asked to hang out and Harry would be there unexpectedly and she would do everything possible to avoid him

Marlene didn't like having to avoid him so much, she wanted to meet him and hold him and swear to protect him like everyone else had done, but she knew herself and she knew that she was already past her limit.

Marlene never did get to meet Harry in person

Marlene was killed on the 14th of July 1981

Peter kills her with the killing curse and leaves her and her siblings bodies as they are

Edgar was the one to find them the next morning

He is deeeefffinitely one of the characters very prone to mischaracterizations (but what character isn’t honestly😭)

I feel like a lot of the time Choso gets over infantilized? If that makes sense. am I all for socially awkward Choso? Yes. Emo or grunge? Cool, love that. Loser failboy Choso? Pry him from my cold dead hands. I love seeing the different ways he’s interpreted

but why do people headcanon him as like…not knowing what humans are? Or basic human anatomy?? like he is in a human body currently and has its memories (?) he’s been human 150 years ago I think

Not only that but I feel like a lot of the times he’s made out to be super shy👖 and a pushover which nothing wrong with that but I just can’t see 😭 like this guy? The guy making all these ugly grunty scowl faces and risking his life entirely for the sake of his brotherss?? fr?

he seems more reserved to me but not ashamed,, and definitely not gonna hesitate to make a bitch kiss the curb if they look at someone he cares about the wrong way

Okay okay okay hello

I would like to say something about this here post from late January about Kaeya choosing between Khaenri'ah and Mondstadt.

Kaeya is an extremely complex character with and extremely complex past and a turbulent relationship with loyalties. We all know this.

While some people do want to see him become a villain, and others want him to be one of the heroes, I am here to tell you that no matter which nation he chooses, he will be both.

Khaenri'ah shows up, knocking on Mondstadt's front gates, and Kaeya oh so kindly opens them for them - he's a traitor to Mondstadt, it's archon, it's people, yes. But he's also a hero to his birth nation. He is simply doing his job, fulfilling his destiny, being loyal to the people he came from.

Alternatively, Khaenri'ah comes knocking and Kaeya chooses to put his sword against them, slaughtering any abyss creature who tries to harm Mondstadt - Kaeya's seen as a hero to Mond, staying loyal to the people who took him in as one of their own, his family, their archon. But he's a traitor and a villain to his birth nation. As many headcanons as there are, none of us can actually know whether the people of his motherland were cruel and heartless to him or if they were warm and loving. If they were the latter, just imagine how harsh that would be - to love someone and place all your hope in them, only to have them turn against you mercilessly.

I would also like to point out that Khaenri'ah and the abyss aren't really enemies of Mondstadt. Yes, they attack the people, but they attack the people all across teyvat. They're not necessarily planning on overthrowing the city, but instead aim to target Celestia. Archons, on behalf of Celestia, destroyed the nation of Khaenri'ah, killed all its people and cursed the rest. If Khaenri'ah comes knocking, they won't be targeting Mondstadt, or Liyue, or Inazuma or any other nation for that matter - they will be targeting the archons and Celestia itself.

I believe that Kaeya would not step in to stop them here. If the people of Khaenri'ah target Celestia, Kaeya will not intervene, because, like it or not, those are still his people who witnessed the cataclysm and lifetimes of cursed suffering.

I do however believe that he would intervene if Khaenri'ah decided to target the people as means to attract Celestia's attention. Kaeya has deep bonds with the people of Mondstadt. He loves Diluc, his brother adopted or not, even if they can't show it because they still grew up together. He loves Klee, would do anything for the innocent little child to prevent her from finding out the harsh realities of the world. He loves Jean, and Rosaria, and Fischl, and Bennett and he loves the elderly, who all love him in return! They are his people, whether by birth or otherwise, they are his. And I believe that he will protect them if he has to.

Will Kaeya protect Venti? No. Hear me out, they may be drinking buddies and get along very well, but Venti is still an archon. Barbados is not Kaeya's god. And in the situation where Khaenri'ah is attacking, Barbados is who Kaeya would be looking at, not Venti the bard. This does not, however, mean that he would attack him either. I believe Kaeya would just stand back, observe how his two identities fight against eachother, and hurt and feel victorious simultaneously no matter what the outcome is.

Because that's who Kaeya is - both a traitor and a hero no matter who wins and who loses.

Like... It's not simply a black (khaenri'ah) and white (mondstadt) choice, it's a complex moral issue, there's a reason he was very apprehensive in choosing and agonized over the decision for years! It's not just like "Oh ok I'll choose Mond because they're my real family and shit."

It's soooooooo annoying because a lot writers remove all the moral aspect from it and don't even, you know?, consider that maybe a child of nation whom was (most likely unjustly) destroyed by celestia would want to... you know? Try and oppose them? Like mah dudes... mah bros you can't just say oh yeah but they raised you, it's not that simple.

Also, Khaenri'ah's plan doesn't HAVE to include destroying Mondstadt, nor the rest of Teyvat for that matter. Like, most Khaneri'ahns don't seem to want that and I legit can't find a logical reason they would destroy Mondstadt according to current lore.

So yeah, if Khaenri'ah were to try and destroy Mond i feel like he'd at least try and stop them but otherwise... I just don't see him choosing mond I'm sorry...

He does care for Khanenri'ah to some extent, that's the whole point of his character, that he is divided between two different sides of himself and shit.

Wether or not Kaeya's father was abusive (and he is, at the very least, lackluster as a parent (mostly because of the leaving the child in an active storm when he could've died, you know?) and we can argue about how bad he was all day) this is still very much a moral choice.

Like, I always think "Dude? If you had a bad parent, abusive, absent whatever, and they were a very well known climate activist would you become a climate change denier?" because even if he doesn't do it for his father, Kaeya could do it for all the innocent people in Khaneri'ah, you know? the ones that are slowly dying a slow and painful death while forgetting who they are, he can have his own deeply personal reasons to support Khaneri'ah.

Hey sosa!!! Sorry if you’re getting a lot of byakuya ask! So I got something I’ve been thinking about. Imagine byakuya gets taken to a strip club/gentlemen club by his peers and renji to help him ease up a little bit and to get out more and he wasn’t really all that impress until he sees reader and boom! He’s been stuck on them from that moment on and tries everything to get her! From visiting often, to VIPS rooms, giving gifts and eventually trying to make her quit because he’s so rich he can easily just pay her lifestyle if he wanted to!

EEEEEEEK!!! So whatcha think about that? And if you ever build a headcanon off this I’ll be foaming at the mouth 😮‍💨cuz your and writing is 🤌🏾😮‍💨

okay i personally LOVEEEEE THIS IDEA???FDKFDEKF LIKE THIS SOUNDS SO GOOD ! i think this kind of scenario is def something he would do to an extent 🤭 i would like to add, at first byakuya wouldn't want to go to this kind of place because, as prideful as he is, he thinks he's 'above it' and thinks that men who frequent these establishes so often are lowkey 'tasteless' because he just doesn't understand, subjectively, the appeal of watching barely clothed women dance in front and around him. but he may understand why other men might go.

and then he folds.

it's because renji is annoyingly persistent and figured the only way to get him and his other male friends/colleagues to stop asking is to go. so he promise he'll go just once and one time only just to see what the hype is about and it's like you said, he wasn't all thatttt impressed (at least they had decent drinks) but probably wouldn't come back on his own free will. until he sees the reader 🤭 she comes out in an outfit that is revealing but isn't all THAT revealing compared to her coworkers and his eyes are immediately drawn to her. there's also a certain elegance, poise and finesse that is threaded within her every movement but at the same time, she's still very sensual and feminine. the combination was incredibly sexy and captivating to byakuya, his gray silver eyes would continuously find their way back to her, like metal to a magnet. your gazes met twice during the night; your eyes were beautifully beguiling, but there was an amicable quality to them that felt inviting. you even gave him a wave as you left, and byakuya's eyes widened in surprise but otherwise his face didn't give away any emotion to his other colleagues.

all night he would think about you. yes 'kuya was a quiet man by nature but this time he was somewhat lost in thought pondering and contemplating about you and as he parted with his friends and arrived at his lavish, expansive bachelor pad, he was also already considering returning back to the establishment.... just to see you.

but ofc because he is as stubborn as he is quiet and intelligent, he wouldn't actually go back for almost another week. he made sure to go discreetly on a day/time that none of his colleagues would be there b/c he knew if they ever saw him they'd never let him live it down. this second time he goes back, he sits in a section by himself and just watches you, gingerly sipping on the alcohol he's been served. the way his eyes became low as he stared at you dance and manuever on stage, you would think he was glaring at you but it was quite the opposite. he was observing you, drinking you in, trying to figure you out just by watching you; byakuya could be very astute. either way it made you hot to have this handsome man's eyes on you all night. it wasn't in a creepy or predatory way which was a change of pace u could appreciate. in fact, you found it-- and him-- very attractive.

byakuya would find himself giving into his more primitive desires and visited a third and fourth time and the fifth time is when he gathered the courage (?) to request a private room with this woman. he figured it was time to talk to her. in all honesty, he didn't really like the idea of visiting this place so often because it made him a hypocrite but he came for you. and now, it's time he'd show you his world after getting to watch u in yours. he def courted her using his polite manners, chivalrous attitude and...basically just being himself and he was such a breath of fresh air, and sexy too, how could u resist?

i don't want this to get any longer than it already is LMAOOOOO but as u can see.........the wheels in my brain were actively turning as i typed and this was too good of an idea that i could most CERTAINLY flesh out so i thank u for this <3

He looks like they wouldn't really indulge in tickling, but if they had the chance they would be casual about it, nothing too crazy lol

Lee: Sides are ticklish and laughs weird similarly to that My Mammott game XD (i would say soles but i fucking despise feet)

Ler: Would only tickle the monster's most ticklish spots that Mammott knows, and only just knows a few teases such as

"D'awwww look at your big bubbly smile! Haha!"

"You should laugh like this more often!"

Tweedle

If she saw a tickle fight going on they would 100% record it and then show every monster the recording that same day 😂

Lee: she looks like they have ticklish axillaries (wing pits/bird armpits) and ticklish behind the ears xdd. definitely has a pretty fast laugh/giggle

Ler: The most effective thing that Tweedle can do is brush her feathers gently on the monster's tummy if they are ticklish there lolzzz. and she would sometimes use her yellow fingers and wiggle them onto smaller spots such as the chin, knees (yep, people can have ticklish knees), palms, armpits ETC. and would sometimes (but rarely) use her beak and verrrrryyyy lightly peck the monster's skin, making it feel like pokes (which are kinda ticklish depending on the monster)

§ I also don't think he will make much remarks about your insecurity. I mean he will, but it's very, veeeeery rare. Gestures are not really regular with him either, but he's words are enough to make you believe that he thinks you're flawless.

§ I mean, you were able to take him out of his shell and make the man fall for you, and that is not something all people can do🚶🏻‍♀️

§ He's an honest guy and he doesn't waste his actions, so whenever he tries to comfort you, your heart flutters by his genuine words.

BUT👏👏 Wyrm's Bride AU!! Kinda of a 'fairytale au' that's based off the fairytale Lindworm Prince and Russian film I Am Dragon! Grima is a beeg ole snake/lindworm creature, Tathareth is someone offered up as a sacrifice to him but PLOT TWIST he doesn't kill her and romance shenanigans ensue 😩💦

Grima became creature because of Sauruman because.... of course! Wizard is petty and mean enough to curse him like that lmao, probably as some sort of punishment for being a shitty spy in Rohan once the Fellowship shows up like the gang of absolute Giga Chad Madlads that they are😔😔😔

Never put TOO much thought into this curse but I love the idea of it being a 'man at night, creature during the day' !

Snake!Grima makes lots of gator sounds! The deep, growling purrs, especially. XD

Probably has a HOARD! Some small treasures, but mostly hoards stuff like books, scrolls, etc. Prefers bookish materials over finery, lowkey 🥺

In terms of like... inner turmoil Grima wants to try and separate HIMSELF from his Wyrm self. Sort of like he does in Serpentine Whispers, where there is Grima, a man who is cunning and has the capacity to do good (but chooses not to), and then there is Wormtongue, the sly, dark ugly and unwanted aspects of his character.

So in this AU there is Grima, the man, and the Wyrm, an embodiment and manifestation of everything awful about him

Tathareth is offered as a sort of sacrifice to him because elves of Lothlorien (or off brand Lothlorien in a separate fantasy setting lmao), in a moment of infinite wisdom, think that giving a giant Wyrm that made himself at home in some caves just on their realm's borders a maiden to "wed" (or eat lmao) would appease him......also they wanna make peace with the beeg scary lizard before it becomes a nuisance 😩💦....also they could slay him themselves but for plot convenience we'll just say that elves aren't privy to slaying dragons anymore

And she is given as a sacrifice since she's no (living) family to be remembered by and she makes no effort to be social, and create social bonds, with elves soooooooo needless to say she wouldn't be missed 😩😔

She gets all done did and elaborately dressed in a gaudy bridal gown of lace and gossamer and silks, wears a veil and jewelry adorned with bells to garner attention, wears wreaths and headdress made of various red flowers, wears gaudy red makeup, and spent the previous night drinking a FUCKTON of wine so her blood tastes sweet..... and she also has a blade hidden on her, a fancy bejeweled one, that she hopes to use to slaughter her wyrm husband

A whole procession ensues, including the elves bringing various elven treasures and luxury foods, even having Tathareth riding atop an elaborately adorned horse with the intention of Grima devouring it as an offering as well. LOOKS like a wedding procession, but the somber folk hymns being sung and dour atmosphere make it feel like one for a funeral.

Tathareth has a whole internal meltdown realizing how her people never truly cared for her, thinking so little of her that they throw her away to be eaten by a wyrm. Realizes that she must be undesirable and wretched if that's the case.

Grima never devours her (or the horse) and spares her life, but accepts her as an offering for a wife because 1) pretty lady and he feels bad 🥺 2) .......actually 1 is one of the only reasons because why not

Tathareth is too scared to really do anything, let alone try to slay him as she planned, so she just tries to hide and cry her feelings out

Nighttime comes and BAM! She meets human Grima😩

She believes him to be a prisoner of the Wyrm as well, so she begins to cling to him as a companion so she feels less alone 😔

Grima just tries to distance himself from his Wyrm self because he is terrified of being reminded of his shitty behavior lmao

So she gets sad whenever he leaves her during the day for reasons that are a mystery to her, buuuuuuutttt she gradually puzzles out that Grima and the Wyrm are one in the same because obviously lmao

Because it's quite the coincidence that Grima disappears in the day only to he replaced by the Wyrm, and vice versa

And because both exhibit melodramatic, sneaky, intelligent, and overall cold attitudes

But a friendship develops when Tathareth realizes that Grima ain't so bad 🥺

And friendship turns to love ofc😭😭😭🥺🥺

Love confession scene would deadass look something like this scene:

Tathareth wonders if she can heal him at all, but comes to terms that her powers as a healer can only go so far when it comes to healing black magic 😔

So Grima is snake forever

He didn’t feel the to continue to watch the arrogant people and was about to leave, when he saw a familiar face. Though, it was covered and dirt and possible blood, he was able to recognize you in a heartbeat. 

His chest hurt, while questions roamed his mind, how did it possibly come to this? Almost as if his body was on autopilot, the brunet made a flame surround the Celestial Dragon and himself, making his presence known as ‘Fire Fist Ace”. 

It was almost pathetic how cowardly these people were, it made him question how they have so much power over the world. With a strong glare to the now cowering beast, Ace held his tone harsh and rough, showing no signs of wanting to negotiate.

“Let the slaves go and get out of my site, before I make an example out of you.”

Releasing the chain the being was holding, they nodded before making a swift run out of the now flameless streets. Watching the Celestial Dragon leave, Ace snarled before releasing the prisoners. Making his way to you last, he unclasp your cuffs before giving you his hand to take, smiling like the Sun itself. 

“What are you waiting for, let’s go!”

Sabo

It’s more common for Sabo to meet a Celestial Dragon than his brothers. Due to his nature in wanting to take down the World Government, it’s become quite common to see a few of those beast run away like rats. It makes him want to hate himself just a bit, but seeing them run away due to him, makes it a tad bit easier to sleep at night. 

Taking down another fortress of the Celestial Dragons who controlled a quiet sea town wasn’t too difficult. Heading out before any marines or brave enemies found him, he turned to head downwards, in hopes there was a bunker window he can break out from. 

Once he entered the downstairs cellar, he realized it was being held as a slaves quarters, if you could call it that. People being tied down to walls by their hands or necks, their feet chained to iron balls, giving them no rest for their weary joints.

Going through, he used his Armament Haki to break the chains of the slaves, helping them up one by one. He stopped in his tracks when he came face-to-face with you. His voice was caught in his throat, but he knelt down anyway, breaking your chains. 

“I don’t know what happened, but it’s over now.”

He helps you up and frees the other slaves, ushering for you all to follow him, as you made it to the bunker window, you swore the man was an angel with how the light shined down his back.

Monkey D. Luffy

He’s an eyesore, to the World Government. After his stunt at Sabaody Archipelago, they watched the growing captain with weary eyes and disdained glares. Those looks mean nothing to the rubber human, they only feed his fury and disgust for the world they run.

So it was no surprise to him or his crew, that he was here, punching the Celestial Dragon that had enslaved you and some others that had met him over his adventures, their statements for your crimes were just being close to him was enough to be slaves. 

Once a hand was placed on his shoulder was when the brunet finally let the passed out being go. He panted roughly and wipe the built up sweat off his face before standing up and walking towards you and the others.

“Sorry to have gotten you into this mess, but I promise, it won’t happen again, I won’t let any of my friends get hurt because of me, ever again!”

He and the others worked out your chains, releasing you all to taste freedom again. Rubbing your swore wrist, you went to thank the man, but stopped in your tracks as he went on to command his crew. Helping you all onto the ship and sitting with the others, it finally dawned on you why you were so speechless.

You were standing among a king.

Sannin headcanons and thoughts

The last thing I would like to post for the sannin week. It is still 24.04 here! :D @sannin-central

This is long. Spoiler alert. Mostly Orochimaru, some Tsunade, a little of Jiraiya (because his story is pretty clear and spoken and idk what I can add). Also I recommend to read this meta about Orochimaru, it has influenced me a lot and has some good points. Sorry for any posible grammar mistakes. Also I really should put here a lot of references to the manga or anime but it was something that was piling up for a year and I'm soooooooo lazy. After all, those are just headcanons. Also: Im not excusing Oro's bad stuff here, Im trying to understand the reasons.

Ive already posted some hcs, here, here and here.

1. First if all, the chronology pic of sannin lifetime based on the info i found on naruto wiki and also some statements about wars from this post. It was tough considering what a mess naruto’s chronology is.

2. Sannin story shows what it cost to be a legend. They're like Team 7 but more realistic. Tsunade literally carried the war but left with nothing and developed a ptsd and have problems to just live on. Also anger control issues. I think she can be pretty bossy and stubborn which is not always nice. Jiraiya is the hero of the day but also very idealistic and can ignore some important details in the real word whether its the fight (he always injured during flashbacks maybe because each time he took too much to handle and on the one hand it's heroistic but on the other is a mistake that can lead your team to situations like in that Iwa cave) or your friends issues (I bet he saw what's going on but thought it's fine until Oro actually got red handed and left). He lives in his world and may have problems to get out to see it through someone else's shoes. As for Orochimaru, it seems like he was a normal guy for 20+ years (I mean, he didn't do crazy criminal shit and had something good in him and it was stated somewhere that it was his teammates influence. It is obvious they considered him as a friend, I don't thinks it was for nothing) but we mostly know his darkest side. Despite being a moster he is a human that have empathy and some ordinary human traits (man just decorates every bit of an environment he is in lol).

3. Tsunade was the leader of team Hiruzen.

4. Tsunade sometimes hit Jiraiya for some stupid things he did or said but never touches Orochimaru even if he did something same. Jiraiya complained about it once and almost got another hit.

5. Jiraiya had problematic parents that didn't care about him much and a lot of time he was wandering in the streets.

6. Judging by the look of Oro bangs and hair, he sometimes cut it off. A stress relief huh? And the fact that he doesn't do it now in Boruto..

7. It was shown that Tsunade and Orochimaru was acknowledged before they become a team. Maybe they did just before, or maybe some longer time before. I prefer the second option and hc that they met because both had no real friends - Orochimaru seemed weird and scary for everyone and Tsunade was Senju so everyone wanted to hang out with her but didn't really care. They weren't seen as what they were - people put the labels on them. But they didn't care about each other's labels and actually saw each other in true lights.

8. Tsunade knew it was an accident and it's not right but still she blamed Orochimaru for Nawaki's death for some time. It was something that seriously damaged their friendship and the team. Orochimaru was mad but also guilty, after all, he was responsible at least as a shinobi since Nawaki was under his watch. So he started to act cold and emotionless and was trying to distance himself from his teammates.

9. Jiraiya was in Ame while Dan died.

10. The whole his orphans mission was a bit irresponsible tbh. They already fought Hanzo and as he stated the conflict between Konoha and Ame is going to an end with Konoha's win. It's weird to stay here for three years in the middle of the war while there were other lands to fight. He left his teammates for some idea. Maybe that caused another crack in their team friendship.

11. If Tsunade would have find a way to live on with her trauma and follow the will of fire and stuff it would affect Orochimaru as well just as her grief affected him. It's like he would get an example that you can live on with this pain. So death isn't above human capability and we are not just the slaves of mortality (sounds stupid but i dont know how else to describe sorry). But as we know what he actually saw is that it broke her crucially to the point she couldnt be herself again. And so the death is above everything.

12. Oro wasn’t just acting as a cold pragmatic bitch in that cave but also tried to save Tsunade. Jiraiya knew it and that’s why he showed this sign to him like "I see what youre doing here" and that stunned Oro because he would prefer to look rather like a cold pragmatic bitch hehe

13. Just a thought. People in the village probably treated Oro as a foreigner or just wouldnt accept him because he looked so differently and had a weird attitude. That's why he sometimes didn't feel that Konoha is his home. After the wars where people were treated as means and tools, even the children, he himself developed this view on people - he dehumanized them and used as the means to his goals, just as his village did. Funny thing some people were straightly dehumanizing him too like Ibiki thought that he was a demon (tho he was a child). And he probably weren't the only one. Anyways the point is that it's logical that Orochimaru don't care about anybody but some few people, he's the product of his era. He's like Naruto that would chose the hatred way. But naruto had some good and understanding people around him and.. Orochimaru had them too, but match how Iruka treated Naruto and this Hiruzen's "I sAw tHe mAliCe in This cHiLd fRoM tHe BegGinNinG". And oro didn't even have a big ass evil fox in him. sry i hate hiruzen

ANYWAYS the moral of the story is not "go criminal if they hurt you" but always treat people like people. Waving my hand to Kant.

14. The reason why Orochimaru didn't pick some good morals to stick with through the hard times no matter what (like, idk, Jiraiya or Naruto) is because 1) I think he is/was pretty depending on people around him 2) the war fucked him and his friends up too much (Nawaki incident + Tsunade) 3) twisted addictions (though I don't think he's that sadistic, we never saw him torturing randoms just for fun, it was always some science experimental shit. Jiraiya was always hesitant to kill and inclined to forgiveness, while Tsunade, as mentioned by Orochimaru, could be merciless (so much so that he was not surprised when Kabuto suggested that she wanted to use Jira for Edo Tensei).

19. That was one of her traits that scared Jiraiya and fascinated Orochimaru.

20. Remember how Oro grabbed Jiraiya's neck when the latter was trying to cover with hair jutsu? On the snake, in Tsnade's arc. Orochimaru could have easily kill Jiraiya by pulling the sword out of the mouth (arteries are right there) but he didn't. As well as he could kill Tsunade when she was still shaking - just aim for the neck or the heart. Instead, he just injured her lung and kicked her which is not a big deal for the kind of shinoby like her at all.. Also he helped Anko not accidentally kill herself but it would be way much profitable to let her do it. "Orochimaru has no feelings".

The reason he suddenly wanted to kill Tsunade instead of forcing her to heal his arms as it was planned (which is weird since it will not going to get him heals and he kinda said that he wouldn't want to kill her just minutes ago) is that not only she refused to help him (he thought he could work it out) but she also prefered the village over him (from his point of view). Out if everyone she was the closest to being able to understand him since the village caused her painful losses too but nevertheless she agreed to be on it's side.

22. He wasn't fighting her back in the end partly because he thought he deserved that. Somewhere deep inside hahah.

28. As you may know the lyrics in Orochimaru’s music theme goes “don’t talk with the silence of the heart”. It was taken from one Indian song that also had lines like “don’t question life too much”, ”pain arose somewhere in the chest”, “don’t speak to the wounds of the heart”. Though I’m not sure 100% because I was translating it with some hindi dictionary with like zero knowledge of hindi

29. I like to think that this “silence of the heart” theme and the fact that he called his village a hidden sound village are somehow connected. The hidden sound is the possible explanation of all things waiting to be listened to but the truth is silent and you know it deep in your heart and it bothers you. The world is silent just like the life is meaningless but people can only hear. *Sigh* anyways

30. Orochimaru’s journey is the one about accepting death. When he saw Karin released her chains while was trying to get to Sasuke he understood that the death is a part of human’s strength.

Sure! Hiccup can be hopeless at trying to DO romantic things and to REACT in not awkward ways to the things he observes, but he doesn’t NOT notice.
