animal farm by george orwell: this book was undoubtedly fucking brilliant. i once again have proven my point in which anthromorphism is one of the most amazing ways of metaphorical writing/media. it successfully conveys the writers intended message in a digestible and almost humorous fashion. (bojack horseman) but but this is about animal farm! and i can with full confidence say this is the book i would recommend absolutely anybody. it is such an easy and simple read. in just 97 short pages, it touches on the terrifying regime of totalitarianism, the horrors of anti-intellectualism and the instability of an uneducated populous. i am once again profoundly petrified regarding anti-intellectualism and society lacking of a proper education. the totalitarianism to anger to enlightenment to revolution to (very momentary) communism to betrayal to back to fucking totalitarianism again ??? that pipeline legitimately shook me to my core in the greatest fucking way possible. and the last line was literal poetry. also the part where boxer was taken made me really sad.

I did not remember the cancer arc to be this romantic..
