Purva Bhadrapada | World Wanderer
Purva Bhadrapada, unfolds a cosmic dance that intertwines mythology, symbolism, and the mysteries of the universe. Governed by the celestial forces of Saturn and Jupiter, this Nakshatra is home to the enigmatic deity Aja Ekapada, often associated with the awe-inspiring form of Lord Shiva as Nataraja. This article delves into the profound symbolism embedded in Purva Bhadrapada, connecting the dance of creation and destruction with elements ranging from Hindu mythology to modern physics, exploring the dualities of existence and the spiritual journey
Nataraja - The Cosmic Dancer
In the ethereal realm of divine dance, Nataraja, the one cosmic manifestation of Lord Shiva, continues to unfold a mesmerizing tapestry that captures the essence of creation, destruction, and the cyclical nature of existence. This celestial dance, a sublime choreography known as Pralaya, resonates with profound symbolism that transcends the boundaries of mythology, offering a timeless allegory for the eternal transformation of energy in the cosmic order.
The untamed locks of Lord Shiva, a visual manifestation of asceticism, stand in stark contrast to his role as a householder. This duality encapsulates the multifaceted nature of Shiva, symbolizing his ability to seamlessly oscillate between the transcendent and the worldly. The unruly hair, flowing freely as he dances, represents a rejection of societal norms, an embodiment of the ascetic spirit that eschews material attachments while actively participating in the cosmic drama
The sacred Ganges, coursing through the tangled strands of Shiva's hair, assumes a pivotal role in the cosmic dance. Its descent from the heavens to Earth is not merely a celestial event but a symbolic act guided and protected by Shiva. This divine intervention not only breaks the fall of the sacred river but also alludes to the interplay between the celestial and terrestrial realms. The Ganges, now residing in Nataraja's locks, becomes a potent symbol of purity, spirituality, and the interconnectedness of the cosmic forces.
The crescent moon, delicately placed in Shiva's matted hair, holds profound significance in the cosmic ballet. Its waxing and waning influences Kama Dev, the god of nightly love, breathing life into the changing seasons that govern the universe. The rhythmic dance of Nataraja, guided by the lunar phases, symbolizes the perpetual cycle of birth, growth, decay, and regeneration. In this celestial choreography, Shiva orchestrates the cosmic symphony, ensuring the harmonious flow of life's eternal dance.
At the heart of Nataraja's dance is Pralaya, the cosmic dissolution that marks the end of an existing order. This transformative phase emphasizes the impermanence of the material world and the continuous cycle of creation and annihilation. As Shiva engages in the rhythmic dance, the universe dissolves into him, highlighting the profound truth that energy can neither be created nor destroyed; it only undergoes perpetual metamorphosis.
In Shiva's hand, the damaru, an hourglass-shaped drum, reverberates with a rhythmic beat that echoes the cosmic pulse. This incessant sound symbolizes the ceaseless recreation of the universe. The damaru's beats resonate with the vibrations that underpin the fabric of reality, creating a cosmic harmony that sustains the intricate dance of life, death, and rebirth.
The serpent coiled around Nataraja's arms in the cosmic dance further amplifies the symbolism within Purva Bhadrapada. The serpent, often a symbol of primal energy and kundalini, signifies the power over deadly creatures and echoes the transmigration of human souls. As the serpent sheds its skin, symbolizing rebirth, it mirrors the cyclical nature of existence, reinforcing the idea that life is an ever-evolving journey of transformation and renewal.
As Nataraja's cosmic dance unfolds, the symbolism embedded in each gesture and element becomes a profound meditation on the nature of existence.
Aja Ekapada
In this sacred Nakshatra, the celestial dance of Lord Shiva takes on profound layers of symbolism, weaving an intricate tapestry that extends far beyond the cosmic dance of Nataraja. Aja Ekapada, the presiding deity of this Nakshatra, emerges as a symbolic powerhouse.
Described as a kind of Agni, Aja Ekapada embodies the transformative power of fire. The flames of Agni in Hindu tradition represent not only the destructive force but also the purifying and regenerative aspects. In the context of Purva Bhadrapada, this fiery essence takes on multifaceted roles, resonating with the rituals of funeral rites, the tumultuous energy of storms, and the mysterious realm of black magic and occult practices. Aja Ekapada, in its fiery form, becomes a symbol of transition, where the old dissolves to make way for the new.
Purva Bhadrapada intricately weaves together various elements, creating a complex narrative that bridges Hindu mythology with the intricacies of our physical and spiritual existence. The mention of spinal nerves, sacrificial altars, and guardians of goddesses adds layers of depth to this celestial story. The spinal nerves, conduits of electrical signals between the brain and the body, symbolize the interconnectedness of our physical and spiritual selves. The sacrificial altars evoke the idea of offering and surrender, essential elements in the journey of self-realization. Guardians of goddesses suggest protective forces that guide and shape our spiritual path.
The symbolism deepens with references to tiger skin, pillars, and the fiery red color. Tiger skin, traditionally associated with Lord Shiva, represents the conquest of fear and the taming of primal instincts. Pillars stand as symbols of support and stability, echoing the cosmic pillar of the universe upheld by Shiva in his dance. The fiery red color, reminiscent of Agni's flames, symbolizes the intensity of transformation and the dynamic energy inherent in Shiva's cosmic dance.
Science
The intersection of Vedic symbolism and modern scientific concepts unveils a captivating tapestry that bridges the ancient and the contemporary. This essay further explores the profound parallels between the cosmic dance of Nataraja and scientific phenomena like the Einstein-Rosen Bridge, the Higgs boson, and the cosmic dance of subatomic particles. The metaphorical connection crafted by Carl Sagan serves as a beacon, guiding us through the seamless integration of ancient wisdom with our evolving understanding of the cosmos
The Einstein-Rosen Bridge, often colloquially referred to as a wormhole, represents a hypothetical tunnel-like structure connecting two separate points in spacetime. In the dance of Nataraja, we find intriguing parallels with the concept of the cosmic dance of subatomic particles, where the rhythmic beat of Shiva's damaru symbolizes the underlying pulse of the universe and a bridge in space and time. The concept of a bridge that transcends the ordinary dimensions of space and time echoes the transcendental nature of Nataraja's dance, a cosmic ballet that extends beyond the boundaries of conventional understanding.
In Vedic symbolism, Nataraja's dance represents the eternal cycles of creation, preservation, and dissolution. The Einstein-Rosen Bridge, if ever realized, would serve as a cosmic conduit, allowing particles and perhaps even information to traverse vast cosmic distances instantaneously. The dance of Nataraja, likewise, serves as a bridge between the material and the spiritual, embodying the interconnectedness of all existence.
The Higgs boson, often dubbed the "God particle," is a subatomic particle that bestows mass upon other particles through the Higgs field. The Higgs boson, as a fundamental particle shaping the fabric of the universe, parallels Shiva's role in creating different seasons and rejuvenating life through the waxing and waning of the moon.
Nataraja's dance, representing the dissolution of the existing order and the eternal transformation of energy, aligns with the transformative nature of the Higgs boson. Both concepts speak to the fundamental aspects of existence, emphasizing the interconnectedness of particles and cosmic forces in shaping the universe's intricate dance.
The dance of subatomic particles, a mesmerizing ballet occurring at the quantum level, mirrors the celestial dance of Nataraja. As particles interact and exchange energy, creating a dynamic interplay, Shiva's dance resonates with the intricate choreography of the quantum realm. The damaru's rhythmic beat in Nataraja's hand finds its parallel in the pulsating nature of particles, creating waves and resonances that echo through the cosmos.
The concept of the cosmic dance of subatomic particles delves into the interconnectedness of all matter and energy, akin to the interconnected gestures and postures in Nataraja's dance. The dance becomes a metaphor for the underlying unity in the seemingly diverse and complex fabric of the universe, where every movement holds significance in the cosmic symphony.
Carl Sagan, a luminary in popularizing science, drew a metaphorical connection between the cosmic dance of Nataraja and the scientific understanding of the 'cosmic dance' of subatomic particles. Sagan's eloquent exploration aligns with the broader theme of the essay, highlighting the synergies between ancient wisdom and modern scientific inquiry. The metaphor invites us to contemplate the cosmic ballet on both macro and micro scales, emphasizing the unity that pervades the cosmos.
Sagan's metaphorical bridge between the dance of Shiva and the dance of particles serves as a testament to the enduring relevance of Vedic symbolism in contemporary scientific discourse. It prompts us to consider the possibility that the ancient seers, through their symbolic language, may have intuited truths about the nature of the universe that are only now being revealed through the lens of advanced scientific instruments and theories.
Mad Scientist Archetype
One intriguing facet of Purva Bhadrapada finds resonance with the archetypal figure of the 'Mad Scientist.' Delving into the layers of this Nakshatra, we discern how its inherent themes align with the characteristics commonly associated with the 'Mad Scientist' archetype.
Symbolized by the two-faced man, encapsulates the theme of duality. This duality is not merely a surface-level contrast but a profound exploration of contrasting energies coexisting within an individual. The 'Mad Scientist,' often portrayed as a genius teetering on the edge of sanity, mirrors this duality. The scientist's transformational experiments and unconventional pursuits underscore a journey into the realms of both brilliance and madness, akin to the cosmic dance of Purva Bhadrapada.
Aja Ekapada, embodies the fiery essence of unconventional thinking and innovation. The 'Mad Scientist,' driven by a relentless pursuit of knowledge and discovery, often defies societal norms and embraces uncharted territories in the pursuit of scientific breakthroughs. Purva Bhadrapada's influence fosters an environment where unconventional ideas are not only accepted but embraced as a means of unraveling hidden truths.
Purva Bhadrapada's connection with occult practices, black magic, and mystical realms draws parallels with the 'Mad Scientist's' often secretive and esoteric experiments. Both explore the boundaries of the known and the unknown, pushing the limits of human understanding. The Nakshatra's association with Aja Ekapada as a deity of funeral rites and storms aligns with the archetypal scientist's relentless pursuit of unlocking the mysteries of life and nature.
The 'Mad Scientist' archetype frequently grapples with the ethical implications of their experiments. Similarly, Purva Bhadrapada, with its two-faced symbolism, reflects the dual nature of morality. The Nakshatra challenges conventional notions of right and wrong, encouraging a deeper exploration of the shades of gray that exist in the pursuit of knowledge and power.
This Nakshatra's emphasis on transformation and the eternal dance of creation, preservation, and dissolution echoes the 'Mad Scientist's' quest to transform not only the world but themselves. The scientist's pursuit of knowledge often involves a personal transformation, blurring the lines between sanity and madness, mirroring the cyclical nature depicted in Purva Bhadrapada.
Purva Bhadrapada's connection with the sacrificial alter and its association with Aja Ekapada as a deity of storms and black magic aligns with the 'Mad Scientist's' often sacrificial commitment to their visionary pursuits. The archetype willingly sacrifices personal well-being and societal acceptance in their relentless pursuit of scientific knowledge, echoing the sacrificial undertones embedded in the Nakshatra's symbolism.
The enigmatic nexus between Purva Bhadrapada and the 'Mad Scientist' archetype unveils a shared terrain of duality, transformation, and unconventional exploration. Both embody a ceaseless dance between brilliance and madness, pushing the boundaries of human understanding.
In the realm of cinema, the portrayal of Robert De Niro (PBP Moon) and James McAvoy (PBP Ketu) in roles associated with the 'Mad Scientist' archetype serves as compelling examples of the enduring fascination with characters who delve into the boundaries of morality, creation, and the consequences of playing god. Robert De Niro's depiction as Frankenstein's monster in the film captures the essence of the 'Mad Scientist' archetype. Dr. Victor Frankenstein's relentless pursuit of scientific knowledge leads to the creation of a creature he seeks to destroy, only to face the repercussions of his actions as the monster returns with a thirst for revenge. The narrative unfolds the classic trope of a scientist grappling with the unintended consequences of tampering with the natural order.
Similarly, James McAvoy's portrayal in a film centered around Victor Frankenstein underscores the archetype's thematic complexity. In this iteration, Victor collaborates with Igor Strausman for groundbreaking research on immortality, a quest that propels them into the precarious realm of manipulating life and death. The narrative takes a horrific turn, reflecting the archetype's tendency to unleash forces beyond human control. Igor, recognizing the potential havoc, attempts to intervene, highlighting the ethical dilemmas that often accompany the 'Mad Scientist' as they tread on the thin line between scientific advancement and moral consequences. These cinematic portrayals stand as poignant reminders of the archetype's timeless allure, exploring the intricate dance between genius and the unforeseen repercussions of pushing the boundaries of scientific exploration.
Jekyll & Hyde Archetype
In the exploration of Purva Bhadrapada's deep symbolism reveals striking parallels with the dichotomy embodied by Dr Jekyll and his malevolent alter ego, Mr Hyde.
The central theme of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde mirrors Purva Bhadrapada—the duality within a single individual. This Nakshatra encapsulates the idea that within the human psyche, contrasting energies coexist, often in an intricate dance that blurs the lines between good and evil. Dr Jekyll's internal struggle with his dual nature reflects the nuanced exploration of light and shadow inherent in Purva Bhadrapada.
Both Purva Bhadrapada and the Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde narrative revolve around the transformative power within. The Nakshatra's emphasis on creation, preservation, and dissolution aligns with Dr Jekyll's quest to transform his own nature. However, just as Purva Bhadrapada's dance entails a cycle of transformation, Dr Jekyll's experiments lead not only to his liberation but also to the release of the malevolent Mr Hyde, the embodiment of his darker impulses.
Purva Bhadrapada delves into the dual nature of morality, challenging conventional notions of right and wrong. Similarly, Dr Jekyll's experiment represents a bold foray into the blurred boundaries between societal morality and personal desires. The internal conflict faced by Dr Jekyll in resisting the temptations embodied by Mr Hyde echoes the Nakshatra's exploration of the fine line between righteousness and temptation.
The Nakshatra's association with Aja Ekapada, embodying fiery funeral rites and occult practices, parallels Dr Jekyll's unconventional scientific pursuits. Both delve into realms beyond the ordinary, challenging societal norms and exploring the mysteries that lie beneath the surface. The 'mad scientist' archetype, represented by Dr Jekyll in this context, aligns with Purva Bhadrapada's inclination toward unorthodox paths of knowledge.
There is a profound exploration of the consequences of unleashing inner demons. The malevolent aspects of the Nakshatra, symbolized by storms, black magic, and occult influences, find their counterpart in Mr Hyde's unrestrained malevolence. The collateral damage wrought by Dr Jekyll's experiments becomes a cautionary tale, underscoring the potential dangers of delving too deep into the mysteries of the self.
In the eternal cosmic dance symbolized by Purva Bhadrapada, we find echoes of Dr Jekyll's struggle, a timeless reminder that the exploration of one's depths is a venture fraught with both enlightenment and peril.
The cinematic landscape, adorned with diverse narratives, often unfolds tales that mirror the timeless archetype of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, encapsulating the nuanced exploration of dual personas within a single individual. In the Bollywood film "Chehre Pe Chehra," the enigmatic Rekha(PBP Moon) takes center stage in a narrative reminiscent of the classic duality of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde. The storyline unravels the complexities of human nature, unveiling the transformation of characters and the consequences of inner conflict.
Similarly, Michael Caine (PBP Sun), in a Victorian era setting, personifies the archetype in a cinematic rendition where scientific experiments into the dual nature of man yield a personality-splitting drug. His portrayal echoes the timeless struggle with the darker facets of the human psyche, bringing forth the uninhibited brute, Mr Hyde, who seeks violent and undignified pleasures. Caine's performance exemplifies the enduring allure of the Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde archetype, showcasing the perpetual fascination with the exploration of contrasting elements within the human soul.
In a comedic twist, Eddie Murphy (PBP Mercury)'s character in a narrative involving genetics and self-experimentation provides a contemporary lens to the archetype. The transformation from an extremely overweight genetics professor to an obnoxious figure after experimenting with a slimming potion mirrors the transformative themes of the Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde archetype. The narrative delves into the consequences of tampering with one's physical form, drawing parallels to the eternal struggle between light and shadow within.
Bipasha Basu (PBP Ketu)'s portrayal in a film called Alone, where an evil spirit seeks to wreak havoc in the life of Sanjana, with connotations of sibling rivalry and jealousy, bears semblance to the archetype. The dual personas within the character reflect the intricate dance between good and malevolent forces, akin to the timeless narrative of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
In these cinematic examples, the Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde archetype persists as a timeless and captivating theme, transcending genres and cultures. Each portrayal underscores the fascination with the internal struggle, the consequences of self-experimentation, and the perpetual dance between conflicting facets of the human psyche.
Fallen Angel Archetype
After delving into the layers of Purva Bhadrapada's symbolism unveils striking parallels with the poignant narrative of celestial beings descending from grace—a theme intrinsic to the fallen angel archetype.
Purva Bhadrapada, mirrors the fallen angel's descent from celestial realms into the complexities of earthly existence. This Nakshatra encapsulates the idea that within the celestial and divine, dualities coexist, often leading to a profound journey of self-discovery and transformation. The fallen angel archetype, speaks to the intricacies of navigating through contrasting energies and the challenges posed by the earthly realm.
The fallen angel archetype often involves a narrative of temptation and rebellion against the divine order. Similarly, Purva Bhadrapada's association with Aja Ekapada, embodying fiery funeral rites, storms, and occult practices, suggests a journey marked by the allure of forbidden knowledge and a departure from established norms. The Nakshatra's exploration of the boundaries between morality and temptation resonates with the theme of celestial beings succumbing to earthly desires in the fallen angel narrative.
In the fallen angel archetype, the descent is often accompanied by themes of sacrifice and the potential for redemption. Purva Bhadrapada's connection with the sacrificial alter and its association with a form of Rudra, storms and black magic aligns with the archetype's emphasis on sacrifice as a means of grappling with the consequences of the descent. The possibility of redemption, a recurring motif in the fallen angel narrative, echoes the Nakshatra's transformative energy and the cyclical nature of creation, preservation, and dissolution
Both Purva Bhadrapada and the fallen angel archetype occupy a liminal space between the celestial and the earthly. The Nakshatra's dance, representing the eternal cycles of creation and dissolution, mirrors the fallen angel's journey of navigating the delicate balance between divine origins and the complexities of earthly existence. The archetype captures the essence of beings caught between realms, embodying a poignant struggle for self-discovery and spiritual evolution.
Purva Bhadrapada's symbolism emphasizes the liberation achieved through the descent into the earthly plane. The fallen angel archetype, too, explores the concept of liberation through the transformative journey of descending into the human experience.
Both of these narratives invite contemplation on the complexities of existence, the interplay between divine and earthly energies, and the eternal dance between temptation and redemption—a dance that echoes through the corridors of mythology and astrology, captivating the human imagination across cultures and epochs.
High Priestess Archetype
The High Priestess archetype embodies the essence of occult wisdom, esoteric knowledge, and an intuitive connection to the cosmic dance—a dance that Purva Bhadrapada orchestrates with its transformative energies and mystical allure.
This energy is marked by an innate intuitive insight. Individuals under this influence possess a deep connection to the unseen realms, navigating the cosmic dance with a heightened sensitivity to the energies that surround them. Like the high priestess who guards the threshold between worlds, those attuned to Purva Bhadrapada can peer into the veiled mysteries of existence.
Purva Bhadrapada is a repository of occult wisdom, and individuals embodying this archetype hold the keys to esoteric knowledge. They become the keepers of ancient secrets, wielding the transformative power inherent in the cosmic dance. There is a profound connection to sacred rituals and ceremonies. Aja Ekapada's association with funeral rites, storms, and occult practices aligns with the priestess's role in conducting rituals that bridge the mundane and the divine. Purva Bhadrapada becomes a cosmic altar where transformative energies are harnessed through sacred rites.
This archetype mirrors the Nakshatra's dance of creation, preservation, and dissolution, revealing the cyclical nature of spiritual evolution. The priestess guides the seeker through the labyrinthine paths of transformation, facilitating a journey into the depths of the soul.
Purva Bhadrapada unfolds its cosmic dance through the lens of the mysterious high priestess archetype. It invites individuals to explore the depths of intuition, occult wisdom, and transformative energies, guiding them through the sacred rituals of spiritual evolution.

I got into the void using your challenge: live update
Day 1:
I said isn’t it wonderful once every hour: everytime I felt doubt I reminded myself isn’t it wonderful and the doubt went away. It kept me in very good mood and my desires did feel closer to me more than ever
Day 2:
Like the challenge said I started my day with Isn't it wonderful that I love and accept my godly ability to choose my reality, and I said that once and mediated on my limited beliefs to and tried to question why I should have them when I am god. I felt like a new person
I manifested so many things. Free coffee’, a cute man asking for my number, so many compliments from strangers which rarely happens, and not being late to class even though I’m always late. I was already becoming my dream self I envision after the void
I have a good vision board I was using for my visuals. Everytime something reminded me of my 3D, I stared at it on my phone to remind myself of the life I am living so why am I concerned, and I repeated isn’t it wonderful to remind myself of my wonderful life, it worked like a charm pun intended
It is night time so I am going to listen to the third video you recommended.
Tomorrow I will write about how grateful I am for all my desires that have manifested and meditate on the phrase it is done. My dream life is already here even if not in the 3D yet I have already become my imagination and I’m excited to fulfill my desires on the fourth day and I will message you my success story.
Day 3:
Today is my last day and I am already fulfilled. It really is wonderful. This morning I got up at 3 am (Happy Aïdd) and prayed on all the things I am grateful for. I went to sleep and woke up again. And journaled about all the wonderful things I have. My wealth, my beauty, my kind heart, the wonderful celebration in my beautiful house I am having with my family, my wonderful fiancé, mastery of the void state, the millions dollars of income I have flowing in my bank account yearly, my healthsafety and protection from god, all things that will be fulfilled the next time I close my eyes and open it. Then I wrote all my goals for the rest of the year, business plans, school plans, wedding plans, trip plans etc etc. this is a normal thing for me. All I could think is it is done this is my life MashaAllah
Update:
I was not planning into going to the void until after I went to bed. But I took a nap and woke up in the void thank you so much for this wonderful challenge
I woke up from my nap in a room I did not recognize I feared I had died, but it is here. I am not shocked or surprised, I don’t know how when I cried for this to happen for months but I have been fulfilled since the first day of the challenge so thank you dear 🙏
A shortened version of my desires
Living a luxurious life in Dubai
Living with all my family members in a 12 bedroom mansion in Dubai
Many house help who are treated with love and kindness and paid well
Loyal wealthy loving and god fearing handsome fiancé whom my family approve of
Attending zayned university
Hourglass body, and 36 inches of long healthy hair that never gets matted
Misgyony free household
10/10 beauty
Long natural nails that never break
High IQ that is respected
A white phantom rolls-Royce as my car
And a lot more 🙏 thank you to Loa tumblr and god himself. I pray all of this for you kind dearing souls
Another update
Tomorrow we throw a celebration and none of my family knows I did this, it is like we have always been rich and happy when we were poor and torn apart. I decorate and set up with my sisters, my mother is cooking 30 dishes, and my father for once is helping her clean up. He now worships here rather than abuses her. I am already getting many gifts, purses and jewelry I could only see in my dreams. My closet is very large the size of my old apartment 😂😂 I have hundreds of shoes and even more clothes and purses. I am in awe and greatful 🥰
Happy Aïdd😭😭🎉🎉💕 the fact that you got your desires on this wonderful day makes me so happy !!! You honestly did the challenge in more depth than I gave and it worked out so beautifully I am beyond happy for you beautiful anon 😭🫶🫶

I kinda just wanna write game reviews here sometimes. *Ahem*
It's pretty damn rare that you find a piece of media like this throughout the course of your life.
One that elegantly, carefully, and lovingly traverses infinite despair in an infinitely more hopeful way. One that shows you that no true problem can be solved in a single day. One that teaches of the compassion in our hearts, for those around us and the world we all live in.
And, for me, one that teaches that in the face of despair, fear, and sadness, beauty can also be found, and that no matter how pointless it can seem, fighting, trying, and persistence is how we can push through the end of the world. And now matter how all encompassing it may seem, the end is never truly the end. It's just a new beginning.
I am, of course, referring to...
Before I continue, I must clarify, as I did in my ACT review, this will feature spoilers, and moreso than almost any other game I've played, you simply must play this blind if you can.
Ok, a brief, completely spoiler free review. *Ahem again*
Outer Wilds is a beautiful, relaxing yet occasionally stressful first person space exploration game, in which the only currency you collect through the game is knowledge. The solar system is your own journey through the puzzle box the devs made. The music is beautiful and touching, the visuals are distinct yet simple, and the story is like nothing else. The only genuine 10/10 I can give. It's brilliant.
Ok, I will now put a funny picture, this is your opportunity to leave spoiler free.

Ok now time for the real gamers to chat.
This game. This fucking game. It reaches deep to the innermost part of my mind and soul and shows me a more accurate depiction of the human experience than any other game, and it don't even got humans.
It is the absolute definition of existential optimism, and I think it's refreshing, and borderline spiritual.
And this fact is helped because the way you get to the end is entirely up to you. Every single person who plays this game will play it differently. Everyone follows what they find amazing and interesting, and everyone finds what they think is, and they fly and crash and die and laugh and love every moment they spend in this dark, enrapturing galaxy.
The combination of nostalgic foresty landscapes, crumbling planets, shoddy craftsmanship, and banjo laden melancholy music make for a uniquely sentimental game, which allows you to connect with what theyve done.
I mean fuck some of the coolest ideas for planets and worlds I've ever seen.
Brittle Hollow and it's crumbling deadly surface, and infinitely heavy black hole at the center
Dark Bramble, always enshrouded in fog and mystery, endlessly repeating dangerous, vine coated voids filled with the most terrifying creatures in the known universe
The Hourglass Twins, the most clearly time based astral body of all, as two planets pirouette through the sky, trading impossible amounts of sand due to a shift in gravity
And of course, the Quantum Moon, a blend of all other planets with an ethereal, eternally shifting vibe layered thickly on top.
It's brilliant, and scary, and add layers and layers to your story.
And the characters and all so clearly defined, with interests and dreams and hopes. Reibeck hates space but is obsessed with the Nomai technology and history, so he can't help but explore. Feldspar and his sporadic attitude and wealth of courage allowing him to explore anywhere, as long as it's got beasties. And of course, the one, the only, the best o Outer Wilds character, Gabbro!
This chill as mother fucker got trapped in the same time loope as you, and is simply to chill and content to give a single fucking shit, while still helping where he can with advice and knowledge. It's awesome, and he also teaches you how to speed up your death with meditation, so that's... Cool.
And of fucking course I gotta talk about the music.
It's hypnotic. It permeates your body and makes you happy and sad and lonely and any other thing you can imagine, while still fitting the game, and any individual story moment. It's brilliant.
Like, listen to this shit.
And what about this???
And how about this, which is from the dlc, which i will write about in another review when I'm not exhausted!!
I gotta say, this isn't a review in the way I'd like it to be, cause I'm tired, but fuck me play this game it's amazing and the music and visuals and every piece is just... Oh my God.
I hope you enjoyed reading this delirious mish mash of words I wanted to say about a game I really love.
No joke, 10/10
Would crash into the sun again.
Thanks!!

Ajna Chakra
In the forehead, between the eyebrows, lies the two-petaled lotus, Ajna chakra. It shines like the bright moon, and its two petals vibrate with the sounds ham and ksham. Devi Hakini resides in the center of the Ajna chakra. White as the moon and with a pure mind (shuddha chitta). She has six heads and four arms that hold an hourglass-shaped drum, a skull, a jnana mudra (gesture of knowledge) and a japa mala.
The subtle mind (mana) resides in the Ajna chakra. A Shiva lingam called Itarakhya resides within it. It shines like a thunderbolt and is the abode of realization of supreme knowledge, including the vedas. It is also from here that one perceives the Brahma nadi, which connects the Muladhara to the Sahasrara chakra.
The bija mantra for Ajna chakra is AUM, also known as Pranava. It is said that one should meditate on this bija mantra with a steady mind. One should meditate on the Ajna chakra with devi Hakini, a glowing mind, a shining Shiva lingam, and AUM bija mantra. The meditator can perceive the Brahma nadi if he or she meditates this way with stillness and with his or her gaze turned inward.
By meditating on the Ajna chakra one becomes all-knowing, all-perceiving, a benefactor to all, all-powerful like Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, who are responsible for creation, regulation, and dissolution, respectively.
Between the eyebrows in the Ajna chakra is the soul, which is as bright as the tip of a flame and vibrates with the primordial sound of AUM. Above that is a bright young moon with a bindu (letter of sound ma) from which the unstruck sound of AUM is derived. This bindu shines like the rays of the moon.
Swami Hamsa swaroop maharaj describes an important doorway to the soul in his translation of Sat Chakra Nirupana. By holding the Niralamba mudra, which can be learned only from a guru, and by meditating on the place where the primordial sound of AUM originates, one experiences the light of the soul or highest spirit.
Next, Sat Chakra Nirupana discusses the importance of Ajna chakra at the end of life. One who meditates on the Ajna chakra at the end stage of life and surrenders the prana with devotion between the eyebrows, i.e. at the bindu from where the primordial sound originates, merges with the supreme consciousness.
In the Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 8 Verse 10, Shri Krishna says to Arjuna
prayaanakaale manasaachalena bhaktyaa yukto yogabalena chaiva |
bhruvormadhye praanamaaveshya samyak sa tam param purushamupaiti divyam || 10 ||
At death, with devotion, an unwavering mind, and the power of yoga, he who surrenders the Prana in the middle of the eyebrows, attains that supreme divine person.
Ajna Chakra: The abode of higher knowledge, perception and liberation:

Pls more Raymond headcanons I’m starving 😵
Hooh me too bbg im hungryyy
I'm gonna compile a couple of old hcs in this one, and add some new ones too. a misc hc drop for u ♥♥♥
tysm for sending a request!
Sex/Attraction
sorry this gif is the first thing i think abt when i consider his sexuality lmao 😂😂
some kinks he has AND IS AWARE OF:
hair pulling (receiving) scratching (receiving) biting (giving and receiving) hickies (giving and receiving)
these kinks are UNLOCKABLE and currently REPRESSED:
edging (giving and receiving) overstimulation (giving and receiving) praise (receiving) body worship (giving) pred/prey dynamics (pred) rope (receiving) toys (giving and receiving) olfactophilia (uhh not sure how to describe this in terms or giving/receiving, he likes to snoff lol) voyeurism (voyeur)
He's most attracted to curvy/hourglass body types, especially soft thighs
Prefers a bare face (but can be easily fooled with natural makeup)
Prefers full bush
Lost his virginity the summer before college to a girl he wasn't that into
Best sex he ever had was at a college party sneaking off with a stranger drunk off his ass
If you asked his face what the hottest thing is, he'd say something about soft curves and an eager personality
if you asked his dick, it'd be something closer to consumption. An attraction that could peel him open from the inside and wrest from him his rotten core-- for the purpose of ingesting it ofc-- leaving him purer for having been picked through and so thoroughly enjoyed
Physicality
This one is semi-canon but his thighs are covered in moles/freckles
capable of a nice tan, if his schedule would ever allow it
teeth are crooked from decades of jaw clenching
the body hair situation is kinda silly... he's got tons of hair in some places and looks so naked in others... im talking like bushy pits and balls but like a tiny sprinkle of sad little hairs on his chest and belly lol
His elbows and knees click when fully extended
Love/Friendship
Friendship never came extremely naturally to him but as a young man in the 50's/60's it's not like the expectations were extremely high
In grade school he mostly had friendships of convenience-- boys from his neighborhood/class
College was where he began to really relate to others, connecting with people who had similar experiences with death and grief
David Whitlow was a friend and not just an employee to Raymond (he was killed with a scalpel to the face)
Other friends from his 20's and 30's eventually fell off as he became more withdrawn and involved with "work"
Raymond never had an affair, but his eye did wander especially as his marriage began to fall apart in the early 80's
Despite this, he would absolutely consider Maria to be the person he loved most
Habits/Preferences
Black coffee, Marlboro reds
Has decided to give up drinking
Meditates daily
Tries to eat out once a week, as a treat
HOT hot showers
chronically dehydrated, i s2g getting this man his 8 glasses wouldn't cure him but it would blow his goddamn mind
Terrible sleeper, snores like a chainsaw, nightmares, talks in his sleep, walks in his sleep, has false awakenings, sleep paralysis, insomnia, the works
#yappa answers#Raymond Delver#the mortuary assistant#will i ever stop with the rotten fruit metaphors? nough

Phic Phight Prompt: Clockwork Takes Danny Stargazing
Word Count: 1320
For @jackdaw-spwrite
Summary: When Danny agreed to put effort into his study habits in exchange for some out of this world stargazing, this isn't what he imagined. It's so much better.
"This way."
Danny meant to follow Clockwork and his directions, but when he followed him through one of the many doors in the older ghost's domain he felt himself stop short mid-flight.
Unexpected sights, sounds, and scents flooded in - tall trees with shiny bronze bark and almost clear leaves that rippled like water, thorny bushes that looked wild as they rustled only to fall into and out of almost recognizable shapes, little rivers and ponds splashing with something more orange than blue. The last might be due to the ceiling, or rather, the startling lack of one.
That might be the strangest thing of all because Danny could swear that they were walking further in to Clockwork's maze of a home.
A home that was firmly in the green and purple tinged Ghost Zone.
The ghost zone which didn't have red-orange sunsets like the one lighting the garden and the sky above it.
A quiet thunk of something hollow against a rock drew Danny out of his distraction with only a small, guilty startle. The garden wasn't large enough that he'd lost sight of Clockwork, thankfully, so it was a quick, short flight that brought him back to the cloaked ghost's side.
Growing older in a way that felt pointed, especially when paired with that knowing smile, Clockwork tapped the large round paver that sat below them. It bisected two curved spaces whose complete outline looked like an hourglass with each half filled with a different set of plants.
Danny thought he recognized maybe three of the flowers he saw growing in both and even that was a generous assumption. He wasn't even sure if that thing filling with water until it tipped over before setting back into place with a thunk was even made of bamboo like the one Jazz had in miniature in her room (she claimed it was for meditation, but how something slowly tapping away could help someone concentrate was beyond Danny) - it was electric blue with silvery edges.
"You know, when you promised to take me stargazing this isn't what I imagined." Danny pointed out looking back up at the cloudless and, more importantly, starless sky before raising his brows at Clockwork expectantly. He didn't do all that studying, listening to lectures and letting himself be quizzed on the different leaders of the Infinite Realms for nothing. Clockwork bribed him with some 'out of this world' stargazing and Danny was going to hold him to it.
Though, he had to admit, the garden was pretty cool. He would need to see if he could get some pictures or something for Sam so she didn't interrogate him later for more information.
Well, she'll probably do that either way, but with pictures she might feel generous enough to let him eat and sleep occasionally while grilling him for answers.
The not-bamboo thunked again and Clockwork gave the paver another tap.
"Be sure to stay within the circle."
Because Clockwork was sometimes (frequently) allergic to explaining, that was all the warning Danny received before the colorful garden vanished into inky darkness.
Danny held still, straining his eyes to try and make out the shape of the paver below them. If this was another test instead of a reward he may just scream. A quiet scream, but a scream none the less.
Thankfully, it didn't take long for his eyes to adjust - Clockwork's faint glow along with his own even more muted shine eventually assured him that he hadn't moved. If that was a test, hopefully he passed.
Putting that aside for now Danny looked up and felt his jaw drop because the garden wasn't just in shadow.
It was gone.
In its place was a vast array of stars, the pinpricks of light almost flickering through a bright fog - clearer than any view he's ever seen on Earth. He squinted as he tried to differentiate the brighter lights from the dark, trying to pick out planets and stars that he knew, his brow furrowing as he couldn't quite manage to place any of the clusters he was seeing.
"Where are we?" How far was Clockwork able to take them? What kind of power was this? Could Danny do something like this?
Oh, no, wait. Danny didn't want a power like this because he was sure it would leave him stranded light-years from home without anyone to help him get back. Well, except for Clockwork. The minor reassurance was enough even if the fear lingered a little longer than he'd like in the face of this cosmic beauty.
"Closer to home than you might think." The ghost in question assured him, flickering into his more childlike form before pointing behind Danny. "If you turn around you may find something a bit more familiar."
Spinning in place Danny squinted even harder at the distant stars as clouds of gas and dust shifted slowly between him and them.
Except the clouds weren't moving slowly anymore. As he watched they started moving faster and faster, going from indistinct fog to thicker streams and threads then swirling into knots until an indistinct shape started to appear. Around them distant stars winked, flickered, and died while others newly sparked into being.
Light grew at the center of the undulating clouds, particles moving inwards before bursting out again and again.
"No way." All the stars around them paled in comparison to what he now suspected was happening. Danny didn't even realize he was drifting forward until a light hand landed on his shoulder.
"We are currently in two times while also being in neither." Clockwork informed him, unoffended by the way Danny couldn't look away from the star - the earth's star - his star - the Sun - as it formed. "I do not want to test which one you would find yourself in if you left."
One hand moving to cover Clockwork's, Danny couldn't find the words to tell him that leaving was the last thing he wanted to do right now. How he was glad his eyeballs couldn't dry out so he didn't have to blink, that he didn't have to worry about oxygen or radiation, that this might be the first time he was truly happy he got in that lab accident because without it he would never get a chance to see this.
Because Danny loved the stars, the light they provided, the life they could support, the hope they could bring. He loved every one of them.
And no other star ever loved him back more than this one, Danny was sure of it.
His vision blurred and he blinked away the water gathering there as he tightened his grip on those increasingly knobby fingers.
"Thank you."
That ghostly hand was cold, but the gentle squeeze Clockwork gave him in response was warm and fond.
"Worth memorizing the whole lineage of Royal Roses?"
Danny barked out a laugh at the now distant frustration he'd felt while going through fourteen generations of people who were minor players in the Ghost Zone at best.
"Absolutely." Danny tried to devote at least the same amount of attention to memorizing the play of light on the gasses and rocks around them. "Though I'm not sure how you'll ever top this as far as bribes go."
Clockwork hummed.
"There are plenty more stars to gaze upon." Something thunked, not his staff but the not-bamboo thing, reminding Danny just how accessible the stars might be when they were visible like this from Clockwork's garden. Smugly, Clockwork continued, "And when you get bored of stars, there's always planets."
Danny's scoff at the thought of being 'bored of stars' cut off as he whipped around to see if Clockwork was joking. Judging by the tilt of his head he wasn't and, yeah, alright. Turning back to stare at his favorite star once again, Danny resigned himself to being Clockwork's best student.
He'd do a lot to see something like this again.

Backstory
Note: I'm going to refer to Zalani as her nickname to make the writing process faster and to keep the form of insanity I have for an attention span at bay.
Z was born in a small town in Ohio and grew up in a happy childhood. She was a very quiet but kind girl.
Z (😀+👋): *Chalk drawing on the sidewalk* *Wave's to the group of kids walking by and staring at me*
Group of kids (🤭+🚶): *Only snickers and walks away*
Z (😐+😔): *Just goes back to chalk drawing*
she didn't have many friends because she was seen as the weird kid which they weren't wrong.
(Montage of everything that's written below)
But she always got along with my teachers and everybody she met. Even though it was sometimes lonely, Z was happy with her life. I had a nice home and an amazing family. Her life was perfect. Until…
(Knock on door)
Woman: *Opens the door revealing two men in suits on the other side*
Man in suit 1 (😐+👨💼): Darlene Smith?
My Mom (😕): Yes?
Man in suit 1 (😐+👨💼): *Holds up ID* RDA.
Z (😕+😐): *Watching TV and twists towards them*
An hour later…
Z (😕): *Peeking and listening through my bedroom door*
When Z turned five she was sought out by the RDA for a new “program” where “special” children like me can learn and do child-friendly experiences with activities. her parents would have refused if it wasn't for the fact that Dr. Grace Augustine, her cousin, left a “personal recommendation” for her which they didn't fully believe. Along with offering a generous amount of money, it would help her with her future education. After discussing it for a while and getting her “very own” thoughts on the matter they accepted the offer. However, when Z arrived at the program's location…
Medic (💉): *Preps needle that's filled an unknown liquid*
Z (😕): What is that?
Medic (😕-😉): Hm? Oh, it's just a vaccine update, nothing to worry about.
They gave her an injection saying It was a vaccine update right before bed. But…
Z (😴-😧+😨-😕+😨): *Awakes with a gasp* *Looks around realizing she wasn't where she was before she went to sleep*
She woke up in a new place inside of a giant tube filled with liquid connected to wires and wearing an oxygen mask and hospital gown. After one freak out full of fear and confusion later. Z met with a man named John Mercer who explained that she was selected to be the first human subject in a new project for The Ambassador Program and said that she would return home once the project was over. After that Z was poked, prodded, and went through tests galore. It was painful with a capital P but the only thing that kept her going was hoping that one day he was going to go back home. They did let her do calls with her parents from time to time and sometimes even video called her cousin Grace which was a bit shocking and awkward at first but it was still nice to talk to somebody somewhat face to face. It's been almost three months since then. Z was now sitting in a truck heading towards the place where the other subjects and teammates are staying and being trained. All she can do now is wait and see what the future has in store.
After note: *Insert angelic behold music here* She's finally done! Before anyone asks? She has a more human anatomy because it was the only reference sheet base I had and I can't freehand anatomy for sh*t! I'll do a more anatomy accurate full body art piece later down the line. Yes the backstory goes into the plot of Frontiers of Pandora because that's the only gap in the timeline I could think of to place her into the avatar franchise lore. If there were any others I could've used? Tell me in the comments along with your thoughts on the whole thing. I love to hear or read criticism from you guys. This is where I'm going to stop on her lore for now. Hell! I might even take DM requests for certain details you want to know. Tell me in the comments 😉😘😉

Dev diaries - Symbolism of Laughing Death/Danse macabre in 'Heroes Of Oblivion'
(This is a part of game dev diaries about the development of my sci-fi/supernatural visual novel 'Heroes of Oblivion' which is out now on itch.io. Some mild spoilers below.)
'Heroes Of Oblivion' features death symbolism in many forms.
And for a good reason. Since this game is based on the most vague, indistinct, most universally European medieval mythology, there is nothing truly more 'European' than death symbolism. I have seen it in baroque Spanish paintings. 20th century German politicial cartoons. 19th century English illustrations.
The same symbolism permeates both catholic and protestant culture, making it truly universal and making one think - what is Europe? Isn't it a commonality based on the Plague (the times when Death symbolism, while more ancient than it, became so ever-present?).
Symbolism of Death is also rooted in Christianity overall, of course - the cross itself is a morbid symbol of torture, after all, and all Biblical figures remind people of their purpose. However, ancient Biblical imagery still didn't feature death.
It is something different.
In the end, it can be something more related to Samhain/Halloween - a celtic holiday of honoring the dead/ancestors which was repurposed by Christians as 'All Saints day'.
This theory does hold some weight since celtic tribes lived almost everywhere in Europe - in Spain, in Germany, in France, in Italy, in England, obviously, and, interestingly, death symbolism is less present in the places where celtic influence was less prominent (Scandinavia, for example. Their culture was often more morbid on the whole, so, I guess, the bitter irony, contrast between joy and sorrow, life and death was lost on them in those dark, wintery landscapes. Or they just weren't celtic enough to understand. Who knows.)
Below, I will feature all the motifs in the game that I could find.
First of all, there's 'Danse Macabre'.
Since the late Medieval times, the image of dancing skeletons, pulling people of various, often 'prestigious' social positions (priests, kings, wealthy merchants, generals, etc) into their dance symbolized the great equalizer of death.
In this kind of dance, Death leads all of these rich people to the same truth of their lives. Parallels with the story of 'Heroes' are easily seen here.
Second is a motif of a skull as a meditation piece that reminds one of their purpose and fleeting nature of life. It often features a skull as a decoration on the desk or a wistful, melancholic Skeleton (with a hourglass) and is called 'Vanitas' motive. This motive, I guess, is special and specific to Oblivion/Alex himself. Notice the books/writing utensils on the first painting - I think those who played the game can easily guess how they relate to Alex's fate.
I also think that both 'Vanitas' and 'Danse Macabre' type skeletons feature heavily in Doloris decorative statues.
(Pictured above: Vanitas by Pieter Claesz (c.1630) and Vanitas by Hans Holbein)
I must also say that there is also accidental symbolism, which I like. 'Memento mori', a popular phrase related to 'Vanitas' motive, means 'Remember death'. Believe it or not, Oblivion's name wasn't related to it. This contrast of remembering and forgetting, of course, takes the irony to another level. I guess Medieval/Latin/Greek symbolism is so intertwined you can get something right even accidentally. (However I did intentionally contrast Hypnos and Thanatos but it's curious how even in 'Memento mori' unintentionally Oblivion and Mort meet once again. It was truly meant to be.)
The third motive, albeit not heavily featured (or featured everywhere, actually) is 'Et in Arcadia Ego', 'I am in Arcadia too', meaning that Death is present even in a Paradise, even in a Utopia.
(Guercino - "Et in Arcadia ego")
But what about the 'Laughing Death'? The Dead Jester?
Of course, I have seen him before. But I wanted to check how prominent of a symbol it was. The results exceeded my boldest expectations.
(Felicien Victor Joseph Rops, c. 1850)
A natural extension of 'Danse Macabre', Dead Jester takes it one step further. A laughing Death, Death who mocks the chaos of life.
It is, strangely, also a popular motif, in both Medieval times and relative modernity.
(Death as a Jester, Charles Bennett, 1860. Creepy English Dead Jester.)
(La Mort au Bouffon; Reponse du Bouffon, 1830. Philosophizing French Dead Jester.)
(Hans Holbein, The Dance of Death, the Queen. 1526-7. Angrily preaching German Dead Jester. Truly, there is no escape from Mort/Novak in any European land.)
And another one, just because I like the pathos of the entrance:
(Dead Jester on the page of the book on London. Can it be that all cities are Doloris? There is no end to the folly!)
I hope you liked this episode of the dev diaries and it made you interested in playing the game that features all this symbolism.
A big 'Thank you' goes to this blog for http://hauntedohiobooks.com/grim-and-grewsome/12391/ for featuring all these Jesters that made my head spin and my skin have goosebumps.

Akatosh Quick Start Guide
A guide for beginning with Akatosh, intended to help you begin your practice, but not to serve as the only information you use.
Keep in mind most of this post is UPG versus just based on the fictional canon, based on my personal experiences with this entity. It may directly contrast fictional canon and the experiences of others.
(Banners are by saradika-graphics.)
AKATOSH
ah-kah-tosh aka. Auri-El ◦ Alkosh ◦ Bormahu ◦ Multitude ore-ee-ehl ◦ all-kosh (like gosh) ◦ bore-ma-hoo prns. he domain. The Dragon’s Rest & The Spilled Sands date. January 08th
Akatosh is the Chief God of the Nine Divines, and is the main God one might worship amongst them. He deeply encourages the working with the other Nine Divines, though will not punish if one doesn’t.
He is the Dragon God, Dragon of Time, and within the lore the Father of the Empire and the Imperial Family. He stands as a grand and regal God, who expects well to be worshiped properly and deeply. He expects people to be active in their worship of Him, and expects them to be devout should they choose His path.
Akatosh is a kind God, brave and fierce. He is an honorable person, who treats all with respect as long as they have earned it. He is protective like a loving father, who looks out for His children, but at the same, doesn’t reject letting them learn the hard way.
Within Aldmeri tradition, Auri-El is King of the Aldmer. He stands as the chief deity of most Aldmeri pantheons. He is the soul of Anui-El, who is the soul of Anu the Everything, and it is said time began with his existence.
He is sometimes depicted as or alongside a great Eagle.
Within Khajiiti tradition, Alkosh is a fearsome dragon, swift and graceful, but powerful and clever, radiant as the sun, which the Khajiiti say is “just a real big cat”. He is said to be at once the weaver of the tapestry of time, and the incarnation of the tapestry itself; that the threads that comprise it unspool from the tip of his tail, and should the thread end, there will be nothing.
Alkosh is sometimes depicted as a reclining cat with His mouth wide open.

Worship the Nine, do your duty, and heed the commands of the saints and priests. Again, learn well from the Nine Divines. As well, learn well from other followers of the faith.

🝊 identity . . .
He is a kind, but very strict God. It is hard to ignore Him, and He will expect much of any follower. He often speaks to followers and makes it very clear what He expects or desires them to do – while you don’t have to do it, it is expected to explain to Him as to why, which He will take, and often suggest an alternative. He is supportive, caring, and much like a Father to followers – One that will do His best for them, one who truly loves his Children. He is there for followers to cry to, to ask for help, and He will always do His best to provide the help that they need, even if they needn’t ask.
Akatosh is an older looking man, often seen with a long, billowing white beard. His hair is long and well groomed, also white to represent His age. He often appears before followers wearing robes or toga-like clothes, though will sometimes sport other, equally fancy outfits like suits, though rare.
His voice is loud and commanding, spoken stern and strong with obvious thought behind every word. It is of a deeper tone, and does not hold malice or contempt, even when He is angry or frustrated.
☘ aspects . . .
. . . The Dragon ]
As implied, the main Dragon form and version of Akatosh.
. . . The Wise King ]
The more humanoid version of Akatosh.
. . . Auri-El / Aldmeri ]
Auri-El, the King of the Aldmer, is the Aldmeri/Altmer version of Akatosh.
It is said that all Altmer and Bosmer are descendants of Auri-El. Some depict Him as an eagle, though others depict Him as a great dragon alongside an eagle.
. . . Alkosh / Khajiiti ]
Alkosh, the Dragon King of Cats, is the Khajiiti version of Akatosh. He is a very prominent deity, being where time itself comes from.
☉ domain . . .
Akatosh’s domain is The Dragon’s Rest, a peaceful land full of blue soaring skies and tall mountains, littered with many a tree.
Akatosh mainly resides in this grand palace, with large towers fit for Him to clamor onto and perch upon to watch over His astral kingdom.
It is “open to the public” so to speak, so followers are welcome to attempt to astral project there, as long as they’re safe doing so.
Alkosh is said to have His own domain, the Spilled Sand. It’s an endless expanse of sand, interspersed with an oasis of golden trees, and a colossal slumbering golden dragon with scales of pure gold.
The realm isn’t so much a place, but rather “a story that has and will be told time and time again” and “myth made manifest”. It’s said to exist at once within and outside the tapestry of time, beyond even the Sands Behind the Stars.
⛮ working with . . .
Akatosh very much expects to be worshiped and seen as a grand and high being, seen as an Emperor and revered highly. He wants to be spoken of highly and, within prayer, be talked up high and strong. He adores being pampered and treated wonderfully.
He expects followers to endure hardships, though He does support them all the way through. He simply expects you to do your best when hardship occurs, and to make it out alive.
To truly believe in Akatosh is to never be defeated, conquered, or subdued.
Akatosh is a very giving God, though He believes that you must earn His gifts through the act of worship, offerings, and devotionals. Should He give upon you, you are expected to give back to Him. He is very happy to give, though, and doesn’t always expect proportional gifts back.
However, should Akatosh be upset or slighted, He can become quite fierce. He isn’t so much prone to punishing followers, but He will scold quite heavily, even in ways that might be felt as punishment. One should, if they slighted Him, provide a large offering with a prayer of apology for what they’ve done to upset Him.
Things that slight Akatosh:
disobeying His commandments
disobeying Him with no rhyme or reason note. just explain to Him Why you’re not keen on listening to Him on something
denying yourself your honor (lesser slight)
not learning about the Nine note. not a “just not learning” thing, it’s a “actively trying to not learn” thing
dropping His worship entirely or for very long periods forgiven immediately if you’re going through hard times
abuse of or mistreatment of dragons
honoring world leaders as perfect/similar, esp if above the Gods mostly don’t see them as perfect or necessarily good, don’t worship your world leaders. hard to explain so hopefully this makes sense! /lh
Akatosh has the Akatosh Chantry, a religious order devoted to worshiping and glorifying Him, calling Him the “Great Dragon”.
The Khajiiti had the Pride of Alkosh, an order of Khajiiti warriors dedicated to Alkosh, comprised of the Forgotten Manes, would be Manes who were born under the eclipse.
Alkosh accepts people from our world who wish to join the Pride, but doesn’t necessarily encourage it. If one still wants to join it, He requires you to be willing to fight and battle for the greater good, even if just through magic activism and nothing else.
⚜ holidays & festivals . . .
. . . January 08 ]
This day serves as both a Summoning Day and a day to honor Akatosh. It’s a perfect day to dedicate to Him and speak with Him consistently and often, leaving His favorite offerings upon Him.
My preferred ritual is to wake up at Dawn, and pray to Akatosh to greet the day, meditating on His grandeur and presence. I speak to Him and interact with Him throughout the day, preparing an offering to be ready at Dusk, which I provide to Him alongside dinner.
♡ prayers . . .
⛤ 01 . . . Grandest Akatosh! Father of Dragons, of Time! In this moment, I revere You! I adore You, I welcome You, I seek You! Blessed be, blessed be, blessed be! I welcome the passage of time, with all that it brings, I avoid stagnation, and I honor Your legitimacy! I complete my duty, and I hold to my honor, and I revere You, Great Akatosh!

⛼ history . . .
Much of this is essentially directly lifted / paraphrased from UESP. Please support UESP.
. . . mythos ]
( ALDMERI TRADITION )
Within the Altmer belief traditions, existence began with Anu the Everything, who created Anui-El, seeking to know Himself – Who then, in his self-reflection, created Sithis and the sum of all limitation, which created Aurbis, chaos. The Aspects of Aurbis asked Anu for a schedule they could follow to exist outside perfect knowledge. In response, Anu created Auri-El (aka Akatosh), allowing the Aurbic aspects to understand themselves and take names.
One aspect was Lorkhan, who was more a limit than a nature, wandering Aurbis planting new ideas of restriction and outlined and plan to create a new world where all could self-reflect. One of them was Auri-El, swayed by the promise of becoming King of this new world. However, this was a great mistake, as Lorkhan had tricked them all by creating a world of nothing but limitation. This was Auri-El’s only known moment of weakness, the Sundering, which stopped the elves from the spirit worlds of eternity.
To make up for His error, Auri-El led the original Aldmer against the armies of Lorkhan in mythic times, vanquishing him and establishing the first kingdoms of the Aldmer, Atmor and Old Ehlnofey.
( KHAJIITI TRADITION )
Within the Khajiiti belief tradition, Alkosh is said to have appeared after the disappearance of Ahka and took over the role of the First Cat, inheriting rule over the myriad kingdoms of Akha along the Many Paths. But while he ruled over the children of Akha, he was soon overthrown and his body scattered on the West Wind. It was Khenarthi who flew along the Many Paths and put Alkosh back together, and now they both safeguard the Many Paths from the wayward children of Akha from his unions with the Winged Serpent of the East, the Dune Queen of the West, and the Mother Mammoth of the North.
It’s said Alkosh repelled an early Aldmeri pogrom of Pelinal Whitestrake during mythic times by descending from the heavens as a shooting star and shouting the invader off the summit of Sunspire and out of Elsweyr, only leaving behind a “wound” in the sky.
They believe the Dragon Break phenomenon occurs when Alkosh has been broken, quite literally – That He has been attacked by spirits, torn apart, and scattered.
( GENERAL GAME INFORMATION )
As a blessing to the Septim bloodline, Akatosh gave them Divine Blood, letting them rule Tamriel as rightful emperors and empresses.
When the Mythic Dawn came to bring Mehrunes Dagon to Nirn, Akatosh let Martin Septim become His avatar to defeat Mehrunes Dagon once and for all.
𝌁 other vettable information . . .
When meditating on His presence and name, Akatosh brings:
visions of: grand golden dragons • tall pine trees • perennial flowers • hourglasses
smells of: pine needles
sounds of: sand falling in an hourglass
feelings of: heat, warmth
❡ notes . . .
I heavily suggest getting a dragon statue(tte) to represent Akatosh if He’s one of your main gods.
Despite the rulership of obedience, Akatosh does not expect you to just roll over and permit wrongships. Choose to listen only when it truly serves you well. Politely question what doesn’t serve you or what seems foolish.
Akatosh expects you to endure hardship and survive it – But He will all the same be there for you through and beyond it. You are not alone.

hi, i really love your work and i want a free reading,
so i wanna know what method i shd use to enter void state within a week? what method my future successful would have used to enter the void state?
Free Psychic Reading By Egyptian Sand! (PAID READINGS ARE ALSO OPENED!) 🌟✨
As I observe the sand, three distinct patterns emerge, each guiding you towards entering the void state within a week.
The first shape is a spiral 🌀. This suggests that you should focus on a method of deep repetition, such as mantra meditation or breathwork. Repeating a mantra or focusing on your breathing in a rhythmic, cyclical way will help you spiral into the void. It encourages you to create a flow that removes distractions and clears your mind.
The second shape is a key 🗝️. This indicates that visualization techniques are crucial. Picture yourself unlocking the door to the void with a key in your mind. Imagine the space beyond, where your thoughts dissolve into stillness. Visualization will help bridge the gap between your conscious and subconscious mind, opening the gateway to the void.
The third shape resembles an hourglass ⏳. This symbol tells you that patience and timing are essential. Don't rush or force the process. Spend 10–15 minutes each day practicing focused meditation techniques, allowing the void to reveal itself naturally.
As for your future successful self, they likely used a similar method—a combination of focused breathing, visualization, and consistency, relying on their inner patience and a gradual approach to step into the void state with ease.
In summary, the spiral 🌀 suggests repetition, the key 🗝️ points to visualization, and the hourglass ⏳ reminds you to be patient and consistent.
