Various Winx characters and their opinion on gossip:

Aisha isn’t fond of it. She likes to know what’s going on but really doesn’t like the whole “talking about someone behind their back” aspect, because that’s one of her own fears.

Stella Loves gossip. One of her favourite things to do is gossip. It’s not usually out of any kind of malicious intent, though (even if sometimes she can veer in that direction if she particularly dislikes someone), and she tends to talk people up. She has a philosophy of never saying anything behind someone’s back that she wouldn’t say to their face (insults included).

Bloom doesn’t partake herself, but sure does listen in if someone else is gossiping. Not much to say other than the fact that she lurks in the library a lot so if you’re spilling secrets, that’s the worst place to do it because she has a habit of stumbling across private conversations.

Linphea has a pretty big gossip culture, so Flora participates heavily and does not see it as a bad thing in the slightest. Just another fact of life.

Sky hates gossip, purely because if he’s around, it’s about him. An unfortunate part about being a handsome Prince.

Brandon is usually more of a listener when it comes to gossip, though if Stella’s around he’ll participate fully.

Helia absolutely despises gossip, as does Riven. It’s an opinion they’ve both shared since they were young, however, in the past, they would have occasionally gossiped with each other in between training.

Roxy isn’t too big on it and tends to just ignore it if she hears someone gossiping.

Stormy couldn’t give less of a fuck about gossip. She doesn’t care at all and thinks people who gossip have nothing better to be doing.

Icy is neutral towards gossip, though sometimes engages in it and encourages Darcy to engage in it because it can sometimes reveal things of benefit.

Mirta finds gossip very uncomfortable. She’s had too many bad experiences with it to be okay with it.

Wizgiz knows everything about everyone. That’s why his hat’s so big. It’s full of secrets.

Griffin and Faragonda don’t like to gossip unless it’s with each other over a cup of whatever magical tea they have in Magix.

Well it's been about two months so I suppose I need to post an update about why I fell off tumblr and pretty much all socmed.

(warning: family member death, terminal illness, animal illness)

On August 1st my husband, Travis, went to see his PCP about these odd hearing issues he'd been having with certain sounds. The dr., after hearing his symptoms and learning about other issues that had happened earlier on decided to do a CT scan to see if it would turn up anything.

And it did: the scan revealed a tumor had begun to grow in his left occipital lobe. After that everything was a series of revelations one worse after the other. We went to the ER, had more scans done, and that tumor in his brain was a result of metastatic colon cancer. He has lesions in his lungs, liver, and a significant primary tumor in his sigmoid colon.

I'm not going to go into the terrible nitty gritty of what all that entailed except overnight our lives came crashing down. Since then he has had surgery + gamma knife radiation treatment to deal with the brain tumors (he also a much smaller other lesion too besides the bigger one, but it did not need physical removal) and has recovered very well from it. We have been running between doctor visits, doing blood work, chemo, having home health visits and trying to keep our wits while letting the relevant people know what has been happening.

Right now I am his primary caregiver and staying busy looking over him as he follows through on his current chemo regimen of infusions every 2 weeks plus an infusion pump he takes home with him for 48 hrs post-infusion day. He's about to have his 3rd infusion and so far he's handling it as well as expected for a 1st line treatment plan. Further surgery is not planned but it's not off the table, we just need to see how these drugs are handling his cancer and go from there.

And as if this wasn't awful enough between all of this happening my mother had to go to the hospital for similar gallbladder issues that I had a few years ago, and then my uncle (my father's twin brother) suddenly passed away and none of us could go to the funeral in Greece. Toasty Marshmallow, our wonderful and precious cat, has also started to have some balance issues with his back legs and we're still trying to find out why; he has a vet appointment for some more labs and x-rays later this week. ALL of this happened within the span of a month. Needless to say, I have been having A Time of It. Travis was not given a great prognosis, as is typical of stage IV cancer, but we are trying to remain optimistic yet realistic. We will do what we can and what we must to keep him happy and as healthy as possible, for as long as we can.

Now that we've gotten into some semblance of a routine with what has happened I think I can finally breathe a little and get back into something to get my mind off the impending everything that is my life now. I might even play XIV again and pick up where I left off lol.

Guys, life as you know it can end in an instant. Go hug your fam, your pet, and if not that take a moment to breath and be thankful. Nothing is forever, but enjoy it while it's there.

Ace Attorney Headcanons - Favorite Kind of Movies

It's been a while since I posted oops- since I don't have any art rn have another silly headcanons post!

Apollo: Likes action movies with cheesy plots and happy endings. A little embarrassed by his own unsophisticated taste, but it doesn't stop him from vouching for his favorites at movie night

Athena: She is very particular about movies, mainly because she's very sensitive to them and she will get overly invested and upset by the content. Can't handle suspense, gore or tearjerkers. She likes comedies.

Trucy: Simply doesn't have the attention span for a movie. She will keep getting up to do other things for like the first 20 minutes and then she just won't come back

Klavier: Is into ✨️CINEMA✨️ you know but is perfectly happy to watch goofy car chases with Apollo as long as they can also watch. Idek what is a good film. Citizen Kane?

Sebastian likes cartoons and won't be judged for it. Full on looney toons ass

Kay: She likes anything exciting, particularly action/adventure, spy movies, or horror. She likes mysteries but they can't be too slow burn or she loses interest and starts complaining "WHENS SOMEONE GONNA DIE"

Edgeworth: Thinks movies are a waste of time unless they're about the Steel Samurai, during which he pays full attention and gets very engaged. Other than that though, he is always pulling out pads of paper and case files and insisting he's watching while he starts a whole ass project

Nahyuta: Similarly, Nahyuta has to convince himself that the movie is going to be educational in order to justify watching it. But the thing is that it's actually very easy for him to do that so Rayfa will be like "hey wanna watch pitch perfect 2" and Nahyuta will be like "yes this will be ummm this will be very helpful in gaining an understanding of western show culture and femininity"

Rayfa: As we know, she likes cartoons like the Plumed Punisher but would never admit it to anyone EVER. She watches them PRIVATELY in her room and turns off the TV when anyone comes within 10 metres of the door. I also imagine that she and Pearl watch chick flicks together as older teens on their sleepovers

Last but not least, Simon Blackquill, with a special word for word quote from my private hc notes at 4:30 AM:

"simon is a big snob who will watch movies and go 'tch.' at every other scene because that's not how it works in real life, when i was in the clink my cellmate got impaled on a straw and shit himself from the pain, these films shy away from the unpleasant reality ho ho ho. however he really likes arsenic and old lace"

I would also add now that he likes old time samurai movies a lot and likes to pause and point out what parts are accurate and what parts are not
