after all those years memorizing social scripts to avoid raising eyebrows...the sheer RELIEF of being able to log onto hellsite.com and type shit like "i want to chew through your sternum, platonically" and have strangers just nod like yeah same 👍

the whole 'nobody would miss me if i were gone' line of reasoning is so completely and mindblowingly false, it's almost laughable if you take a couple steps back. there's a lady at work who has been there for maybe two or three weeks and has only talked to me a handful of times, ask where the necklace i usually wear went. another person asked where i was cause i wasn't scheduled for about a week. i regularly think of friends who have deactivated their accounts or who i've lost contact with and what id tell them. i still think about people i haven't talked to for years even though i didn't know them well. people still think about you even if you're a passing specter on the street. and that's not even holding a candle to how much the people who are personally involved in your life care. people do notice and care. all the time. it might be hard to see it or remember it but people do care. ily.

I hc Daisy called Guest, “TT” because calling him Guest in public got the attention of ALL the Guests around them, so she wanted a way for it to just be him. And obv 1337 can be a mouthful, especially having to say it a lot. Plus TT was a special nickname, and eventually Matt joined in on it, and sometimes, when sitting on his bed in between rounds, Guest will stare at the ceiling and wonder how both of them are doing while trying not to cry because he just misses them so much.

ALSO, here’s some angst, sometimes the Spectre/Specter (idk the proper spelling of its name fnsnbd) will reach out and give Daisy a little flash of one of Guest’s rounds of the day >:]

^ The Spectre/Specter will then go on to give Guest the same exact nightmare, at the same time, so both their reactions (Guest in Daisy’s dream, and Daisy in Guest’s dream) are genuine. They’re both in the same nightmare and don’t even realize.

It also sometimes gives Guest good dreams where he’s with his wife again cuddled up in bed (he actually is) and those day Guest wakes up incredibly happy but it’s bittersweet. Daisy, meanwhile, can see the disturbance in the sheets from him, and she remembers the feeling of an arm wrapped around her, pulling her into a hug, but she’s never awake in time to see them. She just reaches out, grabs her husbands dog tags, and cries for a bit.

That was a chunky one and I hope those make sense! Ehe :]
