sorry for not doing this right away! i was working on a gift piece that had unexpected setbacks, and a zine piece that had the same setbacks lol. but, i got here eventually! i had so much fun writing this! my fav with one of my fav christmas activities. i am awful at wrapping presents, but i still love doing it

prompt 1 w/ satan

While it had felt like you had so much time before Christmas, it was right around the corner now. While you had most of your presents ready for everyone, you hadn't wrapped anything yet. It was something you thought you enjoyed, because it was something you always looked forward to, but in the moment, you'd rather be doing anything else.

Satan was better than you, but that wasn't saying much, honestly. He was decent, but anything would look good next to your giant mess of tape and paper. When he invited you over to wrap presents together, you jumped on the opportunity. Maybe he might be able to give you some tips.

When you snuck into his room, arms full of presents for the rest of his brothers, Satan was ready with all the supplies you'd need.

"Hey, Mc." Satan set down the book he'd been leafing through.

"I was very careful coming here. I don't think anybody followed me." You set down everything with a dramatic huff.

"I'll lock the door, just in case." Satan got up to do just that. Despite his reputation, his brothers still had a nasty habit of barging into a room without knocking. This had led to many awkward situations, but they showed no sign of stopping. The lock might not stop them, but at least you'd get a brief warning.

"I don't know if you've seen presents wrapped by me before, but I'm not great at it." You picked through the stack, and selected a sealed box of demonus for Lucifer to start with. You figured the shape would be simple enough to start with.

"I have plenty of times. It's like you've forgotten about birthdays." Satan referenced his own birthday, which hadn't been all that long ago.

"Oh, yeah. Right." You muttered, scratching your head. While you tried to opt for a bag as much as possible, you enjoyed wrapping presents. Sometimes, you just couldn't help it, and everyone knew exactly which present was from you without checking tags.

You watched as he drew from his own pile of presents, and started with enough paper to cover the entire the present on both sides. You followed suit, but hesitated to cut the length of paper off. This was one of the many steps where something could go wrong. When Satan noticed your pause, he set down the tape he was holding.

"Do you need help?" He asked.

"Usually, I would say yes, but I know that even if I did say yes, something would still go wrong." It was hard to deny just how bad you were at present wrapping.

"Love, you know I'd still say yes, no matter what. If I can help, I will." Satan lent over, and showed you exactly how he did it, including all the tricks he used. It was heartwarming how he wanted to help even though you felt he was wasting his time. You were easily the Solomon of present wrapping, but under his careful guidance, you were able to get that one present wrapped semi-successfully. It was much better than it would've been on your own, but in the time it took you to do one, Satan probably could've done four.

It was a small win, but you took it. Satan grimaced one he saw you label the present for Lucifer, but celebrate with you anyways.

"Has anyone ever told you that you're a saint?" You held the freshly wrapped present in your hands, admiring your work. You'd used significantly less tape than you usually would've, and it looked much closer to what Satan's handiwork would look like.

"No, dear. My name is Satan." He looked as if he was about to burst out laughing.

"Well, I'll be the first. You're a saint." You practically tackled him in a hug.

"You've been my first for many things, so it's only fitting you're the first to call me something so ridiculous." Despite the levity in his voice, you knew there was something to what he was saying. You began to pepper his face with kisses. "We still have so many presents to wrap." Satan mentioned the task at hand, but didn't protest to your affections. He basked in the attention.

"We have all afternoon." You mentioned that you'd set aside lots of time. Granted, this had been with the intention of giving yourself time, but you probably had at least ten minutes to spare.

"I'm not one to argue with logic." Despite the paper-thin reasoning, he gave in, because it was you. "If you really need it, I can wrap the rest of your presents for you." Satan gave you a kiss on the forehead.

"Sounds good. Now, put down the tape so I can hug you better!"

How Not To Be Boring by fourleggedfish - incomplete/abandoned, 497k, Wilson-POV, AU from around mid-s5. if u like whump (which i absolutely do) u will probably like this fic. if u are squicked out by sex, u will hate it bc these guys bang 24/7. this fic had me pacing, glued to my phone, sick to my stomach, crying (several times), and obliterated my sleep schedule. i can’t rec it highly enough. every chapters includes appropriate content warnings, but some major themes that appear throughout are character death (not of main characters), the aftermath of severe child abuse, and mental illness. if any of these topics are a trigger for you, please don’t read this work.

Forsake Me Here by MonsterBoyf - complete, 8k, Wilson-POV, ambiguous setting. Wilson has intrusive thoughts about mutilating House. He tries to cope. features a lot of very graphic imagery and does an excellent but extremely accurate job of portraying an OCD-spiral that could be triggering to people. i LOVE this fic i think about it so so much.

An Inconvenient Truth by anathaema - complete, 15k, House-POV, ambiguous setting. contains the quote “You’re the suicide bomber of revelations” and is one of the funniest things i’ve ever read. plus the way in which wilson’s sexuality in this fic is handled is honestly so realistic and entertaining. HIGHLY recc this to absolutely everyone who enjoys hilson

the more it took away by scribespirare - oneshot, 10k, House-POV, ambiguous setting. Omega!House has his first heat since presenting. Alpha!Wilson helps him through it. I LOVE OMEGAVERSE AND I LOVE FUCK OR DIE AND I LOVE THE WAY THIS FIC HANDLES THIS IS JUST GRAHHHH. If u don’t enjoy omegaverse u won’t like this but i can’t make a house fic rec list and NOT include this one

Aftershocks by black_cigarette - series, around 125k in total, various POV’s, set sometime post-Tritter arc. this fic IS gen, but honestly, i didn’t know that going in and didn’t realize it wasn’t a slash fic until the very end. tldr is that wilson is brutally assaulted because house has been gambling with some unsavory people, and house helps him deal with the aftermath. this fic does not pull punches. its is extremely graphic and everything wilson goes through is described in detail. it is a messy story about recovering from brutal trauma and everything that entails. DISCLAIMER: there are sequel(s) to this series available on the author’s livejournal, but i haven’t read them and can’t speak to anything they discuss.

WOOOOOOOO unrelated to the ask/post but yesterday i made decorated christmas cookies. and iced them for the first time and!! they may not be the prettiest, but theyre so yummy and you know what! im still proud RAAAAAAAH!! not giving any reason as to why theres a kiss cam so the readers can have their own takes and ideas for the scenario (and also admin was stumped SOBS)

CAINE:

honestly hes probably the one doing the kiss cam and the one angling it, if not its bubble... regardless, i think he would have a hand in it landing on the two of you... perhaps even rushing to your side just a second before the cam turns your way. this was all a ploy! raaah! probably presents his cheek to you in the most comical way, like hes leaning towards you and folding his hands together and turning his head off to the side... is absolutely ecstatic when you humor him and give him a quick peck. probably releases a bunch of confetti and sparkles even though this whole thing was likely orchestrated by him. fuckin loser/j

POMNI:

probably freezes when she sees that the cam landed on the two of you. gives you the fattest side eye as if to silently ask if you want to go through with kissing in front of everyone, being broadcasted and all.... either shes stuck frozen and youre going to have to initiate; or shes going to give you the quickest cheek kiss known the man before either of you can even fully process whats going on... though pomni does strike me as the type to want to respect her privacy....

RAGATHA:

also the type to want to respect their privacy, probably gives a quick reprimand to anyone who tries to pressure her into committing to the bit (cough cough jax, who is likely joking but feeding into it nonetheless)... she probably looks at the cam and gently shakes her head; perhaps even putting her hands up in a funky surrender and with a small nervous smile on her head. like if it werent being broadcasted on a huge screen they would be fine with giving you a kiss on the cheek or forehead in front of a few people, buuuut... thats not exactly whats going on here...

JAX:

honestly i think jax's first instinct would be to do something inappropriate the second he sees thats hes on the cam, just to mess with caine. doesnt even cross his mind at first to say or do anything with you... and perhaps he even wastes his opportunity to lightly embarrass you since caine probably rips the camera off of him due to his actions.... but on the chance he decides to do something with you before doing something else, he probably loudly exclaims that he doesnt know you or something similar to what you said in the ask!

KINGER:

freezes for a split moment before sheepishly turning towards you and asking for permission. while i do think kinger would enjoy privacy, he doesnt really see anything controversial in kissing his partner; since its not exactly wild or inappropriate plus how can he turn up a chance to get some affection? probably the only one whos willing to kiss you on the mouth.. or rather kiss as best as he can.. still quick, but you can tell theres love in there. sappy old man. pukes/j

ZOOBLE:

down right refuses to do anything on the cam, probably flips it off. does not like the attention it brings or being put on the spot; plus they generally dont like showing affection publicly outside of handholding and endearing names. definitely values their privacy... please dont kiss them on their cheek while the cam is on you guys, they will whip their head around and will probably smack you with it on accident... oh but also i think thats an overstep so thats a possible new issue, i think. not that theyre ashamed to be seen giving/receiving affection from you or that theyre ashamed to be your partner. quite the opposite. zooble just likes keeping their life private

GANGLE:

her mask pops off out of surprise and reveals her tragedy mask/j except i do think that she can do that... so maybe /hj... hmm... way too shy to do anything and youre too nice to put her in any situation that can make her uncomfortable or stress out, so youre the one rejecting the cam for gangles sake... she feels so bad for making you have to choose, though, especially if shes under the impression that you wanted to kiss her on cam. please reassure her shes fine and didnt do anything wrong

(in fact claiming this was the only thing he was right about) was going to make a joke about how he was like i know what you are but he actually seemed like genuine and objective with it honestly what the hell was up with that.

re-enactment of the last supper with dead bodies - YEAH season 9 episode 4 barenaked ladies. to make a poetic point about guilt and betrayal, someone kills some people who they think have wronged someone and electroplates them in the poses of various figures from the last supper.

one of the main characters kills jack the ripper - YEAH season 2 episode 2 snakes and ladders. a serial killer on the loose suspected to be jack the ripper is in toronto, and in a fight with him in the morgue, julia kills him. she is understandably shaken by this and the end of the episode she dances with murdoch because she’d like to be held <3

sherlock holmes meets arthur conan doyle. yeah they meet each other - YEAH season 6 episode 4 a study in sherlock. due to childhood trauma, there's a guy in toronto living as sherlock holmes :)) murdoch is frustrated that he won't believe that sherlock holmes isn't real, so to convince him, he invites arthur conan doyle, who happens to be visiting toronto, over.

reincarnation is real - YEAH season 6 episode 11 lovers in a murderous time. cant believe yall forgot this one this was one of my fav episodes the first time i watched s06 but anyways. two people bear a striking resemblance to two doomed lovers from many years ago, and the woman has visions and dreams of memories of details she can't possibly know ! they're reincarnated lovers. whoah

pig flies - YEAH season 6 episode 1 murdoch air. james pendrick, flying his test craft in the race for the world's first controlled air craft, tested a harness by using a dead pig as a passenger. was reminded of this one because in a s15 episode the brackenreids were laughing abt something and margaret said "when pigs fly!" and brax was like "i've seen that happen actually" <3

murdoch invents uber - NAH. murdoch does not invent uber. the closest we get to uber is not murdoch's invention but george and henry with henry's cab :) this lie kind of falls apart when you consider that murdoch's inventions are almost always technological innovations, while uber is. a business. and murdoch doesn't even like cars.

murdoch dies in a tub but only temporarily - YEAH season 5 episode 10 staircase to heaven. murdoch investigates a death within a club (one member being emily) who compete for a chance to "die" to see what the afterlife looks like, dropping them as close to death as possible and then reviving them, and murdoch tries it out yeah 👍

Simon making a pot of coffee and a cup of hot chocolate watching with a raised brow at all the toys all over the floor. His roommate adamant that there would be no wrapping until 2 in the bloody morning again. Starting a week early, and the man has already brought out enough toys to triple the small pile his little roommate had first brought out. Cause no one goes into 'uncle Simon's' room. And it's empty enough, and he really doesn't mind. It's a chance to see you flaunting all your purchases over the months and how excited they get. Scowling and scrunching their nose when he tells them they've bought two of the same 'paw patrol' toy.

Knowing damn well they'll huff, puff up a cheek, run their tongue over a tooth before. 'well it can be for the other one!'. Another nod and off it goes to be forgotten in Simon's room again. Until a few days before Christmas.

There's just something about his little roommate scowling at the wrapping paper like it was an affront to God Himself. For not being cut the right size. Not working juuust right, how rarely does their OCD kick in. He's already spotted them rubbing the spot of sharpie on their knuckle several times now. And he could help, sure, but... This is something he would much rather watch and enjoy. It is the most domestic thing he is graced with whenever he returns to their shared flat every time around this year.

A smile would cross his lips, knowing they've already forgotten the one holiday before Christmas they countdown to until the day before and forget. He'll just have to remind them with a nice meal and pint of ice cream, and a dorky happy birthday card that will drive them nuts tomorrow.

This got away from me shit fuck shit- but here have word vomits. And I am definitely not about to Merc myself while wrapping these presents. 😅

I really love that Athena rides solo. First art of 2024! Hope y’all had a great Christmas. I’m so sorry if I  wasn’t able to post this exactly on the day of Christmas, I wanted to finish this before 2024, but I was busy spending some time with my family during the holidays. Also managed to get a lot of pretty great presents such as two Barbie dolls, with one of them being based on the 2023 movie, so my Christmas was pretty gud.

I’ve been getting back into South Park recently, and I felt like drawing my fav parents, Randy and Sharon as a late celebration. I also drew this as a Christmas gift for one of my older brothers, because he really likes the show too ^w^

When it comes to the characters in South Park, the parents are some of my favorite characters on the show. I don’t like them as much as the main kid characters, but they’re kinda coming close to it. I kinda have a soft spot for them no matter how stupid, terrible or unhinged they are lol

I tried combining my regular art style with the art style from the show, and I hated how the sketch looked on the first attempt, so I scrapped it. But when I started all over on a different piece of paper, I don’t think it turned out that bad. Nothing terrible or spectacular, but I feel like I could have done better.

Wanted to go with the whole somewhat cliched but romantic mistletoe for the concept of the art, and I loved how it turned out. I had so much freaking fun drawing these two dorks. I did have to use a lot of fanart as references because I did have some trouble getting their hairstyles right, but it was pretty easy in the end. I loved how Sharon in particular turned out, especially when it comes to her little ruffles that she has at the end of her sleeves and her short haircut.

And I may or may not had a lot of fun drawing Randy’s cursed awooga facial expression, but honestly, can ya blame him 💀

When I read Harry Potter I was 11 and finished it when I was 13. And from Book 1 was Ron my fav after Harry. I loved Ron so much and just wished I had a friend like him! And then I discovered there were the movies and… I hated Movie!Ron so desperately. It was so tragic what they did to him. (i hope HBO doesn’t ruin Ron and Harry again😭WB did them dirty) But the fanfiction world sadly hates Ron or doesn’t care about him.

Book Ron is one of my favorite characters. He had one bad jealousy moment in GOF at fourteen but he was a stellar friend every other single fucking moment. (Yes, he left in DH but that was the Horcrux, not Ron). Everyone has a bad moment or two.

But Ron made sure Harry had Christmas presents. He worries about Harry at the Dursleys to the point he convinced enlisted Fred and George to steal their dad’s fucking car to rescue him. He was there time and time and fucking time again for Harry. They were BROTHERS in every single sense of the word that matters. They are the best platonic soul mates fucking out there. Ron is to Harry what James was to Sirius. Hands fucking down.

Ron was butchered in the fucking movies. You’re right, Hermione took on not only the Hermione role but also the Ron role. She was shoved in as the best friend (which she wasn’t) and she stole all of Ron’s amazing lines. Fuck Hermione. Honestly.

I am so glad you enjoy my Ron. Because I love me some Ron from his love for Harry, to his bickering yet heartwarming relationship with Ginny, to his hilarious personality, to underrated street smarts, to how fucking strategic he is.
