Today's Feature Friday is for one of my favorite true crime people, Lt. Joe Kenda! He is an author, a retired homicide detective, and a host of "Homicide Hunter" (one of my favorite TV shows). This man has the dryest sense of humor, and I love it! He has some of the best one-liners, and how he delivers them is everything.

Currently, he has two nonfiction books about his 20 years as a detective, and two fiction books, both based on his experiences. He and his wife are also main characters! If you are a fan of true crime, I highly recommend any of his books!

Kat Hunter: he once got shot 7 times by a few police officers. The other proxies came to his rescue.

Kate the Chaser: once got cornered by Bloody Angel and Scarecrow. She ended up bloodied due to being scratched, hacked at, stabbed, and all sorts of things. The most prominent ones were on her face and thigh. Bloody Angel had kept grabbing her legs to keep her from getting away. Bloody Angel has claws. Scarecrow has gloves very similar to that of Rouge and clawed down Kate’s face. Kate’s face was exposed in the first place because she got hot and couldn’t breathe, so she was jumped basically.

Brian/Hoodie: Fell from a two story building… duh

Tim/Masky: got into a tussle with Alex…

Ticci Toby: Car accident. Even though he didn’t feel the physical pain.

Zero: she stabbed herself with glass shards cuz she had a mental breakdown

Kagekao: purposely ran into oncoming traffic.

Bloody Angel: her whole thing is that she got mutelated into a monseter by a crazy circus… do the math.

X-Virus: while working on a project and it exploded in his face. So, he now has giant burn scars on his face, neck, and chest.

Judge Angels: Rouge kicked her ass and she has claw-like gloves. She ended up with scars on her face for a long while.

Scarecrow: Hoodie once cut her in half with a tree branch.

The basic summary of my creepypasta AU is that it’s essentially a combination of both “sides” of the fandom. Taking the fun goofy stuff and adding horror elements.

It’s a love letter to the good old slender mansion AU, without the mansion. Instead, we get a hotel, run by, honestly, the REAL father figure of the fandom… Splendorman!

Taking pity on those that have been “employed” by his brother, but also knowing he unfortunately can’t do much about it, Splendor builds a shelter/hotel of sorts. A place to stay when they have no where to go, and may come and go as they please.

Slender, is more or less, the villain of everything. Not necessarily evil though, but also not good. And in most cases, he is the main reason why the pastas have ended up as they are now. Playing with their lives and causing horrible events to push them closer to him so he could snatch them away.

As much as I love the “father slender” scenarios, he is not a nutrition or caretaker. He’s a corrupted soul using others for his own gain. But is it possible for him to gain redemption? We’ll have to wait and see…

While huddled up in their little cabin Amity spends an extraordinary amount of time staring at Hunter because something's off about him and she can't quite put her finger on it until he catches her staring and gets all bitchy about it like he normally does and then Amity's just like "I Figured It Out. You are SO MUCH LESS IRRITATING out of uniform, it's been really fucking me up how much more likeable you've been since we got here. Phew. Glad that's solved."

god juliet is so clearly trying to keep things just business between her and shawn but every once in a while you can see her faulter and it makes me want to die /pos

i know things between us have been a little complicated. there have been some mixed signals, mostly from me. with regards to the time we spend together outside if the line of duty

and when shawn told her about abigail she saw it as "right then. it's just business. he's taken and we're co-workers, the past is the past." but she clearly still has feelings for him. she spent all that time trying not to fall for him, telling him kissing would be a mistake, not letting him hold her hand, telling him to be quiet while we was complimenting her.

side note those were in order, shawn tried kissing her and she said it was a mistake (presumably because it would be unprofessional but we see after that she felt something too). she wouldn't let him hold her hand on the roller rink even though he set up a couples skate for them and she agreed to it (afterwards though we can see in the wide shot that she does go for his hand and it isn't just him initiating the brushing). then in the episode right before mr. yang he does his typical "jules your competency is a real turn on have you ever thought about looking into my eyes really close and making me melt?" but she cuts him off.

as time goes on she gets less and less okay with shawn's "play" flirting because she's catching real feelings

she spent so long falling deeper while trying not to, so when he brings her on that date in episode one she has to see how a date with him feels. she blushes when he winks at her in the cowboy's episode, and when he hints at their relationship with the peliton she back tracks and compliments gus instead, reminding shawn that they aren't together
