"I'm sorry, really sorry for not being a man. I know that we were about to get married, and I got scared. I was 24 years old, everyone was telling me that I had another life ahead of me. I was young. I wanted to ruin my life. I-I shouldn't have brought you with me." he apologized, trying to find the words that could articulate his feelings.

This was all that you needed from him.

An apology.

"When Destiny found out, she grabbed me by the ear. Told me that I could live a hundred lifetimes and never deserve you. I believe her, and I want to do everything to make it up to you and Pablo." he promised, but there were still words unsaid - the turn of his brows telling you that he wasn't willing to return back to normal.

That he still loves Because more than he's ever loved you.

"Do you love her?" you smiled bitterly. Your smile.

General info: as far as I'm concerned, all of my fic ideas posted here are up for grabs.

Most of them, I'm never going to get around to writing, unfortunately, because I don't have the time, and even if I do write some out, I'm not going to object to someone else giving their own take. I very much subscribe to the "HOLY SHIT, TWO CAKES!" philosophy for fandom: more treats in more flavors is good.

Guidelines (as far as I can set conditions when I can't actually stop anyone): 1) If you get around to posting anything for this fic idea, I would appreciate being informed when you do. I may lose the notification because my brain is soup when I'm tired, so you can always message me again asking for a signal boost or something. I won't promise to read any fanfiction, because I may still be working on my own thing, but I still like being told.

2) I would also appreciate a shout-out, like an acknowledgement in the author's notes, for the inspiration, especially for very specific ideas with many details that get used. If you're going as far as to use dialogue that I wrote, then I would prefer a link to the original post / fic as well as a shout-out.

3) If I do decide to write out the fic idea someday, you have to be cool with there being two takes on it. We're not competing. No two people are going to have the same interpretation of a premise, which is great, when different fans are looking for different things. I'll probably be happy to link our works together. And if I am inspired by your work directly, if I do read it, then I will credit you for it, of course.

I am also fine with it if people write fanfiction of my fanfiction. If you write fanfiction of my fanfiction and say, "This fic sucked, I made it better," then it will hurt my feelings and I will probably block you, but I'm still not going to, like, ever try to set my followers on anyone. If you write out my fic ideas and you make any characterization or plot choices that are not to my taste, then I am going to go, "Oh, well, I hope they're having fun," and then get on with my day. If I somehow find out that you wrote my fic idea or fanfic for my fanfic and never told me about it, then I'm probably going to go, "Fair enough, I also generally prefer that authors do not acknowledge my existence," and it will not be a big deal.

So, go for it! Someone might as well try writing it and have fun with it, if I'm not going to, and also even if I do. ❤️

Okay okay- the ending was so sweet. The little shy embarrassed SQQ calling Binghe husband and him pretending not to hear. My headcanon is that eventually over time SQQ feels less and less embarrassed, works through his internalized homophobia, and learns to say what he actually feels more often. Even without my hopes and dreams, I still think this ending was such good character growth for SQQ.

Found out MHA recently ended from my friend, and I've always been an outsideresque fan. Never watched the anime or read the manga, but enough lore was dropped on me from my friend to read fanfics and ...HOLY SHIT THEY ENDED IT SO GOOD

Sorry, I just got jumped by an idea due to this Tweet.

Tarn is assigned virgin by the author and now I want so bad to have Pharma get his virginity and break his nasty little heart. Or at least that's the intention but there's no way Pharma is getting away after wrecking Tarn so hard he thinks it's love.

I'm picturing the war ending slightly before the Red Rust, so Pharma is left with his reputation and unresolved rage. Post-Peace Treaty, Tarn is thoroughly collared and abandoned (dumped) by Megatron and separated from his division to "integrate" and Pharma finds him vulnerable and alone.

Tarn never did anything, but he certainly looked, and Pharma smells weakness and goes up to tell him bygones are bygones and seduces him. Something that Tarn is unprepared for despite talking a good game. Pharma goes full isolation and gaslight and getting Tarn drunk being sweet and pretty and pushing his tipsy body into bed and telking him to be good while he pushes his legs apart and pets him until he opens.

Tarn starts to atruggle to get up through the haze but Pharma plugs into him locking his fuel intake chip. Tarn is floaty and slow and very, very hot with Pharma petting his valve and cooing it him until his wet, says he must open his legs and shakes himself to be taken so easily and a regularly whore for an Autobot all while rocking his palm against him, grinding against his node and stroking his lips and jerking his spike while Tarn struggles to argue and overloads hard when Pharma leans forward and practically purrs "slut" and stops being gently slapping his valve and pinching his spike.

Tarn sobs through it squirting and Pharma calls him a slob, pushing his thighs further apart roughly and says if Tarn likes it so roughly he'll make sure he enjoys it and thrusts into once without any prep making Tarn scream as his seal breaks and his calipers are shoved open painfully quickly without anytime to recover overstimulated so much it transfers into painful and the edges back to pleasure making Tarn squeal while Pharma talks down to him not stopping saying how neglected he is and desperate and spike hungry and Tarn is melting.

He's hiccuping and moaning and rocking back against Pharma which only makes him get mocked more and Tarn is so overwhelmed and feeling something for the first time in so long and is so painfully lonely the moment Pharma pulls out and says he should leave Tarn there wanting and desperate, Tarn screams no and Pharma looks him dead in the eye and tells him to beg and he does.

Tarn by the end is just absolutely broken in and saying yes, i love you, and pharma over and over letting himself be moved and used until he's unconcious only to wake up and be used again. He is thoroughly under and by the time he comes out is absolutely desperate for Pharma's touch and orders.

And then Pharma leaves. He's smirking and proud of himself. He'd taken pictures and recorded Tarn begging and crawling for him and sucming him off and covered in transfluid and snuck them online anonymously.

Anyhow. Obsessed. I love to think about Tarn being knocked down a peg or two… Abandoned by Megatron and left to fend for himself, Tarn is so lost, he just needs a master to worship. Pharma doesn’t aim to become that but he couldn’t have guessed that pinning down Tarn when he’s vulnerable will make him “fall in love” with him. hrghhh I do want Pharma to tease Tarn when he feels his seal tear open as he pushes in, promising to treat him very nice since this is his first time. Not gentle, but nice will suffice. Tarn breaking down sobbing as he loses his seals, clinging to Pharma, valve hot and wet and staining the bed with squirt and lubricant… Pharma’s ego inflates so much seeing Tarn turn into a babbling mess.

When Tarn chases Pharma down again, he's on his knees in under a minute. Tarn’s never felt pleasure like that and he begs Pharma to pin him down and use him again. Pharma was not ready for a full-time commitment but this is honestly amazing, I mean, the power and control Pharma has over him now…

Going to preface this by saying that I have preferences, and those preferences tend to veer towards gay shit and people who don't initially get along ending up ride or die, and as such a high proportion of these are going to be Revalink.

Anyway. The fic that got me into that ship, changed my brain chemistry, and is a large part of why I go !!!! about ghosts (literal and nonliteral) haunting the narrative, characters with amnesia who are supposed to be dead, and the Rito as a whole, is Pinesong by aperplexingpuzzle and that is the fic that makes me go "if you read NOTHING else in this fandom read THIS holy fuck."

(But also you should be reading other things too, because there is so much good shit and I adore it greatly I go back to reread my favorites regularly. Also check out the authors I mention apart from just the fics I link there is so much good fic I'm forcing myself to just pick one per author or else I will be here literally all day.)

Next up: Moonlight (every single night) by Heleentje. Do you like time loops? Do you like characters slowly, painstakingly figuring out how to get it right? Did you get very attached to Revalink from the last fic? how about some ~queerplatonic Zelink~ in this trying time?

Frankly, it is very hard to pick just one fic by Ginneke, they've got so many good ones but I'm going to have to settle on Flowers from your Beloathed, which is another Revalink fic set before the Calamity where, y'know, Revali is getting flowers from a secret admirer. Except he's Revali. Hilarity ensues and I enjoyed the hell out of this one ^-^

Also also. Come Morning Light by misscoconi. Post-Calamity, they are both idiots (affectionate) and I am starting to realize that I have a bit of a pattern in my taste in Revalink fics. Huh. I'll unpack that later actually.

Skybound Wishes by Baddrummer is unfinished (unlike most of the fics I've recommended here) but y'all. Y'all it makes me lose my shit in so many ways because I am a SLUT for creative fix-it fics and gratuitous weaving-in of references to other games in ways that still respect the established canon but respect all of it, y'know, not just doing the TOTK thing of "actually nothing pre-BOTW matters anymore and neither does BOTW lol."

...I am starting to realize there may be a reason why I don't have a lot of TOTK recs. Also if this post is starting to sound unhinged and disconnected that's probably because I'm bouncing between Tumblr and studying for one of my finals like a ping pong ball.

But I do have one really, really big fic rec for TOTK. Y'all should check out Show Me the World Outside by IllusionOfDeath. The Sages get to do things, the Divine Beasts don't just vanish without a word, the Champions get actual recognition, and you can tell that the author is the Linguistics Georg (affectionate) of the fanfic world.

Anyway I think I will shill myself a bit too since you gave me permission to anon! If you read no other Zelda fics by me, may I recommend no one ever mentions fear, a fic that... it really was, in a lot of ways, a love letter to the fics in the fandom that I'd read and loved before. You've got the Champions getting to live and have nice things, you've got Revali being a dumbass (affectionate), you've got gay shit, you've got Problems Being Caused by the Yiga Clan in the background.

...Oh god this post is getting. A little longer than I meant for it to I've realized. Um. I love fanfic and tbh if you end up reading everything I've recced and still want more, my bookmarks on AO3 are public and I tend to bookmark just about everything I've read and liked enough to want to find again.

HI BESTIE I DO INDEED. not the word window somehow but i do have water! ...a lot actually because. holy water and all that. but here's a snippet with the word water that is not in fact related to holy water.

this is from an unpublished fic you asked about months ago actually but i shall give the premise again for ease: the fic (freudian theory and complex humanity) is post-final fifteen and it's just crowley hanging out with his duck friend that he met at st james's park in 1967 and made immortal—not illegal if no one knows!. the duck is called esther, and it's explained in the first chapter that crowley named her after queen esther (may not be a biased decision stemming from the fact that esther is my favourite book of the bible). the whole fic is just crowley going to meet esther at the park and they talk shit about each others' tragic lives because ducks have struggles too or whatever.

the context of this snippet—i'll shut up soon—is right after aziraphale leaves and esther loses one of her children (because she's old as hell), and crowley starts to feel guilty for making her immortal. skipped some parts in the middle because it's very long. and also it's unpolished because this was just written in my planning doc lol

Season 10 was a 10/10!!!

Really liked garmadon's characterization. My favorite part was when a random ass guy explained the meaning of life to him. I liked seeing Faith again. I thought the Cole death fakeput was really well done. Specifically how it like, tied into multiple things going on with the story. This shows always been good at that. Like how the grief leads to garmadon character moments and also internal struggle for nya and sense Cole's actually fine now we have to parrelell threads of story to follow and wait to reconnect

SEASON 11

Holy SHIT

-I think I like the new rendering style, it makes the colors look brighter. No real opinion on the added hair texture but I enjoyed the added texture to clothes and stuff. There were some scenes where I was like 'animators having fun' and really that's what I think is most important :3

-Cole's dumbass soda hat my beloved

-loved the episode where they were just like: looking for problems. They are all such silly Billies. Borderline menaces on occasion

-also loved the episode with the paperboys and the news network. I've thought a lot about the citizens of ninjago city and these episodes finnally gave me a proper look into it. Was not dissapointdd!! I am delighted!!!

-jumping ahead here but pixel and Zane's reunion hug was SO fucking cute. My God. There little photo too!!!! My God there always adorable together but it still just ajgfiabduaks my heartttt. Tbh personally I see them as more of a qpr/soulmates kinda thing rather then a conventional romance. Like just, they love each other and that's all that matters <3

-GOD DAMMIT the ice emperor shit goes SO hard. Lots for the fanfics to explore here.

-I fucking LOVED how they had the hand on the scroll all frozen over and whenever he stood up from the throne there was ice breaking just my godddddd

-I feel like there was a lot of things this season why I found myself thinking that there's three sides to every story. A lot of stuff where I felt like what we the audience were being shown wasn't quite the reality. I think the episode with the jailbreak proves this. Like with aspheera and wu. I'm sure there's something more there. That ashpeera's retelling of events would be different. Maybe king mamba was actually a huge asshole or smth. Idk. The point is there is something unknown there... CUE THE FANFICTION PLEASE.

-this leads into vex. I'm CERTAIN his story of leaving the formlings and when he came back to give evil speech went down VERY differently then what we were able to see. Not that Vex snt a fucking loser piece of work. He stalked a vulnerable individual and went 'I can manipulate this guy! '. Just that I thing things are a little more complicated then what we saw. Kinda like with nadakhan: still a fucking horrible person, but there was some characterization that showed them as A person. Rather then a stand in for a generic monster. I think that makes them scarier monsters actually

-speaking of monsters Krag was great. Love how Cole really just went 'Krag comes with us, Krag is friend now'

-I loved akita! Fun design!!!! She'd bite people for fun and she's real for that

-god dammit Zane's little goodbye video message was so fucking sad and sweet

-oh yeah the random ass 2d segments! I defiantly enjoyed them! They weren't perfect but who cares. I wonder like: how that happened tho???

reread all of my fic like a maniac and it was an interesting experience. i don't know what it says about me that i'll do this but i never read new fic. (actually it was because i wanted to reread my first longfic to see what it was actually like and it just spiralled from there. i read a bunch of new fic two nights ago because i wanted femslash.) ah, whatever.

my oldest fics are so indicative of what i read and wrote before joining the spn fandom, that is, mostly smut one shots. to my delight, the few fics i remembered as being really shamefully horrible are...pretty decent, actually. there's an awkward teenage stage in there, in my opinion, where i'm having a little trouble balancing the grand story of sam and dean in my head with what i'm actually writing. the 'your audience knows these characters already' quality of fanfic is a blessing and a curse. people told me at the time that those were great though, and i know i nitpick myself too much, but still. some of them are a little ham-fisted to me.

i also caught the goddamned phrases i keep remixing. i was conscious of the "(unrelated sensation) was like pressing on a bruise" thing but there's a bunch more, and i don't remember them now so i'll probably do it again.

i also got to see the two or three people who've left comments on almost every fic i've ever posted?? like holy shit, that made my heart warm. also in my case, it really shows that some people don't give a solitary fuck about whether sam or dean tops or bottoms.

anyway, i really recommend doing this if you have a short catalogue like me, or if you have a long one maybe reading like, a couple from every year you've been writing. learn something about yourself, see your progress, remember what what happening in your life when you wrote a fic (for better or worse).
