If you wanted to know what my favorite starter pokemon were of the three starting types (grass, water and fire), it's these three

(This is an older work of mine, about a year old, so I might remake this in the future.)

I love these three so much <3

Because of my excitement for Pokemon Legends: Z-A, I wanted to show off my three favorite starter pokemon based on the three starting types, starting with;

Delphox: I never played the X and Y games, but I personally thought Delphox had the cooler design of the three (though Greninja and Chesnaught are really great too). I like the idea of a mage fire type, and while not the best fire type starter, I still find them to be really enjoyable. If I wanted to choose a starter purely for strength, Cinderace and/or Skeledirge would more than likely top without question (and to be fair, I also really love those two regardless). But eh, I really like the mage fox :>

Primarina: Primarina is interesting to me. For a short while Blastoise was my favorite due to my larger love of the Squirtle line. After playing through Ultra Moon though, man did my love of Primarina shine through. It's got great typing in Water/Fairy and I overall love the design with it bearing resemblance to mermaids. I was originally going to choose Rowlet as my starter, though I already chose Rowlet for Legends: Arceus, so I wanted to go a different route when picking my starters, and I ended with choosing Popplio. Thank lord I did, cuz again, I love Primarina. I still enjoy Blastoise (thank GOD for Gen 9 finally making Blastoise fire Hydro Pump out of the cannons.), he faces competition with Hisuian Samurott to be my 2nd favorite water starter.

Meowscarada: Meowscarada clicked with me ever since Gen 9's Scarlet and Violet came out. Out of the three, Sprigatito was my favorite and I ended up choosing him. When I eventually got him evolved into Meowscarada, I was overjoyed, as I love the magician-esque approach they went with the final evo. While Grass/Dark isn't necessarily great, Protean very much makes up for that, Meowscarada being one of the only pokemon to get it. Plus, Flower Trick is absolutely busted. Honestly, I don't think I've ever been nuts about a grass starter quite like Meowscarada.

And yeah, that's about it! I honestly can't wait for Pokémon Legends: Z-A and what the game has in store. Though I'm curious; what your guys' favorite pokémon?

I might do another list like this featuring other pokemon. Maybe I'll even do another one featuring Legendaries and Mythicals, who knows :>

But yeah. I hope you guys are all having a good day/night, and I hope you enjoyed this little list of mine! :D
