I actually have no idea what this is. I drew this one day at like 3am in 5 minutes because I had to vomit the idea before I forgot about it.

This is probably SUPER OOC, and the designs are nowhere near accurate, but I cannot be bothered to do anything about it.

This is a mess and looking back I hate the second panel so much, but I'm feeding you guys anyways. Here you go.

It’s been so long since any work of fiction had a twist that I genuinely didn’t see coming. This Asebi twist is INSANE. Masterful writing man I never in a million years would’ve thought she was like this. They set her up as the quintessential victim, only to reveal her as a wolf in sheep’s clothing pulling all the strings in the ritual.

Best episode of the series by far. The Kasuke stuff was only the tip of the iceberg, I never would have thought Asebi was manipulating even the Prince’s own sister?? Fujinami being in love with her and willing to do whatever she asked, even kicking out and inadvertently killing Samomo wtf???? Takimoto covering it up I can understand, ladies in waiting are loyal to a fault as the prince said..

“The princess misunderstood me” nah this bitch is pure evil 😭 like the scary sort of pure evil. That scene of the dark raven coming out the ground next to Asebi was terrifying. She just exudes a very uncomfortable aura that I never noticed until today.

Who would’ve thought that out of everyone there it would be Hamayu that ended up winning the prince’s hand in marriage lmao. The person literally sent there to kill him. Poetic in a sense, but given her neutrality from the four houses and the prince’s desire for reform it is logical.

That “I do not find you particularly special and I do not love you either. That won’t change if you marry me” is the most insane proposal ever though 😂 that punch was well deserved. Hamayu is also a good choice because she doesn’t worship the prince or like treat him formally, they’re old friends and she isn’t afraid to say whatever is on her mind to him.

Gonna miss my boy Yukiya :/ was hoping he’d stay around, but guess he’s got unfinished business in Taruhi.. hope we see him again some day… but the set up for this next arc looks wild. The intercutting shots of girlie getting her head eaten off while the prince and yukiya say their goodbyes was haunting.

And a new waifu showing up?? Two weeks off due to the recap and new season starting, but I can’t wait!

OR

Starfire escaping the Psions

And the line-up needs to be the New Teen Titans plus one or two extra heroes not in the original ensemble.

I'm talking Dick Grayson, Donna Troy, Wally West, Victor Stone, Garfield Logan, Koriand'r, Rachel Roth

AND

Let's add Karen Beecher/Bumblebee and - possibly - Jericho.

It's no secret James Gunn loves 80s pop culture and it influences his work. The above team WERE the Titans of the 80s.

And we can update it by having Dick, Donna, and Wally be young adults, college age or freshly out of college, who USED to be part of the Teen Titans until it fell apart, and even the first five to ten minutes can be a flashback of the first teen titans versus their first villain, Mister Twister, that way we get the Roy and Garth shout out, before it skips ahead and shows them living normal lives. Meanwhile you have Gar, Vic, Karen, Rachel, and Kory all converging on the three to face whatever villain they choose to make the first big bad. Whoever doesn't get picked for the first film is the sequel villain. Meanwhile the third movie absolutely has to be the Judas Contract.

OH NAH WHAT THE FUCK WAS THIS EPISODE?!!! This some house of the dragon type writing man oh my god the twists and turns are immaculate, genuinely had my jaw wide open.

Where to even start here. First of all, the prince pulling up and making Ukogi and the other old ladies look dumb had me 😭 all this ceremony and bureaucracy and he’s like fuck that. I’m the prince, this ceremony is for me and I’ll pick who I want.

He BRILLIANTLY handled the Shiratama stuff. Shiratama heart has never been in this whole selection process and she’s only been doing what cha no hana had told her since she was a little kid. The prince bluffing about the pregnancy kind of acted as a mind control breaking type thing and she finally made her own choice to be free. So happy for her. She’s such a well written character who I hated at first and came to love once she got fleshed out.

I KNEW Kazumi wasn’t dead because we never saw his human body and also at the end of the episode a few weeks ago we saw a raven with its mouth open. Just so happy for the two of them and wish them nothing but the best away from all this bs

Hamayu ain’t get her honour restored yet, but Masuho being free now and able to dedicate herself to the mountain god was nice too. Rather than putting all these girls in a messed up situation as his consort, the prince really gave them all new leases on life.

BUT THE ASEBI TWIST WHAT THE FUCK. That whole sequence was so well done, completely turns your expectations upside down. We all assumed with the other girls gone and Asebi and the prince knowing each other from childhood that it was a foregone conclusion they get together. But NOPE those messages she was sending to Kasuke weren’t as innocent as we thought. Bro raped Futaba???! Could Asebi really be a villain??

Tears, all that Sakura palace shit and none of the girls valid 😭
