HH & HB Worldbuilding Part #01

Worldbuilding, a beautiful and vital thing for all stories to have, is, for some reason, absent in the Hellaverse. Let’s change that.

“When was Hell created?” ‣ I’ve decided to base Hell’s creation on how long the Earth has been around for which would mean that Hell was made around 4.5 billion years ago. I went this route because it makes the most sense from a logical and theological standpoint as God only made the Earth after he found out that Adam & Eve had disobeyed him by eating The Forbidden Fruit of Knowledge.

“How many Rings of Hell are there?” ‣ Usually there are only Seven Rings of Hell but I’m taking a page out of Dante’s Inferno for this and having there be Nine Rings instead. However, the order of these Nine Rings is rather different. First and foremost, one of the only things staying from the canon Hellaverse is that the Pride Ring is the very first Ring of Hell as I see it as the only Ring meant to house Sinners on account of the majority of humanities crimes stemming from the sin of Pride by believing that they are better than something else whether it be their fellow man, machine, or beast. As far as the other big Six Rings of Hell go after Pride it would be Lust in 2nd, Gluttony in 3rd, Sloth in 4th, Greed in 5th, Wrath in 6th, and Envy in 7th.

‣ That just leaves me with the 8th & 9th Rings which cannot be accessed via regular means (for instance, Hell’s Metro system for Hellborn citizens) or standard irregular means (like The Marked Alleyways in Pride that’s used by normal Hellborn citizens and Sinners alike.) The 8th Ring is known as The Ring of Treachery and very few know of its existence and even fewer are aware of the evil it holds. On the other hand, the Final Ring is one that every demon knows and fears as that’s where those found guilty in The Serpent’s Courtroom are forced to serve capital punishment (yes, there are things far worse than the death penalty in Hell) and go to suffer for the rest of eternity, in the Ring fittingly named, The Abyss. “What are the laws of Hell?” ‣ Obviously, if Hell has some kind of courtroom then there are some type of rules set in place. How said rules work differ depending on four major factors: which Ring you’re in, your place in Hell’s hierarchy, your race, and whether you’re a Hellborn citizen or not. Which doesn’t sound as bad as it could be until you take into consideration that Hellborn groups like Imps have to constantly be updated on and follow the laws in ALL Seven Rings, be "reminded" about their place in Hell by basically everyone around them, and overall be treated less than a Sinner would be because, “at least Sinners EARNED their right to be here.” The only Hellborn groups to have it worse than Imps are Half-Breeds (like Blitzø, Barbie, and Striker) as they’re expected to memorize DOUBLE the set of rules compared to everybody else and Hellhounds who have the most amount of rules while also having the least amount of freedoms thanks to them being often seen as pets or servants and nothing more. “Will the entirety of Hell be some various shades of red?” ‣ Short answer, no. Long answer, each of the Rings will be various shades of their specific Sin’s corresponding color. For example, the entire Pride Ring is going to be some tint or shade of purple. The only Rings I can’t really do this for are Lust, Treachery, and The Abyss. For the latter two it’s because they don’t exist in the traditional sense and as far as the Lust Ring goes, I’ll have to change the color to pink as Lust’s true signature color is blue however Sloth is light blue which means one of them has to change and I don't know about you but a blue Lust Ring just doesn't sound or look right to me.

While I was doing this I hadn't realized just how much Vivziepop & Spindlehorse managed to accomplish NOT making Hell feel like Hell. Both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss are solely set in Hell for the sake of being edgy and so that one show can do the done to death trope of, "angels are the real bad guys," while the other show devolved into a convoluted melodrama.

With a story setting like Hell you, as the writer/director, have to understand that you can't just visually show the readers/viewers that this story could only be set in Hell but you also have to make them FEEL like it could ONLY be set in Hell. Viv somewhat grasps the visual aesthetic of Hell but she's completely lost on how to appeal to an even wider audience due to her shows failing to convince people that FEEL like either show truly takes place in Hell. There's no real ongoing suffering happening to the Sinners in Hazbin Hotel (I'm not counting Angel Dust and his problems because they've opted for him to have rushed and off screen character development) as the Extermination only happens once a year and with Helluva Boss, it REFUSES to go all in on depicting high class Hellborn citizens taking advantage of those beneath them in Hell's society (gee, I wonder why/s.) That aside, I hope that you liked the worldbuilding that I've come up with so far and before the day is over I'll probably make a post dissecting Chaggie and why they should've stayed as best friends like they were originally planned to be in HH before Viv changed her mind last minute. The Full Moon ending is perfect!

A day in Stolas and Blitzø’s lives that summarises what’s happened so far. 

Blitzø and Stolas are perfectly disastrous in their way and of course, they were going to collide at some point. After brewing for one and a half seasons, the miscommunication between these adorable idiots peaked. Who’s fault is that? Both! And in equal part! I can’t stand reading how many people blamed Blitzø alone. The truth is, they both acted incredibly wrong and also incredibly well for who they are. 

Let’s start with Stolas: he ran out of his happy pills on the most important day of his life (probably). Now, I can’t talk from experience because I never used antidepressants (at least I assume they are antidepressants), but I doubt that skipping one dose turns you into an emotional wreck. But the thing is, Stolas is autistic and I can relate to this and the way he behaved. The pills were something he could rely on to stay afloat probably during his whole sad life, so running out of it first thing in the morning in the middle of an emotional Dinsey princess moment was truly bad timing. Stolas found himself stripped of this little safety blanket. During his song, he gets happy, dramatic, desperate and hopeful. He most likely spent the day in a mood swing, and let’s remember that he wakes up at 7 AM and meets Blitzø at 11:56 PM, plenty of time to panic [Side note, the breakup happens 4 minutes later so at midnight on the dot, I love these little details]. Stolas knows how he feels about Blitzø, he has known for some time, and he’s ready to tell him. If I know a little bit about how a brain on the spectrum works, he most likely had been rehearsing any possible scenarios in his head for hours (or days, or months) and that’s why when Blitzø arrives, Stolas doesn’t say anything to interrupt the other displaying of sex toys, until he decides it’s time to stop Blitzø (that it’s clearly freaking out already at that point) and opens the conversation in the worst possible way ever: “I need it [the Grimoire] back. Permanently”. It seems unnecessarily cruel to just take the book from Blitzø, letting him tear up and beg. But then Stolas pulls out the box with the crystal and we have the Stolitz music playing and… but why make Blitzø cry and not just give him the crystal straight away? Because Stolas was too stuck in his mind already. He played out this scene so many times in his head, that he couldn’t act any different without losing his cool. Don’t get this wrong: from here on I absolutely LOVE how Stolas handled the situation, how he spoke, what he did and said, from kneeling in front of Blitzø, gently holding his hand to calm him down when he was about to panic, and then he gave him the crystal while confessing his feelings for him. Stolas at this point had been in touch and honest with his feelings for months (at least since Ozzie’s from what we can see on screen), but the main problem is that Stolas has no idea of what is going on with Blitzø, so when obviously Blitzø feels cornered and doesn’t want to face his feelings so abruptly and hides behind sex and roleplaying, Stolas loses his control over the situation and closes up for good. Anything that happens between “Do you…Do you have my book Blitzø?” and “That’s enough to know what this is” is a monologue. When Blitzø doesn’t follow the idea Stolas has in his mind, Stolas just walks away. 

And this is VALID because Stolas has never been in a real relationship, he has no friends or family aside from Via, and he doesn’t know how to deal with people with complex emotions like Blitzø. It is quite common for people on the spectrum to assume that everyone else is alike, thinks alike, and responds similarly to certain patterns, so when Stolas doesn’t get the response he was expecting, he immediately reads it as rejection. He turns away from Blitzø and leaves without giving the other any chance other than yelling in anger and despair. 

On Blitzø's side things are more linear. He was and still is in constant… ignorance. Meaning he actively ignores his and Stolas’ feelings. I don’t think he is in denial, because he knows fully well he has feelings for Stolas at least since S1E6 Truth Seekers, he knows he fears intimacy and also craves it. And he most likely knows, at least in part, that Stolas has feelings for him as shown during the exchange with Fizz in Oops (that part was denial, yes). Blitzø knows this night is important and different. They haven’t seen each other for months. He was the one who decided to skip a few rounds when Stolas gave him the opportunity, and if we go with the text exchange in Western Energy, it’s safe to assume they haven’t seen each other since Seeing Stars and probably haven’t slept together since before Ozzie’s. Blitzø’s strategy to deal with his fears and feelings is to let things linger doing nothing in the hope they settle back to where they were when the deal was still new and comfortable. Because Blitzø doesn’t want to admit he has feelings for Stolas, but most of all he doesn’t want to accept that Stolas has feelings for him, because who can love him? Certainly not a prince of all people. Blitzø goes shopping to impress Stolas because he wants to keep staying in that deal, no commitment, no need to reveal his feelings, he could keep going forever, transactional sex is convenient and non-commmittal. (Inadvertently showing, while doing sex shopping, how much he cares for Stolas and how deeply he knows him and what he likes, he wants to make Stolas happy). He wants to go back to sex and show Stolas a “good time” so he doesn’t have to think about how he felt when he realised Stolas could get hurt. He doesn’t want to think about anything, but then, when Stolas takes control of the narrative, Blitzø can only be there and follow it until it gets too overwhelming. He tries so desperately to stick to the habits, to the point he has this massive slip when he tries to give back the crystal to Stolas and says he can always do better. He doesn’t want a way out. He doesn’t want to choose. He loves being in chains because it’s easy. He wants things to stay the way they are, for Stolas to use him as a sex toy, and to be used by him because admitting that he has feelings and that he sees that Stolas has feelings for him is too much. But Stolas clearly states how he feels and what he wants. Blitzø understands perfectly, but he can’t accept it, so he tries in a desperate attempt to get back to where they were, to pretend one more time. Blitzø runs away from the feelings Stolas is showing him in a way that triggers Stolas in the worst possible way. Stolas runs away from Blitzø when he can’t deal with his heartbreak anymore, triggering Blitzø’s fear that translates into an angry outburst. Stolas doesn’t stop for a second and doesn’t listen to Blitzø who is yelling at him to, basically, stop and listen to him. Blitzø says hurtful things to Stolas because he is desperate and he feels rejected and abandoned by him. After avoiding any type of confrontation for months, Blitzø finally gives in, but he’s hurt, angry and terrified so he does the only thing he’s comfortable with: he yells. He doesn’t know of Stolas’ past of being abused by his wife. Stolas just wants out, out of the feeling of being rejected (even if he obviously jumped to the wrong conclusions too fast) and away from yet another person screaming at him. Blitzø only manages to stop Stolas by yelling at him hurtful things he doesn’t fully believe. Unfortunately, Stolas listens to that. And for the first time in his life, he cries in front of someone. Blitzø finally realises how much his words hurt Stolas, but it’s too late to apologise and he finds himself teleported outside mid-apology.

Honestly, I don’t think they could have screwed up any worse than that even if they tried. But this needed to happen and I’m glad it did. Blitzø needed to see Stolas heartbroken to understand Stolas was in love with him. Stolas did the best he could for who he is, he made the first move, and now the ball is in Blitzø’s court. 

I owe Blitz an apology. When speculating on The Full Moon I assumed it was going to end badly and I blamed Blitzø for it. Now that the episode is out I can see that mostly it’s Stolas’ fault. Yes, I said it, it’s predominantly Stolas’ fault if The Full Moon ended in tragedy, but this is important: Blitzø knows Stolas treated him wrong (not only in the last episode, many many times before that) but now he also knows that Stolas can get hurt physically and emotionally, and yes, he proved himself to be a pompous rich asshole that happens to also be deeply in love with him. Is then Stolas worth fighting for? I think we all know the answer. What I hope to see in Apology Tour is the both of them apologizing to each other AND to themselves. Neither Stolas nor Blitzø know what love is. They are trying and failing but in the end, they are both desperate for one another and if Stolas can get his head out of his ass and Blitzø finally drops the act for a minute, they could just… talk and start to figure things out. And maybe in Apology Tour we will know more about what happened with Verosika and why that relationship went South so badly, I bet it’s going to play a huge part in Blitzø’s future development.

Let's get this out of the way: Blitzø does not care. Like, at all. Sometimes, you aren't even sure he notices your appearance.

Which, yes, is very comforting. He's attracted to you regardless, he wouldn't be with you if he wasn't.

Blitzø's favorite thing in the world is to cook for you. Half of his attempts could be considered lethal, sure, but hey, he's fed himself and his daughter for at least a few years off of his skills, right? He'll do his best to adhere to any special diets and eating routines you have, too, since he totally understands if you have any insecurities. He knows how cruel Hell and earth alike can be toward anybody who isn't a stick figure.

Allergic to nuts? Sweet, guess what's no longer in the house. Pescatarian? He's suddenly the hugest fan of fish. Vegetarian? That's fine, he didn't like meat, anyway. Even though he did.

He's a dad, after all, and if he's that doting with his daughter, imagine how doting he is with his partner. You're the light in his dark world, and he hates the idea of you ever feeling like anything less than you really are.

Now, granted, sometimes, some of the things he says sound insensitive, but he really is trying to learn more about your situation. So he gets some very... er... sweet-intentioned, but possibly perverted-sounding nicknames for you.

"Heeeeyyy, Sexy~." "Woah! Got someone you're tryna impress today~?" "Well, aren't you a sight for sore eyes~?"

I wouldn't be surprised if your face is eternally red, like, at all.

If you ever confessed to actually being insecure about your body... oh god. Good luck, that's it for you.

He's basically going to be so touchy on you, it'll be like you have a Blitzø-sized tumor attached to your hip.

If you've got a tail, Blitzø will ensure that your tails are basically always intertwined.

Unless you tell him to stop, of course. He's a dick, but he's not that much of a dick.

But he'll make sure you're always comfortable and feeling loved and basically worshipped. Seriously, have you ever seen an assassin get pissed off because somebody insulted their S/O?

Millie is someone who grew up around a lot of farm folk, a lot of whom were also on the chubbier side. It happened, it wasn't a bad thing. If anything, she liked it more on you.

And she'd be the one who'd actually fucking maul someone over insulting that trait of yours, my god- I'm not sure if there's ever been so much blood from one person-

You're insecure? Aw, you've got a little sweetheart right at your side.

"Baby, you're the cutest thang I've ever seen! I could just gobble you up~!"

As long as your physique doesn't pose any issues for your health, she's all for it! She finds it so cute and she loves how soft you are!!

And although she's never experienced it, herself, you can always count on her endless support and love, regardless of whatever it is you may need!

She'll always try to be right next to you, both because she's ready to strike if anybody dare makes a rude comment toward her lovely S/O, but also because she just adores you that much.

Like Fizz, she'll also wrap her tail around you when she wants cuddles because it's a way that imps like her often show love.

Another thing I think she'd like is comparing hand sizes.

Any headcanons about some of the ways Stolas can be possessive/condescending with Blitzø sometimes?

the first thing to note about stolas is that he does NOT respect personal boundaries. he simply believes they do not apply to him - this entitlement stems from both aristocratic privilege and, of course, being a demon lord; after all, one does not harvest souls by, tch, respecting boundaries. stolas deems them human constructs meant for those who lack the power to impose their will. our dark prince in fact thrives on his ability to transgress these limits, whether for personal gain or the sheer thrill of domination. he has an innate superiority complex that bleeds into his relationships, including with blitz, whom he views as simultaneously fascinating and beneath him.

secondly, there is a painfully clear cut hierarchy between the prince and his imp lover; which means that stolas' perception of blitz is shaped by hell's intrinsic power structure, and, by extension (with notable exceptions), all hellborn imps are tools or servants - useful, ambitious, but inherently disposable.

but what does that actually mean to stolas?

it's not really about societal class - it's more nuanced than that; before creating such ranks and construct, hell is, at its very origin, a place where the fallen made a haven, and a dominion for the lost and the damned; for stolas, hell's true & ultimate currency is POWER, harvested through the collection and shepherding of souls, chaos, and influence over mortal and immortal realms alike. so, naturally, he doesn't rest on his title as a passive birthright, but actively upholds it by honing his skills, sowing discord, terrorising and creeping into the lives of mortals, and ensuring a steady influx of souls to hell, to expand the domain's overall power.

his authority over blitz and others is a natural extension of his role as a predator and soul-harvester. the transactional relationship he initiates with blitz is, to him, just another way to leverage his influence.

that follows that he treats those who are beneath him condescendingly, but he appreciates those who strive to climb the ladder with audacity and tenacity, like blitz and his crew. while he may even feel a shred of admiration for blitz's cunning and resourcefulness, it is filtered through the lens of condescension. he respects him only insofar as one might respect a particularly clever pet: something worth keeping but always under one’s CONTROL. possessiveness is another facet of stolas' sense of superiority. everything and everyone in his orbit are extensions of his domain, especially if their souls or services are owned by him; blitz is no exception. initially, he sees him as just another piece of property - a transactional exchange of services for the grimoire. however, as his fascination with him deepens, this possessiveness takes on a more personal and obsessive edge. blitz shifts from being a pawn to a most prized possession stolas feels entitled to dominate and keep close.

so, stolas' warped affection manifests in invasive and domineering behaviours, which he sees as a natural expression of his superiority and care; these include but are not limited to:

summoning blitz at any time without considering his plans or desires.

scrying on blitz’s whereabouts and calling or appearing unannounced, often in compromising situations.

physical dominance, such as unwelcome touching or grabbing, as if blitz’s body is his to command.

unfiltered remarks, sexual or otherwise, with no regard for comfort or consent.

lavish, unsolicited gifts meant to assert his wealth and generosity while reinforcing blitz’s indebtedness.

imposing decisions on blitz’s behalf, treating him as incapable of making his own choices.

forcing blitz into roles and jobs he deems necessary, regardless of his actual feelings.

all of this because stolas genuinely believes blitz should be grateful for his attentions and not be devoured or worse, discarded by the demon prince; from his point of view, he’s offering him a rare privilege: the favour of a prince, the protection of a demon lord, and indulgence in carnal pleasures others could only dream of. he also assumes blitz secretly enjoys this kinky dynamic, interpreting any resistance or discomfort as coyness or pretence. this delusion blinds stolas to the very real harm he does, as he equates his desire with affection and blitz's begrudging compliance with consent.

as the transaction progresses into a situationship, stolas' complicated feelings for blitz grow more tangled. lust turns into fixation, and his obsession with his darling imp begins to blur the lines between ownership and longing. he becomes more erratic in his behavior, oscillating between domineering possessiveness and vulnerable moments where he seeks blitz’s approval or affection. this emotional turbulence only deepens his confusion, leaving him torn between his role as a depraved demon lord and his burgeoning, twisted infatuation.

“ I can picture Zorrick as an overlord too but in his case, I think Zorrick did it for survival sake vs actually wanting to be one. And if anything people he has deals with he’s actually a reasonable caring guy.” nice analysis and all but did you consider Stolas giving Zorrick a title as an overlord to protect him? ;)

While without a doubt they might find each other attractive I can picture their friendship starting in a weird way.

Zorrick is an astronomer but he’s also eccentric he will try what is hip or cool.

My idea is if anything

HOW STOLAS AND ZORRICK MET ver. 1:

Zorrick was on a long joyride he stops at an intergalactic stop kinda like Galaxy space truck stop, think like the crater in Rick and Morty where they dropped Jerry off, but more avanced somewhere in or near the Milky Way Galaxy.

Zorrick, he’s always up for learning more about the vast galaxies and sometimes he buys books if he doesn’t have much interest or time to visit certain ones. Now in Galactic Twist, the galaxy has mixed opinions on the Milky Way Galaxy, Earth especially. Earth is seen as the most simplistic and complicated planet of them all, so he might not want to explore this galaxy due to ether simplicity or not much interest. Also want Zorrick likes to do is see how accurate books are too, because he’s seen a lot, if anything he might know about the milky way galaxy already and he wants to see inaccuracys on books about it. So, he asks the employees if they sell a book about the stars and ‘secrets’ or whatnot, they somehow misunderstand part of it, give him a book on not only demonology focusing primarily on Stolas because he wanted secrets to the universe as he worded it.

Zorrick is skeptic but he’s also a man of science and also known for doing eccentric things and considering he’s a space alien he’s seen the galaxy anything happens in space, maybe Demons exist. He also at first doesn’t have too much faith in it because Stolas is mostly known on Earth, and other planets who don’t even try to look for proof but he also still holds some hope and just doing it for a good time. To his surprise it works. Stolas was summoned. Stolas even knew quite a lot about aliens and seemed to know about Zorrick’s planet and it fascinated him, Stolas is also fascinated by Zorrick, they are both so similar, and sound alike. That started their friendship and Zorrick and Stolas found common ground and Stolas just visits Zorrick randomly but he doesn’t mind.

HOW STOLAS AND ZORRICK MET ver. 2:

Very similar to what is above but instead of him getting a book on demonology, Zorrick gets Stolas’s Grimmore from a guy who sold it to him in the parking lot on the intergalactic truck stop? How did Stolas’s Grimmore end up in space you ask? Blitzø’s carelessness. This was before he got the asmodian crystal of course. And ether there was an alien sinner who hired I.M.P to take out another alien and Blitz lost the book in space, OR IMP had to take out an astronaut. It would more likely be an astronaut than alien sinner, so he lost it in space, lack of gravity it slipped from him.

Anyway, Zorrick finds some alien in a parking lot selling rare finds, the grimmore’s cover entices Zorrick so he buys it. He takes it home, the moment he starts reading the book even a possible spell as Zorrick is trying to make heads and tails of it, Stolas appears behind him. Upon hearing Blitz lost his book, he remembered some spell to summon himself to where the book is.

Long story short, Stolas asks why he has a girmmore and the intentions, Zorrick finds Stolas rather interesting and attractive, they have civil conversation and the rest is history. They are friends!

With this friendship Zorrick gets to hell when dead, Stolas enjoys Zorrick’s company a bit AS A FRIEND, and with him being more accessible he grants overlord status so Zorrick uh… won’t be bothered by many I guess. Though I doubt the Ars Goetia can grant that.

uhm uh helluva boss

summary: Fizz has a bad day bc SOMEONE (burnie burnz that one creepy fan from s2 e7 I think) attacks him and his arm is dented and like gets emotional and some fluff omggg

 The door to his and Ozzie’s room swung open, our colorful impish jester didn’t feel so colorful and well, jestery? For lack of a better word, as he collapsed onto the bed he shared with who seemed to be one of the only people he could lean on. 

 Between almost losing blitzø, the fans and ex-fans alike still gushing over his affair with the ‘great and powerful asmodeous’, and the same people pushing him to explain to them all why he cut contact with mammon, he’s been having a tough time. 

 In all honesty, he somewhat missed life before all this, a simpler time, not to mention..

“Hard day?” A deep voice sounded, that revealed itself to be Asmodeous as he sauntered over to their bed with a plate of something in hand that he placed in between them as he sat down.

 “Yeah” Fizz glanced over at what the demon king had brought “watcha got there Ozz?” 

“Burgers, thought I’d stop by the place down the street and get you some. I suppose I’m just clairvoyant like that.” He answered as he laid himself across the bed the two were on. 

Fizzarolli gave him a puzzled look “what..” 

  Asmodeous rolled his eyes (playfully ofc they love each other sm )at the imp’s retort “What I mean is I guess I predicted you’d have a bad day. You look rough as hell, and not in the hot way”

Fizzi held up a dented arm to inspect it “I look pretty fine to me!”

“Fizzi, I know you, and so I know that you’re hiding something, also you look like you got beat up or some shit. “ Asmodeous looked back at fizz, feeling a tug at his heartstrings from the uncomfortable look Fizzi gave him as he pushed for answers. He put a hand on and rubbed his shoulder “ You know that you can talk to me about anything fizz, right?” 

 The jester looked ahead in thought before turning back to him “yeah, I just don’t.. feel like it right now” and grabbing a burger from the plate Ozzie had brought “have I thanked you for the burgers already?”

“No, but I kind of dragged us off the topic of them.” The demon chuckled, he’s glad that Fizz is at least fine enough to hang out , but he could just as easily put on the same mask he’s had to in front of mammon for so long, what if he always is?

Asmodeous awoke to Fizzarolli’s hands shaking him so. He looked at the imp’s glowing greenish-yellow eyes in the dark room “You don’t think I’m… pathetic, do you? I-I’m not a burden to you right?” 

  It took him a second to process that, but when he did so with fizzarolli’s words he almost didn’t believe himself “No, baby I tell you this all the time I love you and all the things you find imperfect about yourself. “ he pulled fizz closer to him to emphasize the statement “ what makes you think I’d ever?” 

Fizzarolli sighed “Look , Ozzie, I’d like to think I know you love me but it’s hard to believe when I basically rely on you for everything, emotional, financial, fuck , even physical. I feel like well.. a burden.” He paused for a breath, and take in Ozzie’s reaction to his words “what I mean to say is, could you..”

“Fix your arm?”

“Yeah, if you don’t mind..”

Asmodeous chuckled almost dryly. He was a mix of confused, offended, but mostly upset that he’d let fizz get to that point “Never have, never will. You wait here while I go get you a new one, okay?” 

“Before you walk away..” he turned back to the subject of those concerns “Sorry for being.. rude? But the guy back there was kind of right, I am kinda pathetic under all this pizzazz!” The imp laughed at that, apparently he liked dark humor. Ozzie did NOT “Baby you are the pizzazz. Don’t even think about letting them get to your head”

“Heh.. I’ll keep that in mind”

Hey y’all been a minute, just wanted to firstly get my rules and etc out there! Since I am multi-fandom now, I write for multiple and don’t be afraid to ask for a request for a character that I haven’t wrote for in a while or for at all!

I will say… I cannot make every request (not that because I dislike said request) because I do have a life and can be busy, plus I am also autistic so hyperfixtations usually motivate my writings.

After Mastermind and Sinsmas this would not make any sense.

In Mastermind they already confessed (not to each other BUT for the audience their mutual love). Blitzø is not interested in anyone else and neither Stolas. In months the guy could have been with anyone else and he was still alone and getting drunk. Now that Blitzø is like that he just won’t drop him.

A triangle now would destroy all this build

A love triangle was one of the fears I had for the series, and I said fears because it would drag Stolitz drama for too long too, even in the Apology Tour setting.

Their dynamic needs to change, a slowburn romance with them in the actual setting for me is the good way to go.

Seeing them pinning for each other, knowing their feelings but not knowing how to continue. Then, Blitzø feeling that they are incomplete without Octavia and Stolas feeling guilty that he gets to enjoy being with Blitzø at the expense of Octavia.

Also, after the Octavia plot was stablished the function of Vassago as a character is more clear to me.

Vassago and Andrealphus are foils/opposites, at least, as characters, regardless if there is some story me between them (for me it seems there is because Vassago is suspicious of Andre even before he starts to talk).

The possibilities for me are:

1. Vassago has some previous history with Andrealphus, and at some extent that could have involved Stolas and the arranged marriage. OR. Alternatively, Vassago had some story with an imp too, similar to Stolas, and this is why he was so outraged with what was happening. Or, a combination of these two.

2. Vassago function will be to have a character that is a lens to see more about the Goetia family, because they will be relevant to the decision taken about Octavia.

3. Vassago will be like a rogue in the Goetia family, like Blitzø, and I think this seems weird but the parallels between him and Blitzø are because he is like Blitzø and Stolas in one person. I know this sounds very weird, but is what I think and this is what mislead people to think in the love triangle. Blitzø is a light, and Stolas is a heart, and Vassago is both heart (good boy in a red color theme) and light (his star-light powers).

4. I find very interesting the possibility that Vassago and Stolas are distantly related (like cousins or something and this is why they look alike, and their powers are also related with stars and those things. They are a very different kind of birds though.

He is going to be a supporter, and he will either start siding with Octavia or discovering Andrealphus in something and more about the truth and alerting Stolas.

He will probably have also his own storyline apart from the main characters, that could end up intertwined with the Stolitz and Octavia one.

I am trying desperately to figure out why parts of this fandom WANT a Stolas/Blitz/Vassago love triangle.

First of all, I thought we as a society have agreed that the love triangle trope is one of the worst romance tropes out there and that we’re all ready to retire it.

Second of all, it would be such a fundamental betrayal of both Stolas’s and Blitz’s character journeys for that to happen. Stolas would roll back his progress in making choices for himself and owning up to his mistakes, and Blitz would have every dooming fear he had about love validated and he’d shut down again.

Even if it’s just coming from the perspective of loving Stolas and thinking he can do better than Blitz, making Stolas even CONSIDER something romantic with Vassago, after everything he and Blitz went through, would be such an audacious display of character assassination.

And even if you don’t care about the characters, with all the other conflict going on, throwing a love triangle in there would just make the story bloated and irritating.

No matter how you look at it, adding a love triangle would be a dooming decision for the show.

I could understand the sentiment of Stolas and Vassago being a possible thing if we're referring to Apology Tour Blitz.

Back in Apology Tour, Blitz in no way was ready for a relationship and no matter how hard he tried to put that mask down, he wasn't able to open up completely without looking pained.

However, Sinsmas Blitz is genuinely the very best version of Blitz there is (so far).

And this version of Blitz is only able to exist because of the intensive character growth he went through in Apology Tour, Ghostfuckers, and Mastermind.

But the main reason why this Blitz is able to exist right now is because he has completely opened up his heart and soul to Stolas, and knows that without a doubt that he is genuinely loved by him (Stolas), Millie, Moxxie, and Loona.

Of course, Blitz has some more character growth to do, but right now, he's at much more healthier mindset than he ever was, and that's a miracle.

Stolas, right now, needs help and assistance and has some growing to do. And Blitz sees that and knows that. There is no better person to care for Stolas right now than Sinsmas Blitz.

I know Stolas is confused, lost, depressed, and is in desperate need of his antidepressants; but he is going to be fine as long as he is able to grow and adjust to his new way of life.

Right now, the man is now dealing with the fallout of every wrong thing he has ever done in the course of the series in genuinely the most fucked up way possible. Actions have consequences, and Stolas is now learning the gravity of that.

But I'm going to be blunt, the man made his bed, and now he only has Blitz. They don't owe each other a relationship, but if Blitz is giving 110% of his love and devotion to Stolas, and Stolas repays him by literally going, "I am now magically in love with Vassago who I have never had a fucking conversation with once in the entirety of two seasons."

That is going to ruin Stolas' character for a lot of people, and that is going to break Blitz in a way I fear he won't ever be able to recover.

Also, these guys are endgame. You can't get anymore endgame than the gayest- cheesiest Disney duet in the universe.

So call me petty or edgy but I have my own HC about Helluva Boss even if it is a show I hate. I headcanon that after the show, Blitz and Stolas indeed do end up together sincere unfortunately it is obviously what the writers aim at... but they will realize while living together they fucking hate each other but out of pride stay together because they did all of that and don't want to admit they made a mistake. Blitzø will realize he DOES hate him and the abuse he went through he was guilttripped into ending up doubting about it was true and that even if occasionallt sex was hot he was uncomfortable most of the time, and Stolas will realize once he gets to live with his plaything like an actual person with real life responsibilities he can't guilttrip anymore it actually becomes very boring and he wants something new already. Problem is now Stolas is entirely alone (he is now ostracized by nobles for fucking an imp and Octavia now she is an adult finally stopped to be gaslit into always forgiving him and cut ties or at least took a break from him when moved out) and so is Blitzø (Millie and Moxxie were tired of his fake promises to become a better bosses and were tired of his sexual harrassment so as soon as they got the opportunity for something better, especially now he was too busy with his sugar daddy for money than business, they left ; also Loona who never cared for Blitzø no matter what the show tries to tell us abandonned him and never wrote to him again as soon as she got a better opportunity like the ungrateful bitch she is), so both are lonely and heartbroken because of their own behaviors but instead of changing they stubbornly decide to keep living together and the more they do the more resentment grows à la Beatrice and Butterscotch but with extra abuse physical and sexual alike on both sides (Blitz being like "oh you wanted me so much ?! Then you get me!" And Stolas being like "Remember you owe me all of this!") and eternal since demons live forever unless killed. Forever keep each other miserable and hateful as karma hit them. And this thought makes me very happy

You know, I can get on board with this. It's exactly the kind of thing that makes the crazier set of fans foam at the mouth with rage, and if you gave me the option of pressing a magic button and making it canon, I would.
