Some things about watching hadestown live that tragically don’t translate to the recordings:

In hey little songbird, those three little guitar notes directly correspond to the three fates moving remarkably like birds, or perhaps very enthused gossips.

Eva Noblezada puts SO much into her performances. Like sobbing, on her knees, so much emotion.

Orpheus and Eurydice have great chemistry, but Reeve Carney and Eva Noblezada are absolutely magnetic on stage. They bring a depth to their interactions and dynamic that are to die for.

In our lady of the underground, Persephone is flirting like hell with the whole audience. It’s so fun to see, and really makes you feel roped in!

In general, this show does a wonderful job of incorporating the audience. The only time in the recording (live or OBC) that gets close is Hermes saying “you’ve got a lonesome road to walk…” (and the associated verse).

More bits of audience incorporation include:

In Orpheus’s toast in living it up on top, when he says, “and the one we live in now,” carney looks right at the audience. Everyone does. The silence is so tense nobody breathes until he stomps his feet, and you’re almost relieved they’ve looked away, because being seen like that is almost too much.

In Wait For Me, the workers have headlamps and sometimes stare directly at and hold very intense “eye contact” with an audience member. They see you, not that they actually see you more than they can see anything other than their own work right then.

Moving on,

When Hades is doing Papers, he commands the workers, and they look unsettlingly like attack dogs. It’s uncanny.

A recurring style for the workers’ movements is to seem rigid as a statue until a “huh!” or “ch!” which marks them seeming to collapse or falter under their invisible burden

Seriously I could wax poetic for hours about how beautifully the workers move

Persephone sings why we build the wall, and to me it read almost as spiteful. “You want obedience so bad? Well here it is.”

Persephone is honestly so much fun to watch, just in general.

In Living it Up on Top, the trombonist comes down and does a little bit. Unfortunately I can’t tell you more, as I was utterly enraptured by Persephone’s sparkly green dress.

A bit if a rant, but bear with me, I’ve been in this brain rot since seeing RBR’s threads and i just wanna get it out. (Yes i am the same person who hopes that Christian and RBR are so cold in DTS and this is the reason why i believe that there might actually be something going on, slowly brewing and simmering in low heat till it fucking explodes in *hopefully* Ferrari’s face) (if you couldn’t guess, I’m an RBR girl through and through)

Now lets start it from after Singapore, it was the very first time RBR posted Charles and Max, and let’s all be real for a moment, I personally don’t think that there was much to it, I mean, they’ve posted Lando, Fernando, Esteban, Pierre, etc. Its not that weird that they did that. That same weekend, Ferrari fucked up Charles and prioritized Carlos, despite the fact that both had a chance at a podium, but Ferrari (as Geogre said in that heartbreaking radio for any Charles fan) sacrificed Charles for Carlos. And then Fred saying that Charles agreed?! Let’s all just look back at something very slight, Charles is a petty king, he wants to win, he’s hungry, doesn’t want to be second, EVERYTHING that he’s done since karting proves that, but what Ferrari and Fred said that weekend didn’t make much sense. Yes, this weekend was not detrimental for the whole Charles to Red Bull agenda, but it might have been the start to it all.

Fast forward to the triple header, as Japan and Qatar didn’t have much, of course other than padel, but in terms if teams, controversies and fuck ups from Ferrari, there weren’t much.

Austin was the start to it all, the way RBR posted Lestappen VERY CLEARLY on their socials, shows that there’s something brewing, but not by much, its just, yeah 2 generational talents who have fought each other forever in their racing careers, doung it again, etc. But that wasn’t the only case. Red Bull have posted them both together, but so did Christian, and Horner ain’t one to be taken lightly. Everything this man does is fucking calculated, he’s chaotic, but in a way that I don’t think anyone can be, he knows how to play, and play he does. After the USGP with Ferrari’s most famous fuck ups of the floor infringement and putting Charles ONLY on a one stop, where the weather was EXTREMELY HOT on track, and all that with the lame excuse of “oh he’s better at tyre management” despite being on pole, shows something, Ferrari is NOT being a seriou team with Charles, because they then went ahead and were celebrating Carlos’ podium as if their other driver didn’t get disqualified.

On to Mexico, (aka the epitome of my delulus that RB are doing something in DTS in regards to Charles) we have the crazy pole that Charles pulled, as well as his data and onboards being shown along Max and Checo, there were no other drivers who were on that pit wall. We also have the part prior to the GP, where we all saw Christian and Charles arriving at the paddock at suspiciously close (you could say almost together if you didn’t know any better) then waiting for him, by the entrance of the paddock, where he knows Netflix are there and the fans are there, for a seemingly innocent hello (NOT), as well as Christian defending Charles, who had an accident with HIS DRIVER AT HIS HOME GP. You don’t see that, in a normal situation, Charles would be blamed for Checo’s DNF by Checo’s TP.

Onto Brazil, the final major fuck up by Ferrari, which cost a hungry Charles a battle with Max, and a chance at a win, simply because Ferrari decided againts changing the engine, which then fucks up the hydraulics, causing Charles a DNS. In addition to, again, Only his data is along side the RB boys. During this weekend, you could feel the shift in Charles, like he couldn’t take it anymore, he’s done being the scapegoat, the rag that Ferrari could do anything they want as he’s their Il Predesinato, he’s HUNGRY, he wants to win, and Ferrari simply for the last 5 years were unable to provide him with what he wants.

That’s how it was in Vegas and Abu Dhabi, Charles fought, he fought hard, and you might even feel like he’s hell-bent on getting these podiums, to show Ferrari how much they fuck him up during races, and what he’s capable of when they don’t.

All of that while both RBR and the official F1 accounts are pushing the Lestappen agneda, posts, Max’s statements that are kind of throwing shade at Ferrari, mentioning that he would mind anyone (while blatantly pointing at Charles) to be his teammate if checo were to leave by the end of the 2024 season, the RBR garage and team being friendly with Charles a bit too often. And then the most recent posts of putting Charles on the RBR Christmas tree, while Yuki, who is closely more related to RBR isn’t, and the most recent thread of “claiming” Charles,

RBR, Horner and even Marko are not stupid, they know how to stir a pot, how to cause chaos and drama, how to be cold, how to be that young team that could seem innocent, approachable, intriguing, in order to get what they want, how they want it and When they want it. And the fact that we know nothing of the new season of DTS, Ferrari just posting shit trying to distract from the fact that they haven’t announced Charles renewing, and they way the talk has died down about it, in addition to trying to distract from the RBR Lestappen saga on all socials that is happening rn, shows that there could be something, something thing, detrimental, vold as fuck and chaotic as fuck. Another thing that I have forgotten to mention is the whole Twitter saga that happened because of Will Buxton and Albert Fabrega around the time of the Triple header shows that there is Chaos that’s going to be unleashed, could be in DTS. And what’s Chaos with the Agents of Chaos?

So the EarthSpark and CyberWorld situation thickens!

A planning document was leaked. “Confidential”, my actuator. I’m not sharing the pages for safety reasons but I have them saved and as of typing they’re floating around TFW2005.

One page shows a design for EarthSpark Mirage, and he’s the G1 design just run through an ES filter.

Another page refers to a series of Quarterly Priorities with Quarter 3 unveiling Transformers CyberWorld. The following Quarter still has CyberWorld, but confusingly refers to EarthSpark specials set in S2.

The document was said to also refer to plans to release ES content in 2026, but it’s theorized this might not be the case anymore as plans may have changed.

The current assumption is CyberWorld is still the replacement series, with the remainder of S2 airing in Q1 of 2025, with CyberWorld airing in Q3 & Q4, but with the addition of specials to presumably close out the ES series. It partly mirrors how Cyberverse ended with two specials, but I don’t really understand how we got to specials to close out a series. Can we just have a couple of specials to close out Animated then if that’s how it’s done now?

This is just… confusing. It’s proven ES is ultimately a failure and the toys don’t sell.

Case in point.

The take away here is kids are still into Transformers but they want nothing to do with EarthSpark, anymore than they did with Cyberverse. These are children’s toy lines, folks, you need the kids to be invested. Prime, Rescue Bots & RiD15 understood the assignment, the others did not.

The speculation that CyberWorld might be a sequel to EarthSpark doesn’t make sense either. Again, like it or not, ES was a failure. No one is watching the show that isn’t terminally online & kids aren’t wanting the toys. They want TMNT Mutant Mayhem & Tales of the TMNT via a recent shopping trip. Why would Hasbro invest more money in a sequel show to their worst performing toy line?

Not only that, but shouldn’t the Terrans still be involved here? A sequel series that excludes them doesn’t make a lick of sense, realistically the toy leaks should mention Twitch & Thrash bare minimum. Galvatron also doesn’t make sense, as why would Megatron evolve into Galvatron if he’s good now due to Unicron or some mystical means. Unless it’s a separate character as others have assumed Meg Bull might be Megatron as a bull or bulldozer. …But ES Megatron being a bull or bulldozer doesn’t make sense either.

Now that said, if it’s an evolved Megatron, I could see the show, if it’s indeed an ES sequel, try to explain it as Quintus Prime and the Cyber Sleeves evolving Megatron into Galvatron, with the catch being he’s now half Terran and has inherited some of Quintus’ power. We’ve seen this before where TFP Megatron becomes part Sharkticon using a Sharkticon Matrix.

Though that said this form premiered in the prequel novels, but the toy appeared during Beast Hunters, despite Megatron never assuming the form in show…

The other speculations are this is a kid aimed version of Legacy with a premise similar to Marvel’s Battleworld or it might be a preschool show akin to Rescue Bots.

I could see the Legacy thing, but I doubt it’s a preschool show. Why would you put Galvatron and Scorponok in that? Sky-Byte is more believable if it’s his more cartoonish RiD personality but not the other two going by how RB/A worked by having no Decepticons or having former Decepticons become Autobots like Wedge and Laserbeak.

Hopefully NYCC sheds some light on CyberWorld & the fate of EarthSpark as I think we all need further clarification. ATM my guess remains CyberWorld is the replacement show and toyline to generate interest in kids, but EarthSpark gets to concurrently ride off into the sunset with its specials. You would think the specials would air first and THEN they’d air CyberWorld…? Not that it matters as the EarthSpark toys will still be on clearance racks by then anyway. I hope my theory about Terratronus becoming New Cybertron in city mode comes true though if nothing else. I suppose it could be fair to say the remainder of S2 is the finale, while the specials are an epilogue that sorts out some final Decepticon, GHOST & Quintesson stuff. Seeing new Terrans would still be nice even if they don’t get toys.

Funny in retrospect now how many people were convinced RB should keep Checo because it wouldn't matter, Max would win the championship on his own anyway.

RB definitely got a little too comfortable lately and put everything into Max and didn't think a team would ever actually put two top drivers together. And honestly, I don't blame him, we all thought that.

So I bet Christian is panicking a little and scrambling to secure someone next to Max for 2025 now.

Currently, the imminent downfall of Red Bull is my Roman Empire. They may be on a high given Max's record-breaking year, but don't be fooled. It seems like they might've already hit the downforce ceiling on the new regs (meaning they're basically sitting ducks in the aero department waiting for others to catch up), they're losing a bunch of their engineers who worked on these miracle cars to Ferrari, and whether Max fully retires from F1 or not, I don't see him staying at the team past 2028.

Red Bull are fine for now, and will probably win the championships next season if we're being realistic, but the Charles/Lewis/Fred powerhouse at Ferrari is going to start being a very real issue very soon and Red Bull don't really have any star material waiting either in the wings or in the junior series, as opposed to Merc who at least have Kimi Antonelli. Liam Lawson could be a good addition to the main team, but he needs time in a junior team first and Red Bull are likely to be hesitant to make the same mistake they did with Alex Albon. Additionally, Liam Lawson is an excellent driver, but isn't on the same generational talent level as Charles/Max/Lewis, and even if he had a season in Alpha Tauri now, would still be a little too green to try and partner Max Verstappen in Red Bull against Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc.

I think Red Bull's likely long-term plan is to move Daniel up til the end of the new regs, then try and poach either Lando or Oscar from McLaren, or both. I think Oscar would be their first choice and Mark Webber would be a factor to consider in that move (although I don't know enough about the Mark and RBR situation to comment on whether his past with RB would be a help or a hindrance to them trying to get Oscar).

But yeah, in hindsight, this has been why Christian Horner has been so desperate to try and sign Lando, and also why Lando was quickly tied down by McLaren so soon after Charles's contract was announced (@thearchercore has an excellent analysis pointing out why Lando's contract signing and announcement had to be have been rushed once news of Charles's broke), likely someone got wind of this coming and Zak Brown very quickly spotted that this was going to leave teams who have clear n1/n2 line-ups in a dire situation.

TLDR: Red Bull dominates for now but their days are certainly numbered

I read the article and I have some thoughts.

Sacked or Promoted.

From multiple sources we've read that Daniel is very much in the running to get that seat which means he is showing some form enough for them to consider him so how can someone who is actively being linked to the seat in the MAIN team simultaneously in danger of losing his current seat?

2. Lawson in for Ricciardo midseason (Rumour we've been hearing from race 1)

Vcarb has been marketed as a sister team and no longer a junior team. They were able to pull in big sponsors like cash app and Visa. Daniel is in Visa's current ad.

So I assume that when RB were trying to get in these sponsors, they obviously would have used Daniel and the shift from being a junior team to a sister team. It would make no sense to remove him midseason for no reason.

They must not think we forgot about the articles everyone wrote about Daniel losing his seat in Miami.

3. Help or Hindrance.

"It's fair to wonder whether if this version of Ricciardo would be a help or hindrance to Red Bull in the constructors' fight."

Honestly, anyone who is wondering this right now has a bias against Daniel because surely nobody thinks he would be worse than what they currently have. In the VCARB he is qualifying around the same place as SP and even better at times. He is able to keep it clean and out of the walls. There is no way he would be qualifying p9 in a VCARB and do worse in a RB.

4. Missing something.

"Ricciardo is missing something from the form he showed between 2014 and 2018."

5. Only one without a contract.

It is of my personal opinion that he was not announced because they knew they might need to change their drivers considering SP's form last year.

In addition to that, the timing of both the article where Marko said that LL has a seat next year and that it is still a junior team and Yuki's contract announcement was odd, rushed even.

Everyone, including upper management and Daniel give wonderful PR answers when asked on race weekends about any of this and they dance around the questions.

6.Regutitated news and Daniel's form.

A lot of the articles are basically the same thing with a new opinion worded as an option or a new "source"

F1 twitter would love to say that the better driver is the one who gets the points and yes, usually it is but Daniel's form has picked up since that chassis change and he has been on form ever since. He has put his best foot forward in every race weekend but continues to be let down by the team and that is why it was so important for VCARB to take accountability in public because writing it in your post race debrief that barely anyone reads isn't it, not when people are seeing that he went from p9 to p12 and writing think pieces on why he is "washed."

Also, if the team can look at data and strategy from Hungary to determine that Daniel had a faultless weekend then I am pretty sure they can look at data and strategies from past weekends.

7. The upgraded RB and high pressure.

There are concerns that Daniel might struggle in the upgraded RB but I don't think this upgrade will last long. Max hates it and surely, they won't continue with something he hates. A car that Max likes to drive is also one that Daniel likes to drive.

In general RB is a high pressure team but the situation they are currently in is even more high pressure than a normal start of the season situation. Daniel already knows the team, he knows the pressure situation there. He knows all the off track things, he just needs to get it together on track whereas someone else might still need to deal with the off track pressure and getting used to it.

I am heavily biased and I want Daniel to get the seat HE wants but I also want him to in the sport until HE is ready to let go and currently, he is not ready to let go. He has shown he still has it and he has shown that he can get the results even in difficult situations (ie: whatever the hell that quali was on Saturday.)

But putting my bias aside, I don't think Red Bull are ready to lose him and I think he would be the best choice for their current situation.

Decided to make a complicated diagram of the main people in RB but it’s not gonna fit words so I’m writing everything here. All of the info is going to be the basic info for lack of spoilers and lack of time to write.

Long infodump under the cut:

Obviously, we have the siblings; Hamatos, Umigames, the step siblings. But how are they with each other?

The Umigame twins have a very rocky relationship with each other, but they do need each other and have been each others safety for years.

The step siblings… well. The usual. Kendra manipulates Jase etc. eventually Jase stands up to her though, after mutation.

The Hamatos are mostly the same, but now have new concerns for each other: Leo’s avoidant behaviour, Donnie’s smoking, Raphs meltdowns, Mikey’s tremors. Also, Frida isn’t a Hamato

Then we have the romantic relationships

Aris and Donnie go from strong loathing to severe codependency. They’ll get antsy if they haven’t seen each other for a more than an hour. Jason and Aris go from friends to partners, but Donnie and Jase are very jealous and often are competitive with each other, sometimes even after actually getting together themselves.

Kitsune and Chizu ran away together in their early teens, as Kitsune was homeless already and Chizu was suffering in the Neko Ninja clan. Very in love. They’re wholesome. Judge people together.

Leo and Usagi, the stars of the show, have a very shit relationship. They’re very loving and caring in human form, at first not knowing the other wasn’t truly a human person. Leo struggles with saying I love you, and it hurts Usa a lot, but he tolerates it for his comfort. But in their natural forms things are really… Okay they’re just really complicated and you’ll see

While also dating Sheena, Jennika eventually ends up with Frida and Plato as well. The two end up together as a frenemys to lovers first, and Jenny is an eventual addition. Jenny and Frida work as big mamas assistants together, Frida having worked for her since childhood

Other Relationships

Plato is best friends with Raphael. They wrestle, have feelings jams. She’s also the person she ends up sharing a room with when the Umigames are forced to move in. Aris, however, is intimidated by Raphael, and tries to leave her alone. She scares him.

Plato isn’t too close with Mikey, but they sometimes cook together. Aris also isn’t too close with them but they give him little Dr Feelings sessions, which he used to ignore until meeting Dr Delicate Touch.

Plato is also pretty close with Leo, but they tend to make fun of each other. Since Leo reminds Aris of his twin, he finds him annoying and doesn’t like his company… much. Sometimes he’s tolerable.

Plato doesn’t like Donnie at all. He went from hurting her brother and now he’s in his pants? Hell no! She annoys him a lot. He doesn’t like her either. She’s worse than Leo.

Leo and Donnie don’t trust Frida, and neither does Raph but she… tries to be nice. Mikey LOVES her and considers her family even though she isn’t related to them in the slightest. It’s a lot like the Draxum situation.

Aris doesn’t just not trust Frida, he HATES her. Which sucks, cause if he got past his Big Mama Trauma TM, they’d probably be close friends.

Mikey is very close friends with Jennika and goes to her for intel on Big Mama, Leo thinks she’s dope, Raph sometimes spars with her. Donnie doesn’t like her but they’ll tolerate her presence. She’s useful.

Everyone fucking hates Kendra. Except Kitsune, Kistune thinks she’s cool as fuck.

Donnie has Kitsune steal things for him, and he’s pretty good friends with Chizu because Autism to Autism Communication.

Gen and Raph are also pretty close! They met before the rest of their little teams met each other. Small world.

Mikey likes Usagi, but nobody else in the family trusts him. The boyfriends get NO trust in those families.

Gen took Chizu and Kitsune in when they were younger. His parents were never home anyways. Eventually he decided he was adopting Usagi as a little brother too. They’re family now. You can’t stop him from collecting siblings.

Aris and Chizu made out once when he was 15 and she was 16 and then never talked about it again. They’re casual friends now. Don’t really talk much.

I love Halo-halo...Anyways, allow me to introduce myself! I am known as RB. I was bitten by an extraterrestrial Redback spider. His name is Kanan, and what makes him extraterrestrial is his Symbiote form he injected on the right side of my neck, hence his name. He bit me when I got caught in my own web, being cornered by my boss and his subordinates from a mafia I work for...

Let's rewind a bit...

I work as a sketch artist for the police department. Can't do much with the pay that I have, especially with my circumstances of being both a woman and of a lower class. my Tito(Uncle) Aaron, works as a bartender at a pretty okay saloon. Our pay is enough to allow us to sustain ourselves in this grand, lively city despite the state of our economy so, it works out. Thing is, my Papa, my grandfather, was KIA during WWII and left me and my uncle a large sum of money we keep for absolute emergencies. As far as we knew, we were the only ones who knew about his inheritance until a little later down the line when I'd get surrounded and pinned to a wall by men in suits in a dark alleyway. Cliche, I know, I told them that too. They introduced themselves as Papa's former subordinates who were left with distasteful lives because of Papa's business with them. Until this day, I have yet to find out what tainted my Papa from being someone other than a sweet military guy but they threatened to hit the nail on my own coffin and harm my Tito in addition if I declined their offer to not only provide my Papa's old documents but to become their hitman. Someone who could do their dirty work for them in order to take down other mafia rings and eventually rise to the top as millionaires.

...

So...I took the option to withdraw those threats. I joined the mafia as their new hitman, all while having to keep this all from my Tito. It was rough, I couldn't take anyone's life just like that, and that is where we left off. With Kanan, such a transformation as such into a Spider-Person was gorey and unsettling, to say the least.

Kanan told me not to worry about it. Not to worry about them.

And the next thing I remember was my vision blacking out and gaining my own conscious back to shaking my boss' hand surrounded by the pools of mixed blood around us.

I'm still a sketch artist, and I'm still a hitman. And I'm still the RB. Needless to say, I've grown desensitized to my double life. I've gotten to be a better hitman, but it's not something I'm proud of and it's never going to be something I will be proud of. And one day, I'm going to bring this entire mafia down with me.

I'm just glad I'm not alone.

🐍🦅Ryder and Gabriel (RB) because the friendship between these two was utterly heart breaking during how it began to fully form after the first Elysian Mate bond but the devotion to eachother that they end up with is UNMATCHED in the Ruthless Boys series.

💙❤️‍🔥Darcy and Tory (ZA), these two have such a strong relationship, I mean their bond transcends the effects of the shadows from the very first moment that they use them. They were my rock, my fall-to relationship throughout this whole series and it hurt when they were separated and at odds the most.

The award for Best Chapter goes to:

🦁💜🐍Chapter 21 - Warrior Fae (RB) was SO FUNNY. Leon was a genius and that's all I'm going to say. 🦇🦅Chapter 19 - Warrior Fae (RB) was so fucking bizarre but so absolutely hilarious that it makes sense that why 'Orio' and 'Noxy' are bonded by the stars because what other friend would not double over in laughter when that happens.

💙❤️‍🔥Fire trial chapter in Darcy's POV (can't find what chapter it was) in The Reckoning (ZA) because they were so damn badass when they literally WALKED. THROUGH. FIRE. Like, goddamn. I would gladly join the A.S.S. and bow to Tory and Darcy.

💙🦇Chapter sex ed - The Reckoning (ZA) when many readers where reading the chapter through the gaps in their fingers and tears of disbelief and laughter. It was so bloody funny!

The award for Best female Character goes to:

💜Elise Callisto (RB), while yes there was limited amounts of female characters that were actually good in the Ruthless Boys series, Elise was still a complete badass and she deserves more recognition then I'm giving her in this.

💙DARCY VEGA (ZA) because this girl is amazing in every way. Imma just sum up her brilliance in this quote in which she cut Seth down to size; "Iron is made stronger in the hottest part of the fire, Seth. You didn't break me, you forged me.” I am in love with her.

The award for Best male Character goes to:

🐍Ryder Draconis (RB) because he was tied favourite with Gabe but since we barely see Ryder in the other books there is more excitement at the prospect him popping up in them.

🦇Lance Orion (ZA) THIS MAN OWNS MY SOUL. I would be his doormat if he asked me to. If he told me to. Even if he looked at it, I would materialise into it and feel honoured when he stood on me.

The award for Best Book of the Series:

3️⃣The Reckoning - (ZA), this is my comfort book. It is before all the awful shit stars to happen at the scarily fast rate that it does for the rest of the series. Plus, BlueLance forms.

5️⃣Warrior Fae - (RB) because this is where everyone gets all mushy squash and the ✨group activities✨ were great. And when they actually got on there was some absolutely amazing scenes between them all and it warmed my wounded heart.

The award for Most Heart breaking Moment goes to:

🚨🦁THE CAVE WITH EVIL, SIREN, THERAPIST BITCH AND LEON. (RB) That scene made me bawl my eyes out at like five in the morning and it was NOT pleasant. Not fun.

🐉💙❤️‍🔥Y'know what? Nobody talks about it and it annoys me. When Catalina is given a star divorce by Darcy and Tory, that shit was heart breaking because of how unhappy she was for YEARS until that moment. It was a happy moment only because she had escaped.

🐉Catalina Acrux (ZA) because this woman was so strong and despite that she treated the twins, Orion, the Heirs and both of her boys with so much of the motherly love that most of them were missing growing up. She deserved every little speck of happiness that she could carve out of the world.

🍰Middle Kipling (RB) HEAR ME OUT! He provided so many weird ass moment that had me in tears of laughter every time. For example, the wedding?? That was peak comedy.

The award for Most Overrated Character goes to:

🦟Melinda Altair (RB specifically) I did not like her one bit in the Ruthless Boys series, I mean she outed them and almost got Ryder killed, brutally, many times. Idc that she is Elise's or Caleb's family, she was a bitch in those books.

🧛🐟Caleb Altair and Max Rigel (ZA) the only times that these two are not completely unbearable are when they are with their ships. If it wasn't for Seth and Geraldine they would be such extremely pointless wet blankets. Granted, they have some leeway with this because they are useful in the seventh book but other than then they are just kind of... there.

Now, finally the honourable mention goes to...

🐀Eugene Dipper! I loved this little guy when he appeared in both series'. He was funny and he became a much stronger Fae by the ZA books and I think he deserves a mention because he managed to escape Lionel's grip.

I’ve just watched a couple of the TPs post race reactions, as well as saw the strategies that the teams used and we can conclude a couple of things from it:

The Mercedes power unit had quiet a noticeable presence today, especially with Williams, who fun fact, also take a lot of the legal components that they are allowed from Mercedes, according to James Vowles (Zak Brown, where did you dip to now). Alex and Logan both had the pace, and could have been in points today. But the power units on both the cars, in addition to Logan’s steering wheel caused them the race. But the issues were not only in the Williams, Mercedes themselves had issues, with the batteries not working properly or dying. Mercedes, what is wrong with the power units after securing multiple multi year contracts?

You can take the man out of Ferrari but not the Ferrari out of the man (Laurent Mekies I’m looking at you). The way RB handled today’s race was actually shit. Again this team was close to points, even closer than the Williams with Yuki P11. But the way they handled the race, and especially in those last few laps, just proves that Laurent still doesn’t have the handles of how Red Bull teams work, he’s, you could say, still stuck in the Ferrari haze. The car is actually good, which we saw in testing and the data, but the team handling was just shit today, and with this, Red Bull could overlook both of them, even drop one of the 2, for Liam, who was promised (maybe even signed?) a seat for 2025.

Nico is absolutely unlucky, and that is a ghost that is hunting him down. Man had a good start, but that collision with Lance cost him his race, which he could have finished in the point. Also, that Haas has pace, it’s not so bad. Let’s see if the absence of Guenther and the presence of a more technical TP is going to impact the team.

Zhou is impressive. He gained quiet a lot, with gaining 6 places and the car is not that great. I did not know his game.

Ferrari pulled a Ferrari. That’s all that could be said. Charles was very confident yesterday. He even was visibly very upset with the fact that he got P2, to today. Like, yes we don’t know if there was something, but fucking it up to the extent that the car is dangerous to even stop. This man just signed a fucking multi year contract, don’t make him regret it.

And finally, we now understand Red Bull’s runs. The runs that were only (or mainly) on C1, C2 and C3 only. They were able to properly visualize the race. And the fact that we saw how everyone in Red Bull expected the car to be slower shows that they have cooked (Adrain Newey, looks like you did it again). And the fact that these runs of Free Practices and Testing showed correct data of this track, not really focusing on topping the time sheets or any of that shit. They put their heads down and focused on the time sheets that mattered, focusing one race at a time, as well as visualize how the car is going to be and how it will work and react, gathering the data needed for checking the car (in football terms: partido a partido).

So yeah, these are kind of my initial post race analysis. Still want to geek more, but I guess this is enough for now?

I love this analysis so much.

The way VCARB fucked Yuki over by forcing him to let Daniel overtake and proceeding to not even being able to overtake the fucking Haas in front of him is absolutely appalling. I know Yuki has some temper issues he definitely needs to work on when he's in the car, but I fully support his anger this time. The move was completely uncalled for, and VCARB desperately need to realize that they can't put their eggs in the wrong basket. No matter what his die-hard fans say, Daniel is not the future of F1 and Red Bull.

With the exception of Max pulling a very Max race and being superior to the rest of the grid, my favorite part of yesterday's race was definitely Zhou. He did so well, and it was such a pleasure to see him finish P11. I really hope this season will be good for him because I so desperately want him to succeed.

Ferrari being Ferrari was, sadly, not even remotely surprising. But, it's only the first race of the season and Charles still being able to drag that broken fucking car to P4 is impressive as hell.

Red Bull has handled testing and the first race weekend masterfully, and their 1-2 finish yesterday was truly deserved. I have a feeling this season will be a good one for them, even if their domination might not be quite as extreme.

If Daniel wanted a more active role for 23 he would've accepted Mercedes offer or signed with Haas, but he didn't. He wanted to take a sabbatical and take care of his health especially his mental health.

What Horner is saying is merely a repetition of what Daniel has been saying for the past months so anybody using these words as a "aha moment" has clearly been out of the loop and is here to stir shit for no reason (this comment is not directed to anybody specifically).

24 is still far away and most drivers contracts expire in 23 so we wait and see what will happen in that season, in addition to this, now many teams have new TP and I bet this will be reflected on next year performances.

Also Daniel could start his male stripper dream job and I would still be happy for him as long as he is happy and healthy.

Anyone who has sense can see that, by Daniel sitting out, reflecting, rebuilding and taking the time he so desperately needs, it will do him so much good. He will be able to rejuvenate himself if the opportunity does arrive in 24 and he knows within himself that sometimes taking two steps back, can let u take one big step forward. And being a F1 driver u need to have ur head 100% in it, and by the end of this season he was not operating at 100% and that, if he carried on with a team like haas, could have damaged him even more mentally and then started to play danger to him physically.

CBS Challenge League

Taurean was unable to join this year as he was abroad but Jermaine, Laura, and myself joined this 12team - standard scoring league. The app sucks. The scoring sucks. The waivers suck. Boring bland and basic but also challenging. No fantasy players for the Core 4 have been able to win it. Jermaine made it to the superbowl last year and Laura the year before. I believe I did previous to Laura.

The 4 of us have tried for years to challenge ourselves to win this CBS league. In doing so we have beat the ultimate challenge in our eyes.

Will any of us succeed?

Fantrax Experimental League

This league is set up is to experiment with different scoring rules and roster set up (3 QBs for instances). This allows a sneak peak into tweaks for Core 4 Leagues looking to improve or change things up if they so choose. All the Core 4 league owners participate (except T this year).

FleaFlicker Random League For Bragging Rights

This is the pseudo *5th* League for those who want to diversify League formats/apps. Basically a random League to win (not for a physical prize) but to brag they won in addition or in spite of losing in the Core 4.

As for last weeks recaps I didn't have time to do a NFL Division breakdown for the ILL-FL so going to do one here prior to the recaps.

The week before was an AFC North Breakdown

Now we explore my thoughts on the NFC East Division. (Click video below for the recap)🔹️

1.) NY Giants🏈

The G-Men have had a rough go.

First and foremost, the loss of Barkley to a division rival was something so unforseen - it truly shocked the NFL in the off-season. He was the most talented player and was nearly the Giants entire offense last year.

Seems the HBO HardKnocks had a glimpse of what this franchise was intending to do by trying to package Daniel Jones in a trade before a draft to get from the 6th pick to the 3rd from the Patriots to acquire Drake Maye. It was obvious. Unfortunately for the NY Football Giants, the trade details couldn't get hammered out and thus they went for arguably one of the best WRs in this year's class (Nabers).

Although the Giants opted *regrettably* to keep Jones over an RB (someone had to get the big bucks and RB injury history may have spooked them to inact that transaction) they had to go with the league climate of signing a "capable" quarterback. This move, signing Jones 27 yr old, who's health injuries have piled up for himself, has put Giants fans in a tizzy.

The move could prove disastrous for the G-Men.

Dabol doesn't seem to have the same pulse of the team or he simply can't reproduce the same magic from his initial season there.

IF the Giants falter this season, who do they draft?

Jones is in the early phase of his $160 million contract, the franchise pushed off for so long, they seem to have trapped themselves in cap hell.

2.) WASHINGTON COMMANDERS🏛

The Washington Commanders have not done much in the off-season. Most of the moves involved the coaching staff.

The Commanders picked up Kliff Kingsbury (formerly of the AZ Cardinals). Hopefully he can coach up the rookie high draft of Jayden Daniels.

Speaking of Jayden, he has shown some moxy in his first few games. Especially in the Monday Night primitive spotlight. Daniels has shown a propensity to throw in the middle of the field and short routes. His first 2 games only saw a long of less the 30 yards. Not sure if that's causal play calling from Kliff or rookie growing pains. Daniels is a runner but needs to work on his sliding (forward body slides are a bad look).

Dan Quinn is the other piece to this team as the head coach. His defensive minded tendencies could help bring a toughness to a team, that a year ago, sent off their best defensive players in Chase Young & Montez Sweat. Talk about cooking with little ingredients smh.

Terry is still the WR #1 and should have gotten the target funnel - especially after shipping Jahan Dotson to inner division rivalnthe Eagles (see G-Men recap above doing the same with Barkley).

The tightend position wasn't addressed except the acquisition of Zach Ertz who may be seeing the winding down of his career but can still.bring valuable play if healthy. With the TE low productivity across the league, he actually is viable.

Brian Robinson Jr becomes the #1 RB but he is strictly a downhill runner. The pick up of Ekeler has done wonders (even if he has been reduced to the scat-back/satellite RB pass catcher position).

There is definitely an upside to this team. Deeper fantasy Leagues are keeping an eye on Dayami Brown and overall, this team can surprise this season.

3.) PHILLY EAGLES 🦅

The Eagles have mostly retained thier team from the previous year.

There was certainly a slight regression from Hurts 1st year. This year, it seems, a defensive regression is more prevalent. Eagles can be scored on. The back end of the defense is susceptible. They don't get a tone of pressure up front either.

Hurts isn't running as much but the passing game has an uptick with healthy WRs AJ & Smith. BUT, now both WRs are out. Could TE Goedert be the beneficiary like he was in week 3? The newly acquired Jahan Dotson may be their only surefire starting WR but he was traded (in division) for a reason.

Nick (the coach) seems to be outsmarting himself in certain instances in game.

The Eagles main new weapon in Barkley has given them the firepower to overcome the self destructive ways that often have in games. Barkley has shown a new vigor and is seemingly renewed in his energy. It's visible.

The Eagles are still a premier team... but barely.

4.) DALLAS COWBOYS 🤠

How bout dem Cowboys?

Yea it hasn't been great. Aside from the opener, Cowboys have faltered. They have pieces, but is it enough? Can the Cowboys meet expectations?

Dak is still doing his thing and finally got paid right before the season began.

Ceedee Lamb could be argued the #1 WR in the league (Jefferson fans are furious). He is flanked by Brandon Cooks who is not top.tier he used to be but can move the chains. The eye is on Tolbert, the youngin who has shown flashes.

The problem is the RB position. Pollard went to the Titans and now Cowboys had to rely on aging vets Zeek and Dalvin Cook. Dowdell has juice but not sure if he can produce as the every down back.

TE and Kicker especially is still on par for this team. Aubrey is now the best kicker in the league. This guy kicks 50 yard fgs for breakfast.

The defense has been exploited. Even with Diggs and Parsons, Cowboys can be run on. With a leaky defense, the previous strength of this team may be their Achilles heel.

I had an idea i scrapped a bit back about a vehicon making documentaries with a camera in silly little voices and now that's back lmao. Through this whole little ~thing~ mecha would definitely learn that with humans there's more than meets the eye, we as a species are wayyy tougher than they give us credit for. It would also be fucking hilarious to see them dealing with the ocean aa the ocean is a nightmare. Everyone would think these guys are nuts for this, and i can see it going from small things found on patrols to a full on hobby after the truce!

On the allergies thing, I'm gonna say DEFINITELY as in tfp we see Unicron has immune system thingies and in rb the technoorganic dino modes don't sit crazy well with the bots (ie Optimus's rex rampages) so I full well believe allergies are possible. I'm not going to talk about the crypt arm right now, but that probably gives us insight in how transplants and foreign additions. I can entirely see a mech's ventilation system just going "no" to types of pollen and leading to some reactions. There's that guy who cannot touch pine sap or his paint nanites on that area are fucked up for weeks. I have so many words on Cybertronian allergies ^w^

As far as Cybertron having seasons, i think the answer is kinda. From what I can see, they might've worked differently than ours, probably more subtle and less of a big deal than ours. Every depiction of Cybertron I've seen has been a relatively static environment, with certain areas staying whatever temperature they are all vorn round. So this? Earth's seasons probably drive them up the wall

Cybertronians versus weather, terrain, and wildlife is an absolutely great thing to see i love it
