Hello again friends, letting you know we've paused the queue as we're working on something a bit bigger right now that's taking most of our concentration (and is occupying the queue currently).

We've been low on energy lately, so there's no estimate on how long this will take, but hopefully we'll find some motivation to keep on trucking, as it were. We know we'll be quite happy once this little project is done and hope that some of you will at least find it helpful.

Not a scam!

I think by now most of you know about this but I am making my own post about it bc it's important.

A few days ago, a misunderstanding happened, and @malokamohamed & @mohameedibraheem got labeled as scam accounts that stole @supportgaza 's campaign.

That was NOT correct.

As I said, it was just a misunderstanding and yesterday I got in contact with @idocumentscammers @kyra45 @el-shab-hussein and gave them all needed evidence and even Mahmoud ( @/supportgaza ) himself verified that Mohammed ( @/mohameedibraheem ) is his brother & Malak ( @/malokamohamed ) is his sister-in-law. And that the 3 girls (Malek, Eleen, & Najah) are actually their daughters.

They were very quick to answer and made the necessary edits and announcement posts about it you can find here, here, and here. To which I am very grateful.

Thus, Mohammed & Malak's campaign is now verified #240 on this list by el-shab-hussein/Nabulsi/Moayesh , and I vouch for them personally.

Now I ask that you please share their story and donate if you can bc they're very low on funds!

And please notify anyone you know who still hasn't read the update!

the part that fucks me up the most about all of that's been going on is, that palestinians would never in a gazillion fucking years wanna be put on display, for everyone to see like this.

all of the indiscribably horrific footage and imagery coming out of the occupied palestinian territories is deeply and utterly humiliating.

do you think, that for a split second, anyone, regardless of their background, would want to have someone record you literally blown to pieces?

do you think, that anyone in their right frame of mind would want someone to post videos of them crying, calling out for help, lying unconscious, having their own organs spilling out of their bodies?

do you honestly think, that they enjoy seeing the unimaginably horrifying footage of their own people, their own families and friends, their own blood, getting rounded up like animals, stripped naked against their will, tied up, beaten to no end and raped?

but this is what 76 years of their suffering has come to.

the world hasn't listened. the world has deliberately turned a blind eye. the ones in power purposely flip the script and adjust the narrative to their liking, knowing that you and people in your circle will willingly believe and eat it up.

after all, they have successfully run the campaign of "dirty, barbaric, war mongering arabs that have got nothing on their minds, but to blow themselves up and slaughter their own" for decades now.

palestinians are forced to expose themselves in the most vulnerable, raw and primitive manner, because they see no other way out.

this is their last resort, because the ones in power have made it theirs.

palestinians have been served on a silver platter and humiliated on the world stage, yet people still find ways to look away, because this imagery, they would've never wanted to be exposed to billions of strangers, makes these exact people uncomfortable.

the necklace; the one you had asked for as an anniversary gift. 5 years together, things surely had gone quickly.

she always asked you if you wanted anything, if you needed anything. she was happy to present you with the world on a silver platter, should you ask.

though, as you hold the necklace, the weight settling onto your hand, you stare down too closely. you hyperfixate on each individual piece of that stone, looking closely for even the tiniest of faults. and then-

"what's wrong?" she asks you, noticing the way your face slightly falls when you study the necklace in your palm closer.

"nothing is wrong-"

"you do not need to lie for my sake. is something wrong with the pendant?" she reaches for the box, brows furrowing when you pull away.

"it's the one i was wanting. i love it." you tell her, but she it is her turn to frown now.

"let me see it." she holds her hand out, urging you to put the necklace in her palm. it's almost instantly she spots it:

a small scratch on the top left of the otherwise smooth surface.

her jaw clenches, and her fist closes around the gem, feeling it rub against her skin. "i will call the jeweler in to have this corrected."

"no! it's fine! nobody would've seen that, and-"

arlecchino scoffs, holding it up to the light. "i would have noticed easily. you and i are alike in how we observe our belongings closely. if you're not satisfied, i will have them craft a new one."

you seem nervous, and she sighs. "i would not hurt them, despite their incompetence." she reassures you, yet you still decline.

you take the necklace back, holding it close. "that isn't necessary."

she doesn't quite understand. you're unhappy, she's offered to correct it. despite it being a gift, she wants you to be happy.

she does not see your immense guilt.

how you regret asking her for such an expensive item as this. how you wish you did not look so closely at everything to immediately find fault in what should've been a cherished surprise.

"regardless," she interrupts your thoughts, gently cupping your cheek. "this necklace is my gift to you, and it is now yours to do whatever you wish with it. you may take it to the jeweler to have it fixed, or you may keep it as it is. that is up to you. i only want you to be satisfied."

she watches you clip it around your neck, gently placing your hand over the stone. "i want to keep it as it is. to me, it isn't a fashion accessory. it is a gift from my husband. the thought is what matters to me. i did not mean to offend you by being so... picky."

"nonsense." she brushes you off, gently kissing your forehead. "as your husband, it is one of my duties to ensure your happiness. i would not want you to fake a reaction for me."

"this was supposed to be a gift. i've ruined the moment." you frown, suddenly looking down. though it lasts but a moment as she captures your chin and wipes the tears threatening to fall.

she pulls you into her lap, settling you down against her as she smooths a hand down your back. "i still love it. thank you... for listening to me." you murmur and she kisses the top of your head.

"that is my job." she smiles softly, knowing you cannot see her here. "we should get going soon, though. the children will be waiting for us for dinner." she tells you softly, pulling you to your feet. "marriage is a difficult thing to master. i only want to see you happy."

For fellow intersex people who use AFAB/AMAB for how you're perceived or treated: please don't do that, either. I will outright say that I was also a person who did this out of ignorance, but that's also why ai know and believe it is important to learn and avoid making similar mistakes as I have, hence why I'm making this post on sequence. For this, I would like to propose a few different terms for this...

♀️ Perceived As "Female" In Collectivity (PAFIC); a term for those who, regardless of their actual biological sexing (or their forcefully assigned sex), are perceived as "Female". This can occur for many reasons, most of which are up to the user decide on regarding their own experiences. This "Perceived Femaleness" is commonly dyadic/perisex/endosex, but it can be intersectional with many forms of oppression (E.G.: Transmisoginy, Queerphobia, Racism, etc.)

♂️ Perceived As "Male" In Collectivity (PAMIC); a term for those who, regardless of their actual biological sexing (or their forcefully assigned sex), are perceived as "Male". This can occur for many reasons, most of which are up to the user decide on regarding their own experiences. This "Perceived Maleness" is commonly dyadic/perisex/endosex, but it can be intersectional with many forms of oppression (E.G.: TransAndromisia, Queerphobia, Racism, etc.)

⚧️ Perceived As "Thing" In Collectivity (PATIC); a term for those who, regardless of their actual biological sexing (or their forcefully assigned sex), are perceived as a "thing". This can be read as being perceived as both of the constructed sex binaries, being tossed around between the two previous perceptions, being mistreated for not fitting into the previously mentioned two binarified extremes of biological sex, and whatever else fits the user's experiences. This term can be intersectional with many forms of oppression (E.G.: TransAndromisia, Queerphobia, Racism, etc.) — ALTERNATIVE NAME WOULD BE "PERCEIVED AS SOMETHING ELSE IN COLLECTIVITY" (PASIC).

Note: The word "thing" has been directly used to me and many others, hence why I'm using it here. You're free to use PASIC, or even PADIC ("different") if you feel more comfortable doing so.

I hope this can help not only intersex people, but the entirety of the queer community. Being perceived often causes us issues that we don't immediately/often unpack or clock, nor contextualize for ourselves — I think it's important for everyone to understand how being perceived can affect you in society, and affect you as a person.

That being said, THIS TERM IS INCLUSIVE OF ALL PEOPLE. The term has been made with the focus on giving intersex people their terminology back, so naturally this may be used by everyone who wishes to be respectful to intersex people who were forcefully assigned a made-up "binary sex" during their youth.

Read: ANYONE may use this terminology. Dyadic/endosex/perisex AND intersex people. So many of us can be perceived as any of these terms, and it's important to let intersex people have their rightful terms back. Please give this a place in your thoughts.

honestly, it feels a bit of a disservice to me how people immediately label kotoko as someone who doesn't care for the people she saves when there's clearly a much more interesting relationship at hand here!

we know how kotoko gets when she doesn't care: she's stone-faced, she's self-assured, she's above it all ...but when a scared little girl hugs her? she doesn't roll her eyes or click her tongue; instead, she freezes, sweats profusely, and yanks the child off her. she just murdered someone seconds ago but it's the child she's antsy with?

I SRSLY didn't want to make a post about this but I panicked while checking the Ranfren OC tag so....

Personally, I refuse to believe the community has gone "toxic" JUST because of a few people who always go on anonymous. I srsly refuse to believe it cus it's simply not true. Im not saying this is OUR entire fault but it also kinda is, as we gave those people what they wanted, attention. Which caused them to continue and continue, when we could've just laughed at it and go on with our day. I have counted how many bad people there were in this community, 5 FIVE PEOPLE. You're gonna let five people make this community less then it already is? No, we're strong, we passed so much and have gone through the stages of these 5 people and were all still here posting our OCs.

Don't let fools make you deactivate and be afraid, you're doing exactly what they want. I also had thoughts about deactivating, but I didn't want to give them what they wanted. And it helped! Cus people who hated on me have long stopped doing so!

Everyone has their own special place in the fandom, I imagine it as we all have our special role in here, don't lose that role to a probably 12 year old who probably just came from the Demon Slayer OC community. You're special, we're all special, we're all family. And we shouldn't break apart because of some children.
