a lot of people look up to angeal, due to him being a first class soldier! everyone thinks highly of him and has a lot of expectations for him

so when angeal begins dating you, a soldier with a much lower rank as himself, that can barely hold their own sword and is constantly getting injured in battle, people are confused!

naturally, everyone assumes angeal would date someone within his own league! and you often hear people whisper when you're with him, wondering what he sees in you

people even suspect that he's only dating you to seem even stronger and more impressive next to a weakling like you!

but angeal couldn't care less about your battle skills! that's not at all why he's dating you!

angeal likes you for your kindness, your determination to keep on fighting, no matter how often you lose and your confidence to do what you love, despite what people say about you!

he's always quick to defend you when anyone talks badly about you. if it's a subordinate of him, he'll make them train all day, until they're too exhausted to even say your name!
