The following tinkers are all given 2 months to create a basketball team of 5-9 players. These teams have to be entirely made of their creations.

The only limitations are everything has to be bipedal and have a vaguely humanoid shape, cannot have more than 8 limbs (tails count), and cannot be above 7 foot tall.

They then do a tournament. Assume that those that can't explicitly create drones (i.e mannequin) can turn existing stuff into drones. So mannequin could create a drone version of his current weird body as a 'player'.

Directly attacking other players is not allowed but indirectly is. Any damage is repaired between matches. Distorting the field by doing things such as creating acid pools is allowed, so long as the hoop itself is still accessible. Blocking the hoop in any way is not permitted. The ball must be accessible at all times - no teleporting it to alternate dimensions. No teleporting long distances in general, and ball modification is not permitted. Flight or wall climbing is not permitted.

Anything else goes.

Genuine question, did anyone ever ship Eidolon and Hero together or was I the only one?

I remembered thinking it was tragically romantic for Eidolon to desperately reach for a healing power while holding the dying Hero in his arms and still fight off the Siberian. I got reminded of it every time he talked about his powers diminishing. I'm also like 90% sure they operated in the same city too and they have the minor Greek theme with their names that plays into the tragic dying in combat thing.

I love the triumvirate + Scion because they all are different interpretations / parts of Superman as a character. Or at least i see them as that.

Legend is Superman as the big blue boyscout, the idealistic hero who is always there to save the day, Superman as the moral paragon. Also you could say his powers may be inspired a little bit by electric blue Superman.

But Legend is also Superman without that same outlandish level of power that makes that idealism posible.

Alexandria is Superman as the man of steel, the unstoppable force, the flying brick to end all flying bricks. She is Superman as an untiring untouchable being.

But she also is a more cynic Superman. Things are how they are and she can only try so much. She is a colder Superman.

Hero is Superman as the man of tomorrow, the golden age "science can do anything" feeling.

But he also is the death of superman, the death of golden age whimsy. If Vikare's death wasn't the start of Worm as the setting we know then Hero was.

Eidolon is Superman as the action ace, the hero that can do anything, the superman who could do any shit you can think of (like throwing smaller supermen from his hands), he is a hero who has whatever power the plot needs (And that to me is a little 'batman with his bat-belt esqur idk).

But Eidolon can't inspire for shit, he is the most bland guy ever and he is only held up by good PR and Cauldron.

And Scion is Superman as the last son, an alien fully disconnected from humanity, all the power but no real reason to use it because of his lose.

Every "superman" in worm is incomplete, if they have the power they don't have the moral compass or the ability to inspire, if they have the guts they don't have the power.

It's tragic but very well tought out.

To see their fragments in the present, whether it's their name or their achievement as one of the cookies who went against a beast... Or to know how they're known as a cookie who loves a beast until their end.

Shadow Milk Cookie does not take your betrayal well.

Not agreeing with his philosophies is one thing, but acting out against him— helping those wretched witches seal him away— he won’t forget it. He stews in his rage, replays the moments of your treachery over and over again. He doesn’t blame you, he blames the witches. Those cowardly, despicable, rotten farces of gods. You are incredibly misguided by them, that’s all it is. You just need a little shove in the right direction, and once he escapes, he’ll happily provide that.

While Shadow Milk Cookie does not think you are at fault, he does believe that your actions warrant some sort of punishment. He pours himself over this during his imprisonment; ways to get back at you, make you suffer a little before he feels you’ve earned his forgiveness. Nothing he thinks of ever feels severe enough, there is nothing you could possibly do to mend his broken heart. (Perhaps if you stay by his side; spend the rest of eternity repenting and groveling, proving your loyalty and remorse, never estranging yourself from him again… maybe then, he’ll consider taking pity on you.)

After he breaks free from imprisonment, he’s all smiles and theatrics. Naturally, it’s a deceptive cover. Beneath his conniving grin is a deep-seated resentment. He tears the silver tree asunder with a manic smile and a burning desire for revenge. There are many things he intends to reclaim:

First of all, the other half of his soul jam.

He’ll run circles around that false little hero— as he finds that Pure Vanilla is surprisingly susceptible to corruption. It’s an excellent warm-up after laying dormant for so long, and Shadow Milk Cookie intends on enjoying every second of that thief’s descent into madness.

Then, once that’s out of the way, he’ll come for his silly, misguided, deceitful little lover next.

Calypso x Leo SUCKS, here is why

Look, I get why that sounds harsh, and it is, but hear me out.

First and most importantly, Calypso is a pedophile. We see her fall in love with 14 year old Percy, then 15/16 year old Leo. Already weird, right? And look, if we got some explanation as to why it would ever be okay for a titaness who is thousands of years old to fall in love with CHILDREN, maybe I could see past it.

BUT in the odyssey myth, Odysseus was MUCH older than a teenager. He was already noted to be an old wise king (who was old enough to feign madness from old age) at the START of the Trojan war. Now that war lasted 10 years and add to that the multiple years he spent traveling to Ithaca, and you got an old-ass man. So either Calypso was already a mature adult, or a child thirsting after some old dude. Sure, it happens, but weird. Let's not forget that Odysseus was married and very much still in love with his WIFE Penelope, but Calypso basically kept him hostage on her island and would not let him leave at all.

Now let's get to Percy, he got blamed for not making sure that the gods kept their promise??? Good sir that is a 16 year old who just got out of a WAR and had his memory stolen, of course he didn't check with the gods. ITS NOT HIS RESPONSIBILITY! He shouldn't be held accountable. Also let me remind you that Calypso wanted him when he was 14. Not a good look.

And finally, we get to Leo. Poor poor Leo. A boy who was oh-so starved for love that he took anything he could get, and that's my explanation as to why Calypso x Leo ever happened. Honestly, I adored Leo. I had a crush on him (still kinda do shhh), I won't lie. However, I also adored Annabeth but since her and Percy are amazing together, I could get behind Percabeth. But Caleo? Hell no. Sure, they have a fun dynamic, but it's more of a sibling dynamic in my opinion. I would've rather had Leo x Khione or something. Maybe Leo x Echo cause that would've been adorable. But Caleo??? No. He should've never gone back for her. Leave her to rot.

Secondly, Calypso is simply a jerk. And I'm the type of person who adores asshole characters when done right. Octavian is great because he's an irredeemable asshole AND he gets karma. But Calypso? She's a bitch and gets such a kindhearted boyfriend in return. Like I said, she tried to pressure a (married) man into sleeping with her and is simply a dick to Leo (HER BOYFRIEND) and I could understand if they were siblings, cause siblings are dicks to eachother with love underneath, but she just sucks. She immediately hated him, which she has reason to do after what happened to her, but even after that she was just horrible to Leo. I seriously don't see why he loves, likes, or even tolerates her.

In conclusion, I hate what Rick did to Leo. I adore his stories like no other (which is why I'm so passionate about this), but he really fumbled the bag here. Calypso is just not a good fit for Leo.

Personally I really do prefer Leo x Jason, Leo x Nico or even Leo x Echo. And yes it does sound weird for me to say that considering that I call Calypso a pedo, but I could see Echo not being able to age normally because of being stuck with Narcissus. Echo x Leo is in my opinion much better than Calypso x Leo.

Um sorry- that was really mean but I needed to say that.

“…what?” Villain asked.

Hero repeated the question, snuggling closer to Villain on the couch.

“Would you love me if I was a worm?”

Villain looked down at them, and a sly grin crossed their features.

“Why don't we find out?” they asked coyly.

Villain moved lighting-quick, grabbing blankets from a basket near the side of the couch.

“Villain, what are you- ack!”

Villain wrapped Hero snugly into a layered blanket burrito. Hero squirmed from inside it, looking quite wormy.

“Hey! Let me out!” Hero pouted.

“Hmm,” Villain said, tapping their finger against their chin.

Villain pulled Hero in close and kissed them. Hero blinked, blushing profusely.

“Yes, my little worm, I still love you,” Villain chuckled.
