Ren: Hello everyone, this is Ren Diggity Dog coming at you with another Hermitcraft episode. I'm here at Impulse's base because Grian bet that I couldn't drink a whole cup of this expired Moopop that he found. Well, you're about to witness me chug the ENTIRE BOTTLE! Impulse: Guys, this isn't what we were supposed to do today— Grian: CHUG! CHUG! CHUG!

personally i think the best hermitcraft season in existence was season 7, like in s7 we get:

decked out 1.0 , voice mod fo rthe first time, helsknight's debut, doc & bdubs divorce, the emergence of doc's GOAT thing, hermit challenges 1.0, turf war, various xisuma skins, xisuma + keralis matching skins, sewer cats, the bamboo lounge, the sleeping turtle, moopop diner, the button 1.0, the podzol party, HCBBS, grumbot 1.0, the mayoral campaign, the attempt of Pacifica, the upside down, the debut of Bdubs' new face, Bdubs' barber shop whose hair cuts stayed for a while!! (keralis STILL has the braids that bdubs gave him)

and maybe some of these things aren't as important for others as they are for me (im a sucker for builds with story and character), but you can't deny that season seven was a starting point for SO many things, and i can't say im surprised that so many hermits want to revisit S7 through new builds or continuing concepts, intentionally or not

You're talking about hermit citizens! I was super into that a year or two ago! (Wow has it really been that long...)

I imagined mine spawning in during the lag spike when the massive chorus tree was broken at the end of the HCBBS countdown, and so having teleportation powers (explaining why I'd still manage not to miss all the stuff going on while no longer being a Watcher) and being able to eat chorus fruit without teleporting, also I headcanon that anything that pierces a chorus fruit teleports so she would be the only one who could chop up a chorus fruit without losing the knife so she'd end up living in Aque Town and working at the MooPop cafe, she might sometimes take a bite out of the purpur since it's technically edible and she's one of the few who still like the taste/texture when it's cooked, also she looks like an enderman-cat hybrid (humanoid shadow with cat ears and tail and glowing magenta eyes) because sewer cats, then in season 8 I imagined that she would live in Boatem for most of the season but move to Hohenzollern for safety when the Mooners stuff happened. (Also around this time I was thinking less in terms of this oc and more about a couple of ocs I have since written a story about entirely separate from Hermitcraft, those two having powers connected to amethyst crystals and twisting vines respectively, so that might be why I was quite so invested in the Nothing virus story!)

But I haven't really thought about it much this season, I guess since I started playing MC Java properly literally on the day the season started it was like my story had fully diverged from the one I was watching, but if I bring back the ender cat person oc, I think she'd still be living in the starter village, showing up wherever to see big events and stuff. Loves reading in/staring in awe at the library nether hub. Also was definitely someone who went through the Rift during the crossover, and this is when she realises she is still partly a Watcher because the place highly resembles some of her dreams!

i swear hermits can make any build work.like they can use the weirdest blocks and some of the most mismatched color palettes and it'll still look absolutely fantastic

I think hermitcraft could have a little bit more citizen au stuff, like. It has so much potential for it! Swaggon Co. is canonically a company with workers. I think it will be neat to have Goodtimes enthusiasts as silly workers with individual hats that are gradually getting weirder and weirder. Scars do be like stealing part of a hotel and getting it on wheels just to stay with their boss. They are all singing while they work like its a musical.

Mumbo's viewers are living in little houses on a giant armchair and doing farming and stuff. They probably all are plant-like in some way and also are extremely violent. They are worshipping some kinda deity that is all about peace and love that gives them magical water to grow their crops extremely fast(speaking about a magical statue on a mountain) and seem like a really weird cult. 

Zed’s viewers are working and being experimented on in the lab! Whatever the hell happening in the lab is concerning but you know, its fun while its going so we will stay here and watch how it will end!

Impulse’s people are lil guys made of candy who work at a candy factory! Or maybe huge guys made of candy! The factory is so large and needs so much work on it!

Xisuma’s gang is split in two, one living in his own part doing their own thing and working on evil empire form the side just doing the technical stuff and other part are just full-on evil empire enthusiasts, running around advertising it, potentially brainwashed but quite honestly they are just Evil Xisuma simps im sorry. Probably place for some cool evil outfits tho!

I do not watch everyone else as much to be talking about stuff like this so its up to people from this places, but its also can apply to every other season you know! In my head it can be like hermits are just all bored dietys who can shape themselves as they want so they are creating new realms and forms for them and their worshippers to live in or something like this! I think its fun and i just love sitizen aus too much. 

You know as a Scar enthusiast in season seven you can work on Big Dig! Live in a magical jungle village! Work at the community house! MooPop factory! Aquetown you know! And There is so much things isnt it fun? I think its a perfect thing to be having fun with sonas or even oc’s, there is so much thing to engage in with your creativity! Shady E-E’s workers! Boomers! Whoever you watch and whatever you want! This fandom has so many things to have fun with because the cc are just so creative every season)
