i think the lore-implications of the alter ego pack are kind of funny like imagine. you think your sister is dangerous so you send her to a different world. none of your friends know about her. you see her again once when you go through a rift in someones basement, but when that rift closes you leave her again and this time youre making peace with it, you think, youre living your life and she's living hers. and then a lot of time passes. and one day Beef comes up to you, and he never even went to empires, but he says 'hey look at this card i made' and he hands you a picture of your sister. what do you even do then

Ir's got my first 4 matches of the HermitCraft TCG Season 2 tourney, against xB, iJevin, Grian, and Cubfan135—plus some scoreboard and game-tracking construction with Cleo!

I spent extra time to render the replaymod POVs in 4k, please try that if you have the right kind of screens to enjoy it! I think it really helps show the detail of the TCG cards!

Absolutely adore ur watcher rt! Been wondering how he would interact with people whove been on evo (if it happened). Or how people like grian would think abt how he acts. On one hand can you blame a guy whos never been mortal? On the other hand would they even know and if they know would they be able to accept it?

I just find it so fun to imagine how rt would react to their reactions and how he interacts with other watchers and related people!

Oh so this is a kind of interesting topic that is kind of actually relevant to the story I've got planned for him.

To keep things as spoiler free as possible, I'll simply say that uhhhh Grian and other relevant (ie. Empires or Hermitcraft linked) Evo members certainly would not like him by the end of the main story arc I have planned out. and that while RT is one of the few watchers who actually doesn't have any real problem with Grian as like. A defector. He certainly may have some more personal issues with him by the end of the same story arc.

I kind of like the idea of him and Grian begrudgingly ending up on the same team at some point though later down the line once RT has had some more character development (think the thing I was talking about in the last post about him butting heads with the higher ups) and realizing they're more similar than they may have thought even if they have different conceptualizations of the world.

my hermit tcg cards arrived and i’m so excited and happy!! i got a signed joe card as well as his holo card, which i’m ecstatic about!! i also got the gorgeous holo xisuma card and all 3 different etho cards (common, rare and holo) which made my ethogirl heart very happy.

(also the collectors edition that came with my order belongs to my sibling because we shared our order to save shipping costs, and since i drew a signed card they got the collectors edition card.)

my sibling and i each got 1 starter box and 2 booster boxes and we've been having so much fun with building our deck and actually playing the game (i have also already destroyed my sibling in a game with the power of time skip)

I love Decked Out for so many reasons; the build itself is beautiful, the gameplay is fun and engaging, Tango deserves it, the competition is thrilling and the deck-building strategy is intriguing. But by far my favourite aspect of the game is how it has brought the Hermits together.

There are almost always Hermits hanging out in the Citadel, and they gather in numbers for the phase rankings reveal and shard distribution. Tango watches as many runs as he can. It is ridiculous fun to see them all interacting and talking and laughing together.

i had a very silly hunger AU idea: so doc seems to have Big Feelings about the tcg. i am picturing him visiting the rushed MP server, playing some TCG against like, xisuma, losing due to the worst luck imaginable, and getting SO mad about it that it wakes grian up out of sheer "there is tasty tasty card game rage in the room with him" despite him keeping the volume down. grian just wakes up to see: cards, a coin, and Doc glaring at the coin cause he wants to hurl it into lava

Oh my gods im absolutely obsessed with this. Doc waking Grian up through the sheer force of his ragequit is SO FUNNY, Grian would be so disoriented about it AKSNSMSMSMSS
