Seeing that we started season 10 with a demise rerun and are getting a lot of references to older seasons, here a small list of thing I would love to see again this season:
1- Hermit base swap
That was so fun on s7 and id love to see it again, especially with the smaller scale hermits want to take their bases this time the swap changes would be even more noticable.
2- Server wide civil war:
Of course asking for ALL hermits to participate would not be realistic, especially taking acount of some lore-phobic tendencies some of them have (like zed, that simply ignored the whole moon thing on s8) but a big prank war like in s6 would be a lot of fun!
3- More apparances of hermits alter egos
I quite like how some hermits have fun alter egos like EX, Worm Man, Helsknight, Poultry Man, Ariana Griande and others and i would love to see more of them! Maybe even some new ones????
4- HERMITCHALLANGES!!
Loved them in s7 and nos with even more hermits and them all being so close together those would be even more fun.
5- Grumbot
Please bring my little terryfing boy back. We love him and Mumbo loves him, grian too tho hes a bit scared after Gb prime. But he deserves to live againg.
I am really enjoying this season and these things would be very fun to see. If you have anything else you would like to see please tell me in the tags!! Im very curious about what people teally liked from past seasons, especially people that have watched from longer then me (i started in s6)
(Also i think it can be seen what season has been my favorite lol)

Magic Tarot 9 - Hermit ☯
Tumblr media
You don’t know this girl, because I have never posted art with her. Once upon a time I wanted to start drawing manga, I came up with a plot, characters, drew two pages, but things didn’t go any further. Therefore, the main character remained only in my memory and on the notorious two pages. In short, this girl is the spirit of an abandoned street, the spirit that she was tied to a specific street and couldn’t go anywhere until the world itself began to collapse. But instead of disappearing along with the dying world, she ended up where the spirits were supposed to go after death, where all the dead from her street ended up, except for her.
And it soon turned out that she had a unique talent for this world. In the world she found herself in, there were countless different superpowers and types of magic, but all these abilities were not very narrowly focused and did not even come close to basic physical laws. The abilities of the pure four elements were considered legendary as the closest to what was considered “primordial magic.” And the spirit of the abandoned street turned out to have an unusual talent - from any place she could return to her street again and “summon” any piece of this street to any place she sees.

spoilers for impulses latest episode and cleos blood on the clock tower round
but OH MY GOD IMPULSE IS SUCH A BADASS. HE PULLED HIS ROLE OFF BEAUTIFULLY. AND ITS SO THEMATICALLY PERFECT. IMPULSE GETTING THE IMP/DEMON ROLE WHILE BEING AN IMP/DEMON IN GENERAL FANON??? PERFECTO. IT WRITES ITSELF. THE NICE SWEET FATHERLY MAN IS THE FEARED DEMON, THE WOLF IN SHEEPS CLOTHING.
AND THATS NOT EVEN TALKING ABOUT HOW HE PLAYED. HOW DEVIOUS HE WAS. HOW THE FINAL CHALLANGE BETWEEN HIM AND VICTORY WAS HOW MUCH THE OTHER HERMITS COULD TRUST HIM. AND THE MAN SAID IT HIMSELF, WHO WOULDN'T TRUST THAT FACE???? BUT THEY WERE WRONG. HE TRICKED THEM. HE TRICKED THEM SO GOD DAMN HARD AND ANYTIME ANYONE WAS ON HIS TRAIL HE THREW 'EM OFF EVENTUALLY. ISKALL WAS ONTO HIM BUT EVENTUALLY VOTED WITH HIM AGAINST XISUMA! AND REN, WHILE BEING THE CLOSEST TO GETTING HIM, ADMITTED THAT IMPULSE GAVE A GOOD DEFENSE AND THAT HE WASN'T SO SURE. AND GOD, HE AND CUB HAD THAT FINAL ROUND IN THE BAG. THE EVIL TEAM WAS GURANTEED VICTORY THE MOMENT IMPULSE NOMINATED XISUMA. BECAUSE HE AND CUB WERE GONNA TIE IT NO MATHER WHAT. CUB AND IMPULSE NEED TO WORK TOGETHER MORE, THEY'RE SO QUICK WITTED AND ANALYTIC TOGETHER.
BUT WHAT IT REALLY SHOWS IS HOW IMPULSE CAN BE SO DANGEROUS BY SLIPPIN' UNDER THE RADAR AND ABSORBING INFORMATION TO TWIST FOR HIS BENEFIT. LIKE HOW HE KEPT PUSHING ON HYPNO'S OBSERVATIONS ABOUT HIS NEIGHBOURS BEING EVIL KNOWING FULL WELL THAT HYPNO WAS DETECTING CUB WHO WAS THE MINION. HE WAS SPEAKING TRUTH, AND THATS WHERE IMPULSE IS AT HIS MOST DANGEROUS. WHEN HE'S TECHNICALLY TELLING THE TRUTH, BUT HE KNOWS MORE ABOUT THAT TRUTH THEN YOU BELIEVE. MAN MAY BE A SHIT DIRECT LIAR, BUT TWISTING THE TRUTH? THATS HIS ELEMEMT. ITS LIKE IF 3RD LIFE WENT PERFECTLY FOR HIM INSTEAD OF HIM GETTING KARMICALLY PUNISHED IN THE MOST FITTING WAY.
GOD I'M NEVER GONNA BE THE SAME CHEMICALLY AFTER THIS. THIS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE OF THE THREAT THAT LIES BEHIND BEING KNOWN AS "THE NICE ONE." ITS A GORGEOUS SHOW OF HOW QUICK IMPULSE IS AND HOW MUCH DAMAGE HE COULD DO WITH JUST HIS DUMB SMILE AND SWEET VOICE AND HELPFUL DEMENOR. GOD. D A M N

In the Challange au, way before Creek's revelation, how much effort does the rest of the Snack Pack go to befriending Branch upon realizing he has a fabulous voice? How was Creeks efforts upon having the realization and having time to process everything he believed and was educated on from his parents were a lie?
Branch goes full hermit post performance so, they gifts at his door step.
Creek tries to find him in the woods to apologize and get answers...and almost get eaten by a carnivorous plant. Branch doesn't say anything, and Creek comes back the next day. Eventually, one day Branch gives Creek a dart to keep in his hair, telling him to use it if anything grabbed him. Creek is skeptical, but that dart is the only reason the chef doesn't take him.
"How did you know it would work?"
"I've been thinking about how to get a bergen to drop you since I watched it take her away. She wouldn't have wanted you to die."

@chillingxy Here's your secret spooky gift! Sorry it wasn't available earlier, the research for this was...a lot. Definitely a challange, and opened up my eyes a lot. So I hope you enjoy, and have a Happy Halloween, y ¡Feliz Dia De Los Muertos!
also @mcyt-halloween
On the 1st of October, Xisuma woke up, put on his helmet, and immediately sent a message in chat.
[xisumavoid]: Everyone ready for the meeting?
[FalseSymmetry]: yup
[Keralis]: Born Ready!
{TangoTek joined the game}
[xisumavoid]: Meet at spawn
He snapped on his elytra, marveling at how the gauzy purple fabric solidified into a harder substance before taking off into the afternoon sky. He planned the meeting to start the meeting as the sun set, so the spooky decorations (appropriate for the season) would really shine through. He chuckled to himself. Get it, shine? ‘Cause the lights…would…shine?
Nevermind.
He ignored the extremely bad pun, instead choosing to focus on not crashing into Grian, who had somehow gotten to the meeting spot before him. Grian turned towards Xisuma as he landed, stumbled and finally managed to plant both feet on the ground a mere block away from Grian.
“Hello Xisuma! How are you doing on this lovely day?” Grian leaned in closer, rocking on the balls of his feet. Xisuma brushed himself off before facing the avian.
“I’m doing good. How about you?”
“Oh, I’m doing ghoul-d” Grian giggled after he said the last part. Xisuma sighed.
“I really hope you’re not doing this until Halloween.”
“Oh, of course not! Once we get past Halloween I’ll start on my winter jokes.”
“Winter jokes? Grian…” Grian simply laughed before walking towards the prepared seats and plopping down on the nearest one.
“Don’t worry, you’ll love them!” He turned his attention to an approaching flier. “Hey Mumbo! Do you want to hear a joke?” As soon as Mumbo landed, Grian bombarded him with his next joke. Xisuma left the two laughing as he started to take inventory of his surroundings.
They were in a forest close by to spawn. The trees not felled by the Hermits held themselves high, against both player and sky. Their boughs were decorated with soul lanterns and jack o’ lanterns, combining with the setting sun to cast an eerie light over the rows of chairs laid out in a clearing. He was quite proud of his setup. In fact, he was so busy admiring it that he didn’t notice Scar until he was blocking his view of the trees.
“Helloo, Xisuma, are you still with us?” Scar snapped his fingers a few times as Xisuma blinked.
“Yes, I’m still here Scar, not AFK.” Xisuma scanned the clearing, suddenly noticing that seats were filled with antsy hermits. “Is everyone here?”
“Yes sir!” Scar mock saluted. “We’re all ready.”
“Excellent, let’s get this show on the road!” He rubbed his hands together before walking onto the stage in front of the chairs. He tapped the microphone twice, causing all the hermits to cease conversation. “Hello everyone, welcome to the monthly meeting! As you know, it’s October, so we’ll be covering possible Halloween events as well as housekeeping. But first, does anyone have announcements to make?” Immediately Tango raised his hand, waving it frantically before bounding onto the stage. His fiery hair whipped and flashes as he excitedly launched into a spiel about the next phase of Decked Out 2. Everyone pays rapt attention to his rant, because of course no one wants to miss out on Decked Out info. Then, after he finishes, another hermit takes the stage. Surprisingly, it’s Joe Hills. Xisuma briefly wonders if it’s about Deep Field, Joe’s massive pinball machine/main base. Considering the outer space theme, it seems unlikely to be updated for Halloween, but not impossible…
Joe placed both hands on the microphones before speaking. “Howdy y’all!” The crowd echoes with brief “Howdy”s and “Hello Joe”s before lapsing back into silence. Joe gives a small smile, then continues. “As y’all know, it’s been about a year since our dear friend TFC passed away.” Now the area is truly silent. Even the wind seems to have dropped dead in its path. “And…I think it’s safe to say that we all miss him. So recently, I wanted to find a way to honor both his memory and his legacy.”
He began to walk across the stage, but at a slow, meandering pace. “I found a tradition, mostly observed in Mexico. It’s called “el Dia de Los Muertos”, or the Day of the Dead in English. It’s a collection of days in early November where the dead are honored, but overall it’s meant to be a celebration, not a wake. Now obviously, it would be hard to replicate the tradition exactly in Minecraft, but I have a plan to stitch together something like it. So if you can help out, please let me know after the meeting, and for everyone else, keep your ears open for an exact date!”
Joe nods once, smiles again, then exits down the steps towards Xisuma. His eyes are focused on the floor, and his arms have migrated to a crossed position. As Joe walks past him, Xisuma grabs his shoulder as gently as he can. “Joe, are you good?”
Joe turned to face him, and X noticed that his eyes were a bit watery. Joe sighed before whispering, “I just…hope it’s enough. I miss him, you know?” He wiped his eyes with the back of his hand. “I hope we can pull it off.”
Xisuma patted Joe on the shoulder. “I know we can pull it off. And I’m more than willing to help with your plan. Just tell me what’s needed, alright?”
Joe gave X a side hug. “Thank you. I appreciate it.” He turned to look X in the eye. “Now, what are the chances we can get marigolds on the server?”
---------------
The chances, as Xisuma found out, were none.
See, marigolds were only available via mods, and the Aztec marigolds Joe had in mind had no mods to their name. So, as a substitute, Stress had provided orange tulips, and was scattering the petals around TFC’s old base. Keralis was sweeping away the dust and cobwebs that had accumulated since the hermits had been there. All the hermits were chipping in to clear and decorate the surrounding area.
Except for Grian, who had made the excuse to wait for Scar’s “surprise delivery”. Xisuma doubted the truth of that claim, but whenever he brought it up to Joe, the man smiled conspiratorially and shrugged his shoulders. “It’s a surprise, X. You’ll have to see for yourself.”
Suddenly, Grian chirped and screamed, “Scar, be careful!!!” Xisuma looked up to see Scar barreling towards the group at…concerning speeds, to say the least. Scar yelled back, “I’m always careful!!” before proceeding to crash head first into a wall.
{GoodTimesWithScar experienced kinetic energy}
[GeminiTay]: LOL
[Grian]: WHAT PART OF BE CAREFUL DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND
{GoodTimesWithScar]: sorry guys!!! is the surprise ok?
Grian walked over to the place where Scar had splatted and gingerly picked up a plain white box. He peeked inside, and let out a sigh of relief. “Good, they’re still intact.”
X wandered over. “What’s intact?”
Joe, who had come over during the ruckus, reached into the box and pulled out a small skull-shaped object. “In Day of the Dead traditions, these are called calaveras,” he explained. “They’re treats for the dead, but we can also enjoy them. Look at the details I asked Scar to do!” X leaned closer, and saw that this particular skull was dyed bright blue on one side, but stayed white on the other. “Is that Jevin, by any chance?” Joe nodded enthusiastically. “I thought it would be cool if they looked like the hermits, even though it’s not traditional.” “It’s a really cool idea Joe! Really cool,” Xisuma said.
They turned their attention to the rest of the base, which looked ready for a celebration. “X, do you have the photo?” Joe questioned. “Yup, got it right here.” X pulled a picture frame out of his backpack, walked over to the front wall of TFC’s base, and hung it on a conveniently placed hook. It was a picture of TFC, in all his black-and-white glory. Xisuma stepped back and admire both the photo and its surroundings. The golden petals, the soft glow of candles, and the last remains of a setting sun gave the whole base a warm light, the same that radiates from a small campfire. He breathes in, then out. Then he turns to the small crowd that has quietly gathered behind him. “Let’s have a good time, shall we?” Cheers erupted from the group. It will be a night of celebration.
---------------
The party is incredible. Food is passed around, glasses are filled with bubbly potions, and everyone all around has a good time. Toasts are made to TFC, friends recall fond memories, and the light surrounding his ofrenda only grows brighter through the night. It’s a night of remembrance and reverence and love.
Eventually, the celebration winds down to a close, as most of the hermits decide to head home when Bdubs begins to loudly snore on Etho’s shoulder (don’t worry, the laughter woke him up). They choose to keep the candles lit overnight and snuff them out in the morning. The crowd slowly exits the base, pulling out elytras and rockets as they go. Eventually, the crowd is down to just Xisuma and Joe. The two decide to walk around TFC’s home one last time before leaving for the night, and that’s when they hear it.
Somewhere off in the distance, the duo hears a soft clink, clink, clink. Joe looks over at Xisuma with a quizzical look. Xisuma shrugs his shoulders. He didn’t have a clue as to where the sound came from.
There it was again, clink, clink, clink. This time Joe pointed over to a small hole leading downwards. It was TFC’s stripmine, located a few blocks away from his base. Xisuma motioned for Joe to follow him as he walked towards the entrance.
Down they went, past stone and more stone and a few leftover coal ores. They reached an area where the clinking got loud. “Is someone strip-mining down here?” Joe asked. Xisuma scanned the area, but saw nobody, and no torches. “Well, I don’t think anyone’s down here. Should we head back up?” Joe nods once before making a beeline for the exit. They make it all the way to the top before Joe holds a hand out a block him. “Look over there.” He points over to where the hermits had gathered earlier.
The petals, previously scattered, were now arranged in a pattern. “Thank you,” both hermits mouthed the word silently before turning to each other.
“Do you believe in spirits?” Xisuma asked Joe. Joe thought about that for a moment then said, “Well, depends. What are the chances that Grian, Scar, or somebody else with a mischief streak snuck back to do this?” “Possible, but not likely,” X replied. “Then,” Joe concluded, “for tonight, yes. I believe in spirits.”
The two stood in silence for a bit, before Joe suddenly said, “Well, I’m exhausted. I’ll see you at the meeting tomorrow?” The hermits had agreed to push back the next monthly meeting until after the Day of the Dead. “Yeah, see you tomorrow Joe.” Xisuma waved to Joe before heading off towards home.
Xisuma walked away, satisfied yet tired. Tomorrow was another meeting, another month, another day forward into the future. Yes, he missed TFC, but he knew that he and the other hermits would carry the man’s spirit with him until he too, faded away.
Somewhere in the background, a wind picked up, swirled the orange petals, and carried them off into a twinkling sky.

So I'm having some persona thoughts, and kind of wanted to compare arcana affinities from p1 and p2. One of the things I like about the games is they show growth not just through dialouge, but also what you can infer from the arcana afinities. I can't say I am an expert on Tarot, but it is something I have looked into and thought about in context to persona. I will probably talk more about the cards in details in the future.
So lets go in order and start with Yukino
Anything with a * applies spefically to her, and stands out as diffrent from the rest of the party.
Best: *Empress, *strength lovers, hermits, temperance, star
Good:almost anything, but what stands out is death, shared with Maki. More on that in Makis
Bad : *preistress, *hanged man, tower, (females)
Worst: moon
So a lot of the p1 stats are pretty standard, as the one with the most notable varriation in afinities is Renji.
I've starred what stands out as unique to Yukino and intrestingly, she has bad afinity with priestess. That stands out to me as Maki has best afinity with priestress and worst with Empress, and they are mandatory on the opposite routes.
For a basic wikipedia definition,
"High Priestess is a card of mystery, stillness and passivity. This card suggests that it is time to retreat and reflect upon the situation and trust your inner instincts to guide you through it. Things around you are not what they appear to be right now."
Or, its the card of intuition and the uncouncious mind.
The other card she has a bad affinity with that isn't shared, is the hanged man. For a basic wiki deffinition.
"Meaning: The Hanged Man is the card that suggests ultimate surrender, sacrifice, or being suspended in time."
It can also be about letting go, and new perspectives.
Another note is both cards share the element of water.
Her best affinity is empress, quick wiki deffiniton below
"Meaning: The Empress is traditionally associated with maternal influence, it is the card if you are hoping to start a family. She can represent the creation of life, romance, art, or new business."
Empress is an earth card, but her zodiac is fire elemental,
Strength is about inner challanges, and mastering them. Something Yukino deffinatly had to do to change her path in life, and lead the party through the towers, and keep their spirits up. I feel it plays a bigger role in two, so more on that later. It is a fire elemental
Yukino is also one of the few who start persona 1 with their card upright instead of reversed, as she had was reversed in her backstory. She was a delinquent and with the help of Ms. Saeko went from reversed to upright. Then she uses that devolopment to rescue her teacher, to lead the party through the tower, and help the girls come to their senses.
Now, lets look at persona 2, where we have some more details
Best: *empress, *strength,(shared) hermit, temperance,star
Good: *lovers, fortune (all)
Normal: emperor, death (girls), chariot, Hierophant, justice, hanged man, devil, sun, world, * moon
Bad : *magician, *priestess, (shared) tower
Card: sword
Now we have some things added. And shifted. Like in to persona 1, she has strength as another best arcana. She comes second highest in p2is party for lovers, is normal for the moon instead of worst, is normal to the hanged man (her previous bad), and is now bad with priestress and magician. Death has now shifted from good to normal, which is intresting, but will probably have more coverage when I do Maki
Interestingly, the elements of the two p1 girls who are not returning party members in this game.
So, magician, basic google wiki
"Meaning: When the Magician appears in a spread, it points to the talents, capabilities and resources at the querent's disposal to succeed. The message is to tap into one's full potential rather than holding back, especially when there is a need to transform something." Element air.
Moon: "Meaning: The Moon is a card of illusion and deception, and therefore often suggests a time when something is not as it appears to be. Perhaps a misunderstanding on your part, or a truth you cannot admit to yourself." Element water
Priestress ,hanged man, and moon, for the first games worst. All water cards, cards about reflection, about uncouncious, about the mind.
I feel this indicates she's more of a lady of action, over thoughtful, which is good for the kind of journey she's on. In contrast to Maki's journey through the mind, shes on a journey through magic, and someone elses. But it also seems to indicate shes not listning to her own needs, her own wants.
Persona is an expression of self, one of the masks you face the world with. Its also an expression of trauma, and not summoned under happy circumstances. I might go more into Jugonian concepts and deeper tarot meaning at sometime when its not 4am. I'm already distractable, lets stay on topic (relatively).
Persona 2, the priestress stays as a bad afinity, and she gains another one. Magician.
Hanged man and moon are normal afinity now, where magician is an oppertunities card.
In p2 shes not at a point in her life of oppertunities, shes not grabbing at them, she's in pause, hesitating, over something internal, is what I get the sense they are indicating. Still not listning to inner self, but not doing anything about that.
And later we learn, she doesn't think she has what it takes to achieve her dreams. No eye for photography, no brains for teaching. Shes not listning to herself, and she's not taking action to make what she wants a reality.
Now what she is good at
Strength
"The Strength Tarot card is the Major Arcana card of inner strength. It represents mastering raw emotions in order to bring calm to yourself or a situation. It is similar to the Chariot in that it represents overcoming challenges. However, the Strength card usually refers to inner challenges."
So a card about inner challenges. And lovers as good afinity.
"Meaning: The Lovers represent relationships and choices. Its appearance in a spread indicates some decision about an existing relationship, a temptation of the heart, or a choice of potential partners. Often an aspect of the querent's life will have to be sacrificed; a bachelor(ette)'s lifestyle may be sacrificed and a relationship gained (or vice versa), or one potential partner may be chosen while another is turned down. Whatever the choice, it should not be made lightly, as the ramifications will be lasting."
So a card about inner chalanges, and a choice card, usually about relationships.
And in the game you do make a choice. A choice about grief and moving on (or not)
In a bad choice scenario, yukino loses. Both of the card meanings are in reverse. She lets grief paralyze her, chooses self love when she needs selfless, she looses the inner challange. Her shadow self (that of ourselves we do not like to accept), goes unchallenged by Yukino, takes Anna, and kills them both.
the preistress is tired of being ignored, the chance to take action, to start new beginnings is long gone. The subcouncious is tired of being ignored. Intresting that it brings Anna into this too, a want she has been ignoring, or a representation of one (the kiss).
In a good choice scenario, Yukino gets her ultimate persona, confronts her shadow self, rescues Anna, and volentarly sacrifices her ability to use her persona, before going off with Anna to fight nazis with old classmates.
Here she takes action, listens to her inner self, and gives up fighting with a mask of her tramua in favor of facing Nazis with good old fashioned knives. Remember Jugonian logic means manifisting your persona is not a sign that you are doing great, so this is growth, is positive progress. So here, she is winning her battles, her choices to move forward into her life, rather then be held back by greif, and what she doesn't want to know about herself. She's listning, and shes ready to make her wishes a reality.
And then its all undone by the world being reset, but I would be intrested to see how her story might unfold in EP.
Oh yah, swords. Of the minor suits in the tarot, females apparantly have an afinity to pentacles/coin, and males cups, with the other two best to particular people, and yukino is swords, so that seems most relevent to talk about.
"The Suit of Swords Tarot cards deal with the mental level of consciousness that is centered around the mind and the intellect. Swords mirror the quality of mind present in your thoughts, attitudes, and beliefs.
The Suit of Swords Tarot card meanings are associated with action, change, force, power, oppression, ambition, courage and conflict. Action can be constructive and/or destructive.
The negative aspects of the Suit of Swords include anger, guilt, harsh judgement, a lack of compassion and verbal and mental abuse."
Other characters who share this best afinity include Tatsuya, Eikichi, Ulala, Katsuya, and Nanjo.

While most people think that Potion Master Stress knows how to brew love potions, when in realty Scar is sitting on a large stash of really weird and powerful potions, and is about 3 seconds away from spiking The Hermit challange gang's drinks with said love potion -- 🌙
He is a wizard after all... would he ever use them for evil, or keep the hermits safe from the power of the potions?

Tarot for Beginners: The Major Arcana
Tumblr media
Hey, I'm back again for the next instalment of my Tarot for Beginners series. You can read part 1 here, which I highly recommend you do if you haven't. In this post I am going to give an overview of the Major Arcana in Tarot, and when I return from hiatus in August, I will be continuing this series. Just remember that while I will be as factual as possible, my own opinion will be included - I will try to make it as obvious as possible when it is. Enjoy.
The Major Arcana are the first 22 cards within a Tarot deck. They usually represent the huge life lessons that we all eventually experience, especially on the path to enlightenment. These cards are the archetypes of our life - much more prominently than the Minor Arcana. Each card teaches specific lessons for the querent to work on in order to live a more complete life.
These cards were originally known as the Trump cards, back when Tarot was an Italian card game. They also had a different order, based on what triumphs or trumps over others. This was changed with Paul Christian (real name: Jean-Baptise Pitois) in his writings on the occult. Since then, the Major Arcana have gone through many stages of development due to the likes of Ettelia and Éliphas Lévi. I will hopefully go into the History of Tarot at a later date, once I have at least completed my posts on the Major Arcana and the Four Suits of the Minor Arcana.
There are 21 numbered cards and 1 unnumbered card, The Fool. The Fool can appear at the beginning or end of the deck, as it is in a way the wildcard of Tarot. The Major Arcana is believed to be a representation of the Fool's Journey, or the Journey through life. As the Fool progresses through each of the cards he becomes closer to enlightenment. There are a few methods of explaining what the Fool's Journey actually is, and to be honest, I think it's something worth researching yourself if you are curious, especially since different systems have different numbering of the Major Arcana.
When you see a Major Arcana in a reading, it is often a call to reflect on the major aspects of your life. Though not entirely more important than the Minor Arcana, they do usually set the theme of a reading, with the Minor Arcana often linked to what the Major Arcana's main message is. When your reading is predominantly Major Arcana, it means that you are experiencing huge life events that you should pay attention to as they are important for your growth, with reversed or ill-dignified cards indicating that you are not paying attention or maybe even actively ignoring these events, preventing you from growing as a person.
I'm going to be giving a brief overview of each card, though I will hopefully make a post about each one in the future with far more detail. This is only going to be one or two keywords that are generally universal across Tarot.

There it is, my part two in my Tarot for Beginners series. Like I said, I did include some personal opinions in this post, but I do believe I made it obvious which parts are opinion and which are facts. If you disagree with anything I said here, I am willing to have a calm debate. I will return to writing this series in August, once the craziness of July has hopefully settled down.
