My discord serves:
Acropolis
If you’re looking for a Hellenism discord server then look no further you have found on here. And it it quite different to any Hellenism discord servers you may have come across before and that is because it has hero channels along with unsung deities (I use the word unsung because I used to use minor but people kept think g I were saying they were less important which isn’t true), nymphs, and all kinds of spirits. If we don’t have a channel for someone you think should be on there just tell us and we can add it. It is a fun place with a kind and caring community. It may be small now but hopefully will grow in the future so we would love to see you there. So come and join the Acropolis and make new pagan friends and get answers to questions you want to know from any deity.
What we provide:
- A great server with anyone you could think of to worship (and if we don’t have it then you can simply suggest it and we’ll add it).
- A friendly atmosphere.
- Weekly activities.
- A place to chat with like minded people.
- Somewhere to make new friends
Aristaios’ hive
If you are also looking for a Aristaios/Aristaeus server then you’re in luck as I also have one solely for the great god of beekeeping. You’ll be very much welcome to this wonderful friendly place. It is for anyone no matter if you’re just a worshiper, devotee or are just interested it is open to all.
What we provide:
- A great server solely for Aristaios the Greek god of beekeeping and more.
- A friendly atmosphere.
- Somewhere to chat with likeminded people.
- A place to make new friends.
Athene’s temple
Are you a worshipper of the great goddess of wisdom or a devotee perhaps maybe just interested in her?
If you answer yes to any of those questions then you may be interested in this server of Pallas Athene where wisdom flourishes. It is a family friendly server and we will love to see you there.
What we provide:
- A friendly atmosphere.
- Somewhere to make new friends.
- A place to chat with likeminded people.
- A wonderful server solely for Pallas Athene.
Hermes hangout
If you’re a worshipper of Hermes or maybe just interested or even a devotee or priest/priestess then this is the server for you. It is spelt for the swift footed god.
What we provide:
- A wonderful server solely for Hermes.
- A place to make new friends.
- Somewhere to chat with likeminded people.
- A friendly atmosphere.
Temple of heroes and heroines
Hero worship is very much a thing as it also was in ancient times so if you worship a hero and want to talk to like minded people this is the place for you as we have many heroes and if we’re missing one you just need to suggest them and they’ll be added.
What we provide:
- A friendly atmosphere.
- A place to talk with like minded people who worship the ancient heroes and heroines.
- Somewhere to make new friends.
- A place that is always open to suggestions.
House of Witches
Are you a witch looking for a lonely sever for witchcraft? If so look no further this is the server for you, it is a great server with many friendly members so feel free to join we will look forward to seeing you there.
What we provide:
-A friendly atmosphere.
-A chance to meet witchy friends.
-Somewhere to chat with like minded people.
-A safe place for witches.
Conclusion
If any of the links here isn’t working just DM me or tell me in the comments and I’ll send you it again. And if you have any suggestions for any servers our mod teams are all ears, so don’t be scared and make any suggestions you have.

I wish there were some smaller scale polytheist discord servers, bc I feel like every server I find ends up having 1000 people, main chat is moving at 60 messages per minute, somebody is constantly @everyone for what is really some basic information about a deity, or it's just like entirely meant for you to use in your research. Like I just wanna hang out with people who happen to be polytheist, the same way I hang out with people who happen to be queer.

Problematic and Bigoted Pagan Authors (and how to avoid them)
After what was pretty much a mess in a discord server I'm in over an author posting artwork containing Nazi symbols, I decided to make a post letting everyone know about certain authors and what to look out for. I will keep updating this list as I discover things!
Big thanks to @dvudushnydiaries for letting me know ab some Slavic Polytheist authors, as well as my friend Agnes for letting me know about some Irish Polytheist Authors too! <3
If you have any suggestions to add to this list, please let me know!!!
🛑 = Avoid as much as possible
⚠️ = Be very cautious around this author
Generally, here is some red flags to look out for:
Use of symbols associated with hate groups
Claims an (open culture) is closed via ethnicity, especially if these cultures or religions historically shared with other cultures.
Claims there is a "true" or "pure" version of a certain open religion.
Use of dogwhistles.
Writes historical inaccuracies, misinformation, appropriation, making up things and presenting them as fact, etc.
Refusal to take accountability for actions.
Any form of bigotry or discrimination
The list is under the cut!
Hellenic Polytheist Authors
🛑 Timothy Jay Alexander
creator of the "Pillars of Hellenismos", which have little historical basis.
Made homophobic and ableist remarks in a blog post, essentially saying that because ancient Greece did not allow same-sex marriage, that modern Hellenic Polytheists shouldn't too. In this same post he said that marriage should be for making a family, and that since LGBTQ+ people, as well as people with "physical deformities" either can not or should not have children, they cannot marry according to him.
The same ableist remarks listed above were used as reasoning as to why a disabled person shouldn't become a priest or priestess or any higher up positions due to not being in good health. This also reminds me of eugenics.
In that same blog post, referenced a group called YSEE, which is notorious for being homophobic, xenophobic, displaying nationalism among other things better explained in this post by @hellenic-reconstructionism
Books include: A Beginner’s Guide to Hellenismos - Hellenismos Today - The Gods of Reason: An Authentic Theology for Modern Hellenismos
🛑 Galina Krasskova
Numerous things have happened with this author, some of the most notable being selling "Bacchic Lives Matter" pins on Etsy during the 2020 Black Lives Matter movement protests, as well as defending a neo-nazi and fascist group, AFA, on a blog post
Some of her Hellenic Polytheist books include: Honoring the Mothers: Novenas to the Mothers of Our Gods and Heroes - Combatting the Evil Eye - Unto Herself: A Devotional Anthology for Independent Goddesses - Out of Arcadia: A Devotional Anthology in Honor of Pan - Guardian of the Road: A Devotional Anthology in Honor of Hermes
See Norse Polytheist section for her books on that.
🛑 Edward P. Butler
Supports Hindutva, which is Hindu fascism, antisemitic, as well as defends and supports Galina Krasskova.
Books include: Essays on a Polytheistic Philosophy of Religion - Essays on Hellenic Theology.
🛑 H. Jeremiah Lewis / Sannion
Neo-nazi, having nazi symbols on his blog. Also transphobic, islamophobic, and everything under the sun, really.
Books include: Ecstatic: For Dionysos - End to End - Everything Dances: Strange Spirits 3 - Gods and Mortals: New Stories of Hellenic Polytheism
Norse Polytheist Authors
🛑 Galina Krasskova
See Hellenic Polytheist section for details.
Her Norse Polytheist books include: Living Runes; Theory and Practice of Norse Divination - Northern Tradition for the Solitary Practitioner - Neolithic Shamanism; Spirit Work in the Norse Tradition
Irish Polytheist Authors
⚠️ Lora O'Brien
Has a cultish following, thier followers and even themselves bullying and publicly shaming other Irish Polytheists. Often acts negatively towards the Irish diaspora. Has taught Irish Catholic practices, which are closed.
Runs the Irish Pagan School, which has similar rhetoric.
Books include: Irish Witchcraft from an Irish Witch - A Practical Guide to Pagan Priesthood
Slavic Polytheist Authors
🛑 Patricia Woodruff
Has a cultish following, often writes wildly inaccurate information. In a recent book she had completely made up a deity whose name means "swastika". Rated her own books on Goodreads, and publicly responded to any reviews criticizing her books.
Books include: Woodruff's Guide to Slavic Deities - Roots of Slavic Magic Book 1: Slavic Deities & Their Worship
🛑 Madame Pamita
Recently had a (now-deleted) post with an artwork containing various Nazi symbols, and deleted any criticism and seemingly refused to take any accountability. In DM's had repeatedly alluded to if you didn't follow her you "didn't know anything about Slavic Polytheism". Said to be friends with Patricia Woodruff
Books include: The Book of Candle Magic, Baba Yaga's Book of Witchcraft
🛑 Dmitriy Kushnir
Writes about Rodnovery, which many Rodnovery groups in the US and other countries often have ethnonationalist and right-wing connotations and ideology.
Books include: Rodnover
⚠️ Natasha Helvin
Misconstrues Slavic culture to be Wiccan
Says witchcraft are the "universal laws of nature" and that subjects of karma and divine judgement are solely monotheistic.
Claims to be an initiated Haitian Vodou priestess, which is doubtful.
Kemetic Polytheist Authors
⚠️ E. A Wallis Budge
Inaccurate translations of texts
Books include: The Egyptian Book of the Dead (Translation)

Hey, I've recently been having the drive to worship sea deities and have been having a few dreams about the ocean. I live in a desert and can count on one hand the times that I've seen the ocean. I wanted to know if you had any advice? I've been a hellenic polytheist for a few years so I know the basics, but there are just so many sea deities out there, I just wanted some advice!
While I'm not in a desert, I am a landlocked sea witch in the Appalachia, even more so now after my move. I could also count on one hand the amount of times i've even seen the ocean before Lord Poseidon reached out to me.
My discord server has a plethora of sea deities, Lord Poseidon is just the one i focus on the most. This is just one resource though.
I would personally start looking into your main pantheons sea deities. For hellenism, there are so many and I totally agree with you on that.
Some of the main sea deities are, of course, Lord Poseidon but also his Theoi Halioi. These deities work underneath my Lord, and are honestly not too heard of on some occasions.
Here are great resources for a sea witch, if you go to that path.
and here is the page for the Theoi Halioi. If none of these catch your attention, don't be afraid to reach out again!!
Some more honorable mentions are Medusa, worshipped as a primordial sea goddess and Cero, a goddess of deep sea creatures, sea-monsters, and the dangers of the sea.

I’m seeing the HelPol community turn out in massive numbers on certain posts. Like up to 2000 of yall be on here.
WHY HAVE WE NOT CONGREGATED.
I know there’s disagreements within among us and a lot of discord servers. But like. We always talk about wanting community more. More gathered ritual, more of that community feeling.
So what are we doing?
I feel like I don’t genuinely know anyone who is a Hellenic polytheist, and I want to. We all should want to.

Secret Magical Gift Swap 2024/2025 - Sign-Ups Open! 🔮🌿🍄
Tumblr media
Hi everyone! ✨
After a break of 6 years, the Secret Magical Gift Swap is back!
The aim of the swap is to create friendships within the pagan/witchcraft/heathenry/other spiritual community and spread the gift of giving through a postal Secret Santa style event where you send a gift and receive one in return. It's tailored to witches, pagans, heathens, non-religious and religious people alike, Kemetics, Hellenics, polytheists of all sorts, those interested in nature paths, those that follow folk religions, astrologers and others on a path of alternative practice or magic.
In the past this was an annual event but we are now back with a plan to keep the Swaps going a few times a year, more than likely quarterly, with one for every season.
To start this new chapter off, I decided to create the first Swap now, around the very season of giving. However, with the way the financial situation is around the world right now and many post offices being closed for the end of December and start of January, this first Swap will go on from now until the end of January, with a short break in February before we jump into the second Secret Magical Gift Swap!
🍄✨ How to Join The SMGS 24/25:
Read the event rules here and here.
Fill out the Sign-Up form here.
Reblog this post to spread the word!
Join our Discord server if you have a Discord account, for which an invite will be sent to you some time after joining the Swap (this may take time as I'm currently setting up the server :'D)
If you have any questions, please send an ask or message to here or to the organizer, @fernsinthemist The deadline for joining the Swap is November 28th!
Participants will be paired up and sent out within a few days after the deadline.
Enjoy the Swap, everyone!
I am also looking for help! If you are interested in helping to organize this Swap or future Swaps, please fill out this form to apply for a moderator role!

My Discord Server is Live!
Hello, hello! My community discord server is live! Of course, this is it's first run, so if there are any kinks or glitches, please let me know as you join. Here is the link down below to DELPHI'S HANGOUT!
Ahh this is so exciting! Despite the Apollo theme, it is not limited to Apollo devotees or hellenic polytheists. It's open to anyone of any practice - if you don't see your practice listed, let staff know and we'll adjust accordingly! The server is 18+. So minors are not welcome, this is because I am 20 and my tumblr is only really open for anyone over the age of 18, and I am not comfortable interacting with minors in my community spaces. This is for my safety and yours.
That being said though, feel free to join and share it around! And any server feedback is welcome <3 Blessed be, and may the sun be your guide! A domani! (Note: Originally I had scheduled this post to go out in an hour, but I got too excited, ha!)

Hi! Im also a Héstia worshiper, but I don't usually refer to her as an anthropomorphic figure, so I'd like to ask: Are the people in the picrew of your pfp the gods and goddesses you worship (Hermes, Héstia, Hades, Persephone) ? If so, what lead you to envision them with those physical attributes? I'm very curious about the gnosis of other witches!!
Yes, people in my profile picture are exactly who you say they are.
First of all, imagining the gods as anthropomorphic figures is not necessary for worship. It's also very possible that different devotees imagine then with different attributes (just discussed this a bit in my discord server). I must say I have a vivid imagination, that might be influenced by books I read and/or images I see around.
To get to the main point of your question: Hestia has brown features mainly for her warmth and maybe partly because that resembles me and makes me feel more connected; Hermes in my opinion is a youngster with short blond or reddish hair depending on the moment (short for zooming purposes); Hades looks way darker because of his domain and also because I perceive him as the embodiment of stern calm (should have had long hair, but limited game features); Persephone for me shifts between redhead and brunette, but always has green eyes for her spring connection.
In the end, it's just my imagination and opinions that are not necessarily true for everyone. Also something in picture was adapted due to limited features in the game I played. Thanks for this, it's my very first ask!

Hi there! Do you have any YouTube Channel / Podcast suggestions for those wishing to learn more about Greek Polytheism & Roman Polytheism? I do a lot of delivery driver work and so I’m looking for something auditory I can listen to to learn while I’m working.
Thank you 🙏🏻
Hey, Nonny, thanks for the ask!
Glad to find a fellow delivery driver on here! c:
Personally, I don't really listen to podcasts nor do I watch Hellenic polytheist YouTube channels. I have watched the YT channel Aliakai who has some interesting content, but that's about it lol. She did have some videos that would probably be fun to listen to as you're driving, such as one about Hellenic household gods and one about the origins of Hell (not specifically Helpol but I found it interesting).
I heard Aliakai had gotten into some kind of drama within the community (I believe on her discord server), but I'm unsure what the details of this are or if it was some made-up bs. I'm not sure where you'd be able to find more information on that.
Along with Aliakai, I've heard (but not watched) that Fel the Blithe on YT has some interesting content. I'm unsure what all Fel talks about, but their channel might be worth a look for you. I also know @teawiththegods has a YT channel where he posts a podcast, if I remember correctly. Not sure if she's still running it currently, but you can at least watch/listen to older entries of his. You might enjoy that. c:
I know this isn't the most helpful answer ever, but I hope I could at least give you some place to start! Take care, and have a wonderful day/night. 🧡
