Finally finished Surge and Kit's design in the Heart of Chaos AU!

I love the crown of thorns arc so much because it's not that Thorns is the complete opposite to Spikes, is that Spikes was just a step away from becoming him.

Thankfully, once he goes to Thorns, Spikes and Knux had already resolved their issues and Spikes finally regained his sense of self again after Forces and IDWs.

So that's when That fucking page in the archies happen. Except, Thorns isn't as wrong as Scourge was and Spikes is also not wrong at all.

If Thorns only listened, if only he didn't let his ego get in the way, he could've had it all. And if Spikes only did let his ego and anger get in the way, he would've been just like Thorns (although, I think he would not have double down'd after he saw what he did to the planet, lol).

I like to think Sonic used to be mute before meeting Tails. As he was opening up and slowly starting to speak - they just learned sign language to talk in the meantime (I also like the idea of Tails teaching Sonic how to read and write). Sonic sometimes goes mute again, especially when he’s stressed/tired, so he signs regularly. He knows how frustrating it is to not be able to communicate your needs properly, so he decided to teach Metal too.

Oh! Miles is my favorite to write. He's quite different from canon, given the way they all grew up. He's more a quiet, calm storm if you will. He's a lot more like Kit in IDWs than he is to current Tails. He's especially fun during Forces, which is when he starts developing his more Kit-like traits. Forces is a fun trauma-fest for everyone, which takes everyone a lot of time to recover from

Favorite to draw? Rouge actually! I love drawing Spikes, because he's easy to draw and I can stimm-doodle him, but I really like Rouge's hair and look! I wanna draw her more and hopefully I will in the future. :)!
