I’ve been trying to heal and it’s feeling impossible. My childhood trauma is really glaring up this week. Venus was transiting Taurus.. my Mars is Taurus. I’ve been emotional but i think it’s because i stopped wearing my kyanite necklace. Every Avenue of self care feels pointless to me. Everytime i think i want to do something for myself i stop myself. My mom and me have a rocky relationship. And i just wish i could stop looking for her in everyone else. There are tiny things that would remind me of her all the time and as the years keep going... I’ve been forgetting her. We don’t have a good relationship like i said. There’s so much to say so I’ll just leave it there. Recently she blocked me on Facebook. We hadn’t had a fight in a long time but that’s because i had kept my emotions in check. As soon as i spoke out about what she was doing.. she cut me off and blocked me. I just.. everytime i try to speak up about my own personal boundaries, people that i love deeply.. react in a way that i can’t really explain the pain. I’m approaching my 29th birthday and my mom acts like i was never born. I guess that feeling is painful. But the rejection man.. it’s in everything i look at or think about. My own mom doesn’t want me so it makes small things hard. Like getting a job. I never feel good enough to leave my home and be seen in public because of the hated complex I’ve created for myself because of trauma. It hurts to be unaware of the holds i put on myself. I wish i could live freely and be confident and be vibrant and be happy. I wish i were happy and not trying to desperately hide who’s beneath with a giant obnoxious smile because nobody asks the obnoxious person what’s wrong. I had to find a place to come and write my feelings down under an alias because of how much i hate myself and my own social media presence. I know i have good qualities but i most of the time hate myself. I don’t know how to treat other people and I’m just trying to start again and try again. My mothers birthday is approaching and it makes me wonder if i reach out or do i just take the hint and disappear? Every year other people’s birthdays make me feel so horrible and sad and then it becomes a reminder of my own and my lack of family. My mom and dad are both alive but choose to not be in my life just by lack of communication. Literally it’s too hard for them. I don’t know how i got here friends. Looking to make some cool motivational loving healing friends. I need deep support and been contemplating therapy but I’m not so sure paying for something i can give myself is going to help with my triggers around money. This blog is a fresh place to exist for me.

Begin by seeing what your story is. Understand your definition of yourself. What moments do you speak of as defining moments in your life and why? Are you giving power to yourself in those moments, or are you the victim? What other stories from your past look and feel like those defining moments (you'll be surprised to see how many there are when you really look into this part)? When you have this comprehensive understanding of yourself (ps this is what we call "doing the work"), you can begin to retell your story in a way that lets you become whole and complete all on your own AND lets you detach from anything that doesn't serve you on your evolution into your highest good. Maybe not the day, maybe not the exact time, but sometime in the future, you will look back and remember the day or month that you first and finally met with some peace. When they days feel impossible, celebrate the minutes. Take the tiniest steps toward your healing, get help, a coach or therapist, write, ask for help. Trauma never goes away, we are never able to forget, but moving toward the future, a new story unfolding, allows you to take your pieces back. Some days feeling whole parts returning, others very little at all. But the resilience and strength it takes just to survive prove you can. Take time with the pieces, getting them back, the pieces of you, allow you to analyze them, keep what serves you and mold the ones that don’t. This is what saved me from blindness.⠀ ⠀ The fact that I lived by a different truth from anyone else that I knew in my immediate circle is what really saved me from following what everyone else was doing. Since I was little I had already declared that I wanted to live by my own rules, not that I have a hair of antisocial in me, but definitely I have no interest in following the game.⠀ ⠀ To this day, I don't know if my friends or family understood that or simply decided to stop contacting me because there was not much in common. Very few people who also share that spirit are to this day my closest friends, even though we all took separate ways and life far from each other.⠀ ⠀ This is also the reason for this network. A place where those who are awakened can talk freely and share their experiences with one another.
