My minds lingering on it soo- I'm gonna give my (personal) interpretations of the various Super Epic+ rarities and how they fit together/measure up to each other in the scale of the cookie run overall setting. Ready? here we go. Super EpicsThis group is fairly simple to explain, being composed of either very important mortal figures and lower end supernatural beings who don't quite fit the criteria for any of the other categories but are still respectable forces in their own right, and are often the aids of higher powers. This group's main role is the ensure the groups with more responsibilities have less to worry about overall, be it with politics, small events or sending a message. They're the quiet aid that helps prevent the others from being overwhelmed, but they're not always as effective as they could be, but that's why they have epic's to help. Dragons The dragons are one of the few beings who did not start out as cookies but ended up becoming them, likely out of necessity. If the first cookies are anything to go by, a cookie form acts as a great way to preserve one's own life but it's not a perfect solution. However the dragons managed their transformation, it came at the costs of the full extent of their powers, not to say they aren't world shaking powerhouses still, but in their prime there's reason they were considered supreme beings. As it stands they seem to be the first examples of beings who represent different aspects of life: Combat, Dominion, Desire, Strife, and Control. Fitting for Dragons, though that is only an observation. As of current they act as ancient powers capable of changing the tides for whoever gains their favor, but are typically content with what they currently own... at least most of them are. Regardless, many of their acts have influenced not just the mortal cookies but even the Legendaries and ancients alike. The FirstThese were once the group of Witches responsible for the foundations of the cookie world, with many of the mortal cookies having hidden ties to the first's actions. Transformed into cookies to preserve their lives, not unlike the dragons, the First are more comparable to the Ancients and Beasts than the Legendaries or Dragons. They act as pillars of the cookie world, despite once being the very beings that helped bring the age of cookies into existence, they have for the time being, taken to their new forms and roles. Now existing to protect the lesser guarded aspects of the realm, for while the range of the other groups are nothing to scoff at, many have laid dormant or turned to darkness in the recent era leaving much of the world to grow restless and chaotic. Legendaries These cookies are a varied group, which can sometimes include the dragons among their number, but are otherwise tasked with a different purpose, to bring out the exceptional members, Sugar Swan and Millennial Tree are two of the oldest beings that we know off, and are well respected/loathed by all who understand their importance. Sugar Swan maintains the Paradise of the cookie world, a place where time nor change cannot ravage. Meanwhile Millennial Tree watches over the cookie world, while often content with merely watching, they will begin to act if threats far greater than what the mortal cookies can handle, for this very reason the Millennial Tree is seen as the leader of the elemental cookies, those who defend nature and it's principles against the ever grasping claws of darkness. This has however made the Millennial Tree an adversary of those who wish to tear down the established peace for whatever agenda has caught their fancy, be it the Longan Dragon, Dark Enchantress, or the Beast Cookies... But beyond the elementals lies the scattered legends of the world, the Terror of the Duskgloom sea, the Arbiter of Dreams, the keeper of time, the dark reflection of Paradise, the Abyssal Guardian, and the Nova Cookies, known for protecting life bearing planets beyond. They all serve a purpose for the balance of the world, though even so they are just as susceptible to corruption as any other.

Ancients These group of cookies are those uplifted by the Soul Jam and the virtues each one embody. Near immortal cookies who were once average cookies like any other, but became legends as they fought and earned their powers, gaining the united purpose of leading the world and it's inhabitants to a brighter future. However, for all their good, they had only grasped half of their true potential, and within each of them lingered unchallenged darkness that would threaten to consume them if left alone. Thankfully, the unexpected return of the original owners of the Soul Jams, seems to have been the catalyst needed to awaken the ancients to their true nature. Now they begin to rival even the Legendaries in scale as their true potential uplifts all who they call friend. Truth, Passion, Resolution, Abundance, Freedom, these are the keys to the worlds prosperity. Beasts Quite possibly the most dangerous group of cookies to exist. Why? While other beings such as the Millennial Tree and Longan Dragon have the capability to far surpass them in sheer power, the Beasts danger does not lie in power alone, but the influence they wield. Where the ancients embody all that inspires hope in the world, all that inspires righteousness and purity. The Beasts commands the very roots of sin no being could ever escape from; Deceit, Sloth, Apathy, Destruction, Silence. It cannot be understated the very danger these ideals hide, for their use can bring down not only the ancients, but the Legendaries, super epics, the first and even the Dragons, for what being could ever claim they are free of any of these sins? Not Longan, Not Millennial Tree, not Timekeeper. They all, whether by admittance or not, fall victim to one of the great tragedies, they all fall victim to Despair. Thus once the Beast cookies themselves fell from their virtuous highs, and became embodiments of despair itself, it was only natural the witches locked them away. For who could hope to challenge a master of sin, when they have yet to conquer their own? By this reasoning, did the witches commit another act, they severed what little light remained from the Beasts, before purifying and refining them to a state similar to the Beasts own fallen depths, and scattered them across the world. Whoever would be found worthy of possessing such power would be the key to repelling their fallen counterparts, and perhaps even show them the errors of their ways. Now I already did some of it in the posts lol, but lets go over what all of this means together: Super Epics are at the lowest the tiers, the First and Ancients are roughly equivalent, Legendaries are a varied bunch with some being just above unawakened ancients and others being equivalent to awakened dragons, dragons are typically on the higher end, finally, Beast and Awakened ancients are comparable to legends but their real powers extend to the nature of life and soul.

I'm a fan of the idea that siffrin had a younger sibling. he has a soft spot for children in canon, he would've loved a younger sibling to bits.

it would hurt so bad if he ever remembered or found out about it-- as the older sibling, they would've been responsible for their baby sibling! they should've been there to help them out with their homework, and have fun with them, and mess around with them, and... it feels like he got robbed! it feels like he robbed his baby sibling!

and since they left the island as a teen, and they're in their late 20s now-- it's highly probable that this baby sibling would already be an adult as well. they went through all of these huge life milestones and siffrin was there for none of them. he never got to watch them grow up, never got to grow up alongside them... and, even if they ever did get to meet again one day, that sibling probably wouldn't remember him... not because of universe memory stuff like sif, but because he simply wasn't there for his sibling when they needed him. depending on the age gap, they could've left home when their baby sibling was too young to remember them. and that just hurts.

I like to headcanon that part of the reason Port Puerto is named that is because the pirates were generally more fluent in one language and the aristocrats the other. Maybe it was a running joke at some point to use both words, and then it kinda stuck.

I think that in their world it would be more akin to a very distinct dialect, or maybe just a lingua franca with a large percentage of the same language the aristocrats use. Like to the aristocrats it's *mostly* their language but theres pronunciation differences and a lot of borrowed words/phrases. Maybe when the pescados came into power they had it recognized officially.

Trans regulus is 100% real to me but Walburga black with a daughter is a bone chilling thought.

Walburga was a definitely the sort of mother was incredibly picky with her ’daughter’s’ appearance. She was always quick to point out how regulus was ‘too skinny, your bones are showing’ or ‘could stand to loose some weight’ and like purposefully take food off of regulus’ plate to snidely make the point he was ‘being a pig’ when either his table manners weren’t absolutely perfect or he simply had ‘too much’ on his plate. She made sure to remind him every chance she could that his eyes were too slim and his lips too full and his stature too small to meet textbook European beauty standards AND his hair was too curly and his skin had too many moles and his nose was too big to meet textbook Asian beauty standards as well. There was always something to call out regulus for not paying attention to, something to justify being called a slob or careless. A hair couldn’t be out of place, posture had to be perfectly straight, clothing had to be precisely tucked, or Walburga would notice and make it a big deal. Even if he did everything right, she would mention something he couldn’t change. Even if he did change something, like got a nose job or something, she would still ask why he hasn’t gone smaller. Nothing he did could be enough and there was never a time that she ever looked at her ‘daughter‘ and called ‘her’ beautiful or even nice.

So even though regulus knows from other people he’s attractive, he’s aware that people let him get away with things because they find him pretty, he’ll never really believe them. There’s always something to fix, something he’s doing wrong. Anyone who doesn’t see that is stupid and naive. And he’s neither, so he does.

Elrond with dramborleg

Oh boy I had so much fun.

My main thought while painting this was " what would be different about elrond?"

And the answer is alot but a the same time nothing.

Elrond is in a way a sad character he kind of lost everything and the only constance in his life is the heralded past of his ancestors/family and friends.

He almost can't remember his parents but he can read about them even maglor is ,despite being a kindslayer, described as strong imposing and a mighty warrior.

His own brother,who chooses mortality,is a revered king!

This elrond that I depicted here is not the lord of Riverdale. Not married yet.

This is a elrond who will stand between evil and his folk.

Just like his ancestors did.

He is holding a legacy of strong unrelenting men who did change the tides of war who done the impossible no one else did before them!.

This is also elrond who found out that his brothers legacy Numenor is at the bottom of the sea - because of sauron.

This is a elrond who becomes a lord for many different kind of elves because he is a different kind of elve.

A Little Brain-rotting Theory on The King of Puppet's design...

A couple of nights ago I had a realization, something about the KOP's second phase body always looked off to me and I couldn't identify what. It's not his entire body but his pelvic area in particular. For a while i didn't give it too much thought, kept on drawing him mostly as human anyways so I wasn't observing his model as well as i should have.

Then one evening as I was scouring the web for refs for a piece unrelated to Lop it finally clicked. Now bear with me! This is going to get weird but trust me it'll perhaps make sense to you too. To be clear I am not saying that my mad theory is canon subtext nor is intentional or has any legitimacy. This could very much be a case of the devs taking aesthetic inspiration and nothing more. What I'm trying to get at is that there's probably no meaning/symbolism behind it at all.

Okay so, why does the KOP's crotch area interests me so much? That part of his body always remind me of something I'd seen but couldn't remember what. Now I do...

Romeo’s whole pelvis area bears quite the resemblance with Chastity belts.

I know, I know, I know! Absolute brain rot but hear me out! I already brought this up on Discord and had a wonderful back and forth with two lovely people who get the logic behind this theory. They both brought up some very interesting ideas and facts that had slipped my mind and made this headcannon even juicier. So let’s just entertain the idea that this design choice is intentional for a few seconds. Just a few seconds….

For starters we need to focus on who designed this, that bitter bastard Geppetto. We all know Geppetto planned most if not the entire chaos that happened in Krat. The confrontation between P and Romeo as well, note that out of all the bosses outside of the Nameless Puppet and arguably Murphy(but he’s there before we go into the boss battle so..). Geppepe only shows up personally to greet P after baby boi kills Romeo. It’s the only time he does so. Almost like he was both scared that something would go wrong and also in trepidation of what was to come. There’s a palpable glee in his voice post KoP fight.

In the dialogue Geppetto even acknowledges he shouldn’t be there, it’s risky.

First of all, what was his lard ass going to do to help P win this fight?! Bind P with his shiny puppet strings and force him to finish what he'd started? A question for another day...

The point being that this fight could potentially make or break all the hard work Gep put into his scheme. So he HAD to be there, to keep an eye on everything. On his “precious” son lest he step out of line and join the KOP or worse…

I'm also bringing this dialogue up because Gep said a line one of the people i was discussing with reminded me of and that i always found absolutely bizarre.

WTF is that supposed to mean?!! What do you mean Geppetto?! Why are we talking about Romeo's inability to reproduce?!!

The answer is simple. It's cause Geppepe is taking pleasure in all of this. In my mind this implies Gep probably hated Romeo. For a couple of reasons that are in the realm of hc but make sense if you think about it.

Romeo was up until Carlo's death, the closest male figure he constantly had around him. Living together in a boarding school would only help to strengthen their bond. Carlo would certainly seek him out first for comfort or advice before ever considering going talk to his old man.

Gep is a controlling father and possibly very possessive. With his neglect only widening the distance between him and Carlo. I could totally imagine a preteen/teenage Carlo ditching his dad to go hang out, write letters or talk on the phone for hours with his friend instead of spending "quality" time staring at the whites of Geppepe's eyes (or his back) during holidays. This defiant nonchalance could only anger Geppepe further.

Geppetto doesn't strike me as the type of person who's capable of introspection. He'd notice "terrifying" changes in his son's attitude and instead of questioning his life choices, he'd probably blame that street kid Carlo can't keep out of his mouth nor out of earshot.

We all know the reputation boarding schools had back in the 1800s, specially same sex boarding schools. So I'm going to point you to this banger of a post https://www.tumblr.com/ideas-on-paper/754559262628462592/on-carlo-and-romeos-relationship-homosexuality?source=share by @ideas-on-paper. They go a lot more in dept than i ever could. The summary is young boys and girls in same sex boarding schools got their freak on.

We see Gep's neglect truly peak in Carlo's early childhood, we don't know what went on in his late teens nor his early adulthood. This of course requires you to share a common hc that both Carlo and Romeo died around the ages of 16-19 at most. Perhaps during those later years Gep began to pay close attention to Carlo and his entourage. Worse yet. maybe he even began to intrude in his son's intimacy.

Putting those ideas together paints a very vivid picture of this trio's potential dynamics. Gep ignores Carlo, Carlo begins to resent Gep, Romeo and Carlo grow closer as they live and age together then Carlo ignores in turn his dad in favor of enjoying the company of the only male figure in his life that truly loved him and showcased it. Thus, hatred for Romeo takes root deep within that old bastard.

What does that have anything to do with Romeo's crotch being built to resemble a chastity belt you might ask. Well imma have to give you some historical context through screenshots of the most relevant bits of the articles on this obscure subject. I'll post their links at the end of the post(It's surprisingly hard to find more info on this subject and I'm not an essayist okay!!), in case anyone wants to read them.

For starters most articles corroborate the same story. The chastity belt legend meant to keep women from cheating on their husbands is a myth. An urban legend that gained fame during the 18th and 19th centuries. Before this period, they were mostly referred in satirical texts and works such as…

Most historians agree that the chastity belt myth became widespread due to 18th/19th centuries forgeries and the general modern populace (This includes Victorians, Belle Epoque era folks and us) unwillingness to believe our ancestors had a sense of humor. Apparently Victorians were fascinated with this type of nonsense and believing them to be true, gave them a weird sense of “superiority”.

So we now know that those belts were probably machinations from Victorian con men or tricksters. This brings us back to Krat and its Victorian/Belle Epoque ways.

Bet your ass, Krat had fuckery just like these irl examples. Crowds of rich folks ready to pay hefty prices to ogle at shocking spectacles and the likes. But we're going off the rails here...

Coming back to our main triangle here, I think the design of Romeo's pelvic region is no coincidence. Me thinks Geppetto is taking the piss out of Romeo. On top of turning his childhood best friend reincarnation/successor/physical clone or whatever you wanna call P, against Romeo. Gep had to add insult to injury, he felt a need to rub salt on an open wound.

Why? My first hypothesis is that Gep believed Romeo and Carlo were an item. And whether his disapproval for this relationship was motivated by homophobia or sick possessiveness is something i'm gonna let you mull over. Is there any evidence to support his suspicions? Once again I'll let you decide. Both versions of the story are equally as juicy to me. Gep growing jealous because he starts to notice healing hickeys on his son's throat despite a lack of girlfriend, is chef's kiss.

DISCLAIMER: THIS ISN'T A GEPPETTO/CARLO POST. My idea for his emotional turmoil resembles more that of a parent seeing their child not as a person and more as a possession. Think boymoms or girldaddies who hover over their child helicopter fashion but in a very toxic way. This isn't about incest but you can view it that way if that floats your boat.

In contrast, Geppepe's suspicions could be pure paranoia. Doubt he wouldn't have heard of the rumors about boarding schools, if he hasn't been to one himself as a young boy. Couple that with the strong bond Carlo and Romeo share and you get a lunatic psycho like Geppetto foaming at the mouth. There probably wasn't anything going on but just the thought that there might be, could push that man to do unspeakable things like trying to end a whole man’s ability to ejaculate/reproduce and emasculating him in the process.

Let’s assume for a minute that hypothesis number 1 is true. Carlo and Romeo are an item behind closed doors but being horny teens, they conceal it very badly. One could argue that Gep figured out or discovered through whatever means that Carlo and Romeo took each others’ virginity and boom! We have one possible motive for this suspicious design.

It’d be his way of saying “oh yeah?! You think you can sully my son like that you filthy gutter rat?!! Well think again! I’m ending your ability to nut and I’ll make it obvious to the whole world! No descendants for you asshole!” Hence the weird little line about no heir. Not that Carlo could get pregnant anyway but Yknow it’s said like a sadistic little reminder “oh I cut your dick off.”

Unless Carlo was trans…but that’s another story for another day.

Hypothesis number 2

Doesn’t change much from the first besides the fact that there is no romantic relationship. Romeo and Carlo are simply two lads who share a very close bond and love each other platonically. They’re there for each other when need be since both lack stable parental figures for differing reasons but manage to find common ground and comfort in this friendship.

Their closeness still bothers Gep, who blames Carlo’s “mischievous” attitude entirely on Romeo instead of reflecting on his own faults. This spurs Geppetto when presented with the opportunity to turn Meo into a puppet to “rectify”, take revenge or whatever awful sentiment might motivate him. In my opinion, even if they brushed the subject and Romeo denied it, Geppepe would refuse to believe him.

Either way Romeo’s gonna suffer.

Hypothesis number 3

Romeo was a compulsive masturbator and Geppetto thought it wise to put a stop to it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

he doesn't care about Clean all that much. not that it's too important anyways, since his body kinda just... naturally absorbs any outside smells. he doesn't really smell like much of anything.

but if it DOES end up getting bad enough, then warm water and baths is alright. it makes the whole "turning into a literal pile of wet goop" thing much more tolerable.

Anya got rejected to medical school eight times, but tbh that's not as bad as it sounds. Originally, I thought it meant that she got rejected for eight application cycles/years straight, but she probably just applied to eight schools and got rejected from all of them. She's mentioned to have no savings back at home and applications are expensive asf, so I think it's realistic if she applied for only 2-3 cycles/years to only 2-3 schools and got rejected eight times from that. Imo it's less realistic that she only applied to one school for eight years and kept getting rejected (despite this, I still think she's in her late twenties/early thirties tho)

But tbh it's not even unrealistic to think that she applied to eight schools in 1 cycle/year. Was talking to my TA who's applying to medical school, and she applied to seven. Medical schools are ridiculously competitive hard to get into, so tbh it's not even that bad that she got rejected eight times, nor is it any indication of her being "incompetent" or "stupid" (,:
