I NEED more Qui-Gon content. Why is there so little canon content of Qui-Gon? Why isn’t he absolutely everything? How am I supposed to fill this bottomless pit of hunger? Where is he? Why doesn’t he have his own comic about his life as a maverick Jedi, can you imagine how fucking cool that would be? Why aren’t there more novels with him in them??? Where am I supposed to get my Qui-Gon content, huh?? What, am I supposed to just make it myself??? Am I supposed to write the ”Qui-Gon being a great but forgetful Master because he has ADHD and gets captured every other mission” MYSELF??? Come ON, canon, you canNOT just expect me to write all the Qui-Gon stuff that I’m already writing!! I need more, I am literally that image of shaking something rabidly back and forth and I need more to sink my teeth into, please, Disney, you had such a good opportunity to explore one of the most underutilised characters in the entire series and while his appearance in Obi-Wan Kenobi did make me so happy, it wasn’t enough!!!

In the majority of the Httyd franchise Snotlout is trying so hard to be what he thinks people want from him. Which is why I love his development in rtte so much because he is always so scared of being unimportant to people but then he has to actually confront his deep fears and anxieties and reconcile with parts of himself he pretends doesn’t exist. And then he is able to see that he desires his own approval over the approval of others even if the two goals overlap occasionally. Then he is able to become the best version of himself and the best version of him is the one that is kindest to himself
